I love the fud. One of the best fud was: One of the dev would sell heroin

how can that be fud? it's well known, that many geniuses had a trip on their greatest discoveries...
203  Local / Projektentwicklung / Re: iOS Krypto-App on: September 12, 2017, 12:21:26 PM

Was nutzt Ihr für Apps?

204  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: Bitcoin & die Steuer - FAQ on: September 02, 2017, 01:06:46 PM
Hallo zusammen,

With the number of IDs they got in their hand, VISA approval is definitely on the way .
Even TenX couldn't come up with that before their approval.

If this does not work for one, then it may not work for the second. It's a marketing mistake, to issue a card without support, but to tell customers what's on the way. The game of roulette is not all loved and therefore outraged.

Its a hen egg problem. You need people for approval but you only get people with the visa name. So they removed the visa logo and probably made a contract with visa, that they get the approval with a certain amount of users. Tada...

Do you need a bicycle without a seat? You can ride, but not far away and your ass will hurt Smiley
People are willing to pay for protection and convenience, not just for the service.

if you don't have enough money for a seat, but you need a bike to go to work, so go to work with the bike without the seat for some time, then you can afford a seat...

They say a Ruby Steel costs 50 MCO and a Precious Metal 500 MCO: https://blog.ethereumwisdom.com/2017/08/31/monaco-launches-mobile-app-bring-cryptocurrencies-every-wallet/
As I understand, I just have to hold 50 MCO Token for 6 months, but I don´t have to pay 50 MCO´s, right?

correct

1K$ limit? which timeframe? monthly? daily? yearly?

tell me it is per DAY?!  if it is $1k/months LOL that is a joke and totally useless.

its per month, but its getting CASH on the atm. And its only the free amount. you can still get more with charge...
who the hell is using a payment card on an atm anyway... you go to a seller and pay with it...
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: August 31, 2017, 12:08:15 PM
If you truly believe in this project, there's no need to panic. You can either wait this out and hold till VISA approval is obtained or sell and sit on the sidelines, follow that issue develop closely and buy when u know it's gonna happen.

In all cases, this was at least terrible PR from MONACO. They failed to manage people's expectations and keep them abreast with developments. It's totally fine to have the VISA approval still in the works and just launch the APP today, but people need to know this well beforehand. In your whitepaper, you need to explain exactly what "going live" means.

Anyways, if you are not able to wait this out, it's fine to sell and fight another day. Maybe you will forgo some profit, but at least save yourself the psychological tormenting. Most importantly, avoid wishful thinking. If you just WANT price to rebound it's not gonna happen; there has to be some good reason for it to happen.

Noone panics... its just a typical "sell the news" reaction. Even with the visa logo it would have been this way...
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: August 31, 2017, 11:43:19 AM
Not seeing the app in iOS. Anybody stateside see it in the app store?

Monaco will be rolled out globally in stages, as each region requires separate issuing capabilities; we remain fully committed to be 100% compliant with local regulations in every market we are targeting — we begin with Asia, followed by Europe (Q4 2017) and North America (2018); first cards are expected to ship end of September, with weekly card shipments gradually increasing from October till the end of the year; we expect demand to massively outpace supply in the first 12 months, so users are encouraged to reserve their cards early

the app should be already there anyway, i guess...

215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: August 31, 2017, 11:36:09 AM
unfortunately things going to get uglier if app launches without visa support.
and imo it is the case here.

tomorrow things gonna get much more uglier if they come out without visa.

trying to tell people here for days.but no,everybody is buying a lambo.

I can also buy a lambo without the visa logo, if the amount of accepting sellers is the same...
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: August 31, 2017, 11:27:55 AM
The price goes down because you cannot register. You get no email. It doesn't work.

Exactly ! Bad news for the MCO  Embarrassed

oh my god, just wait, it will come...
If thousands of people are registering, the mail server will be quite busy...
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: August 31, 2017, 11:22:33 AM
wtf ? what happens with price ? why it goes so quickly to down ?

No Visa contract... it seems... Looks pretty bad atm

I think team will announce about that in next update if you look over the recent this part 1 so stay tuned more. People are getting panic not to hear about VISA in that update even this app got released have patience soon it will be there.

if they write about 40 million sellers its not that important anyway. visa and mastercard have the same amount...
just makes it a little more easy and a better reputation...

sorry, seems like they removed it. it was actually in the older wallet version.

https://iotasupport.com/gui-newseed.shtml

but don't use power shell in windows...
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: August 30, 2017, 06:24:01 PM
Guys, what if somebody generates the same seed as i did and uses that to login into my wallet?

If i was able to generate that seed it is possible that somebody in the future generates the same one

Thats why you should generate a very complicated seed...
This is a fundamental thing in whole crypto space. You have problems with any coin (also bitcoin), if you don't create a safe private key.
But if you generate a random one (for example with the algorithm of the wallet) you are fine. Just make sure, that you don't use the random function of powershell of the lately announcment.

If this still seems unsafe for you, because you are new to this whole private key thoughts, I recommend this:
https://www.weusecoins.com/amazing-math-bitcoin-private-keys/

I've already generated a 81 digits key

Can i make it stronger?

hopefully not, you need letters, as all digits besides 9 are ignored...
if you ment characters and generated with the wallet there is no need to make it stronger
