1861  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — 1st licensed crypto casino 🥇 Change the way you play 🚀 on: April 25, 2022, 10:19:10 AM
I’m the most bullish person you will find but short term the direction is not up for bitcoin. The next halving is mid 2024, realistically we are not going to see ATH’s until after the halving, with the obvious reason being the reduction in supply of newly mined coins which strangles the amount of coins available to buy, obviously there’s then a supply shock & we moon.

So to get back on topic, now is a perfect time to gamble with crypto because you are not going to miss out on massive gains. You can spend some of your bitcoin gambling without the risk of massive upside.
We can speculate to some extent but bitcoin has history of surprising us many times like the sudden pumps during pandemic putting the price barrier above $10k to going to it's ATH around $69k and market cap breaching nearly $1.5 Trillion was amazing journey for all of us but then there were some changes and PlanB prediction failed of $100k and it seems to me that we can cross $50k with resistance from retail and institutional investors. The exchange volumes are also going down as people move their funds and miners also holding their rewards in hope to gain more long term profits.Short term there could be many fluctuations but long run it tends to rise.

Yes the thing is most newbie don't care to explore the forum functionality like the search function which is really useful for them but that's also fine because we can't expect perfection from them in the start only and with time they can explore these useful topics and help them.

Hola, soy nuevo en el foro.
Muchas gracias por subir este contenido.
Welcome to the forum but you seem to be spanish member so if you want to post in your local board you can have discussion in Spanish board as this one is main board and have all the post and thread in English.

how can i insert an image to my topic?
Congratulations you can now post images without paying for the Copper Membership as you are junior member now so go ahead and post images on the forum but also check for some guides for the same beforehand.
1863  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Stay away from coinsbit on: April 25, 2022, 09:54:53 AM
Avoid Coinsbit exchange at all cost, this exchange sucks too bad that to pass KYC you need to send PM to their email address, also I withdraw ETH from the exchange and its been over 48hrs I never received my ETH, I wrote another PM to their email address but they claimed it's under processing, still got nothing, I'm mad at myself and sad at the same time I'm just trying to safe another victim.
Actually you should avoid all these CEX that act as Central custodian of your funds and can block your withdrawal request anytime or make it delayed like in your case and you can do nothing.Have not personally used coinsbit but some of reviews tell the exact scenarios there and are facing the same problem as yours. So it's better if you get your withdrawal after the given time limit also and then move your funds to non custodian wallet in the first phase.

Coinsbit has very low processing time for withdrawal request. From my experience, it takes up to a few days with several rejection. Eventually, my withdrawal request was approved and proceeded by Coinsbit. However, it was done after I created support ticket on website and pinged their team on Telegram.
The thing is when you withdrawal is stuck you need to raise tickets and ask for help from the support which is only automated bot telling you to wait for another time period and you feel frustrated at the end and the team won't help you.As you are also saying the withdrawal were rejected without any major explanation and see those were your funds so what's the difference between these centralised exchanges and government who can also keep track on you with you KYC documents also? Better leave them.

I have never used Coinsbit and I am curious to know what is the withdrawal fee compared to other exchanges? High or low? I'm trying to see if there are benefits to taking so long to withdraw funds. Although it seems to me that no compensation is worth the time and effort spent in order to persuade Coinsbit to return your money to you.
The transaction fees is 0.2% for them while deposit and withdrawal fees depends on the coin. But if you want to have better comparison then you can check this : withdrawal fees and as you can see for bitcoin it's around $19 and that's not too low.

Not that the “Where WO” must be played only from fancy, exotic locations.

You can also play from DUKE NUKEM levels!

Wherever this place is i would recommend all of you not to search for it on the Google based on the hotel name you are seeing in this picture because the results could be dangerous and the blue words you are seeing are right  Grin

You have stayed in the naughty place man Grin
1865  Other / Meta / Re: Bumping old threads and spamming on: April 24, 2022, 11:56:25 AM
When I checked before making this thread if I remember then they had 6 or 7 posts so obviously mods deleted them and probably they are banned. About the name, I think it's someone who is over enthusiasts over some user and got excited to chose that username.
Yeah when you first mentioned about this user i jumped in to check his post but they were all gone as they have deleted by the moderator on your report and other posts he might have deleted himself because as per his bpip report this is his post stats :

But as the user has been nuked we didn't need to pay much attention to him now and keep the forum more better place by scrapping out these things.

First, I was surprised that Congratulations Ratimov is a user and not a thread. I quickly clicked the link and noticed that the user has zero post and activity, maybe he deleted his posts.
My first glance was also same but when i learnt he is registered member on the forum then speaking seriously not much of surprises because many newbies will try to gain attention with registering with such names.

Finally, is there no kind of sensors to determine names that can be registered or not. And if the name is eventually registered and it's proven to be impersonation of an established member, can the account be banned.
I mean someone can just create an account  with "KingsDen's alt", if I deny that it's my account, I think the user needs to be banned.
No i don't think so because as far as i remember there was one person who was trying to registered with name of Satoshi but was not able to do so as there must be some keywords restrictions while making an account on the forum so you can see some safety also but our username can be copied but that doesn't imply it's your alt as lot of valid proofs will be required which other person can't have.

1867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: “A single bitcoin transaction could power the average US household for a month" on: April 24, 2022, 11:00:06 AM
Again this energy consumption issue being raised without any basis and each time they come up with this bullishit they start making weird comparison like this time average household consumption for month.

Why in the hell they always have the issue with it? The answer is they fear it and don't want people to have belief over it because it can end up their false monopoly in existence from hundreds of years and they can loose control of the financial system from their hands and spit out these bullshit things.

Ok, How many Fileserver/switches/routers/computers/printers/Airconitioners have to run in secure Server rooms to run the 1000s of Banks in the World? Do they calculate the energy used to run the Fiat Banking system?
It's usually more than bitcoin mining so transaction is not even minute part of it but they don't care about it because they are circulating and lending people fiat the legal tender of their country but even btc usage with renewable resources hurt them

Here is an data illustrating this energy consumption of banking system, gold and bitcoin mining and you can have the results in front of you clearly :

There are on average hundred thousand of banks running in the US only and their energy consumption is too high emitting carbons in the air from these Air conditioner but that doesn't affect the environment.

The whole world combined usage is much more and bitcoin is Just fraction of it and if something that is capable of providing fund ownership with decentralised control then it's worth it :

So whatever they say you don't need to trust them and keep holding your coins and stay strong..

@OP appreciate your efforts for collecting and combining these courses in tabular form but as said above try to make it big for quote boxes so it's nicely submitted or reduce the text in it.

Will try to look out some of them whenever i get time and enroll myself for the same as well and learn some new things from them which could help me in future. So keep it up and it's good to see that you have taken out time and have made efforts for it as you are still trying it so best wishes to you for the same.

Probably consider the free courses on Saylor’s website (something something Saylor academy or whatever) as well. Haven’t taken them personally but I’ve heard good things about it.

Couldn’t link it as I’m on mobile so dyor.
Yeah it's also good for having bitcoin and other crypto related courses from experience tutors with full details on each topic.

You are right it's Saylor Academy and they also offers various courses like this one for bitcoin related : https://learn.saylor.org/course/PRDV151
1870  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: We are not safe with centralize exchanges, know this and get peace on: April 24, 2022, 10:00:57 AM
Anything you see centralization, there are pretty much the same risks involved. It doesn't matter if it is an exchange or any other service like that. They always comply with the governments and won't need that much pressure either, as long as the simplest request comes they jump to obey. As I said this is not just for CEX either, we saw how the privacy oriented tool called Wasabi wallet obeyed and started censoring transactions in their CoinJoin coordinator!
They will always comply with the regulation of the government because they know if they don't certain restrictions will be imposed on them and hurdles will be passed on with their system. But more importantly they also don't care about users as they have setup these CEX for primary motives of profit and it doesn't matter if comes at the cost of privacy of the users.

The things is there is no privacy at the first part due to all the kYc norms and then more and more documentation depending on the withdrawal so they acts same like central banks agencies who are sensoring you for each and every transaction.Recently we have seen Binance also restricting Russian users to trade/deposit above €10k under the EU sanction and they have clearly stated they will work in accordance with the government.

Now this selling of users data came as of no surprise to me seeing the past working of these centralised exchange.According to me having your funds over CEX is similar to like giving someone access to your lockers having your funds and they can anytime go rogue or be hacked. So be safe from them.

I would hardly call censorship a "pro". Sure, they may use that power to seize some hacked coins, but they also use it to seize coins that governments tell them to, that trigger one of their arbitrary algorithms, that they deem to be too risky, sometimes entirely by mistake, and so on. If they can censor someone else, then they can censor you. If they can steal other people's coins, then they can steal your coins.
They are government puppets and can track any transaction and block the funds if they wish to do so as they already possess the keys for them so actually they own the funds on your behalf which is far more risky than you could imagine.

I trust Binance
This over self belief on them could be dangerous and you sound like one of their team members defending them on security issues but have some research man.

I mean, they've already been hacked for thousands of their customers' KYC data and then lied about it. So that's just not true.
Yes that's the case people ignore these things because they are running successfully and leading in the industry but that doesn't protect them from hacks and the funds gone will be of users not owners.

Quote
Hackers stole 7,000 bitcoin from major cryptocurrency exchange Binance, the platform said.

And speaking of KYC you don't know how your documents are being exploited by them as we have already heard about data being sold on dark web which you never know and the risk lies on your end.The facts don't lie.

so what I'm saying in essence is that binance have high security data like apple industry, it's hard before apple release their customers data for you, because it's very obvious that if they do, it will lead to elimination of their platform or degradation of their exchange.
These exchange needs to be equipped with latest technology but the problem again lies with the centralised control and how can you blindly trust them?

See this is their security model architecture :

Quote
The exchange architecture includes CCSS and ISO/ICO_27001:2013 security protocols. For account security, the platform offers users the option to activate Google Authenticator and 2FA to verify withdrawals and security modifications.

But do you think it's hard for hackers to crack these and have access of your funds. The only thing is they can track it but you know hackers are also smart. So why put yourself in such situations in the first end?
You have no idea how good or bad their security is. It has been breached many times in the past, resulting in both stolen coins and stolen data.

What most important thing here is Rollbit already take some action regarding on his claims and this will feed up their users with positive inputs towards this casino since imagine this we see so many casino who fail to solve the same issue like this as they turn scam. But for what Rollbit showing it show to other scam casinos that they are legitimate and a platform that can people trust.
Rollbit must be processing big withdrawal amount also and the scene is they need to verify the wager and other things accurately in order to proceed further and let the users withdraw the amount. They are legitimate casino and they will not stuck any such transactions as we have seen the amount is already released.

Was missing this thread from some time but now back with another one of the nice merit record to save it here for the future reference.

This time it's once again for the Discovery of the year @n0nce who is now member of 2k merit club with his effective and useful contributions to the forum in such short span of time:

Congratulations to him and was able to save it on time for him giving him the last required merit as his merit speed is usually also fast.He is now heading towards further merit stations on his bullet train Wink

The 10k merit table has been once again updated with the past 14 days progress report of the members and @o_e_l_e_o seems unstoppable and has also become the member with most earned merit on the forum as well so congratulations to him for the same. And he has left with only 117 merits to reach 10k merit mark after @LoyceV and become second one but first one with most number of merits.Seems i need to delete his name from this list soon  Wink

I am flattered by the amount of merits my fellow opponent can rack in a so short amount of time. The race to 10K has already a winner, but I will try to give my best for the runner up (I.e., third) position.
It’s only I have a life that constantly requires my attention!
I am really happy looking at your level of dedication for this race and your work speaks itself like you are chasing hand to hand in this race and constantly on second number with most merits and beleive me you can easily finish on the second position if @theymos keep this shadow posts and earn little merits as most of his recent one came from the April fool's day IQ plan.So you could overtake him as there is difference of 490 merits which seems big but not for you if we have look at your merit speed. So hope for the best and you are doing great man.

1875  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — 1st licensed crypto casino 🥇 Change the way you play 🚀 on: April 22, 2022, 10:01:20 AM

Yes, before that happens, it's better to move most of the coins we have on the exchange to another wallet that we can control without any interference from the exchange. No one knows who owns the coins that have moved the coins to other wallets. But hopefully, there are no new regulations that can make the owners of coins on the exchange will find it difficult to do so.
Trusting an centralised exchange is the first step of losing your funds because they will always come up with new things and restrictions to block you from accessing your funds so it's better to move them to non custodial wallets having ownership of your funds.

While my prediction still is there, bitcoin is approaching $42k today, touching the price of $41,800. If this continues, there is a possibility the price will break through to $42k and we can expect to make more profits.
The price and volatility of bitcoin has become unpredictable at the moment and we seems to stuck at this $40k range with swing going back and forth coming back to $40k again which makes me frustrated sometimes. But still hope it goes some high if some positive major news comes out in support of it.

Hello, RollBit do not wan't to withdraw my 32 BTC and saying "THERE IS NO ETA" over 19hrs.
And, to all, my KYC is approved on rollbit.

UPDATE: Solved, received the money all ok, 31.96860000 BTC.
But still sad about situation and idk should i play there anymore, hope they will solve all problems with payments.
That's good that your 32 bitcoins withdrawal is approved by Rollbit and see there are some procedures which casino need to undergo before making such payments as 32 bitcoins are worth $1.2 million so you see little lag in this. But now you have already received the payment with fees being processed. But what other problems you have faced that make you worry about playing there?
1877  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to upload image on Bitcointalk the easy way (Using imgbb) on: April 22, 2022, 09:23:32 AM
Although i appreciate your efforts @OP but there are many similar threads related to image uploading on the forum so you can avoid it by going on the search bar and check for them first of all.

Like this one : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3974517

There is one more thing like you can only readjust either image height or width and it will automatically adjusts it's size accordingly

Code:
 [img width=300]link[/img] or [img height=300] link [/img]

As we all know newbies can't post images on the forum and they need to be junior member or buy Copper Membership to bypass these restrictions.

I just use windows snipping tool and just Ctrl+V in imgur, https://imgur.com/upload

In windows 11 you can just click the button "Print Screen" on your keyboard and it will automatically open the snipping tool (if you choose to do so in settings).
I do it pretty fast. Smiley

That's also convenient method to do so like just snipping the image and that also helps to capture the images with SS restrictions on the page. You simply go on image hosting site like imgur and paste it there and then copy the BBcode here on the forum reply box area.

But as many users are also accessing forum from the mobile device going through this method is easy for them as you have to crop the image and then resize the images in the code according to your need.
1878  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Black List of crypto exchanges! (BANS and confiscation) on: April 22, 2022, 09:07:23 AM
New restrictions for Russian Binance users if they have over 10,000 euro worth of crypto deposited there.
They have implemented the EU sanctions over Russia amid the war crisis and have limited the Russian Binance user to deposit or trade over €10000 and they can only withdraw the amounts.Although if you are residing outside the Russia being it's citizens and Binance user you will have to verify your proof of address with them.

Quote
Russian nationals or natural persons residing in Russia, or legal entities established in Russia, with open Futures/Derivatives positions, and who have crypto account balances that exceed 10,000 EUR will be given 90 days to close out their positions. No new positions will be allowed to be added.

Russia is also having lot of crypto users and Binance base is strong there but according to one Bloomberg article most users are having less than €10000

Quote
Russia is one of Binance’s top five markets globally with about 10 million total accounts, two people familiar with the matter said. It’s estimated that fewer than 50,000 actually hold a value exceeding 10,000 euros, one of the people said.

People need to realize that centralized exchanges are fiat institutions which happen to interact with bitcoin, and not a bitcoin service which happens to also handle some fiat. As fiat institutions, they are an extension of the fiat system and, by proxy, an extension of the government which owns and operates that fiat system. Any coins left on a fiat exchange are not yours. If you hold your bitcoin on an exchange, then you don't own any bitcoin. All you own is a promise; a promise that can be revoked without warning and at any time.
That's the thing people are not realising the risk associated with storing your coins on these centralised platforms which act as central authoritative chain asking for full documentation and KYC from you first of all then can restrict you from making transactions with your funds only. They already are in possession of your keys and having third party outsourcing for saving the data whose data can be compromised anytime and hacks happen this way stealing whole lot of funds and you can't do anything as you have agreed to their T&C beforehand.

Calling them fiat extension chain is absolutely correct because they are acting same like them or even worse with your keys lying with them giving them full ownership of your funds. These restrictions are not new and recently we have seen Coinbase also imposing restrictions for Canada users for transactions worth $1000 above only and have to fill out the recipient extra details like exposing yourself full to them.

I discussed this a few weeks ago here: Recent events should make everyone withdraw all their coins to their own wallets. If this kind of thing isn't a wake up call to everyone to get your coins in to your own wallet, then I don't know what will be, and you really have no one left to blame when you lose everything to another centralized exchanges restricting or locking your account.
The problem is people are not waking up to these alarming calls which is why CZ,Brian and others have climbed up to the Forbes list with billions dollars of networth in such short time span. You need to have your funds in hardware wallets with keys on offline storage with backup so as your fund lies with you and security perspective remains uncompromised.

You forget initial merit airdrop for existing user which also drop some sMerit depending on their rank or how active they are. While i don't remember the exact drop number, it's unlikely he's merit source since he only send 57 merit so far.
Thanks for clarification as i was missing the airdrop smerit part and this could be the only way he has managed to send those merits while earning only 11 of them till date.

Unfortunately, that's what I do. I've given up on reading the shitposts of many red-trusted accounts that are spamming, so I just hit Ignore on all accounts wearing the scam signature. As long as the forum allows them, and they're tagged already, it's not worth my time to read those posts.
That's what most of us think because you need to report their most of the post as they are writing nonsense and useless two to three lines crap stuff just in order to earn weekly payments from this scam campaign. All the participants of this campaign has negative trust and red tags for promotion of scam campaign on the forum and best is to ignore them at most rather than wasting time on them.

Seems like I was mistaken a bit, the campaign has suddenly reopened, I've been watching only one topic and I didn't realize they have two of them.
Yeah as i didn't give importance to this campaign thread but after your post i went to check about it and found out that in thread the campaign was over and members in the spreadsheet were paid on November 19,2021.The below is the quote from manger of the campaign :

Quote

Hello guys!

It seems like this campaign closure is still a debatable topic, and we decided to not leave our users unsatisfied and clear the suspicions - the last week of the campaign will be paid out in full.

Who will receive the payment?
Everyone who was in the spreadsheet on the previous week(21). New participants weren't accepted for a few weeks, so if you didn't leave the campaign yourself before the week 21 - you will get the payment.

Hope it will help to lift hard feelings. And don't forget about our other campaigns

But in another thread they have re-opened the campaign and two days before only members were applying for the campaign. So they are having the same spam posting on the forum again.

But, the whole thing is fishy, is there any campaign that has such an amount of accounts that have clearly changed hands and accepted them and paid them despite negative feedback? Look at the behavior of the accounts, they all defend their sponsor going beyond what's normal, you won't see that with any other normal users, and in no way you're going to see the accusations they hurl at others, it's simply a completely different behavior. Plus, a lot of them were getting tagged yet they've never been to meta or reputation to ask why or plea for removal, why would somebody risk an account for a few weeks of signature money that might be over tomorrow?
This is most fishy campaign on the forum and you must have seen all the members with red tags and account hacked and other bad things association with their members. But yes there are few shitposters who doesn't care about having as many negative feedbacks on their profile if they are getting paid for it through this campaign. The two things of this campaign which made them cross limits is money like highest payout for legendary is $100/weekly in new one previous $140 and you can be accepted in their campaign if you have negative feedback for joining their campaign also.So nothing surprising in this because all those who have joined are shitposter and if they are getting paid for it they don't care for long term forum growth and even if the campaign ends.

As for the addresses, this needs to be looked on by somebody with much more experience than me with blockchain analysis but last year when I've been browsing through their addresses I've seen a lot of really weird things, too many of those go through tumblers, and I don't see users who can barely write down a phrase longer than 6 words being able to mix their coins this way.
That is something new for me as didn't know about it because have never checked it on the blockchain but going through tumbler services is another one of their weird things.I also think that most of the accounts are owned by the team only as why would they be paying to people high rates without getting much users from this forum and having negative feedback.
