Power efficient ? Really ?

0,57 J/GH - KNC Neptune - 1950 watts at 3400 GH/s (reported average)
0,62 J/GH - Bitfury BF3500 - 2200 watts, 3500 GH/s (stated, unconfirmed)
0,76 J/GH - Spondoolies SP30 - 3200 watts at 4200 GH/s (reported average)
0,77 J/GH - Antminer Bitmain S3 - 388 watts at 441 GH/s (reported average)
1,10 J/GH - Terraminer IV - 2200 watts @ 2000 GH/s (stated, unconfirmed)
1,20 J/GH - Avalon3 - 350 watts @ 290 GH/s (stated, unconfirmed)

Quoting lies from KnC tells me that you are not an intelligent person. You can't filter the information. Show me a single SP30 that is pulling 3200W from the wall please.

What if there is no div, and BTC value falls... and AM value also falls... would that count as a negative proving you wrong?  I suppose not because it would not be a dividend.... but as every day passes it looks to be closer and closer to what may happen.

There should be some divs considering that AM is mining for 1 month now, but it seems that the hashrate isn't big enough. Personally I don't think we will see divs in September either.
1843  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE - 1,150 TH/S HASH RATE (1GH/S per Unit) on: August 18, 2014, 11:35:29 AM
CryptX are burn in BTC world...remember who are they and don't ever let them do business in BTC world.

I thought that was obvious after the fiasco with selling bitfury's boards...

I don't give a twating fuck about history, reputation or any other shite that you think matters.  And stop asking silly questions!

he "sold" me a module from an Avalon which he doesnt have. DO NOT TRUST!!!

see what everyone else wrote and that's pretty much the deal

It sucks when you can't delete posts whenever you wish?
1845  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Should I buy a bitcoin miner? on: August 18, 2014, 08:50:35 AM
I dont want to to wait a long time to make money. I just want to make it faster.

You won't make money faster by posting 2 identical topics with different text colors!

Which chips are these the sha256 or the scrypt? pictures???

long con got long.

So mass production has started without a working prototype. Ok.
1847  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 18, 2014, 08:31:04 AM
Is there a number we can contact spondoolies tech on?
I had some trouble with my bank with overseas payment and finally got it done on Friday. But I e-mailed spondoolies and got no reply.

Friday and Saturday is week-end in Israel. Try sending another e-mail to sales@

sunday/monday arent - do 'weekend' mails get deleted somehow??

Ignoring the fact that only 2 hours and half have passed since Monday working day began maybe they have a big backlog of e-mails. Just a thought...

It doesn't matter what voltage you've got - you've got no machine to plug into that voltage.  Spondoolies didn't deliver.

Thank you Spondoolies Tech for helping me earn more BTC/day today than I did 11 months ago despite the huge difficulty difference!
1850  Economy / Securities / Re: 0.19 J/GH - CoinBau looks for investors in German mining technology on: August 16, 2014, 07:40:43 AM
Plus the fact that we already had promises from BITMINE.ch for a 0.3W/GH and we all know how that ended up.
1851  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: August 16, 2014, 07:36:53 AM
scr3u.ucr3trs don't you find weird that there are several new members that come here and post some HF related stuff without revealing their true identity and their affiliation? I find it very weird. It seems that all newbies are supporting the LB deal while the "veterans" are against it. Come on it's actually very obvious what is going on here.
1852  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Bitmaintech's Antminer S3+ vs. Spondoolies-Tech's SP30 Yukon on: August 16, 2014, 07:28:18 AM
Don't underestimate the hosting advantage, you will be charged for space as well as power and 10 S3's take up a lot of space which can more than make up the initial difference in hardware cost.

Most regular DCs will charge you for the space too. DCs that know how bitcoin works won't charge you for space. Only for power(hint: Advania).
1853  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: who is currently manufacturing miners? on: August 15, 2014, 03:44:50 PM
At the moment, who are making miners for sale

Rockminer
Bitmaintech

who else?

Spondoolies Tech.

Stay away from AMT and KnC!

It will be within August, right?

That for sure!

Any update finally for the gb shipping?

Not yet.
1856  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 15, 2014, 08:34:04 AM
My sp30 travelled from Israel to jtoomim´s WA hosting facility in only 2 days. (thank you Spond∞lies and FedEx)

A short review of my hosting experience so far can be found in the hardware hosting comparison thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=622998.msg8361310#msg8361310
Also: I was faster than you, RoadStress

I will compensate Collider  Cool

So you guys suggest http://toom.im/ for best solution for SP30?
What happened to the Iceland data center? Aren't you using this for SP10?

We are decentralizing!
1857  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Bitmaintech's Antminer S3+ vs. Spondoolies-Tech's SP30 Yukon on: August 15, 2014, 07:09:03 AM
Disaster Recovery
10 S3s, losing a unit only costs 10% of your overall hashing speed
1 SP30, losing a unit costs 100% of your overall hashing speed

Advantage: S3

This is wrong. SP30 is built using a modular design. The whole unit can't fail so that you loose 100% hashrate. Each chip is independently and also each PSU is independently. So you can fail either 1 or more chips or 1 or 2 PSUs (highly unlikely). Most frequent fails are in a chip or series of chips (SP10). One SP30 chip is around 5% of the hashrate so the advantage would be SP30 here.
1858  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 14, 2014, 02:56:53 PM
I've successfully migrated our SP30s over to our 258V supply. Performance is up.

Device ID     Hashrate (cgminer)      AC power usage     Top PSU lim (DC)Bot PSU lim     J/GH
Mine    4527 GH/s3024 W136213670.668
Wanna14476 GH/s2928 W134513510.654
Wanna24459 GH/s2960 W134413470.663
Wanna34470 GH/s2992 W134913490.669

Thank you for the review. It seems that the competition is spreading lies about SP30 power consumption.

How are people getting 3.4TH/s with the Neptune at 1950 watts of power?

0,76 J/GH - Spondoolies SP30 - 3200 watts at 4200 GH/s (reported average)

Please don't believe KnC's lies. Here is an independent report about SP30 power consumption:

Yep, it's it shall be. I've read a post from zvisha with the psu able to pull 1370W in 240V.
jimmothy keeps for me 3 sp30 + 1 for him. He's putting them on 258V at the moment. I bet more information soon. Smiley
