1921  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Thoughts on changelly on: May 31, 2020, 08:35:52 PM
It has lots negative feedback, and open scam accusation. They do selective scamming and asking KYC when you sent coins that they thought came from dirty source even if they don't.
1922  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin themed t-shirts? on: May 31, 2020, 08:22:02 PM
Never bought any kind of crypto t-shirt yet, though I have some from winnings on some contest. I have that thoughts regarding security purposes, or I'm just being paranoid with it.

Besides, I like more on designs of the shirt, how unique it than those designs that can be seen on that internet while quality the cloth should be retain.
1923  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Crex 24 scam people on: May 31, 2020, 07:28:17 PM
Are you still using them?

What grounds you're holding of using their exchange, after all, they have even open scam accusations just a month ago. Having them accepting scam and shitcoin make them shit as well.
1924  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where to buy CashU coupons with bitcoin anonymously? on: May 31, 2020, 07:15:49 PM
Have you tried to look https://moogold.com/product/cashu-card/, never tried them though. They need registration, also accept bitcoin as your payment method. They only need your name, zipcode and some signature? (don't know why they need that) when buying. Btw they are using btcpay.
1925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: #BitcoinAndBlackAmerica sign on: May 31, 2020, 06:43:27 PM
Saw the video regarding the murder of floyd minutes after it trends on twitter, that act is totally racism. Protests are okay as long as they don't destroy someone's business, cars, infrastracture, etc. At some point, the protests are just excused for stealing and looting on that city.

And yeah, that poster is an advertisement as its best. "Google Bitcoin and Black America"
1926  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: May 31, 2020, 05:26:39 PM

I used this feature nila before but matagal na yun at wala ding problema. Base sa status page nila https://status.coins.ph/ operational din.

Na double-check mo ba mobile # mo, yung 11 digits?

[Edit] Kase na try ko just now lang, okay naman.

1927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: CZ and Coinmarketcap on: May 30, 2020, 08:27:02 PM
but the problem is, Does CZ manipulate the volume of exchanges he owns.
[/quote
Possible, but for these days, I don't think so, seems binance has always good volume since it was launched til now that it holds the most volume trades which is obvious from what kind of service, user experience, and CS they offered.
1928  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin at Banko on: May 30, 2020, 06:27:35 PM
So ang bitcoins natin ay naka store sa ating mga wallet
Yes, as often described by many at sa simpleng explanation.

But technically speaking, wallet stores the credentials ng bitcoin na meron ka which the public and private key, kase bitcoin is stored in the block chain. Your wallet only used to transfer bitcoin gamit ang private key kaya need na i'save sa secure na lugar an private keys.

Being said naisip ko lang po, if we do this process to store our money sa mga wallets natin we are not helping the growth of our economy.
No, bitcoin is free from those aspects, di naman regulated ng banko ang bitcoin in the first place. At nagawa ang bitcoin as an alternative ng global financial system.

1930  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beaware about virus [QnodeCoin] on: May 30, 2020, 02:22:42 PM
Most qt wallets are detected with malware even the bitcoin-qt wallet on virustotal. Which you can't assure the legitimacy of the report not unless the source code of the software was audited by the open-source community without any issue. Considering this is a new wallet/project I'm skeptical of using them in any way.
1931  Other / Meta / Re: New set up? on: May 29, 2020, 07:57:23 PM
It's working on PC, I'm not sure if it does the same in phone browser version.
Same on my mobile browser with brave, still okay though.

my answer to yesterday's topic
It seems both the image and the site is inaccessible.

I know this is not that big of a deal but I appreciate it  Cheesy
Idk about that, mine is okay, maybe some addon/plugin works.

Do you mind having a screenshot about it? Sometimes there's a warning color in red, not sure for bold black.
1934  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Small Business that accept bitcoin or cyptocurrency here in PH, worth it ba? on: May 29, 2020, 07:37:27 PM
It's not nonsense, because if people will adopt a lightning network, transaction will be faster and cheaper, and I consider it as a 3rd party.

Do I make sense now?

You're referring to second layer technology then, not exactly a third party but yes, that could significantly cut fees. Current state is unusable though for the masses, impractical.
My view is that bitcoin is not intended to be for dust transactions. There's fiat for that.
Still, transfers through lightning only possible for hundreds of $$$ I guess +200$, and not even possible for a thousand, and it needs lots of improvement. Using segwit would help for fees though but still, it takes lots of fees transferring larger transactions (by size) and amount.

Marami din akong nakita na businesses sa online na nagaacept ng bitcoin hindi nga lang masyadong detalyado pwede mong icheck itong mga links:

Okay sana, pero walang matinong image sa actual shop puro stock image lang gamit sa article.
1935  Other / Meta / Re: 2FA on Forum Accounts on: May 29, 2020, 06:36:07 AM
I don't know if this suggestion has been made anywhere else here as I couldn't find any thread on it before putting this out. If there is any, I will put this down..
Here are some of them.

Two Factor Authentication On Bitcointalk
Bitcointalk Account Security (2FA)
Do you agree to have 2fa Authentication on Bitcointalk.org?
2FA - Important Precautions with Google Authenticator
Isn't it time to introduce 2FA to enhance user account security ?

As for the security, its user's responsibility to do so, there are users that never faced any account breached so far including me, what I mean is this is not solely the forum's fault.

I don't know why the channel limits its viewers, I got this screen message

"The uploader has not made this video available in your country."

Anyway, any publicity of bitcoin/crypto is good thing especially if the content gives more comprehensible information, knowledge regarding finance and security.
1938  Other / Meta / Re: Why does bitcointalk.org come under US jurisdiction ? on: May 26, 2020, 12:22:13 PM
My guess is due to bitcointalk hosting, and which I think is namecheap(saw this in previous threads of theymos) or eNom(saw it on whois.net) both are US-based hosting provider which means the presence of bitcointalk is also under the jurisdiction of US law.
