Site def. needs to be faster

Should hopefully be running a little smoother again. Having to delete earlier bet rows as our database is filling up a little too quick. Anticipated PD3 a lot sooner  Wink
1982  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer warning - marjamrob on: July 13, 2014, 04:22:37 PM
Markjam is  claiming a payment for ~.1BTC for signature participation despite my updated terms not allowing scammers. I'd be more than happy to send it to you instead.

Sent you a PM

Well deserved! Congrats man Smiley

A ton of work was just lifted off the shoulders of the other staff members

Is this for PD now, or when PD3 is launched, also any idea on what time frame you will have to make the video?

PD3. And we'll probably allocate a couple of weeks.

It doesn't have to be anything flashy. It just needs to be an interesting and view worthy video displaying PrimeDice's gameplay & features in an entertaining way!

Also Stunna, not sure if the hot wallet is empty, but Jebby is waiting on a large cashout.

Sent about an hour ago. Was 30 minutes delayed since hot wallet wasn't having a good day   Cheesy

Another day, another sneak peak at one of the many give aways...

... To all you people who like to make Youtube videos or have experience with that sort of stuff, we will be giving 5 BTC away (1st place 2BTC, 2nd place 1BTC, 3rd place 0.5BTC then the next 6 0.25BTC) to the people who make the best PrimeDice 3 montages/videos and post them on Youtube. These videos can be of anything; funny chat moments, whales winning big, lucky faucet wins, intense PvP matches etc. It could even be a video that isn't just a screen recording of the PrimeDice page. Be creative and simply make a fun to watch video with PrimeDice in it!!
1988  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: July 11, 2014, 07:49:14 AM
I'll also have users include a date to avoid confusion. Obviously it won't be perfect but it'll still build the hype I'm looking for Smiley
1989  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular Bitcoin Game! | 700M+ Bets | 390k+ BTC Wagered | on: July 11, 2014, 04:49:58 AM
A quick sneak peak at one of our many giveaways we will be doing for Primedice 3 launch...

... The first person to unlock every achievement will receive a massive 25 BITCOIN Smiley And this is definitely not going to be our biggest giveaway either.. Stay tuned Smiley

Achievements are related to number of bets, wagered, chat activity, referring players, profit etc. There's a total of 26 of them. They are definitely not impossible to achieve! I suspect it won't take long for someone to take the cake.

Edit: This offer expired at end of 2014.
1990  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: July 11, 2014, 04:46:07 AM
Primedice3 is soon to launch. And the official countdown is about to start.

When I say so (I will send out a mass PM when), all members will need to change their signature daily to create a "count down" effect.

Example:

On the 18th (Not actual date just example) I PM everyone saying change your signature to "PrimeDice3 launching in 10 days". Everyone will do so.
On the 19th everyone changes their signature to "PrimeDice3 launching in 9 days". Everyone will do so.
On the 20th everyone changes their signature to "PrimeDice3 launching in 8 days". Everyone will do so.

This will only take you guys about 30 seconds a day to do. If you for some reason you miss a day that's perfectly fine. Just make sure when your posting your signature always aligns up with the current count down date.

No one will be disqualified for not doing this, but it'd be greatly appreciated for the very small amount of work it'll take for you guys Smiley.

Cheers guys & as always thanks for the continued support!!

Does anyone know if primedice has a record of statistics? E.g. how many profit they have made?
If you need more information about this then go to site and check support email and send them hope they will reply you with all details

PrimeDice3 already supports very transparent statistics about the website.
1992  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Should I take that trip to Tokyo? on: July 10, 2014, 10:25:46 PM
As those who have lost money in the gox fiasco know, the creditors hearing is on July 23. Being in Manila right now I consider taking the trip and showing up in person at the court for that meeting.

The questions is however whether it is worth my time + expenses. Tokyo is a very expensive city and as such I would only stay there for 2 days for the hearing and then fly right back to Manila where I live right now.

The total costs, including flight and hotel, are by my estimation around 900 Eur, which is ~4% of the money I lost in gox. That being said, I've never been to japan and know basically nothing about that country.

If you were me, would you take that flight?

?

Unless you really want to go explore Japan I wouldn't bother. Save the money or buy yourself something nice with it.

Magicaltux/Ukyo no longer showing for me on default, perhaps Theymos saw this and removed? I'm quite sure I saw them under default when I made that post.
1994  Economy / Services / Re: Those who rent out signature space---Unite! on: July 10, 2014, 12:16:26 PM
We do our best to act as ethically and transparent as possible and I feel that users of this site know that we honor our word/payment as long as they do not spam.
1995  Other / Meta / Re: members that are part of the default trust list not active on: July 09, 2014, 11:06:26 PM
I was wondering how come members that are no longer active are still in the default trust list?  for example Kouye is on that list and he hasnt been here since march, he should be taken off.

Even if they are inactive they each have users they've trusted which can leave trusted feedback viewable by anyone with default depth level (2). Also I don't see Kouye on default trust, funny enough MagicalTux(mark karpeles) is on it though.

Also Ukyo is on default still:

EDIT: They've been removed it seems.
1996  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin Story (console me) on: July 09, 2014, 10:55:36 PM
You may have not have won the lottery but you have ten happy friends, a solid motorcycle and a 25BTC error'd coin all at a cost of $1500. Sounds pretty good to me.
1997  Economy / Gambling / Re: Where to invest now? on: July 09, 2014, 01:48:53 PM
Bitcoin itself is a very strong investment. If you're investing with anyone other than doog it is probably a -EV move. There are too many ways for operators to swindle investors and nobody has a solid enough reputation or provable scheme to hold investments currently.

I'd just put your coins in coldstorage and check the price every month or so and watch your investment grow (at least in terms of $).

Congrats to him, quite a few big winners recently this happened about 1-2 hours ago:

Holy cow, that's some pretty good luck. I'm probably hassling you, but any ETA on PD3 yet, given that we're something like 5(?) months behind when you initially suggested it might be released. On a side note, what has been the cause of the delay thus far?

PD3 is in private testing currently, all features are done. Basically as soon as we're fully confident in the security of the website we'll launch.

The primary cause of the delay was issues with a developer, half the site was completed and then our developer had other obligations and was unable to devote enough time towards PD. Another big time drain was PVP and working to make the site as scalable/efficient as possible given all the issues with PD2.

I'm more eager than anyone to see the new site go live, but given that there has already been such a delay it would be a shame if we launched something buggy/broken.

Can't wait to see the peer to peer betting. Is there a house edge also when gambling PvP?

Nope Smiley The first way to conveniently gamble your Bitcoins without any -EV

You've heard of peerbet right?  I was a peerbet fan for a long time.  It would be great if you've managed to improve on their model and make it viable.

Yep, but peerbets model didn't cater for big bettors very well. It also didn't have the same level of simplicity or excitement involved. Peerbet was more of a p2p raffle system. I suppose a better way to say it is our system is the first way to dice your coins without -ev.

We're keeping it SIMPLE, EASY TO USE and most of all FUN. And by fun we're not making it anything corny or moving away from our simplicity ideology Smiley.
