1981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Get in while you still can!! on: December 23, 2017, 10:24:37 AM
I will get in when I am sure the market has finished pumping and everyone is out trying to take some profit. Yeah, this is some good coin with a lot of backing and support by some top crypto investors, but there is just one thing about me and getting into a coin that is already shooting to a huge peak.

Not my thing, and if I do not buy when it is very much stable or at dips, most especially for new altcoins, then count me out, if it likes, let it go to the moon, my loss!
1982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves Future! on: December 23, 2017, 07:15:28 AM
Hey Guys,

I am looking to buyu in on more waves with the current trend.
However I do have a question, what is the current status of Waves.
 - does anyone know when it will recieve a similar kind of status as Ethereum, or is the word already out?

I want to jump in the boat as soon as possible, but do not want to jump in an overbought market.
what do you feel will happen?
There is no one that can ever know the answer to the question you are asking. The only thing I can tell you is that it would stay relevant in its game and there is future for it, so if you want to buy now, you can buy. If by status, you are referring to the value, then you can make use of coinmarketcap. Waves is not an overbought market yet and the earlier you jump in now the better before you miss on a good train.
1983  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is going down. on: December 23, 2017, 06:40:53 AM
Bitcoin will adjust downwards and then further increase to 20,000-25,000 USD. But many people will favor switching to the top 20 coin
Switching to top 20 coins will not work here bro, if you had taken a look at the charts of all of them, you will know by now that they are like the worst to even want to get in to as they are really taking a huge fall as well. There is always the thing with other alts following bitcoin with the trend whenever it is falling and that is the reason why you should just stay with bitcoin than trying to find solace in alts as you will experience the same fate.
1984  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will reach 20k price point before Christmas on: December 22, 2017, 04:49:30 PM
I would like Bitcoin to relax in the 18000s and 19000s for the next 8 days and then wake up Christmas morning to $20k Bitcoin...though it will probably pass it before then. oh well.  Tongue
Honestly, this is what I really wish but that should be expected now or there could still be some possibility of seeing bitcoin tests that huge stage again. We cannot always keep having bull runs for a long time, the bulls and the bears at some point will have the time of the year to relax and that would really give it an opportunity to start testing the tops again but for now we are just Okay with that huge buy ins.

There was a pretty much huge corrections in last 2 days. However, that does not mean, they are normal and does not mean we cannot test that top again. I would not be surprise as this is much expected anyway but at the same time, I will try to keep myself a braised to be sure that I am making the right decisions as well as the market is full of uncertainty right now, but no need to be worry as the future is bright.
1985  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ideas on value in 2018 on: December 22, 2017, 03:46:48 PM
In my opinion it will continue up to the $20,000 value for sure ,There is a possibility that it will landed for that value because of the price of bitcoin many are getting interested or intrigue about the price of bitcoin, Many people are suggesting to just invest because the price would surely surge up in the years to come.
It would be better to really see at that top right now with the whole lot of bears not allowing the market to rise right now. The correction was imminent though but I never really expected it to get to that level of correction but I guess we all see that coming.

We still have some days before the year ends, and it may take a lot of days to even get back to the previous top, but if we do, then we should see that value.
1986  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimum coin to begin trading? on: December 22, 2017, 12:44:12 PM
It is adviceable that you start small if you have no experience in trading so that that you can minimize your loss or better still reduce your risk in bitcoin term.
And it is even more advisable to learn first and not try your hands on trading, no matter how little the fund is, as you will end up losing everything without still ending up to learn anything after all.

A lot of people have missed their road this way by trying the Do-It-Yourself route and that is a mistake any reasonable person do not want to make and unless you have some brain that can start doing analysis immediately without learning, then it is best to stick learning or holding.
1987  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Question from Newbie on: December 22, 2017, 11:52:14 AM
If you have money to spare you can buy ledger nano s to store your Bitcoins but if you prefer online storage, you can go with Blockchian.info. managing your coins is easy since you mentioned that you are into trading so most likely your coins are stored in a trading platform like Poloniex or Bittrex. Storing coins there is not advisable if you have no plans yet of buying trading pairs but if you already have, I would worry more on how to earn more BTC than managing it. Selecting the right trading pair is more worrisome than managing it.
For someone who is really going to be storing a lot, this should be the best form of storage as your assets are very safe and you have the full control over them. As long as you do not throw it away, then you are always going to be good with the security aspect. However, if you cannot afford this, I will advise a desktop wallet instead.

Be careful though as desktop wallets are as safe as your PC but at least, if you are careful enough with security of your PC, you will have full control of your funds. You can do some research on Jaxx and Exodus, but I so much prefer Exodus instead.
1988  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do people actually buy coins with real life money? on: December 22, 2017, 08:26:56 AM
The demand is high. A lot of websites are selling out with fees of 6-8 %. Last year it was only geeks and dreamers who invested, this year is the commoner. People are talking about it everywhere now, its in the media all the time etc. and its very In to say you own bitcoins.
The demand has really gotten huge. Gone are those days when you can just easily register on an exchange and get your verification done within a split of minutes, but now a days it has been a tough one for these exchanges, having to verify a lot of the new users and with the intention of upgrading every now and then as they just keep coming non-stop.
1989  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoin ? which one will be the best to invest in 2018? on: December 21, 2017, 06:45:19 AM
It is a hard question to answer. LOL
Try to invest to both of them. altcoins will just ride the rise of bitcoins market value. Afterall, it is because of the altcoins why its price is going up.
Not really that hard, it is just plain investment and in any investment, it is always good to diversify. Like you have said, the main thing is to just focus on finding good altcoins to invest in while adding bitcoin as well and watch all of them grow over the years.

A lot of alts if anyone has been holding have done very good this year and that shows that no good project or coin can be sidelined.

If you are an investor, it is just better to invest in as much as you can invest in. The altcoin market are booming now and as long as you can find a pretty good project to invest in, it is better to just stick with it and make it rain for you in the long run with the profit. Diversification is necessary in this industry and it is just better not to miss the chance on any good coin.
1990  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will be stable Bitcoin Price? on: December 21, 2017, 05:57:50 AM
Bitcoin is never stable for more than a couple weeks at a time. Sometimes there is a year or two where prices stay within the same order of MAGNITUDE, which occurs after a steep crash.
Well bitcoin is one of the fast growing currency in market and still there are a lot of countries trying to join bitcoin and when any country or company join bitcoin so it increased it price and recently Indian bank also accept bitcoin so these are the factors where bitcoin price is going high and not going to stable on one place a time will come that it's price will be stable on high price now a days bitcoin is surviving and in this kind of situation we can also survive.
it is really growing fast and that is concerning too as well. Bitcoin has really shown some massive increase this year, but not just bitcoin, so many other alts are really having that push and I am not surprised really while seeing them doing great as a lot of investors are looking for huge profit and believing that they can get in at the time when the market still seem cool to earn some huge profit in the long run and that to me is not something I would have really wanted and I just don't also like the way the devs are lagging with this whole transaction bullshit honestly.
1991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hold Bitcoins or buy Altcoins with it on: December 20, 2017, 04:23:36 AM
I am more interested to buying altcoins that have potential to go up well for end year. Because, usually altcoin often experience an unexpected surge. However, holding bitcoin also not a bad idea.
Most times, one may not really know some of these coins except for some that are really in their huge dips and are pretty much undervalued right now. They would always seem the best to buy at any moment considering the level at which they can go just in a couple of days.

A lot of them have shown that improvement right now and it still seems this is the huge month for alts anyway, so considering diversifying some part of one's folio into alts won't be a bad idea for profit.
1992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Rising on: December 20, 2017, 02:44:33 AM
If you want some short-term investments with ethereum then wait for bitcoin to be pumped again then buy some ethereum, if the bitcoin's value stabilizes then sell your ethereum, hope that this cycle repeats many times. If you want to make it as your long-term investment then I think that is the best way to invest with ethereum, it will definitely go higher and you will make a sufficient profit.
Ethereum is not a coin that should be used for short term trading, if that is what you want to do then I cannot stop you but ethereum is a coin to hold for the long term, eventually the amount of money you are going to make with it is going to be greater than anything some other investment could give you.
Yes, Ethereum has really shown a lot of improvement with a lot of upward trend this year alone and I am sure it would still show more by next year. This has always been a good coin to hold and there is no doubt that early investors are really going to be happy now.

I would not say some other investments may not give up to that as there are so many coins that may still end up having some huge run pretty soon as they have some strong devs too and I would not put my eggs only in Ethereum.
1993  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to trade efficiently? on: December 19, 2017, 02:03:37 PM
I know that it varies from people to people and their strategies but there must be some important and basic points which people tend to forget all the time .
Of course I don't want you to reveal your trading strategy but some good tips that would really help me out.

I think daily trading is too much stressful and time consuming. We are trying to make money to be able to do what we wanna do. And all the things we wanna do are gonna make us happy. If you get overwhelmed with daily trading success, you will fail at the first step of being happy. I think it this way. Long term investment to solid coins is the best option in this point of view.
It is highly stressful. I remembered when I started trading like this and I ended up getting myself so worked up than I can ever imagine and if not that I was really using much to trade, which I was able to get some good profit, I would not classify it as something worth it. It is always better instead to look for good trading positions and then do your thing. That is absolutely much better.

The tip to OP is if you are sure you know what you are doing and you have your strategies, you do not need to over work yourself. All you need to do is to always find a good market and use your analysis to find the best position to get in.

with some applications like coinigy, you can set alarms to notify you when that value is hit and then you enter your trade. With that, you can be making a whole lot trading without stress.
1994  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: are the majority of the people part time traders? on: December 19, 2017, 08:57:17 AM
I mean of all the people who are trading do majority just do it as a side job for just a little profit or most of the traders dedicated traders who don't have any side jobs?
What type of trader are you?

Yes, many traders are just improvised gamblers. They don't understand trading is a serious and very difficult job, that's why they end up losing.
I don't trade since I don't have much time to learn it. Better to buy and hold.
Absolutely right! A lot of traders really do not have any strategy and that is exactly gambling and not trading. However, for those who have good knowledge about trading, they are doing well for themselves as there is lot of opportunities to get from the trading world.

Trading is different and it depends on the path each trader wants to thread, but with some knowledge, you really do not need too much time to make a good trade.
1995  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is now $13k, what's next? on: December 19, 2017, 08:16:40 AM
Bitcoin continues to lead to better value. This still includes an early trip. Later bitcoin really a dream investment choice for people who are struggling to improve their economic conditions to be more certain.
Yes this is right that the price of bitcoin reaches to $19000 which is high popular property of bitcoin that it reaches to that level and no other cryptocurrency has that power to reaches to that point but what will happened next to the price of bitcoin no one knows, I think the price of BTC will increases because people all over the world now attracted towards bitcoin. Bitcoin price will hopefully continue increasing its price for a long long time.
in fact, we are just starting the journey of price increase because bitcoin is not even ready to start this journey yet and what we are seeing is a lot of trend changing every time as we keep testing new ATHs. Now that we have taken the step on the $19000 mark, I am sure before the end of this year, we may actually be looking at bitcoin hitting over $21000 and then the journey continues by next year.
1996  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin ever be $5,000 again? on: December 19, 2017, 05:23:19 AM
We don't know yet if bitcoin price decrease and go back at $5k, remember bitcoin is no permanent or stable value. but I think its better to invest if happen because for sure after few days the price will increase again, possible it will recover again and  you will earn profit for sure if that happen. In fact the price of bitcoin will continue to increase more nowadays many people had earn a lots of profit for sure.
Bitcoin right now is on a bullish long ride and we may just have to keep seeing the value increasing as we keep moving up. No one knows what bitcoin would end up as and the price is sure volatile as a lot of people are not so certain about their investments yet and weaker hands can easily be shaken off, but $5000 is a dream that can never come true as far as I am concerned. I may be wrong, but that would be hard to see.
1997  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you regret selling your BTCs? on: December 19, 2017, 04:20:43 AM
4 years ago, I am unemployed so I sold most of bitcoin for the period $ 200-500 per bitcoin (about 2 bitcoins per week) for personal spending, pay rent house fees. I don't regret because I need to live at that time. I just dream that If I got a work at that times, I became rich with over 1 million dollars  Grin
Most times we just have to accept things the way they come. Sure, if you had a job, things would have been different, and who knows, it may not have been.

Remember that human needs are insatiable and even with your salary, you could have wanted to live well, or at least have some other things to spend on which you could not since you were limited, but I feel your pains bro, and no matter what, it is the future that counts anyway and nothing is unchangeable as long as you try your best towards achieving them.
1998  Other / Archival / Re: Which one is more risky? Skill-based gambling or trading? on: December 18, 2017, 08:31:01 AM
Most skill bases gambling are pvp or team vs team and there are factors that any analyst can study to come up with a decent prediction. Much the same with trading. So personally, skill based gambling and trading gives you pretty much the same chances if you do your research well

In the end it depends on wether you are lucky or not because no matter how skilled you are, if you are not lucky then everything is over for you. The main point is still being lucky, if we are lucky even if we are supposed to lose then we can turn the tide with our luck however the hard thing is being lucky and win the game all the time
Yes, gambling is a pure luck based thing while experience only helps you to tackle small situations in gambling but the main factor over which gambling revolves is luck.

If a gambler is in his beginning of gambling but is lucky enough, he would be able to defeat the person who has spent years in this gambling but at that time experience surrenders in front of luck which completely shows that gambling is luck based.
1999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can you save money while playing gambling games? on: December 18, 2017, 07:51:14 AM
If you really want to play gambling that you not losing any of your money then find a gambling that has a faucet it side and then play with it until you grow them and save them after this is the way on how you can play without spending and losing your own money it is like you were going to put some time on it before reaching your final goals and if you won the game at least save them and never tried to lose it because you put much effort into it bud.
Unless you want to wait for the coins in the faucet to grow, there is no way it can really make much sense gambling those cash as you will end up losing them back anyway. It would take years to build the faucet enough to be able to have a bankroll that is good enough to gamble with and after that, you have to consider the possibilities of losing a lot as well.

People may plan up free of cost gambling by using faucets but in practical zero cost gambling will never be possible unless otherwise you are rare to gambling.
2000  Economy / Economics / Re: Why did you choose bitcoin? on: December 18, 2017, 07:02:30 AM
Being an part of the asset that has gained reputation is better than being on the one that is to gain reputation. Bitcoin as an technology based asset has gained won the minds of millions through its multiple usage providing way of life. Similarly several altcoins too seems growing, though they have the goodness, what they are now is small compared to bitcoin which makes people prefer bitcoin.
Altcoins have been growing right from the onset and they will always grow and in the next few years, even some that are still undervalued now will still grow. However, one thing with bitcoin is that it is steady and the growth is not like alts, which at a point they may be growing now and then before you know it they are taking a huge slope downward.

Bitcoin is just about starting and there is so much for it and the crypto at large but we cannot just put all our eggs in a basket, can we?
