482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sexy casinos on: July 14, 2021, 10:45:46 AM
I preferred the typical one; it's strange to me, but for some, having nicely dressed women in a casino is normal. It's sometimes a casino owner's marketing plan to attract more gamblers, and it works since men are attracted to that kind of sexy dress, and it boosts their confidence in gambling in the casino.

But, as others have stated, it does feel strange to engage in such activities while gambling; however, based on my experience and the gambling campaigns that I've participated in, they do not do such, and I can tell that they are quite competent in their business. But, we all have different preferences, in general, a gambling platform that is simple to use and offers a wide range of perks will continue to be the best option.
483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You got a pifzer ? Then you can be eligible for lottery in Poland. on: July 14, 2021, 10:06:35 AM
Months before we heard a news where to increase the chances of people getting vaccinated they government gave them a chance to win prizes, lotteries and even in some countries you are allowed to travel for free. Yet again the Government of Poland announced quite an unusual prize for people who have gotten pifzer. You are eligible to participate in the lottery plus the prizes are up to 260,000$!!!! Which is a great news. But unfortunately only 35% of the people in Poland are vaccinated yet. Not only that read this :
Quote
From 1 July every 500th person to take the dose will receive a cash prize of PLN200, while every 2,000th person will receive PLN500. The Polish Government will be giving away five prizes of PLN50,000 every week for three months, alongside the incentive each month to receive PLN100,000 and a Toyota Corolla for two lucky winners. The final winners will scoop up the PLN1m and a Toyota CH-R each... If you were thinking of moving to Poland, then now’s your chance. And if you need an electric scooter, they’re flogging them too, 720 to be precise.

Now that's a gamble that you gotta try! If you are from Poland then you have to get the shot! I do think this is an interesting gamble for the people there what do you think ? ?

https://www.gamblinginsider.com/news/12395/pfizer-for-prizes-as-poland-launches-covid-lottery
In my opinion, it's just a government's way of forcing people to get vaccinated because it's difficult to deal with everyone, especially those who don't want to get vaccinated. As long as the covid-19 virus exists, new variants appear out of nowhere, and it is extremely dangerous to allow this virus to exist in the world.

IMO, the government's idea to encourage people to be vaccinated in exchange for a chance to win money is a good one. Yes, it's still a risk, particularly if you distrust vaccines and are willing to get vaccinated for the sake of winning the money. However, I'm very sure that there are just a few people who don't believe in vaccines because they're afraid of what can happen to their bodies, and that fuds are ubiquitous.

488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has the world become greedier since BTC? on: June 30, 2021, 11:59:41 PM
Since BTC and crypto everyone wants to get rich and earn a lot of $. Everywhere you look it's the same story, be it BTC or any other shitcoin. It's obvious not everyone will make it.

Yeah, getting rich is nice and I also hope it will happen for myself but I feel the society is becoming way too materialistic. Also the greediness level seems very high, everyone want to get more and more.

What's your view on this?
You aren't the only one who has noticed the current state of affairs in our society. Most people right now, especially when crypto gained the attention of many people because of its bull run, have invested their whole savings and hope to profit from the current situation of crypto. Well, I can't blame them because it's an opportunity to develop, but the others are simply attempting to cash in on the buzz by investing heavily without considering the risks. I've noticed that they're impatient and gamble all of their money without making a proper judgment or considering the consequences of their actions.
489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you pay with Bitcoin whenever you're able to? on: June 30, 2021, 11:16:08 PM
I have yet to spend any bitcoins at any of the stores that accept bitcoin as a payment method.

Bitcoin has a great growth potential, thus I don't want to utilize it as payment because the price may quadruple at any point in crypto.

Bitcoin is a valued asset, analogous to gold. Did you use gold as a payment method? It's a difficult and time-consuming operation, so imagine if bitcoin is squandered; I might regret it if the price of bitcoin rises after I use it. I hold crypto so I can gain profit anytime if the BTC rises.
490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do ordinary people feel afraid of Bitcoin? on: June 30, 2021, 10:38:44 PM
You can't be terrified of what's going on with bitcoin if you don't have any notion of what's going on. People who have no knowledge of how or what bitcoin is would find themselves in a difficult scenario if they invest in it. One of the fundamentals that you should focus on is knowledge.

I've found that some people aren't investing in bitcoin because they don't understand how it works, despite the fact that there are platforms that may help people learn more about it.
491  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you define rich? on: June 30, 2021, 05:31:50 PM
How would you define what is to be "rich"? Is it about having enough for living or is there something else that you would be looking to accomplish to be rich?
Is it 1 million USD? Is it 1000 bitcoin? what are your thoughts?

Simple define in rich status are able to own expensive  things, are able to buy anything . anything value  is it Dollar or bitcoin if it still have a huge value that we called rich.
It's a simple concept, but it's not if you describe it specifically; being wealthy is about more than simply money. People used to call them wealthy because they had all they needed to survive and had no financial issues; I suppose the same can be said today.

Being wealthy isn't about having a lot of money or possessions; it's about being content with what you have and not needing anything else since you can survive and live a happy life. If you have a dream about something that can't be bought with money but can be bought with knowledge, that is a good illustration of being wealthy.
492  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin, papalo ba sa $100k ?? on: June 30, 2021, 04:41:04 PM
493  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pagpasok ng Tao Sa Crypto on: June 30, 2021, 04:17:50 PM
Halos 3-4x ata yung nadagdag sakanila eh.

Sayang talaga.

2021 on: June 30, 2021, 03:14:30 PM

495  Economy / Economics / Re: what makes us good investors. on: June 30, 2021, 02:01:43 PM
Hodling when time crashes and not panic selling is one of the good definitions of a good investor. If you're panic selling too much and can't even handle corrections, I don't think you're included as one of great investors because you didn't played well in difficult situations of the crypto market.

One of the fundamentals in trading in crypto is controlling your own emotion because if you can't, multiple unsure decisions will occur on your crypto journey and it might lead you to huge loss.
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Cryptocurrency is best for long term investment? on: June 30, 2021, 12:34:47 PM
From your list that you showed us, I will choose BTC, ADA, DOT and MATIC. Don't ask me the reasons, but these would be the projects. But these lists usually don't mean anything and in the end it all comes down to how many dollars you got from some project in order to buy more BTC or even other projects. The treatment with BTC is different, you shouldn't even have put it on that list and compared it to these projects.
Same opinion.

But the top of the top is ADA, since he doesn't want to explain the reasons, I'll share facts and opinions about this altcoin.

-ADA has a blockchain similar to BNB and ETH.
-They will run smart contracts soon.
-and last, they have a scalability solution getting ready.

if those are implemented, he can be a good competitor for ETH 2.0, so I suggest putting a huge percentage on ADA than other altcoins.
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to make good profits through ICOs? on: June 30, 2021, 12:20:36 PM
Hi there, I was looking at a couple of ICOs on CMC today (especially at Safelaunch) and it's been a while that I started to analyze the "results" of some previous ICOs like Centrifuge, Bytenext and other random coins.

I noticed that their ICO price was way lower even than the very first opening price, so I was wondering if it could be a good idea to regularly take part in these events, and, if an ICO allows me to freely manage the money I placed in it (for instance, immediately taking back my money if my profit target has been reached).

P.S: with "good profits" I don't mean bullshit like 10x, 100x and "to the moon", (obviously everyone has a different conception of "good profits"), but a decent amount of money that allows me to make an accumulation plan, would be great to see other people's experience.
Actually, I don't have any idea about the current ICO because the last time I joined ICO is the year 2018 but I think it's still the same because nothing has changed. I can tell that there are still many scams that occur in the crypto community and some of them aren't really profitable, only the devs are getting profit.

In this kind of situation, I really recommend to make research before investing money in new altcoin, one of the fundamentals to do in crypto.
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think about NFTs? on: June 30, 2021, 11:49:18 AM
NFT in my opinion has good future, it's just few months ago when NFT booming it becomes a bit of a bubble but due to that it gains popularity as well because so many news released regarding NFT but in the long run
it has real use case like for ownership of certain property, etc. it's just under utilized. Many people may disagree with me but I can see how NFT could also become a big thing in gaming sector. it's just matter of time.
True, NFTs have a bright future, especially since that some NFTs are becoming increasingly popular, and what if someone created an NFT that is both useful and profitable? NFTs are a game changer in the crypto community, as seen by the fact that many individuals are interested in the potential of crypto, as well as some of its various applications.

I'm really intrigued about the NFT game in our country, I've mentioned it a lot because it's really profitable to invest in that game.

500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you recommend staking? on: June 29, 2021, 11:55:57 PM
If you have a lot of ETH, I recommend staking since it will be simpler for you to get passive income each month because you have so much, and it will be beneficial while you wait for the market to rebound. But keep in mind that staking comes with a risk; it necessitates timing in terms of where you will stake your money because you cannot TP out your staked assets, especially during a market fall. So, if you have a lot of assets, go staking; if you only have a few, consider spot trading or investing more to make it more rewarding.
