hahaha, PLOT TWIST

the US FED comes out with their OWN coin. FED coin, Fed coin wins.

Explain the point of a centralised decentralised coin?
1902  Other / Off-topic / Re: THE TRUTH on: February 21, 2014, 08:12:49 PM
sorry guys... I do feel bad.. hopefully btc will come back strong.

BTC is strong. That's why it's still running and has value.

It was a great time, we were doing absolutely nothing but fucking. It happened few times that we didn't eat for few days.

She doesn't want to talk to me and I will never know why Sad

Perhaps because you was too tight to buy her something to eat?
1904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Faster coin Myth put to bed once and for all on: February 21, 2014, 08:07:23 PM
if you do micro payments, wouldn't be is wise to have less security due to the lesser cost of loss. If a attack would happen there ?

Unconfirmed transactions would be fine in that example.
1905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Faster coin Myth put to bed once and for all on: February 21, 2014, 07:32:58 PM
faster confirm times mean just that ... faster confirm times.

At the cost of security.

That's me helping you believe in this thing.

No, let's put you this so called 'belief' really to the test.

You have a huge amount of Bitcoins stuck in iXcoins, but to your increasing frustration you cannot liquidate the iXcoins because no-one wants them, with no light at the end of the tunnel. Though you enjoy spinning the situation into looking like a good position the reality is quite different. Not somewhere I'd like to find myself.

The main problem with iXcoins is the premine. You can shout, scream and stamp your feet telling everyone it doesn't matter. But the reality is that it does. It mattered back in 2011 (hence the creation of i0coin), it matters now and it will matter 5 years from now. Time won't erode the problem.

An eye-watering 580,000 was premined because the original creator 'forgot' to announce the project. Unfortunately those first coins have been moved so a hard fork to invalidate them cannot be done.

The way I see it, you have a few options at your disposal. (Listed best option first.)

   1) Publicly destroy 580,000 of your own coins.

   2) Bury your head in the sand and pretend the premine doesn't matter. (Which it does.)

Can you now see your dire situation? In order to move iXcoin from stagnation, you must destroy most of your own coins. But the problem with that is you will destroy your own motivation to continue with iXcoin.
Your stuck between a rock and a hard place. If you really 'believe' in iXcoins you have no choice but to choose option 1.

So... let's see how much your really 'believe' in iXcoin......... Your going to show us over the new few days.

LOL  Cheesy

1909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: * This is how you become an altcoin Millionaire * on: February 14, 2014, 07:52:24 AM
Why would you comment on this post? Well obviously you have something to gain from it. A personal gain, self fulfillment maybe, who knows. But you did gain something, that is a fact.

I don't hold any iXcoins or i0coins. I think it was the blantant lie about the 8% Bitcoin premine that kept my interest in this thread.
1910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: * This is how you become an altcoin Millionaire * on: February 14, 2014, 05:24:01 AM
TK808, if you like iXcoin so much, why don't you promote i0coin? It's a clone of iXcoin without the premine.

Because he has a bag full of iXcoins, not i0coins.
This amusing thing is, if it were the other way round he would be telling us to avoid iXcoins because of the premine.  Roll Eyes

1911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: * This is how you become an altcoin Millionaire * on: February 13, 2014, 11:53:16 AM
So I'm not trying to justify anything about iXcoin, I just don't like hearing lies and misinformation.  That's the only reason I jumped in.

You mean misinformation like "8% Bitcoin premine" fruitlessly trying to justify iXcoins massive one? Or does that little gem not count?
1912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: * This is how you become an altcoin Millionaire * on: February 13, 2014, 10:15:10 AM

Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings, but yes, a coin that's died 3 times is preferable over a scammy premined one. Obviously a coin which has neither of these is better, but we are not discussing those.
Sorry to be the one to break the bad news to you.

Obviously because you've got 60ish (if I remember) BTC invested stuck in iXcoin because of poor liquidity (because nobody wants to buy them), your going to be over enthusiastic about the coin. Good luck finding a sucker(s) to buy those coins off you.

Dear god, haven't we debunked this Bitcoin was premined myth years ago? Simple 5 minute blockchain analysis has proven this false. I can't even be bothered with that one anyone.
Same as the long running myth Litecoin was the first scrypt coin. The false myth just refuses to die. I give up.

The Bitcoin premine is a Myth, eh?  I suppose you know better than the experts at Coindesk and one of the biggest and most educated Bitcoin investors in the world, Naval Ravikant.

The lack of knowledge regarding cryptos on this forum is mind numbingly staggering.

Here's Naval, at the 3 minute mark.

I've also read numerous other reliable news pieces talking about Satoshi's huge premine wallet which has not been spent.  Not a single coin which is much worse than the crappy 1.25% premine iXcoin had which has long been put back into the system.

Nice articles. Worth a read. Sorry can't view video, phone bandwidth. Will look later at home.
Sadly nothing about premining. Do you understand what a premine is?

For the second time of asking, please prove proof of Bitcoins alleged premine?

Do you understand educated career people don't use words like premines.  That's jargon used on forums like this.  Satoshi cleverly mined over 1 million Bitcoins and he did it in such a way that nobody saw him do it and its hard to say he even did it but if you look at the data it's pretty clear.

Cause one of the definitions of a premine is a clever stealthy accumulation of alt coins.  To me, instamine and premine means the same thing cause the result is exactly the same thing, robbing the miners of coins they should have had and this is exactly what Satoshi did.

Regardless, I'm not here for BTC and as far as IXC is concerned the premine (and rhe dev) are long gone and are now a total non-event.

No. There was no "clever stealth". Satoshi had no other way of releasing the coin, because the world had never heard of distributed currencies, or cared. Anyway Hal Finney mined a block below blockheight 100, so that blows this 8% FUD out of the water.

*chuckle* When I'm back on my main computer and can type easier I've got a little challenge for you to prove just how much belief you have in iXcoin. You won't like it, but you can gain some street cred back if you go through with it.

Be back later.

Might as well use i0coin.  Identical, without the premine millstone round it's neck.

Oops, i0Coin has died 3 times to iXcoin's zero.

Do I really need to keep going?

It can be resurrected. An easy fix.

A premine cannot be fixed. Time will not erode that problem.

Oh yeah, a dead coin [thrice] is no biggie but a small premine which has been sold long ago cannot be fixed.

Much nonsense.

Since you're clueless here's some news:  Bitcoin had and still has (in Satoshi's wallet) a MASSIVE 8% premine.

Unlike iXcoin's tiny 1.25% premine which was sold long ago and is back in the chain held by investors, Bitcoin's premine sits there waiting for who knows what.

So tell me, how do you sleep at night buying such a scam coin, 8 times the scam of iXcoin, when you knowingly support Bitcoin.

And what's the world to do since according to you, a premine can never be fixed. Never.  But if Bitcoin were to die a bunch of times, hey, no big deal.

Ahahaaaaa.  I truly can't believe people like you actually exist and actually invest real money.  lol, guys like you make traders very rich.
