1961  Economy / Economics / Re: Have you figured out what you are Investing in? on: April 19, 2019, 09:21:47 AM
The hyped in 2017 cause bitcoin and others cryptocurrencies to surged toward the end of the year and complete crashed back to the bottom in December 2018. Did people really know what they are investing in?  Is a question that keeps ringing in my mind and actually the answer to that question is that people follow the hype and forgot to  checked for reality before investing and this come from the testimony of those that has claim of making big profits or gain from the past surge that came into the cryptocurrencies market.
I think the red flag there is that people think of what they are going to get from their investments into cryptocurrencies more than the capital they have invested and as results when the reality done on them,  they began to sell out of panic and in turn the market clash like it happens through 2018.
Now that we have another opportunity to invest because of the down turned,  I do believe that it is good you look at the reality behind any coin you want to invest in and not the FUD,  manipulations,  FOMO and hype behind those coins.

The problem with people who are investing out of hype is that, they are not really aware what caused the hype. This is one of the main reason why a lot of people, usually or most of them are new people in cryptocurrency, had lost a lot of money and now blaming cryptocurrency for it. As an investor, it is our responsibility to be updated or at least aware of what we are getting involved to.
1962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hardworking pays not luck on: April 19, 2019, 05:22:08 AM
We don't want luck we want to get paid for hardworking ,bounty that was once about how hardworking has now turn to 'how lucky you are' ,something must be done about this ,any ideas??? Since all devs makes use of Bitcointalk forum to advertise and draw people attention bitcointalk will Be the easiest strong wall standing between scammers and investors

However, the situation is really different, most likely even ICOs with great reviews fail, only few succeed and only few bounties are paying. That is why, all depends on luck nowadays. Sad to say, bounty hubting is not as profitable as how it was.
1963  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fun stuff to do with bitcoin? on: April 19, 2019, 05:01:05 AM
I remember the first years of bitcoin's life. There were so many things to do and learn: mining, faucets, wallets, blockchain visualizations, etc.

Nowadays the bitcoin world is pretty boring: mining is for people with deep pockets, faucets don't exist anymore, wallets are getting centralized by big corporations (blockchain.com, coinbase, etc.).

Is there anything fun left to do with bitcoin, any specific application, website, app, anything that will make bitcoin fun and interesting again? Otherwise I just keep on holding and that's it.

I do still remember faucets where you can get 10,000 or more sats ever 5 minutes to 1 hour. During this time I have no other means of earning bitcoin so I spend a lot of time looking for faucets for free bitcoin.  Grin

The old days were gone, faucets are not profitable and you are corrext mining is only for people who has capability to sustain and build it.

As for applications that could offer bitcoin, I doubt if there's anything that can be profitable. So, maybe the only fun thing to do to with bitcoin is to gamble with it since online gambling industry is emerging which offers a lot of prizes, competitions and freebies. There are still a lot of things we can do with it, such as trading, investing and a lot more.

People had seen the importance and potential of bitcoin so every website or application that is giving it away free is not as generous as it was before. You will really have to work hard to earn it.
1964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Accepting multiple cryptocurrencies in ICO on: April 19, 2019, 04:28:53 AM
I am wondering some ICO's accept only ETH. Some accepts BTC, ETH, LTC and other cryptocurrencies as well. Does accepting more currencies in ICO plays a roles in its success.

Also Ethereum's smart contract are built for accepting only ETH. How other ICO's are accepting multiple cryptocurrencies and pays tokens accordingly? Do they have to maintain a sheet of who pays in what currencies in a sheet and allocate tokens accordingly. It seems to be a hard manual process.

Actually it can, since some investors does hold only numbers of currency. So, having multiple currencies in an ICO would make it easier for investors to choose a currency they have or would like to use.
1965  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Arbistar - Automized arbitrage bot on: April 19, 2019, 04:10:24 AM
What else can I say?. They are data that the Bot Community is giving.

I'm asking for information from version 1.0 of the Personal bot. I would like to know if someone knows it and has data. This platform is going to release version 2.0 in 23 days and I would like to know more information to invest in or not.

Version 1.0 of Personal Bot was launched 8 months ago, but I do not know the data.

I'm not defending anything, I only request information from Personal Bot V.1.0 ..  Roll Eyes

Thanks for sharing your observation regarding the bot. Good mothly ROI and it seems you are really observing this and ginving updatea about it. Would be great to give it a try since using bot can really be convenient and let's see can I get from my end.
1966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Best Ethereum Wallets online in 2019 on: April 19, 2019, 03:50:49 AM
I have only tried using MyEtherWallet and Metamask only. You can actually open Metamask wallet using MEW. Both are really convenient and widely used by most and trusted for holding erc-20 tokens.
1967  Economy / Services / Re: Stake.com - A signature campaign for everyone! Earn up to 0.1 BTC weekly on: April 19, 2019, 02:29:21 AM
I have lost my old telegram where I was part of the telegram group. Admin, please add my new telegram to the bounty group for me to get updates and send spreadsheet for the contest.

Here is my new telegram: @Ailmand321

I have sent admin a PM here and in telegram, still got no reply. Hope he sees this.  Grin

Quoting my old post. Admin was able to reply on my message in telegram but forgot to add my new telegram to the group. It seems like admin had been busy lately.
1968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Research and Hardwork on: April 19, 2019, 02:25:43 AM
It's just right even as a bounty hubter to carefully do a research before supporting and joining a project. You will be pronoting a project for a month or two, so select them carefully because not just you will invest your time and effort, take note that you are promoting them to gather potential investor, so you are narketing a scam ICO if ever you do not do a good research.
1969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I deposit 37001 whitecoins to cryptopia exchange this week by mistake on: April 19, 2019, 02:09:30 AM
This is user's fault for not reading uodatea and notice before doing transactions. Sadly to say, just take it as an opportunity to learn and hope you won't commit the same mistake in the future.
1970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If the society rejected to use crypto currencies? on: April 19, 2019, 01:49:57 AM
This thing came up to my mind suddenly. As I know a currency is a transaction medium that majority of the people agree to use to exchange their items with them. If it is the case, if majority refused to use crypto currencies, what will be the consequences may occur ? And how it will affect to the ICOs ? Any Ideas?

I doubt if this will occur, but just to answer, if ever this occurs this will affect the whole market. Less demand, less market activity m, the market will fall.

The society see cryptocurrency as a new trend to bring services and product, so why would they omignire sonething that is convenient and profitable.
1971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What causes tokens been dumped after a successful ICO. on: April 19, 2019, 01:36:59 AM
Developers and other investors put the blame on bounty participants without even acknowledging the highest bouty pool just rangest between .5-5% of the supply. Early and pre-sale investors get the biggest discount during the ICO and most likely they are the whales of a new ICO. That is why it would only be wise for future developers out there to lock tokens for early adaptors.
1972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The longer you play poker the better you become ? on: April 19, 2019, 01:26:32 AM
What do you think can be a consistent winning player on this game? is this game of skills or luck?
the longer you play more skills you get?

Of course, poker requires skill, luck and strategy to win. Even a bad hand can defeat anyone as long as you are playing your card well. As you play longer you will learn how to properly bluff and intimidate other players even if you don't have good cards.
1973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crypto A Way To become Rich / Millionaire ? on: April 19, 2019, 01:14:59 AM
Today Want to  Ask , did Satoshi Created bitcoin to solve poverty  issues or he created this bitcoin so solve financial transaction problems !!
Is crypto  a get rich quick scheme as people are putting their  mindset into  it  ?

It could be, but do not day dream it's just a week, not even a year process. It depends on the time of your investment, the market movement and the time you sell your investment. One of the misconception of cryptocurrency investment is that it is a quick way to get rich, crypro millionaires didn't get rich that quick. It takea time, effort and patience.
1974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AIRDROPS ASKING FOR KYC VERIFICATION on: April 19, 2019, 12:54:17 AM
The issue of KYC always raises questions whose answers are mostly not very discerning to the ears. It is quite unfortunate, I know most crypto enthusiasts are not comfortable giving out their personal information for KYC but there is little we can do about the situation at the moment.  Most of these projects claim they are under a legal jurisdiction where KYC is very important for many business projects. The new trend is increasingly becoming worrisome as many airdrops are even requiring KYC verification from participants.

Not worth it, it is not convenient and not worth risking  disclosing personal information for a small amount of cryptocurrency.
1975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The worst story continues again. on: April 19, 2019, 12:48:41 AM
The value of top coins dropping badly again, the market is unstable everything seems to be complicated. The worst scenario of crypto continues again as most of them were believing that this time there will not any downfall but crypto market has different thoughts.

Why would you even bother, being involved in crypto you should have been aware that the market is volatile and such movement must not be something new to you. Just take advantage of what is happening now, do not depend too much on the market price, start trading and analyzing the market and earning from it.
1976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Economic and social impacts of BTC - Research ideas on: April 19, 2019, 12:26:13 AM
Hi there BTC community,

This is my first post here.
I'm a part-time researcher who's seeking for some guidance from the BTC community about research(able) topics.
My scientific interests are in a trans-disciplinary area: the social, political and economical impacts of technology in our society.
Therefore, cryptocurrencies, decentralization and fintech are some of the hot topics in my mind right now.
Especially, the impact BTC can have in the future of transparency, corruption, dismantle of status quo, democratic systems, etc.

So, in your opinion, what are the major potential changes BTC will operate in our societies in the next 10 to 20 years?
Which are the the impacts you see as worthy of being scientifically researched?

Thank you in advance for any input you might have to give me.

In our country people are using bitcoin as an alternative medium of exchange, (this only occurs to people who are aware of crypto) the convenience of crypto currency and having a local wallet in our country to conviniently change fiat-btc or vice-versa helped a lot of merchant transact with convenience and ease.

10 years time is a long span of time, the advancement of technolgy happens fast, so there is no doubt that cryto is really a game-changer and who knows maybe by that time crypto will be avceptrd by most merchants and accepted by the government as an alternative payment method like plastic money.

1978  Economy / Reputation / Re: Why is Betcoin.ag allowed to delete all legitimate concerns on their behavior on: April 18, 2019, 07:37:20 PM
Betcoin.ag is allowed to delete all of the proof that they scam people in their threads?

Why is that allowed? This is probably the 25th time I've looked in on betcoin.ag's thread and seen a conversation having the other party's proof and discussion deleted so that betcoin.ag looks okay after they remove everything.

That thread would probably be 5000 pages instead of 81 if they didn't delete the negative proof of their behavior.

Why is that allowed?

I guess that is how self moderated thread works. It is helpful to avoid some users spamming and posting unnecessary posts. However, there are instances that this is abused which can raise suspicion especially when you are deleting scam accussations. Wouldn't it be better to resolve or answer an accussation just to delete it to clean one's reputation?   Huh
1979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KRAKEN DELISTING BSV, We are all Satoshi on: April 18, 2019, 06:51:27 PM
Yes, of course, they should delist that shit over their platform. Craig has been doing a lot of shit yearly trying to prove something BSV is one of those shit. Bitcoin is from Satoshi and BSV is from Craig, not Craig doing both ends.

I think Binance was the first one to delist it after Binance CEO warned Craig for attacking people who says he is not satoshi on twitter. I am actually tired reading about Craig claiming to be satoshi. He is becoming a laughing stock in crypto. I guess he wants all the attention he is gainig right now. Grin
1980  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2-minute “hardware wallet backups – safety vs. security” survey on: April 18, 2019, 06:44:04 PM
Wallet security is really a priority when you are investing in crypto, especially if you are holding a huge amount of crypto. I have lost a huge amount of money in an online wallet before, not to mention online wallet where I forgot my pass codes.  Grin

So,  I chose to have my own hardware wallet, so the only thing I do to secure my wallet is to keep my recovery phrase OFFLINE. I think this is sufficient since I don't actually use my hardware wallet a lot since I only use it when I put additional crypto which I am planninh to hold long-term.

Anyway, thanks for additional ideas for keeping iur wallet secured.
