1881  Other / Off-topic / Re: Two types of Bitcoiners, Which are you? on: October 23, 2016, 11:43:49 AM
Type 1, "I cant wait for the price of Bitcoin to rise so I can buy a new Lamborghini with my Bitcoin."

Type 2
, "I cant wait for the price of Bitcoin to rise so I can sell my bitcoin and buy a new Lamborghini."

(Just want to clarify that the car isn't important in these two statements, but rather the Spend VS Sell)
I guess most of us are belongs to the second type. There's not that much establishments and people that accepts bitcoin as a payment, not just Lamborghini sellers but also other types of product as well. We all have to convert our bitcoin into fiat first before we can buy something. Sure there are some people that accepts bitcoin as payment but they're quite hard to find.
1882  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is Yobit scam? on: October 23, 2016, 11:20:54 AM
Ive been seeing alot of people saying its scam and then other people saying its not.
So before i want to deposit anything to this exchange i want to know is it real do withdrawls work or does it take like really really long?
Please tell your experience,

Kind regards
It's not a scam. If ever it scams someone or have a major issue, you can look at YoBit's account in this forum. It's safe to use right now but there are people complaining about not receiving their deposit mostly. Maybe it's just some bugs in the website, every website has a bug. The actual problem is that their support doesn't answer most of the time so they come in this forum about YoBit being a scam.
1883  Economy / Economics / Re: How many BTC will make you a fiat millionaire in 5 years? on: October 23, 2016, 07:40:44 AM
I think in 5 years, the price of bitcoin would be more than 1000$ or atleast about to reach 1000$. So you have to own 1000BTC to be a fiat millionaire. 1000BTC x 1000$/BTC = 1,000,000$. My assumption might be the worst case scenario. There's also the best case scenario wherein people have embraced the concept of bitcoin, dumped their fiat, and that made the price of bitcoin pump. All of those can happen in 5 years. It's a possibility but it's very unlikely.
1884  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price! really dude? on: October 23, 2016, 06:24:04 AM
700 900 3k 4k lol al that speculation

I don't think it will ever hit 3k but 1k 2017/2018 is possible
I read this thread and I thought it was a new one. I said I'd check it out because I haven't been in this board lately. I was so shocked that the price is now almost 660$. We're reaching that 700$ of yours really quickly. Last time I checked it was just 630$ range and it increased 30$ in just a couple of days. The price of bitcoin will increase after a couple of years. If you want to reach that price ranges, then you'd have to wait for years.
1885  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the economy situation in your country that bad? on: October 23, 2016, 06:05:12 AM
I think the economy of my country has been good then bad and now it's starting to recover again. We have our new president now, and I guess he's actually doing a good job recovering the damages that the past corrupt government has done. Back then, we had this strict president. He's the one who did that martial law in my country -- the Philippines. He's strict but he did a great job making the economy of our country great. Today, the new president is just like him. He's strict as well when it comes to the law, and he's making a great job making the economy better.
1886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which currency is bitcoin cheapest in? on: October 23, 2016, 05:57:54 AM
This is similar to thread that I've read from this forum months ago. The OP of that thread was asking in which country is gold the cheapest and that he was asking that to buy from a country that sells the lowest and then sell it to the country that buys the highest. One guy replied that even if there are differences with the price of the gold, if he were to travel into another country and sell it there, the transportation fee and all those stuffs will just be the same as the profit. Meaning, he'll not earn any money.

I think that can be applied here too. Even if there are small differences in the bitcoin's price in different currencies, you'll still not earn any profit doing it because of the exchange fee, transaction fee, etc.
1887  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: October 23, 2016, 05:46:15 AM
Customers will only use bitcoins in paying your service or buying your goods when they are already using it. When they are paying you in the cashier and you introduced bitcoin to them, of course they will not grab their phone and do research about it. They would simply say 'no' to you and then carry on to their day. If you're lucky and that customer happened to have a lot of spare time, then maybe the next time he comes to your shop, he already knows about bitcoin and use it as a payment.
1888  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: October 23, 2016, 05:26:12 AM
I think as long bitcoin can not be used freely around the world I think bitcoin can not be used for international currency
Entirely false. Your bitcoin wallet can be accessed with the help of the Internet. The majority of the places of the world has an Internet connection. Only uncivilized places don't have Internet. Most of us have a smartphone that can access the Internet as well. The bitcoin wallet can be accessed anywhere and you can also send whenever you want. You can send to people from abroad so I guess that's basically what makes it an international currency. Bitcoin can be converted into any local currencies.
1889  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why you should consider investing in bitcoin on: October 22, 2016, 12:36:59 PM
You should consider investing in bitcoin because you don't want to regret it later. There are people in here saying that they should've invested in bitcoins back then when it was just starting. Maybe they've found an article about bitcoin that includes all the inflation that bitcoin will have in the future and they didn't actually care about it. So now, they regret not investing in bitcoins. They should be millionaires by now if they put one or two hundred dollars as an investment in bitcoin before.
1890  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: How much bitcoins can you collect from faucets per day? on: October 22, 2016, 06:33:09 AM
To be honest, buying an autoclaim script for faucet sites wouldn't be worth it. Faucet sites have different interfaces although they share the very same concept. So I think it would require some actual not-so-easy programming codes. I don't think that someone can do 100 claims in faucet sites in a day.

Back then, I would try to use faucet sites and only do 5 of them because the sites load really really slowly for there's a lot of advertisements in faucet sites. I think an average guy can do 0.0001BTC - 0.0003BTC per day in faucet sites and hardcore users can do 0.0008BTC - 0.001BTC per day. That's a lot of effort to do. I don't think it's wise to burn all your energy into doing something like this that pays you really really small.
1891  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: October 22, 2016, 06:19:11 AM
I apologize for the delay of the update of the table lately. I know that most of you are waiting for me to update it. As we all know, I don't get paid to do so except for the occasional tip that Mitchell gives me which came from the advertiser.

We've made the other half of the payments for mBitCasino's campaign, and will be pausing until probably Monday when we will reveal the new structure, so it should be removed for now.

For the "new" campaign, would it be PNYC or A when it's started?
Would a campaign that has been CFNP for a while and is now Almost open, be considered a Flux campaign since the Flux is used for campaigns between open and closed and Bitmixer is definitely the other way around.
HCP's table update a while back had that "STOP" category and I just used that same category to place mBit and BitMixer.io (Both are paused at the moment). I renamed it to "PAUSED", though, because I thought that's a more accurate word to use. Those that are in "PAUSED" will be put to either "A" or "CFNP" once they resume their campaign.
1892  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Bitcoin even have a future? on: October 20, 2016, 02:23:31 PM
Bitcoin has this ability to increase over time. Just by that simple rule of supply and demand, the price of Bitcoin has increased gradually before. There's also the Bitcoin halving that somehow affects the price of Bitcoin. And there's the Bitcoin users that are affecting the people around them which makes the population of Bitcoin users grow. All of these stuffs that increases the price of Bitcoin needs time. So yes, I think bitcoin should have a future and it's even a beautiful future.
1893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: U like [btc]? U have to use a faucet. on: October 20, 2016, 02:06:52 PM
Not sure if this is some sort of low-key advertising the use of faucets since there's been quite shortage with that lately or OP was actually serious about this. But just because he's serious about this, doesn't mean this idea is real and not absurd.

Thinking of the owners of faucets, they don't actually have that much Bitcoins that is why they've made their own website, and put up a lot of advertisements in it. Those faucet owners doesn't have that much and that obviously mean that their faucet sites doesn't hold that much funds. There are even faucet sites that shows the current funds that is still available and most of them are either really really low on funds or is not enough to pay a faucet user.

Adding all those little funds that faucet sites hold, even if there's a lot of them, doesn't make a lot of Bitcoins. I feel that if faucets are all gone, we won't even notice it.
1894  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Safest way to sell bitcoins? on: October 20, 2016, 01:56:32 PM
Whenever you think of a certain kind of service, it's usually already available if you look it up online. In this case, OP is looking for a safe way to sell his/her Bitcoins. In that case, he can just use any trusted exchangers out there. That's what are exchangers for, the exchange a currency into another. The currency can be in crypto or fiat.

But if OP doesn't want to use exchangers for some reason, then he can go to currency exchange board of this forum and look for a trusted guy that does this.
1895  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why are we stuck in the $600 range for so long? on: October 20, 2016, 01:51:49 PM
We should be grateful that we're in the 600$ range and not anywhere below that price. No matter what's the price of Bitcoin, there would always be a thread like this saying something "Why are we stuck in the xxx$ range?". Threads like this doesn't help at all. The basic reason why there isn't any major pump lately is because there's not much people buying Bitcoins. Thus, if you want to change that range, then go ahead and look for rich people in real life who might be interested in investing in Bitcoins.
1896  Other / Off-topic / Re: How did you get into Bitcoin? on: October 20, 2016, 01:44:34 PM
I got into Bitcoins when people around my circle started to talk about it. I was always on money making facebook groups. There's a lot of ways how to make money. We were talking about apps and microtasks that are paying in Paypal and some people have started to explore the world of Bitcoins.

We all know about that but didn't want to do anything about it since we're already fine with what we're doing. The methods and the apps that we had never paid out anymore so we just continued going into Bitcoin.
1897  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ==== CCEX USERS BEWARE ==== on: October 19, 2016, 06:29:23 AM
Expect attacks when there's money involved. Hackers would hack those that have no 2FA in their accounts and have a very easy password. Change your password into something else and then use 2FA. There should be no problem afterwards. I don't think hackers would hack your phone specifically just to get your 2FA. If they were to do something like that, they'll do it in an account of a whale, not yours.
1898  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaign on: October 19, 2016, 06:02:30 AM
If a campaign accepted red trust members, they will lose their trust as well, and I have not watch any campaign accept them, there is a clear rule in every campaign in this forum which deny red trust members from joining, this forum have thousands of active members, and no need to accept red trust members, so it is better to solve your problem with the person who submitted a negative trust for you.
The Komodo signature campaign is accepting red trust members because they don't mind it at all since it doesn't affect the signature written below. But I guess red trust users shouldn't be allowed to join signature campaigns because it gives the company a bad name. Most signature campaigns kick out those who receive a red trust from a DT member immediately so they wouldn't share the bad reputation of that red trust member.
1899  Economy / Economics / Re: What will be our new world currency? on: October 19, 2016, 05:52:30 AM
For the following years, dollars would be the main currency but after people have adapt the computer age, we will start having more and more people that are interested in using Bitcoins. A lot of people wants to see a cashless world because the government is abusing the power of fiat money. I think in the far far future, Bitcoin will finally take over and all those useless paper money will just be part of our past.
1900  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: October 19, 2016, 05:47:27 AM
There's already a Bitcoin bank, it's your Bitcoin wallet. There's no point in trusting a bank company to store your Bitcoins. We have all the necessary stuffs to secure our Bitcoins. These "bitcoin banks" would just most probably run away after getting a lot of Bitcoins. I don't trust them.

There's nothing that a bitcoin bank can do that we can't do by ourselves. These Bitcoin banks will be using Blockchain and we can directly access Blockchain in our browsers, no need to use another service just to access something we already can.
