I was about to bet on Verstappen before the race but the odds before the race got from 1.23 to 1.57 and just one hour before the race 1.31 so I thought not worthy to bet on him,most likely the bookies as always tried to play their games on us,yet this time I was careful and did not fell for it.
In the first sequence, with everyone on the middle tyre, verstappen couldn't overtake his main rivals, he couldn't make up the difference, and despite this, mercedes and mclaren made the ridiculous decision to go for the hard one and finish with a single pit. Hamilton was 5 seconds off the pace when he extended the first sequence, similarly norris was unnecessarily behind when he extended the second sequence. Verstappen and redbull got a free win in a week when they would have struggled. Not only them but also the Ferraris lost the most out of this race as they started with Leclerc in pole position and as funny as it is it looks like he switched place with Verstappen as Verstappen got 1st from starting 6th making another rule get off the board in this track as before only guys starting from the front row have won before while Leclerc ended in 6th position after a bad decision to go with a single stop meanwhile they at Ferrari saw what happened to Hamilton and Norris who were posed to have the same strategy and then changed because it was not sustainable. |

The race is interesting as it looked like Verstappen could not win yet he is leading the race but on a different strategy as Norris with Hamilton will go to the end Verstappen has a mandatory pit stop to make because it is mandatory in this race to use at least 2 type of tires as a rule.So it is interesting because Versappen cannot create an enough big of a gap so he can go for the last stop and use the soft tires which are not recommended at all by Pirelli for this track because of the huge consumption they provide and you will use them only for 8-9 laps at best in here.It is a couple of laps that Norris is less than 1 second behind Verstappen which has another stop to do while Norris can go till the end,so it will be an interesting end of this race,most likely Verstappen won't win.

Hamilton must have been excited for a short time while he was in Verstappen's DRS. But it didn't take Verstappen a long time to open the gap a lot. It was an ordinary sprint race for Verstappen in which he was again comfortable. Hamilton at least got one more point by hunting Leclerc at the first times of the sprint race. I still think Ferrari did good in the sprint last night. At least they both got important points for their team. You know Ferrari still have a chance to capture the second position in the constructor standings. They need to do better than Mercedes in the remaining time period of the season. The only thing which would make the race beautiful tonight would be if Leclerc manages to create a gap with the others and Verstappen is a bit stuck against the other drivers in the few first laps of the race,this would give Leclerc and Ferrari enough time to think about some good strategy to maximize the race for them and of course when I say about strategy I am not talking about the big errors Ferrari garage makes but a real good one. Verstappen said though it was a fine margin in the end of the Sprint so he knows very well he has a lot of chances to win the race and he will take it slow in the beginning,it is exactly here that the guys in front especially Leclerc should start pulling away. |

I said that it was quite one-sided against Besiktas but Galatasaray were still unable to find goals comfortably. Their wasting so many chances made me worried about their next Champions League match. If they continue to show the same performance then a bad loss looks inevitable. Because you need to be as efficient as possible against one of the best European teams like Bayern Munich. Girona game who would have thought to see like 5 goals only in the first half,I thought Girona should have no problems winning against last place in the standings and I never thought they would allow more than one goal conceded as the worse case ever yet they conceded 2 goals with only 45 minutes of the game played.They showed great character though Girona turning things around already in the first half when in the 24th minute they were down 2 goals and they managed to score 3 goals in just 10 minutes,I think they are going to crush even further Almeria who honestly has not showed anything for good during all this La Liga season.

Arsenal should have won the Premier League match against Chelsea. All the discussions I have seen on Chelsea vs Arsenal before the match started have put Arsenal ahead but unfortunately Arsenal could not win this match even though they collected a point in this match. Arsenal have a match against Sevilla in the Champions League a few days later, a much needed win against Chelsea before the match against Sevilla in the Champions League. If Arsenal perform the way they did against Chelsea against Sevilla then I'm sure they won't get full points in their Champions League match. Arsenal must be ready for the Champions League match with a few days to go. The manager will also have to focus on how to improve the performance as the match against Sevilla is very important for Arsenal.
I will not link the matches in the domestic league and UCL for the two teams, if you look at the domestic matches of course Arsenal experienced bad results and Sevilla achieved satisfactory results even though both of them drew, Arsenal drew against Chelsea and Sevilla drew against Real Madrid. However, in the UCL match I think it will be different, Arsenal and Sevilla are the same high school teams that will be very ambitious to win the match but we can only speculate realistically and I cannot deny that Arsenal's quality is currently much better so they do have a greater percentage to be able to win the match.
