361  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: MIST (another NFT game): Legit P2E or Scam? on: August 16, 2021, 08:14:48 PM
Nag-dip ito kahapon at naglapag na ako ng pera incase na magkaroon talaga ng NFT game, meron na agad ako magagamit kaysa bumili ako during peak pa.
https://poocoin.app/tokens/0x68e374f856bf25468d365e539b700b648bf94b67

Malaki ang market cap ng mist if checheck niyo, it means that marami talagang nag invest at promising yung NFT game, try to check discord before assuming na scam siya kasi they're sending updates about sa game. Hindi naman din kasi madali mag develop ng laro especially if ang game genre is MMORPG. Also, devs aren't doxxing themselves kasi nga they're still in development kasi, mahirap na kapag hindi natapos then naka-doxxed sila, gg talaga. Sa mga di nakakaalam, if familiar kayo sa Ragnarok na laro, that's an example of MMORPG, hindi lang characters ang dindevelop mo, pati yun environment, neutrals, items and NPC.

Tsaka most of NFT games talaga ay may risk tas hindi doxxed ang devs, better na mauna ka kaysa mahuli at ma-FOMO ka then mahirap na ibalik ang ROI, so ganon din. Invest something you can afford to lose para walang problema. DYOR
362  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Pi Coin: for Future or another scam? on: August 16, 2021, 08:05:34 PM
Ako din napansin ko din lalo na sa mga group ng axie infinity para lang maka-gain ng referrals, masyadong pinopromote sa wrong group para lang maboost ang account. Nakapaginstall ako ng app kasi nacurious ako but I searched about it at nakita ko nga na hindi kapanipaniwala if ang pagbabasehan natin is yung basic knowledge palang ng crypto mining.

Ang pangit kasi sa project na ito masyadong hinahype ang price. Any project na maghype ng future price nila in the future is NO agad sa akin. Ang pangit ng way ng pagmarket nila kung about price in the future ang lagi nilang sinasabi. For example, "future price $100" - dyan pa lang taob na agad sa akin.

Baka sabihin ng iba iyong mga nag-sspam lang naman nagsasabi nyan. Take note, walang ganyang speculation kung di sila nakarining coming from the people inside the Pi project.
363  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: August 16, 2021, 07:42:02 PM
I'm hoping that those pieces of artwork will have a substantial impact on their marketing approach in order to help them stay in business. No only that their competition allows me to develop my digital skills but also covering all of my educational expenses.
You are great at contest art skills and I admit that what you do is so good that you continue to be one of the first winners over and over.
I admire you in every contest held in this forum and also some of your services.

Well like this there will be a good impact on business development for roobet through this contest because those who have skills will definitely join this contest, but honestly I still can't play this art because this is not my talent.
Yeah, he's a fantastic artist who consistently places first in every Roobet art competition. Since they're holding these kinds of contests and giveaways, I believe that's one of the best techniques for boosting the number of people on their platform and of course, the engagements of the platform because they found out about Roobet.

Regarding the art contest, Even if you're not very skilled, you still have a chance to win the art contest; there are no standards in painting; everything is beautiful in an artist's eyes, and I'm confident that the Roobet Team will select those who deserve to win, give it a try!
364  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: August 16, 2021, 07:23:24 PM
Don't easily get fooled when someone posted their winning. It could be their winning after spent bigger amount than what they won. They obviously won't tell us how much profit/lose they got, they will simply post their winning too which they think it could make people attract with the site where they won.
It has become commonplace in gambling we will never know about the balance that has been burned to achieve a high win, but we also feel the same way right? But for gamblers who know of course by posting it brings enthusiasm to other gamblers that the victory is still there even though it has been burned a lot, but that's what gambling is posted on social media will be many who are interested in it, and for me just let it be. as long as you don't force yourself to bet too much.
However, some gamblers experience FOMO, which leads to their continuing to gamble and becoming addicted to it, therefore it can be a negative experience. It's true that winning can motivate us at times, but if you think about it, winning will always exist while losing will only show up if you're extremely unlucky. Positive content can sometimes have bad consequences for people because not everyone shares the same faith; this is true not just in gambling but also in trading.
365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the possible outcomes if you join on a Gambling sites or in Casino on: August 16, 2021, 07:06:31 PM
For me there are 3 possible outcomes if you  join on gambling

First if you are in your lucky day for sure you will win and get more money and became rich.

Second If you are in your unlucky day accept that you will loss the game and come home angry and sad.

Third  addicted even if you are in you lucky day or in unlucky day you all you have in your mind is fight back without knowing that your win or loss .

Some people join gambling sites or casinos with the intention of double their money or having some fun because it is a form of entertainment. Most gamblers, I believe, will not consider gambling outcomes when deciding whether or not to join those platforms and it's obvious that there are only outcomes in gambling, to win and to lose.

Addiction to what we're doing right now is already a personal issue due to a lack of self-control.
366  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Instant BTC,ETH & LTC withdraws | $100k+/week contest | VIP | on: August 16, 2021, 02:56:45 PM
There will always be people trying to get the loot of $100. That can be a lot of money for some, and if they are also able to do it with multiple accounts, then it is a nice snack. The Duelbits team will probably look into this thoroughly and easily catch cheaters and intervene if necessary.
Then can try but they will eventually be caught, Duelbits has maintained its status as one of the trusted gambling sites in the industry and they will not allow cheaters, as long as you are playing it cleanly and follow the TOS on Duelbits you will not encounter any issue it also applies on other trusted gambling site, a big gambling site like Duelbits will always play fair to all their players so players should do the same.
For sure there's an algorithm behind it because like you guys have said, 100$ is already huge money for some and I bet that they're ready for cases like this. Cheating isn't tolerated, of course, they are ready on it since they're a gambling platform and it might ruin their reputation if the platform has a lot of cheating cases. Maintaining the reputation of a platform is pretty hard, Duelbits have grinded that from the beginning so they won't let these kinds of cases happened.
367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Exposed to children on: August 16, 2021, 01:40:50 PM
in my country, only stupid parents teach or let children play gambling when they are small
children have no income, they will definitely try to make money to gamble by stealing parents' money or doing other negative actions

Gamblers who do not have a fixed income will definitely try to get money to gamble in any way, it cannot be denied
Don't assume that being open-minded by letting children gamble from a young age is a wise parent
Those children need to be guided by their parents so they do not try to learn or know how to gamble, although they can still get that way from their friends. But if their parents can be strict with their rules not to let their children know about gambling, they will not try to gamble.

The fact is we see many people who do not have a fixed income trying to gamble to make money. But in the end, they lose all money in gambling and they feel desperate, which can attract them to commit a crime.
Yes, guidance is always needed to avoid those kinds of situations where children are now getting curious about gambling. Kids are easy to get curious on such things especially if these things are getting his attention like card games in gambling. If a child is taught about the reality of gambling and how it works, he is unlikely to do it because he knows it is wrong and should be avoided. Parental supervision is really essential to us and plays a significant role.
368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It takes years to build a reputation and seconds to break it on: August 16, 2021, 12:49:50 PM
The really big bookmakers have a lot of customers. I don't think they are easily steered by the fact that they have a problem with a customer. After all, every bookmaker or casino has a problem with a customer
There are a few gamblers that are dealing with them having bad experiences. They're probably looking for the perfect casino but the reality is that there's really no perfect casino. And every problem that they deal with those casinos, they're solvable as long as they're communicating well and bearing with them.

often related to payout of course. But it's true, a reputation can be destroyed in moments.
Yes, the majority that I've seen are related to withdrawals. But that's no problem as long as they've delivered the withdrawal amount but yeah, sometimes we feel bad if it's delayed a lot. Most casinos are learning from those experiences too.
that's why we really have to choose a casino that does have a good service to users, and many incidents like what you said happen to gamblers nowadays, and usually gamblers will find it difficult to make withdrawals when they win large amounts of money , and even the casinos block their accounts for various reasons that make no sense at all, so that in the end the gamblers can't get their winnings at all.
In my opinion, choosing a good casino is not only through the ratings and reviews given by its users on their website, but in my opinion, a good casino is when the casino is able and willing to pay gamblers when the gambler wins a large amount.
Trust the platforms that are suggested on bitcointalk.org; most of them pay and don't only have a good rating since, as you can see, they offer a lot of contests and raffles to their users, and they have already spent a lot of money on these types of events. It means you won't have to be concerned if someone wins a large sum of money; he'll be sure to collect his prize. It's becoming increasingly difficult to locate legitimate gambling platforms, as some platform owners are selfish and refuse to award a prize to a deserving winner.
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you recommend staking? on: August 16, 2021, 12:31:55 PM
Staking is advised if the coin has a lot of potentials to develop in the future. For example, the Cardano coin has been worth staking for the previous three months, and the value has already increased by x2, from $1 to $2. So you can see that staking is really a good way of increasing your assets and making a profit just at the right timing. I'm staking a lot of altcoins right now and before I staked them, massive research has been conducted so I'm at peace even there's a market crash happening.
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: End of memecoin season by Vitalik Buterin or not? on: August 15, 2021, 11:42:01 PM
~
It's sad what you see in this cryptocurrency market, someone wakes up and creates altcoin named after a Japanese fish or a dog name and so many people buy the coin making the coin creator become rich
This is going on for a long time and so is the reason some of the project developers are anonymous because they keep on changing with their ideas and they usually copy other source code and launch their own coin and in the end when everything is set and done the developer will be making millions and they move on to the next one.

And gullible investors keep on buying these worthless tokens. These crappy projects will not grow like mushrooms if there are no naive buyers. However, people are patronizing this kind of hype so these "developers" keep on creating crap projects. And then, people are blaming this scamming technique, but what we can do, is to be more cautious with our investments. Because they don't care if you are screwed as they all want is to get more money for their pockets.
Some of them are whales who profit from people who buy meme coins since it's easy money for them. You'll need to do a lot of research or bought during pre-sale or whitelisted on a private sale to avoid being roughed up by the developers or exploited by the whales. The developers are the ones who benefit the most from these meme coins because I personally know some people who develop shitcoins and make a lot of money by simply spending time developing and promoting them so that a lot of people will buy it.
371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on the Paralympic Games? Ethical or not? on: August 15, 2021, 11:17:33 PM
We will soon see the start of the Paralympic Games.... ( 24 Aug 2021 to 5 Sept 2021 ) ...so I was thinking if it was ethical to bet on these events? Will it be disrespectful towards people with disabilities or will they want to be handled in the same manner that any other athlete wants to be handled?

I spoke to a few disabled people at work and they have no problem if their athletes get the same attention as any other athlete that competes in the Olympic Games.  Wink  They say it will be disrespectful if they are treated in any other way...

So what do you guys and gals think..... ?
It depends on your perspective; for me, there's nothing wrong with betting on paralympic games because it's still a sport, and even if people didn't gamble, they'd still determine who would win and compare themselves. I don't think it's disrespectful since they're doing it for the love of the sport or for the money, and we can wager on these games as well. Treat them like regular people, and you'll have no problems since we're all the same; our differences are merely handicaps. They can succeed in what they're doing, just as we can.
372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taxes on gambling send the right message? on: August 15, 2021, 11:03:45 PM

Exactly, if the government will impose high taxes on gambling, it's either they want to make more revenue while keeping the business alive or they just want to kill the industry as they don't want to put a complete ban on gambling. The purpose is really important, and if gambling operators still continue to operate despite the high taxes, that means they can afford to pay the taxes as they are running a profitable business.

Casinos are government's cash cow because it is patronized by rich people and the flow of money is continuous, the government knows that the money keeps flowing in and they want to have a share of that profit by imposing huge taxes, seldom we read that casinos folding because of the high taxes when they just impose the additional taxes to their players, so I believe the casinos will not die because of high taxes.
Agreed, the government will continue to milk such casinos because they are one of the most lucrative sources of revenue because many gamblers play there 24/7. Because gambling is one of the affluent people's pastimes, large sums of money are constantly in circulation, and most casino minimum bets are so expensive that the typical person cannot afford them. So even the government implement such high taxes on gambling casinos, it'll run smoothly as nothing happened because of the high percentage of the business' revenue.
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT games also another way to gamble your money? on: August 15, 2021, 10:51:06 PM
Axie Infinity has been on the top of it when it comes to Return on Investment. So you should hold this coin for long term prospective.
I missed the new trend and i am literally furious as i did not expect projects like these to pop up after i have seen the ICO fiasco which was good in the beginning but then end up as the biggest shit show. First time i am hearing about Axie Infinity and the ROI of interest is said to be 65492.42% in the last 9 months which is really crazy .
If a player is particularly skilled in the arena, a quick return on investment can be achieved; there are numerous methods to earn a lot of SLP in this game, and it was recently changed to be dependent on abilities and understanding of the game. I also missed out on buying AXS and SLP, which have since skyrocketed in value, and I can't imagine how much higher they'll go. That's why I'm looking for another starting NFT game that can reach what Axie Infinity achieved so that I can easily earn money.

I'm wondering if those projects who aren't dead are still under development. I recall that VR was quite popular at the time, and I'm curious if the project and those platforms are still operational, as VR isn't in the best of shape right now. I mean, the current crypto meta isn't all about VR right now, and crypto porn isn't really a thing, so if you want something spectacular, make it in real life rather than going VR. Roll Eyes

[Valorant]
Tomorrow SEN vs 100T in the grand finals of VCT Stage 3 in NA. I go for Sentinels since they're the Astralis of the Valorant right now, the team comp is very good, they are very individually skilled especially the Duelist of their team which is TenZ. They haven't lost yet in stage 3, and they have a 3 win streak on their way to the grand finals, so it's better to bet on them; it'll be easy money.

Splintershards could show some excellent movement in the coming days; the game is doing well and the number of players is growing every day, so it's better to invest now rather than later. I've already gained a lot on this game because of DEC, the in-game currency which is also pumping right now.

Splinterlands is one of the popular NFT games nowadays with initials of 10usd, try to explore and join the game. Always DYOR.

378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NFT still hot??? on: August 15, 2021, 08:32:49 AM
They are almost done, the hype could end up soon and only those reliable NFT projects will be left while the others will die. I have seen them having no difference from ICO, Defi projects, as they got into hypes and they collapse.
And besides, only NFT games give life on this platform, the rest are just ignored and investors having no interest in them. Well, I can admit I have no such interest as well.

Very likely, NFT apart from games or investment assets is very likely to lose the hype and not be a popular thing anymore. but with the existence of NFT games and more innovations that provide benefits for users and platforms, I think the popularity NFT in the games section will be much longer than art, Ecosystem in NFT games is much more active.
This new approach brings more interest and now investors are into play to earn NFT system.

The popularity will continue as long as good dev will continue producing good concepts and provide progress, just hope that dev from those successful play to earn games will deliver and not become greed and runaway the money the games that they created. This industry will achieve more success for sure.
That's what I'm looking for as well, and because it's difficult to achieve these kinds of things as a game developer and NFT designer, I believe they'll do everything they can to make it the greatest. There are a lot of NFT games out there, but they don't have a lot of players or investors, thus the popular NFT games presently are really fortunate to have built a fan base for having a decent and balanced game. Developers of major NFT games are currently doxxed, so we can't see them fleeing with our money.
379  Economy / Economics / Re: Food prices doubled this year on: August 15, 2021, 08:00:27 AM
I live in a village, on the slopes of a mountain and this is what happened in my village during the pandemic. The conditions in most cities in our country are, hotels are empty of visitors, many restaurants are closed, if they are open their operating hours are shorter, food stalls are empty of buyers, the middle-class economy on average changes their lifestyle more efficiently. It's not magic and it's not magic. The price of agricultural crops is in free fall, a drop of minus 100%, some even more. So no increase in food prices.

Not very surprising. A lot of people have lost their jobs (especially in the unorganized sector), and they have cut down on their expenses. Even in the selection of food, the preference is now for less expensive stuff. And this impact is more in the village areas, since very few of the population would be having formal jobs. Those who have formal jobs will be protected against job loss and salary reduction to some degree, at least temporarily. That is not the case with those who work in the informal sector.
Indeed. This is not just in any villages but I think everywhere. Because of the pandemic, their are lot of people who losses their job, they have nothing to eat. Every countries face the hard time because of covid19. The inflation and economic problems become one of the biggest impacts from pandemic. Food price doubled this year because that is the main need of human being. Everyone need food but the food storage cannot fulfill the demand. Quarantine is also the reason, people needs job and business right now are limited.
Yes, everyone is affected as well as this new news in our place. All tourism entrepreneurs will close if the end of this year the restrictions continue. Up to thousands of workers all at home. This is indeed a very difficult situation. I hope this pandemic passes quickly.

The pandemic causes a lot of problems, but the government's excessive attitude towards the pandemic actually creates more problems, I think the best way is not to care about the pandemic, there are no social restrictions, the healthy are free to do activities and the sick are treated if dead then buried.
Yes, it's all because of the pandemic we're now dealing with; food production rates have slowed, so expect supply to become scarce and prices to rise. Because so many people are still dying as a result of COVID-19, it's hard to return to a regular manufacturing rate while there are still cases every day. Not caring about the epidemic won't assist you because we're all affected, and some of us are still recovering from last year's lockdown; many businesses have closed, making what you're saying impossible now.
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: PI Network! A huge trap[Warning!] on: August 15, 2021, 07:17:05 AM
People on social media are talking about the Pi network, particularly those who are new to mining and have no idea how it works. They're comparing it to other NFT games in the Philippines because it's free and can generate money without investing, and my friends are also spreading this pi network, so I'm continually replying to this thread to let them know what's going on.

When it comes to personal information, I understand that social media platforms have already bypassed it and gathered our data, but most of them are trusted, such as Facebook and Twitter. However, when we're talking about platforms or apps like this one, it's kind of strange to require KYC to cash out the money, and I don't believe that's how mining works. If they're going to release too good to be true applications like this, I think it's a good idea to demonstrate some security to the users about how everything works, but that's not happening.
