18041  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are you drinking on new year? on: January 02, 2014, 10:35:28 AM
i had a sip of beer 2 weeks ago (as in 10% of a bottle). other than that, i haven't had any real drinks since new years of 2011 when i was rolling in thailand.

And you didn't get pegged by a ladyboy?

nope, actually i met a girl at a bar and she took me out with her friends. took her back to my motel and.. she was kinda attached the next day. her friend was drunk and she hit on me too, and she got all catty. man, i should have tried to bag both!

You sure it was a 'girl'. This is what Thai bar wo/men do because they're looking for western sugar daddies. Did you give them any money? They usually want paying for their company.
18042  Economy / Services / Re: Get 0.4 BTC for your Signature! [ minimum 10 posts :-) ] on: January 02, 2014, 10:15:57 AM
Hey guys "who saying that I am not paying"

How do you want a proof?  Wink

let me know and ill proof.

Show proof you have the BTC, and/or put the money in escrow to pay people.

hmm..

here is my private wallet I am going to pay with him
https://blockchain.info/address/1557pj8SZ3qYzpVLS7LBie8qAp74Trz3SW

if I need more BTC to him I can deposit I have more wallets (from speedbet.net )

I am not going to use escrow.
you can trust me or dont Smiley
If that is your address, sign a message with it's private key.

Or better yet, submit the promised payouts to an escrow account so that you can't back out.

I think we all know this is gonna go the way of Bitsplay.ga.

Yup. As a general rule, unless these new offers can be validated by willingness to put at least some of the money in escrow, then assume that they're scams. People really need to stop signing up for these, especially when you can already get the same deals from other respectable users.
18043  Economy / Services / Re: Forum Posters for Bitcoin Forum on: January 02, 2014, 10:10:32 AM
I think this is what he meant:

Pay some members from here to register in his forum and start posting there.
He would pay 0.01 BTC (or equal value in quarks) for every 50 quality posts.

"Quality Posts" means:
- posts relevant to his "special tasks" (like transferring info from wikis, info from search engines)
- sharing video relevant to his "special tasks" (like video tutorials)
- NOT one liner posts (such as "thank you" and "good bye")

This is the message I got, not sure if it is right??

Well, this seems to be about right, but he doesn't pay for just signing up or merely posting, as I was initially also confused by his offers. However, he does seem to pay out for guides etc, but that's probably a lot of work to do 50 of them.

As Hostmaster mentioned, there is also free giveeaways there.

18045  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: An app i wrote for myself on: January 02, 2014, 09:58:59 AM
hello what's this app

Try it and find out  Grin. It is allegedly a BTC price ticker, but I'm guessing it's just some sort of Bitcoin stealing trojan.
18046  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is BTC-e and Vicurex legit? on: January 02, 2014, 09:57:08 AM
Hello, is BTC-e and Vicurex legit? I want to make a International Wire Transfer there. BTC-e doesn't have £ balance, what would happen if I send them 2000£?

You can use Bittylicous if you're in the UK.
18047  Other / Meta / Re: Signatures: links, colors, sizes and frustration. on: January 02, 2014, 09:50:33 AM

It's still just blue, but weirdly on the topic summary it shows as red, but isn't a clickable link there.

Try this:

Do you plan on having a rewards program for the people we refer to primedice like tracking who we refer?

Reward such as 5% of their winnings?

I'm addicted to the dice roll now and I know others will be to if there was even more incentive.

Affiliate program will be restarted in 2 weeks with the release of PD3. Also I will be looking into a new pay structure as there are a lot of bots apparently abusing this promotion.

Anyone spamming or making posts like "I agree with this" on 100s of posts, don't expect payment.

I could be wrong, but I haven't seen any posts that are blatant bots. I'm pretty sure bitpop was just referring to anybody who partakes in this signature campaign as a 'bot'. You could make perfectly constructive posts and yet some people would still call this spam merely because you have a signature ad. I actually find people who haven't even got a signature ad post the most crap and spam.
18049  Other / Off-topic / Re: Intellectual laziness. on: January 02, 2014, 09:40:27 AM
People are generally idiots. Doesn't matter if they don't listen to you now; hopefully when BTC goes mainstream and is worth multiples of what it was you can then fell pretty smug.

Feel free to double-check the ~900 posts I've penned since the bet was made on November 08, 2013, 09:48:31 PM (CST).

~Bruno Kucinskas

Is there a bounty available if I go through all your 900 posts and find a lie or untruth?  Cool

Inaba might pay Grin

Tell him to get in touch  Grin. Anyone wanna bet me I can/can't find some nonsense in Phinny's posts?  Cheesy

How do you post a picture?
I just get the error now with bitcointalk.org image proxy invalid image.

It's probably too big. Resize it and try again.
18054  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: First Post! on: January 01, 2014, 07:55:58 PM
Check out the newbie readme. You need to be actively logged in for four hours.

18056  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: An app i wrote for myself on: January 01, 2014, 07:22:48 PM
Not gonna download, but I'd avoid downloading random files from here.

Especially from newbs on their first post.
18057  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can't reply to threads? on: January 01, 2014, 07:09:33 PM
... I wish this was more clear, as I could not put up support questions to my pool, which is not in newbie forums :/ ...
I totally agree. It took me four days to notice it, even after reading all the documentation for newbies.

It tells you when you sign up and it's also in the newbie readme.
18058  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin price on: January 01, 2014, 07:08:15 PM
They'll most likely surpass $1000 again within the next few months.
Or going to $1?

Almost certainly not.
18059  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need very small amount of Bitcoin on: January 01, 2014, 06:59:38 PM
Is english not your main language?  You should brush up on it because it doesnt help your cause looking for BTC via paypal like this....
Its not. What you want me do then give you my Visa and say take your $2 please  Undecided  Grin

like what give me example I'll see if I can pay with.

Alternative cryptocurrencies like Litecoin, Feathercoin, Doges etc.
But with those seems I'll still go through other websites which I am sure will cause me lose more than what I already lost. Is there any of these easy and trust to have without any hidden commissions or profits that you advise me with?

I didn't mean go buy some, I meant do you already have some to trade for that bit of Bitcoin you need.

18060  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if ISPs start blocking cryptocurrency data? on: January 01, 2014, 06:52:24 PM
Does no one remember what happened when ISPs tried to stop Bittorrent? How well did that work out? How quickly did users adapt to the extra steps necessary to operate compared to how quickly the ISPs acted?

That's why it'll be futile to even try banning Bitcoin.
