1061  Other / Meta / Re: Why is EAL is moderator but not on DT? on: August 06, 2015, 03:39:23 PM
Being a moderator and being on default trust are two different things. The majority of members on default trust aren't moderators. Staff aren't necessarily trusted as far as trades go, they just need to be reliable with moderation policy.

Dont treat a staff member any different than any other member, we don't have any personal info about each other, and staff could just as easily scam as anyone else.

This exactly. EAL has also been accused by myself and others of engaging in unethical activity on this forum, and was unable to provide a reasonable explanation. Many members of the forum staff are trustworthy but it is due to other reasons than them simply being staff.

Note that in that second mentioned case: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=970157.0 it was proven that he was leaving his alt accounts (pandacoin etc) positive trust from EAL. If he was added to DT I would negative trust him.
1062  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: August 06, 2015, 03:21:59 PM

For some reason I believe the awful slow speed of bets is the number one reason of the problem. When I bet auto and it goes slower then manual one I go crazy. I want to bet as quickly as possible and primedice can't provide that like most new places. Customer service is the number 2 problem to me after the crazy slow speed.

There's only a delay on bets that are dust sized, if you bet at least 0.001 at a time the speeds should be significantly quicker.

We're working on improving support and should have an update on that soon. The majority of issues are still forgotten passwords though and if you have not set an email despite the frequent warnings to do-so I recommend simply creating a new account if you do not have a balance. I've had limited internet access the past few weeks which is also to blame for support delays, getting that resolved now.

Primedice whitdraw sistem is using low fees? i have an unconfirmed transaction from about 8 hours, in the tx it show medium priority... Undecided Undecided

I think a even transactions with only 0.0001 fees happen with medium priority these days sometimes. I would suggest primedice to increase it to 0.0002 if possible , or maybe add the option to do so.

I doubt there's a need to do that for now, because it seams that attacks are lowered in intensity, or have stopped.
https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions

Doubling up the transaction fee would be considered unnecessary and potentially unwanted by many people, maybe giving an option when withdrawing would be a better idea.

cheers

The fees we use haven't ever been an issue.

Someone appears to have been spending ~$900/hr to execute a spam attack on bitcoin earlier.

A 0.0001 fee should be attached to each withdrawal. Kindly PM me your transaction ID if you get the chance and I'll take a quick look and make sure there's no issue on our end.

To add additional comments, reply to this email."
And the second at 28/7:
"Your request (1241) has been received and is being reviewed by our support staff.

To add additional comments, reply to this email."

For Primedice Staff!
_God Bless U_

Hey i just forwarded your ticket numbers to dev directly . So should be sorted ASAP. (edit: its looked at now)  Sorry for waiting that long.

Support is a bit slow.
But there is a good news , dev is working on ACP for custom access so they will be able to add new support staff very soon.

The username you provided in both tickets was incorrect, I managed to figure out what account you were referring to though given the TX ID. I've provided you instructions on how you can recover your account using your email on file via your ticket.

Thanks

So Stunna how about answering the question I asked. Yoou stated that you felt it didn't effect EAL's ability to moderate here.

~BCX~

You quoted my answer to that question in your post, I'm not going to continue responding here. As mentioned in my previous post, I've posted all relevant information and the mods/staff can make their decision. My objective was simply to start a discussion not a flamewar.

Previous thread for reference: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1131063.0

1. The MAX button has been proven rigged.

So, where is the proof? If everything is provably fair, how exactly are they cheating users? Would love to hear more about this, please explain.

I just did a simple test on it.
After clicking the max button, neither my server seed hash nor client seed have been changed. The nonce is correctly increased by one.
I have also checked that the server seed revealed does match with the hash given prior to the bet. The numbers rolled also matches with the ones I computed using the code on https://primedice.com/verify

OP, proof please?

I'm waiting to see that proof as well. What I will say is there are ways for provably fair casinos to "rig" bets that would potentially go undetected if players aren't vigilant. Ultimately this is proof that we would never do that and to this point in bitcoin gaming I think there stands no greater test of an operator's fairness than the hufflepuff incident [Wouldn't we have noticed the exploit immediately if we had attempted to rig the bets?]

I'm sorry you had a bad experience and lost your funds, but we gave you the fairest experience possible in online gaming from an edge and fairness perspective. And best of all, you don't have to take my word for it.
1069  Other / Meta / Re: EAL should be considered for demotion on: July 26, 2015, 12:46:00 AM

...(previous sniviling) ......This doesn't effect his ability to moderate this forum but I will never do business with him again. I'll lock this in a few days, I'm not upset about the minimal amount of money but rather the persistent dishonesty from him.

Then why create a thread called "EAL should be considered for demotion" if you felt it didn't effect his ability to moderate?

You really don't feel that way.

What happened is you seen none of the powers that be gave a flying shit about your claims.

You're trying to keep from looking like you got it shoved right back in your face.

So why don't you own up to your "trivial matter" here.

You PWND yourself on EAL's behalf.

~BCX~

In general it wouldn't effect his ability to moderate, but if someone were to offer EAL 0.1BTC to lock/move a thread they didn't like would you trust that EAL would decline? What you're missing is the fact that EAL was a staff member I trusted on this forum and he abused my trust on two occasions and will continue to retain a staff position.

At the end of the day this comes down to whether or not you think trustworthiness is an important factor for forum staff, it's clear to me that he abused the forum giveaway and then told a very weak lie to cover it up.

I've left him neutral feedback noting the situation and will lock this thread as this honestly isn't worth further argument. I'm not trying to ruin his livelihood (staff get paid AFAIK), all I wanted was an apology rather than a lie.

1070  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: July 26, 2015, 12:34:33 AM
I got a question about running a bot on pd. I have 2 VPS's and I ran a PD bot on each, but I appears both are banned. The time between bets was 1 bet per 0.6 sec. Just trying to determine why I have been banned and conform to what doesn't get you banned? Anybody have insite as to why?

You wouldn't be banned for something like that. If you failed to login to your account after a certain number of attempts it will be temporarily locked, try again in an hour.
1071  Other / Meta / Re: EAL should be considered for demotion on: July 24, 2015, 05:57:26 AM
Here are the two Pm's I received from him.

Hi, I saw your thread about me in Meta. I'm using Google Zenmate as most of the Turkish people use the same service. Because in Turkey there are internet restrictions, you can't even open YouTube or Twitter without VPN. Zenmate is the most popular free VPN service in Turkey. It gives similar IP's most of the time.
I don't have any intentions about gaming system for such small amounts. I don't know who PM'd you but I don't really care, because I do my job pretty good and I never abuse my moderator power. I wish you PM'd me before opening that thread.

I messaged him back and pointed out that the IP's were turkish IP addresses and not VPNs. And how he's basically arguing that he uses a popular VPN which is a turkish IP to bypass restrictions placed on turkish IP's. I asked him to own up to what he did and I would remove the trust placed on him and lock the thread which I thought was a super reasonable way to deal with this situation.

In response he replied with.

I'm dealing with serious RL issues right now.
For some reason people believe that almost all Turkish accounts belong to me, I don't know why, I'll try to resolve that with my ISP when I'm going back to home. Turkish ISP is some kind of monopoly, could be the reason.
If you think it effects you financially -even though I know it's not- you can count it as my signature payment I didn't request last month. Money is not the issue. Life is too short to break hearts.

So basically, according to EAL everyone in Turkey has the same IP address as him and this is an issue with his ISP.

Feel free to form your own opinions based on this. I've left him neutral rather than negative trust. I'm disappointed he was unwilling to come clean over such a trivial and forgivable matter. This doesn't effect his ability to moderate this forum but I will never do business with him again. I'll lock this in a few days, I'm not upset about the minimal amount of money but rather the persistent dishonesty from him.

Do you remember Hufflepuff on PrimeDice, the guy who stole 2000 BTC? (not me lol, he's the bad guy D, i found two other big website with the same vulnerability (before Stunna reveal what Hufflepuff did ^^, hehe now, i know Hufflepuff did same exploit that i had discovered a long time ago, after Stunna reveal how he exploited), beside raping like Hufflepuff did, i gave them same offer i gave you, and they paid me near (exploited value 80 BTC each) as reward.

We never paid out a 80 BTC bounty, if I'm reading this properly then this "hacker" is a liar.
1073  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: July 23, 2015, 12:33:44 PM
Over 2 week and my issue still is not SOLVED. 1 btc stolen from my account you can see in posts in past. But still nothing solved. Support doesn't answer. Stunna said 1 day later he will let me know about all. And 2 week passed. Nothing comes. Stunna doesn't write. Or support. What is it really?

I don't think they offer support for stolen coins. It's the users issue.

Please use a secure password and if possible 2FA and keep your device secure. I've previously responded to your issue via PM and it simply isn't an issue on our end.

Oh, I don't know if your recent giveaway was only one per person but I strongly believe that most of if not all of the following accounts belong to the same person (Eal f Skills). If you check their accounts on PD I'm sure you'll find some correlation (same IPs/proxies or more likely a shared computer etc - unless he's been very smart):

We missed these giveaways. Smiley

Almost all of the above accounts that are claiming the PD giveaway share the same Non Tor/VPN IP as EAL on their Primedice accounts. This is petty low level giveaway scamming, I wouldn't trust EAL given this information and I don't think he should remain a Staff member of this forum.

I'd like to hear more opinions on this as it isn't malicious "scamming", it's just dishonest behavior/abuse. What really pisses me off is that I've paid him for half a year to advertise PD and dealt with him in an honest and professional manner and he chose to game our bitcointalk giveaway for such a trivial amount. I had previously positive trusted him twice.

1078  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Primedice's Scammers on: July 09, 2015, 05:48:03 AM
That's what I hate from PD's chat , I forgot their usernames , I received 2 different private messages from 2 users , but I am not dumb enough to trust them.

Most of the attempted scams are super obvious like doubling and lending, what users should actually be careful of is people gaining your trust and then trying to phish, SE, or have you download/run a script etc.
1079  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Primedice's Scammers on: July 09, 2015, 05:42:28 AM
It's a bit crazy that people still fall for this in 2015. There's no such thing as "bitcoin doubling" and if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. That being said, I can still verify this and mute those users.
I know but i had been scammed all my coins, mate. I need a refund please, 0.136. You can take it from their account.
It was my first time on Primedice and i didn't knew anything about that, please refund it to my account: DrFamous

I am waiting for a reply.

We won't reverse a voluntary transaction like that, I don't know any service that would. Please be more careful in the future and learn from this lesson. Ultimately the fault lies partially within you for trusting someone making such an illogical claim (doubling).

False. Dr.Famous kept telling me I could have it for free, and to try and double it. He told me to "try and refund" if I lose. I basically just gambled for em

Kinda funny I got muted lolz, shows how gullible admins are

Guess I'm not playing on PD no more......

You specifically stated that you would not repay him because he called you a "scammer". Also, one simply has to peruse your trust/post history to instantly see that you are a notorious scammer. I could care less if you continue to play on the website, I have a strong feeling you will return on another account and try to scam more users anyways.

Edit: Spongeboob has been muted. I'll have to look into Earthbound more before muting.
