1941  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: An advice for newbies and plebs on: March 17, 2022, 05:52:01 PM
Trading requires complete concentration and with newbie traders it can be said that they still lack experience,
mandatory thing for newbie traders before starting to trade they must really understand the market,
trading is not just about buying and selling coins so prepare everything
That concentration skill is something that is underestimated by people by a lot. It is something that is very important but at the end of the day we are talking about something that is the key to success or at least one of the parts of it as well. What we are forgetting is that no matter how talented you are, no matter how much you study, if you do not focus your trading then you will be distracted and your results will be subpar.

I personally have done a lot more than my fair share of distracted trading and I can tell you that it definitely brings a subtle problem for my trading. It is not common, but it is there and I make silly mistakes and lose money because of them.
1942  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It seems that more people taking crypto trading as full time job on: March 17, 2022, 04:51:24 AM
I think that many people are seeking to do crypto trading, especially when the pandemic started, where people lose jobs and weren’t able to provide for their needs. Although, given the strong desire to trade, not all had good results in trying. Many have been woken up to the fact that crypto trading is not just a simple thing to do then you’ll just earn eventually. In crypto trading, you have to work smart and not just hard. So, many have realise by now that being a full time trader is tough, and taking taking other activities source of income and trading from time to time is not such bad thing to do as well.
Those people should have instead looked for jobs in the crypto market. We are still growing in the business side of the world. Crypto is huge in the marketcap of the coins way, but we still have so many companies willing to hire people to do work. Sure there are many people who are working for cheap prices, like 100 bucks a month type of people, but those people provide low quality of work.

So, if you have any job that could be translated into remote work for a crypto company, you could actually make a good income. If they lost their money or their jobs, crypto could have brought them a bit of it back, and that is exactly what I did years ago and I am super happy with my current job.
1943  Economy / Speculation / Re: How these events will affect crypto market? on: March 16, 2022, 05:50:31 PM
For me IMO opinion yes that new executive order will make an impact in the market because they want crypto on their banks so it means soon or later there will be a massive demand in the crypto market..

And about the ruble of russia, i think even they covert it to crypto they still cannot bypass the sanction because most platform are now freezing their acount as well.. So its impossible..
I think so too. EO meant there will be regulations although this will not be welcomed by most users who keep privacy, the ones who are new to crypto will likely want to join as regulations make the crypto environment safer. I think the EO will be more discussed in APRIL 6-9 Bitcoin 2022 | Miami Beach which is next month and I would expect some other politicians will be there to announce BTC legal tender.

Korea is about to choose a crypto-friendly president, the crypto community in the country will take it as a positive sign. It is also possible for Russian oligarchs to move to set aside some money into crypto.
I also think that Europe is now discussing about a potential of banning POW coins as well. It is bad for the environment according to them. The reality is that it is actually do hurt the world but the reality is that there are so many other things and they think they are legit and crypto is not and that's it.

Aviation industry itself is something that has been hurting the climate itself alone, and oil companies does as well, gas as well and yet all of them are seen as "needed" when the crypto is not seen like that and that is the problem we are having right now because we are not seen as needed.

Trading is truly helpful in times of crisis like the covid pandemic where someone can lose a job but the only downside is you cannot start immediately here if you have no experience in trading a crypto but you need to learn first and after that, there is still no guarantee that you can earn but you will go in lots of trials and error however in the end, all will be worth it because you can now have a replacement for your job and you can now make lots of cash.

What is good with this is you control your time because you yourself is your own boss. It is expected that the number of crypto traders will grow, now that there is a new variant of the virus and pandemic will be extended again.
1945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Other valid and serious forums about Altcoins? on: March 16, 2022, 12:29:53 PM
Reddit is a great place to do this. I mean we are talking about literally just being amazing and that is a great way to make some money as well if you participate with them as well. For example, r/cryptocurrency has such a big community that they have their own tokens as well, called moon token or something and you get paid with that the more you participate and people upvote you and so forth.

It means you could technically make about 30-40 dollars a month by just being there and writing and talking with other people. Consider it like the merit we have here, but it is something you can cash out as well and make money.
Oh nice info I didn't knew that it's now possible to earn money in reddit because what I thought before is reddit is only for free discussions but I think reddit is very strict so someone that is only intention is to earn will be filtered out easily by the moderators even if we say that they write something useful or something that is related to the topic.

OP is not looking for a forum that have earning potential like bitcointalk but he was looking for an altcoin based forum that talks about presale and stuffs but I think if we search that keyword in reddit, they also have it but again they are strict and not all new altcoins or tokens is going to be discussed there. It can be a good thing tho to minimize scam. Another one that I know is altcointalk. It's a good one.
1946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: where are these cryptos going;!!! on: March 16, 2022, 08:58:38 AM

Are cryptocurrencies losing their appeal? Where do you see which important crypto money in the future? How do you interpret the sudden fall of cryptocurrencies? Apart from BNB, SOL, BTC, ETH, do you think there are other cryptos that can be popular?
losing their appeal? which cryptocurrencies are you referring here ? because for me it is not mate as all the coins i have in my hands are still profiting and making way into the top.

so maybe you are mistakenly mentioned that word.

and asking which cryptocurrencies are in the name of going up? then i will mentioned ADA and Ripple still.
That is basically a way of saying that the price is going down. I mean if it had big appeal then a lot of people would buy and that way the price wouldn't fall. It must be losing its appeal since everyone is selling and getting out, who would get out of something that keeps their appeal or goes up on it? That is what the logic behind it is, not something that would be understandable for me, because I find them still quite appealing and I still keep buying it.

However, since the price is falling right now (well not now but in general recently) that usually means the appeal may not be there anymore for some people.
1947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: March 15, 2022, 08:50:15 PM
I already wanted to check weather forecast for upcoming race, but forgot that we're in Bahrain Cheesy. Anyway, seems that it won't be that hot, 24-26°C during Saturday and Sunday. So, maybe teams won't have problems with overheating brakes.
I imagine teams will have all sorts of problems, as these are brand new car designs that haven't been properly tested in a full-speed race situation yet. I'm expecting a few retirements, as there are a few teams who have had reliability issues in the pre-season. We've still yet to see really whether the closer racing is possible or how much of an issue tyre deg will be, too.

But the new season is nearly here now... can't wait!
They do testing in the factories as well and even though it has been said that it is illegal to do more than a certain hour, I guarantee you that Toto and Horner probably have those cars replica versions at their home with an inbuilt testing lol.

I mean it is clear to me that we are talking about hundreds of millions of dollars worth teams and there must be some rules broken and testing seems to be one of the main ones. They have proposing problem right now and that requires insane amount of testing to figure out the best possible method and in order to find that, you gotta do a lot of testing. Could be done in a week if they do it illegally and not follow the hours rule.
1948  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Upliftment of Crypto Ban of Nigerian Banks on: March 15, 2022, 08:18:10 AM
Cryptocurrency is quite popular in Nigeria than in any other country. And there are a few reasons behind that. Bank could ban the cryptocurrency but it couldn't prevent citizens from using decentralized cryptocurrency anyway. Many citizens earn cryptocurrency by selling their skills. Its positive support for the Nigerian financial ecosystem. I know many scammers live there, but good people shouldn't punish bad people. I think Nigeria's central Bank observing deeply and they will step in on what they should do. There are a few technical things that they need to study more.
This is the scenario with most of the countries that keep themselves high on cryptocurrency usage. I find there is imbalance in the financial level around Nigeria. There are elite people as well as below poverty people. This has to change. The low level people are slowly getting uplifted out of bitcoin and that might hurt the elite. This seems to be the major reason why the government have suddenly entered into this controversy.
This was considered in our nation. Someone in the economy ministry said that we should print fiat and buy bitcoins with it. It would devalue our fiat and would be bad, but it would allow us to actually buy bitcoin to hedge against it as well.

In 5-10-20 years that would be a move that would allow us to actually recover that loss, and become a super powerful nation (not like USA or UK or Russia, but more than right now) and that was actually only reason why I could be fine with printing money. Yes it hurts you in the short term but it would help you more than it hurts you in the distant future. I may suffer because of it, but our children will benefit from it.
1949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What Altcoins will Rock in 2022. on: March 15, 2022, 04:48:05 AM
why should you know in 2023?, isn't now the right time to buy cryptocurrencies and invest in them?
altcoins and bitcoin prices are currently at the bottom, of course I can advise you to buy them when prices are at the bottom,
and do a good strategy like buying it gradually, and waiting again below, also apply stop loss if it feels like the price can go down again, good luck
2023. Since I made it up, like everyone else is stubborn with their beliefs, the results are not based on our judgments, so don't try to instill in people's heads opinions based on personal mistakes. Any time is reasonable if you can control and generate profit margins with it.
I think the previous participants in this field are very satisfied. 2021 has given us a lot of opportunities. One aspect of this market opportunity is always there, but each market phase will bring little opportunity. or much.
Lol, this is funny but also very true. Everyone guesses something and they write it like it is information. I have seen so many people write things like "x coin will be x2 in 2022" and so forth, which we all know is not something they could ever know, it is something they are guessing and I support people making assumptions because how could we otherwise make any kind of change but that is only like for yourself and not for the whole world to know.

In any case, we are talking about people who are assuming the prices and I assume there will be amazing stuff coming for a few tokens that I am holding, but I am not claiming to know that to other people.

there's no specific strategy to beat the casino thats why its better to have less expectation when you gamble. Because if you're assuming to win or hit a jackpot and not thinking of the possible losses then it can give a negative result (i.e addiction and depression) for you as gambler. Hence, its a must to know the risk if you decide to gamble your money. The victorious moments of those who manage to win in gambling can possibly happen to you as well, but often thats not the case.
There will always be some people who thinks that there is a chance to beat casinos. I mean it is not really that easy, and it is going to take a long time but at the end of the day all people will realize that they can't beat the casino. They can try tactics, systems, strategies, methods, cheeky stuff, whatever they want and in the end they will lose it all given enough time.

House edge makes casinos mathematically impossible to beat. The biggest lie anyone can tell themselves is "house edge makes sure house wins overall, doesn't mean it needs to beat every individual", no that is not true it DOES mean it will beat every individual one day or another, may take some time but it will beat you too.
1951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 14, 2022, 06:38:30 PM
Leipzig performance last weekend was awesome. Although, they played against one of the worst team In the Bundesliga. Greuther Furth was the first to secure a goal, but ended up conceding 6 goals.
Leipzig indeed took advantage of their opponent weak squad. However, I think Leipzig have to play more carefully, in order not to lose points in their upcoming matches. Losing point will certainly results to them been dropped out of the top 4. Because, Hoffenheim and Freiberg are probably in good shape.
Leipzig without any doubt done magical performance in last match specially after conceding early goal they were at top and then never allow their opponents to have any chance of fight back in this match.

Leipzig doing good for last few seasons but this year just because of few poor matches in early part of this season now they have to stay at third or fourth spot, but they can improve this all for next season as they still have some good potential to challenge big teams in this league even we have no challenge for Bayern Munich as they are best in business and peoples talk is right about this league that most teams fights for other spots not capable to challenge them for title because its need some good wallet and very skilled players hopefully we will have some challenge from them for title in next season and this league will produce better results.
1952  Economy / Economics / Re: China's strategy on the Ukraine invasion war on: March 14, 2022, 05:14:12 AM
Also the reason why the U.S. won't swap fighter jets with Poland so that their old ones can be used by Ukraine. The no fly zone is understandable, but if the West is already providing ammo and other military equipment, sending fighter jets doesn't seem so over the top. Putin is bluffing with his nuclear weapons IMO. Obviously not a gamble the West should take, but WW3 is a bit hyperbolic. As long as the U.S. is not killing Russian troops, they can support by proxy. It's essentially what's been the case with the Middle East for years, a proxy war between U.S. backed and Russian backed groups.
It is basically about the amount they are willing to spend plus the other side taking hold of some information. If you send someone regular AR weapons and ammunition then even if the other side gets it (probably already bought it from someone way back when it first came out) then there wouldn't be any dangers.

However, airplane is something that runs on tech, and if the other side gets their hands on that tech, they could get a better defence ready for something like that, and it would be scary. So, sending like F series war planes would be a risky move, because it would give Russians time to get one and then result with some tides turning for the USA.

Liverpool and Mohamed Salah have yet to come to an agreement, regarding the extension of Salah's contract at Liverpool which will expire in June 2023. Salah's request for a salary increase is the reason why the deal seems to be deadlocked. In the press conference ahead of the Brighton vs Liverpool match, Juergen Klopp said that regarding Salah's contract Liverpool could not do more, the club had done what it
could do, the decision depends on Mohamed Salah. Not long after the press conference, Ramy Abbas as Mohamed Salah's agent immediately gave a laughing emoji on Twitter, it's like a satire to what Klopp said. I don't think Liverpool management should refuse Salah's salary request, because if we look at Salah's huge contribution to Liverpool, it was very deserving of Salah to get the salary increase he wanted.
I never really expected him to be taking this long. I mean lets be honest here, both sides do not really "need" each other. Sure if Salah stays in Liverpool, that would be great for Liverpool, who wouldn't want a player like Salah to play for their team? Let alone leave it. We would also see Salah play in the best possible role he could hope for, so he is his best at Liverpool as well and could be still great somewhere else but maybe not this much.

So, they are "good to have" for each other but not really "need". Salah could leave and find better salary somewhere else, and Klopp could easily replace Salah with someone else and not become a terrible team because of it.
1954  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold is the new gold... or the old gold... or both on: March 12, 2022, 06:04:21 PM
Gold and crypto both are valuable but i think both are different base.Gold is most valuable things offline but Bitcoin is most valuable coin in crypto market. Bitcoin is long term coin and bitcoin huge development increase last few years  but gold price increase little. I think gold and bitcoin price will be more increase in future.
Both do have a high value and the most obvious is that for gold itself it is an offline asset which has a tangible physical form,
while for Bitcoin it is better known as an online asset which does not have a physical form,
what is certain between Bitcoin and gold are both profitable investments
The both of them are really good investment, in fact I would advise anyone to also invest in gold. Gold has been one of the best investment that anyone can make for years now. Before I got to know about Bitcoin I once invested in gold, and it was really worth it.

Although I decided to choose Bitcoin over gold, because Bitcoin is more easier for me to access, and it doesn’t really need any intermediaries, is just straight to the point, and also you are more likely to get bigger profits from investing in Bitcoin than you would in gold. But the both of them are really good, and they would make you profit if you are to invest in any of them.
1955  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you using trading indicators? on: March 12, 2022, 06:34:39 AM
Trading indicators work well if you are in some trend, they don’t work well when there is chop which is what we are experiencing right now.

We peaked in Nov and it keeps dipping and dipping. So right now i would say trend is down. However we had a failed low on the daily and had good momentum on the invasion news. So right now it’s tricky what will happen.

Needs to break the daily pivot to the upside and then we can look for longs.
To be fair, I never understand how people use indicators in a market as volatile as Bitcoin market is. I agree these indicators can help you get an idea of which way the market will move but seriously, I have never met a single trader who can predict how the market will move consistently. There are times when you can predict the market based on news and bans/acceptance but otherwise, it doesn't work.

Is there a single trader on this forum who can confidently predict the market movement using indicators? Would be glad and interested to see if there are any such traders.
1956  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Crash in The Next 2 Weeks? on: March 11, 2022, 05:00:12 PM
Biden regulation will of course greatly affect the global market, but I would never believe that bitcoin will be destroyed just because of what he did, indeed the price of bitcoin continues to decline in the market and actually it is a natural thing if the market continues to be hit by negative sentiments like what happened right now, but to destroy bitcoin it seems that biden has no power over it.
So of course we don't need to be afraid or panic about what is being rumored, because as long as many people in the world believe and continue to make bitcoin transactions, of course bitcoin will continue to grow all the time.
Biden could definitely cause the price to go down. He doesn't have the power to make it go away, nobody has that power, not even Satoshi has that power, satoshi could come up together and say that his bitcoin idea was bad and should be stopped and it is a shitty one, and people will ignore even him after a while.

What these type of things cause is just drop the price for a while, have a bear market, and then eventually but slowly go up once again. That is why these are all "short term bad news" and nothing more, you need to end up getting better at realizing that the long term trajectory of bitcoin is always up, no matter who does whatever.
1957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it good to penalize airdrop hunters? on: March 11, 2022, 05:15:31 AM
I would say to avoid dump by hunters then the airdrop could be paid in batches or by percentage of to allocation of the airdrop token to all participants this will enable them have control over their allocation to airdrop tokens and to safe guide the market from being dumped.
I totally agree with you... but basically airdrops have small tasks and promise to pay a few cents, which makes many people join it with multiple accounts under one control
and the project locks some tokens and can be unlocked incrementally to avoid throwing away pizza without tasting it
So you're saying that airdrop payments are low, that is why it is being abused? Locking the tokens will also prevent the investors from selling it, not just the airdrop hunters. That was too unethical.

@Adbitco now I know why some airdrops that I joined are paid in batches, I thought it's only their strategy to avoid paying high fees but we can't be sure that airdrop hunters will dump their coins and what if they hodl them after receiving? And all of them are waiting for the price of the coin to pump before all of them sell? the price of the coin can still dump after it. They cannot escape it. Why cant every project accept that dumping is part of the process on how this market works.
1958  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation hits Russia on: March 10, 2022, 08:43:24 PM
Someone on twitter said it best, and I loved it when I read it "if the price of gas goes to a trillion dollars but Russia has absolutely nobody to sell, then what is the point?". All in all if Russia is sanctioned off from the major buyers, and only a few places can still continue to buy from them, then they will have to make some changes to the price and lower it because if they can't sell it to those few nations then who will they sell it to?

West meanwhile could just open a listing and say "whoever sells us cheapest, will get this money" and get it from anyone they want to. There is really nothing major about this that doesn't hurt Russia, everything will hurt Russia from now on.
What Russia gain from the price going up is the pressure from the people to the governments to stop doing what they are doing to Russia and find a way to drop the price again. Everyone assumed that just because there are sanctions, Russian people will eventually protest against Putin and find a way to get rid of him, so making the life of everyday Russians would cause them to be upset and angry and basically take up their pitchforks. However, Putin is doing the same thing via Oil nowadays.

This way the price of oil and gas will skyrocket, people will be unable to use their oil anymore, and at the end of the day we are going to end up with regular people of Europe or USA starting to protest their own presidents.
1959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 10, 2022, 06:50:21 PM
I think you’ll are wrong money is not the reason for his transfer wish to Real Madrid, because PSG can easily double what Real Madrid would have offered, and the real reason is that he can never be a legend like Ronaldo or Messi while he plays for PSG as it’s considered a weak league in comparison to La Liga. Lastly the only way to stop him from leaving is to sack Poch and bring Zidane in as his replacement, and hope he can’t say no to Zidane otherwise I see no other scenario in which he’ll extend his stay beyond this season at PSG.
Even if they sack Pochettino, which I 100% believe that they will at the end of the season anyway, and bring Zidane which I believe they will pay whatever amount needed to get him, Mbappe will be leaving after last night's terrible results. He got plenty of goals needed, most of them offside but he worked hard and that was the result, it could be offside but at least he worked. Look at the rest of the team, they all looked like they just wanted to waste time.

A great team doesn't waste time, you think if Bayern played Madrid, they would waste time? They would go for that second goal, and if they got it, work for that third goal. Mbappe is leaving for sure, and Pochettino is leaving with him as well.
1960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: REASON WHY ALTCOIN MARKET HARD TO SPECULATE on: March 10, 2022, 02:44:51 PM
I first heard and read about Bitcoin in 2015 and since then I have gained a lot of knowledge about Bitcoin so I was well informed when the altcoin boom of 2017 happened, quite a large number of cryptocurrency users are not aware of this forum but gradually they beginning to be aware of bitcointalk and are coming on board.
It would be amazing if you had time to enter this forum in 2015, so you can be at Legendary rank for now and get a lot of benefits through bounties in 2017. But I saw you enter this forum on December 12, 2021 and that is too late in my opinion.
So how did you find out about the altcoin boom of 2017 Huh because I think it's very strange.
Even though he isn't involved in the forum to reap rewards from the services offered here, I guess he was still earning good outside because he started in 2015 when btc was still cheap and two years later it got boom and ready for a selloff. 2017 hype is the time when crypto especially bitcoin got really popular. Those people scan for information online to get good at it and they eventually discovered this forum.

It is not too late but he can still rank up if he will just post meaningful stuff. Anyway back on the original topic, no one here is easy to speculate. Bitcoin and altcoins, both of them are the same. This is what makes crypto investing risky.
