I have been just once when I was in Italy and had a vacation with the Costa Crociere (ship vacation company) they had a simple casino there with not many games at least simple to me I don't know what someone will call a casino full of slot machines with many times the same slot and a couple of roulette tables is what I remember,they had surely a lower bet than 20 in slot machines while they had about 10 EUR as a minimum roll on the roulette. The experience is a good one to have a good time while you are having a vacation but those casino do not give you the same experience of a land based casino,a big one land based casino or an online casino,they are just for fun to enjoy a good time while on vacation but rarely I have heard someone to have hit it big in a ship casino. |

It seems we have a new little upgrade on the website. They changed the Free Roll button appearance to "Multiply BTC" whenever you are done rolling your free roll. That is a nice way to divert the users to immediately bet with the earned free sats. I have recently gone down a bit in the multiply section because I lost a lot recently. My current eligible bonus is around 6429 satoshi. I am not sure if I should use it or not. The last time I used it, I exhausted all of my balance. Though I got 1 GT in return but anyways that is not my goal yet. The current focus is only, on price predictions, FUN accumulation, and WOF accumulation. How about other members? I think only a wallet of Satoshi doesn't require a minimum amount to open a channel. Meaning it is ready to use if you install the wallet of Satoshi you can use it to receive BTC from NiceHash.
The wallet looks like an open-source wallet the only problem is it requires email to make a cloud backup. That's a bit risky than opening your own channel on Electrim.
I am never a big fan of smartphone wallets and Satoshi wallet looks like there is only for iOS or Android which of course I have no intention of getting,I use Linux and only keep my crypto in Linux wallets.I believe to be using Electrum now when the time comes and if I feel like it,0.002 Bitcoin to start a channel is a bit of an expensive price for me and I have another question now,is that money there to be left there in order to receive payments or I can use it and it is needed only to open the channel cause if it is this last option then it is more of a reasonable amount. |

So after many years of hearing it I need to use it as in Nicehash mining the Lightning Network wallets can receive mining as a minimum from 0.00000001 Bitcoin and not like the normal 0.0005 Bitcoin which is quite a lot for my mining power at only 0.30 dollars a day or 0.27 Millibitcoin.
Electrum wants some money to open it at a minimum of 200.000 Satoshi to open a Channel,at least version 4.2.1 which I am using,is there any other wallet which can transact in the Lightning Network with less than this amount or I should add 200.000 Satoshi in Electrum and start receiving payments there?

I watched Putin’s speech this morning and am surprised with the Wagner mutiny situation. I did not see that coming. I wonder if anyone did. It seems like this war has gone far better than expected for Ukraine. More recently though it appears that this situation may end peacefully for Russia with Wagner reportedly no longer moving towards Moscow, which may swing the war back in their favor.
It is only natural and that coincided with advance of Ukrainian troops in territories that were since 2014 under Donetsk People Republic command.The coup I find it very stupid from Prigozhin to not continue it as he found Moscow government totally unprepared for such offensive,it shows how weak is Russia and how easily tanks can enter their territory if they want and this is of course really bad for Putin regime,anyone now who want to try his luck against Kremlin can do so as the Kremlin not punishing Prigozhin put a really dangerous precedent. |

Does anyone have any opinions on whether we should stick with top 20 payouts or maybe just do 10-15 max? Obviously it's nice for more people to win something but the 10+ places are often just your money back or a little bit more. Bigger prizes for the top ten also makes it more exciting. With the freebets for each weekly round winner there's still always something to play for anyway.
I'd say 20 payout positions is way too many, even though I enjoyed such a privilege last season, but it wasn't that much because it was only equivalent to the sign up fees. I'd suggest 10 payout slots or max 15 with a better payment plan to attract new members and also to motivate old members to make it extremely competitive. I of course agree with 20 places payout if we manage to get over 60 participants as I think the last pool was a huge success in terms of participant,in fact it was the best season so far and not only in my personal opinion also that of many other players. The more prize spots we have the higher the desire of people who would want to join the pool,I am predicting a near 100 participants pool this year although I know this is a fairly optimistic prediction for the 2023/2024 season. |

I wonder if presidents like Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Franklin D. Roosevelt, or Theodore Roosevelt would be popular in 2024. The United States is a completely different place these days compared to when they were presidents. Now everything is different in the global place we live in,the world now is just but a big global country and of course the politics being conducted nowadays are much different compared to those presidents mentioned here which are indeed the best ones in US history. Austria track is normally a quite short one normally but rain can extend lap times quite much for certain. But not even heavy rain can be enough to stop Verstappen from winning this race that easy of course. In the past we were talking about Hamilton's being a wonderful driver under rain.
But now after entering this new era in the sport Verstappen has started to put on a great show thanks to having the fastest car on the grid also. I would love to see Hamilton getting faster in time and reaching the level to be able to compete with Verstappen again. But I guess we will still need to wait for that to happen for a long time.
I am afraid that won't happen.The reason being a simple one,the age difference,no matter how great of a driver Hamilton maybe his time has passed now and I doubt if he can win another Championship even when he will have a Mercedes able to compare with Redbull,I don't see any great personal performance from him with Mercedes and if he is the 7 times World Champion he should surely do a great performance,I am not saying winning the race but to make some nice overtaking that his experience can do. Having said that I think this season is already over as Perez is the most mediocre driver on the grid for me having the same car as Verstappen and struggling to at least be second,he is far from being second so Verstappen is already Champion this year and we should wait next season to see if any team is able to match Redbull pace,for this season we can already forget about such happenings. @swogerino I felt that Hamilton could have retired at his peak as the most successful driver but instead he decides to stay back and continued losing his title one that he easily use to win few year’s ago. Furthermore unless Mercedes can fix their issues overnight which we all know won’t happen I doubt that he’ll win and it’s such a shame that after such a legendary career he’s in such a low spot. That is exactly what I meant as it is a shame for him to continue with Mercedes and if the possibility opens for him at Ferrari I would take the opportunity as I am sure Ferrari has more chances of bringing a good car back for the next season than Mercedes does,at Ferrari they either make it or break it while at Mercedes they bring upgrades and fine tune the car to a certain level but not at the level of consistently winning races while Ferrari did so in the beginning of last season where they won some races.He should definitely move out of Mercedes as soon as the possibility unfolds. |
