1821  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: August 19, 2014, 11:54:34 AM
wanted to do a large order, but reading the forum i would need escrow and im looking at 20 piece order. And the maximum turn around would be 72 hours. Let me know gitbknowsall@gmail.com

Please stay away from AMT. Even if I am biased I would recommend you to take a look at the miners from my sig. Feel free to not do it, but just stay away from AMT and inform yourself better before sending money.
1822  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Are the next generarion asics (under 28nm) on the horizont already? on: August 19, 2014, 11:48:23 AM
Anyone reliable building something at 20nm or so?

Yes. KnC!

Quote
Is anything less than that realistic to expect in the next couple years actually?

Yes. I'm waiting for 16nm in 2015.

It's been a month.  Any updates on this venture, and when it will be available to individuals?

They don't need individuals right now. They found some last minute investors.
1824  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What is the endgame for BTC? on: August 19, 2014, 10:43:34 AM
In my opinion, the extinction of home miners will ultimately cause the failure of BTC.

I don't agree with this. BTC has nothing to do with the failure or success of home miners.
1825  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Who Keeps Adding Mining Capacity? on: August 19, 2014, 10:40:54 AM
I don't understand how anyone can make a profit now, even with cheap electricity and no VAT.

You can still make a small profit running your existing equipment, but no way investing in new equipment can be justified.

Is the current spike in hash rate due to:
Randomness?
Hardware turned back on after summer?
Investment back log?
Irrational investors?
Or people buying miners for heating?

Bitfury keeps adding the most mining capacity.

People have been saying this since last year. First batch S3's bought 1 month ago have already mined ~0.35 btc and can be sold for ~1btc so about 200% ROI in one month.

Who would pay 1btc for an S3 when you can order it directly from the BITMAIN for 0.58 for September delivery or when he could pay 0.66 for August delivery?

Or consider hardware that is more appropriate for 120v in a condo and can actually roi

There is no legal way to get 240 where I live and I certainly don't want the NOISE

Then this product (SP30) is not aimed for you. Why are you still lurking here then? What's your purpose? I don't think SP-Tech will make the miner less noisy right now so nothing can change except the pricing. I don't understand what do you actually want.

Less noisy
ROI probable + profitable
works on 110 at spec
in stock (no pre-order)

1. won't happen
2. ok
3. already works
4. wait for sp50

You are on a post hunting it seems.

1828  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 19, 2014, 06:35:00 AM
I see no big problem in the pricing of spondoolies product, and the fact that they are sold out more than one month in advance speaks for itself (from an economical standpoint).

I have to disagree.

Spondoolies really needs to keep up with the competition. They were asking $0.94/gh while Bitmain and AM are offering $0.6/gh.

I really doubt most sp30s are sold at non-negotiated prices.

I have highlighted the relevant text for you. Why is it so hard to accept that some people like to pay extra for various things. In this case I have no problem paying a little extra for a compact and robust case and no wire mess. I do consider that paying a bit extra will still bring me ROI and I have yet to see a regular miner setting up his S3s in a DC. I know there are people that personally set them up in their DC, but I haven't seen a long distance relationship like I'm having with Advania.

I expect average 15% increases for the short term, not sure where i said 80. Where did I state no miner will roi? please quote.

Read my last post again. I said 80% for 2 months, not per difficulty jump. Here is where you said that no miner will ROI:

hope your well built miner cost less than 3.2BTC because it will be a paperweight by new years if its hosted

In your difficulty projection you are stating that in 2 months from October to December we will have more than the total current hashpower added to the network. I find that highly unlikely, but I don't mind people making wrong projections. It means that I will earn more bitcoins.
1829  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 19, 2014, 06:14:19 AM
Did you not receive an SP30?

I did, but not from the GB. I already mentioned that I had a July SP30 ordered and a Farmer's Choice bundle which was available before the GB.

10-1 – 10-31 (65 days)   34507 M   0.9099   0.9099   2.759
11-1 – 11-30 (95 days)   45635 M   0.4006   0.4006   3.16
12-1 – 12-31 (126 days)   60353 M   0.04377   0.04377   3.204

So you expect the difficulty to rise with 80% from October to December, but you also state that no miner will ROI. Please explain me how do you expect a rise in difficulty with 80% while everyone is complaining that there are no more money to be made in mining.
1830  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 19, 2014, 05:28:16 AM
how much per month will these make in nov/dec? looks like .064 btc in oct at current $449 price thats less than hosting cost. .14 in nov = $63. figures at 15% diff increase, tomorrow looks to be 19% and spondoolies have yet to ship most of the august batch. bigger increases to come. Looks like roadstress is the only one who will not lose thousands on that group buy.

pre orders always seem to be a sure looser

Please explain better the 0.064 btc in oct and 0.14 in nov. Per day? Per month?

I haven't participated in the GB because I was out of money. I hope to participate in a Oct/Nov GB.

1832  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Best miner for large operations? on: August 18, 2014, 09:07:12 PM
The topic says it all pretty much. What is the best SHA-256 miner to use in large operations? For example: a cloud mining service.

Definitely Spondoolies Tech SP30. 4.5Th/s in a 2U case with 2 server grade power supplies.

Might want to disclose the sllightly biased opinion.

Isn't it obvious with my affiliated signature?

Isn't this a good time for a massive buy from SecondMarket?
1835  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Double Whammy on: August 18, 2014, 06:54:04 PM
Ouch!

Difficulty will take a huge jump up tomorrow and the price of Bitcoin is down.  Is ANYONE making money in mining today?  I suspect nearly everyone is running a negative now.  What can possibly turn this around?

If you are thinking of getting into mining, you are crazy dumb and love to lose money.

Thank you Spondoolies Tech for helping me earn more BTC/day today than I did 11 months ago despite the huge difficulty difference!
1836  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Bitmaintech's Antminer S3+ vs. Spondoolies-Tech's SP30 Yukon on: August 18, 2014, 06:52:45 PM
Tell that to psahx.....

Oh

Hard-reset brought my SP10 back to life. Thanks Collider and Zvisha for help.

Ok. A single type of problem that was solved in no time with a hard reboot. For me the winner is already in my possession hashing nice and steady.
1837  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER Speculation Thread on: August 18, 2014, 06:19:47 PM
You were so confident back then too...  Cheesy

I still am. October batch will be 5.5Th/s.

Yeah, that was the point; "5.4".    Another pre-order promising to be delivered on time and if everything goes well, it might make ROI.   The pre-order aspect of it, plus the fact that the world is beginning to boycott Israeli products - makes the spoondoolie miners your selling not as appealing as people thought they were just a few months back!

September batch is sold-out. Can't say the same about the tubes...
1838  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER Speculation Thread on: August 18, 2014, 01:56:32 PM
What if there is no div, and BTC value falls... and AM value also falls... would that count as a negative proving you wrong?  I suppose not because it would not be a dividend.... but as every day passes it looks to be closer and closer to what may happen.

There should be some divs considering that AM is mining for 1 month now, but it seems that the hashrate isn't big enough. Personally I don't think we will see divs in September either.

Oh boy, should I click that link in your sig for that promised 5.4 TH/s miner instead? Oh wait...  Cheesy

Re-read again my sig. I don't see any 5.4TH/s there. Tard

Not at all.  I didn't delete all the posts I was credited for.  I keep saying this.  Perhaps you forget how bad the last thread was with the trolling?

I do admit it felt good deleting the trolls.  Yes there was the occasional blue on blue incident and the trigger finger got a little too twitchy from time to time, but it wasn't all me although I clearly had my part to play.  On the whole, I maintain, the ActM Thread was a success as the quality posts that were not deleted were not buried under 20 pages of childish meme nonsense.

Trolling that maybe stopped people sending more money to the scammer ken slaughter. Your post deleting didn't create anything constructive. You only eased the way of kslaughter to steal the money.

I wanted to know if anyone here knows about the pricing for bulk quantity. What are the minimum amount for it to be considered as 'bulk'.

E-mail sales@

Show me a single SP30 which is producing 5.5 - 6.5 TH

After you will show me one that is doing 4.2TH!
