Questo attacco al mercato è stato condotto lungo due direttrici. Da un lato l'Iran avrebbe venduto una fetta dei suoi Bitcoin, un'operazione capace di fruttare molto. Solo vendendo 50 bitcoin, in quel momento attestati sui 67mila dollari, Teheran avrebbe potuto guadagnare 3,35 milioni di dollari, cifra sufficiente a ripagare i 170 droni impiegati contro Israele. Dall'altro lato avrebbe operato sui futures scommettendo sulla diminuzione del mercato. «È un'operazione di leva per avere liquidità immediata. Se ad esempio l'Iran incassa con la vendita 130 milioni di dollari (la somma che il mercato ha perso nella notte del 13 aprile) e li immette nel mercato dei futures, dove probabilmente è entrato con una leva 100x, sicuro dell'andamento del mercato, ha moltiplicato l'investimento incassando 1,1 miliardi. Quindi nel mercato tradizionale sono andati in fumo 130 milioni di dollari e nei futures 1,5 miliardi, 1,1 dei quali finiti a Teheran che ha alterato tutto.con 50 btc hanno fatto "crollare" un mercato che muove qualche trilione di volume il giorno. Mi torna in mente un sito di un decennio fa con un rubinetto in cui risolvevi un chaptca e ti mandavano dei bitcoin, mi sembra 5 o giù di li. Tutti a declassarlo come pubblicità del cippo e poi viene fuori che lo aveva fatto sirius e funzionava veramente. Azz quanto vale quel rubinetto oggi Erano esattamente 5 bitcoin e il donatore era Gavin Andresen. In totale sono stati regalati 19.700 bitcoin, correva l'anno 2010. Ho aperto il sito e la recensione che mi ha girato, ci si mette circa 5 secondi, esagerando, a capire che è chiaramente una truffa. Eppure stavano pensando di metterci su soldi. Almeno hanno avuto l'accortezza di chiedere a qualcuno che ne sapeva un po' più di loro però quando ci chiediamo come la gente possa cascarci, ecco, esperienza personale praticamente in diretta con questo thread.

Roba che a guardare il PDF che mi ha inviato mi lacrimano gli occhi di sangue No, non si chiamava così. Ho anche letto velocemente la "recensione" che mi ha girato e non ho potuto fare a meno di chiedermi 1) come non potesse notare che era chiaramente stata tradotta con Google 2) il presunto autore di questa recensione era un tizio con un nome africano, tipo nigeriano, e c'era pure la foto. Sembrava quasi fatto apposta per fare proprio una scrematura dei possibili clienti e andare a prendere i più stupidi in assoluto perché. |

Anche successivamente, a seconda di come si svolgerà lo scenario, prima delle elezioni di settembre/ottobre non credo ci saranno chissà quali movimenti tudemuun. Certo, questo a seconda di come andrà male ora..
Comunque vada direi che saranno tutte ulteriori occasioni di acquisto a prezzi scontati, no? |

If they happened to enter the EU, they wouldn't be able to fly anywhere because you cannot carry a lot of cash and valuables like gold, jewelry, including watches, and cash. AFAIK the legal limit is somewhere around 20k EUR. So, in a situation where you have to migrate with a lot of money, bitcoin is the obvious choice.
If I remember correctly, in the European Union you can travel with up to 10k euro without declaring the money; if you have more than 10k euro with you, you can still travel but you are require to declare the money, if you don't and they discover you, the money will probably be confiscated until when your position is clarified. I think in the USA is pretty much the same but instead of 10k euro is $10k. But as I previously said, we're talking about declaring the money, not as a maximum limit you are allowed to bring with you. |

Dovrò contattare pure io l'assistenza clienti di Kraken perché sono bloccato: io avevo attivato il Global Settings Lock e ora per procedere con questa nuova verifica dati mi chiede di disattivarlo accedendo a Kraken Pro, il problema è che quando mi porta a Kraken Pro mi viene fuori di nuovo la finestra che dice che devo fornire informazioni supplementari e come opzioni mi da solamente il sign out oppure procedere con la verifica, e se scelgo la via della verifica mi dice che devo disattivare il Global Settings Lock... Praticamente sono bloccato in questo circolo infinito, mi sembra assurdo  Il global setting lock si disattiva dopo n giorni da quando hai cliccato per disabilitarlo. Il numero di giorni l'avevi scelto tu quando hai impostato il global setting lock. Se aspetti questi n giorni risolverai il problema. La funzione del global setting lock è proprio questa, ti arriva una email che ti dice: "guarda che hai attivato la disattivazione del global setting lock e tra n giorni potrai modificare impostazioni importanti dell'account" se non sei stato tu contatta l'assistenza perchè significa che il tuo account è compromosso (e hai questi n giorni di sicurezza per evitare che chi ti ha rubato l'account possa aggiungere il suo indirizzo bitcoin e svuotarti il conto..) Forse non mi sono spiegato bene: so perfettamente cosa sia il Global Settings Lock, provo a spiegare di nuovo il problema: - Devo aggiornare i dati - Per poterlo fare devo disattivare il GSL - Per disattivare il GLS devo accedere al profilo - Per accedere al profilo devo aggiornare i dati Ovviamente non ricevo nessuna email perché non posso arrivare al punto in cui ho effettivamente disattivato il GSL, il problema non è il tempo di attesa, è questo loop. Mi quoto giusto per aggiornare la situazione: avevo letto che Kraken stava avendo qualche problema dato che hanno ricevuto parecchie segnalazioni, io per pigrizia ho aspettato ad aprire un ticket non avendo fretta, ho appena provato a collegarmi di nuovo e ora sono riuscito ad accedere regolarmente al sito e rimuovere il GLS con effetto immediato usando la master key, quindi non ho dovuto aspettare dei giorni. Aggiornata la richiesta dati e tutto a posto. |

ma piu che altro chissà quando bitcoin diventerà una moneta in corso legale.... Valuta a corso legale non saprei, è anche possibile che non succeda mai nei paesi del primo mondo perché non so a quanti politici e governi faccia piacere perdere la possibilità di stampare moneta a piacimento. Casi come quelli di El Salvador sono diversi, stiamo parlando di piccoli stati, piccole economie che già si appoggiano a valute estere, quindi è completamente diverso. Discorso separato invece quello di un'adozione spontanea di massa, se Amazon, eBay, Apple, etc etc decidono accettare anche bitcoin allora sarebbe una grandissima vittoria in ogni caso. |

Catene fatte per arricchire pochissimi, impoverire tantissimi, distribuire prodotti scadenti e avvelenare il mondo Apro una piccola parentesi su questo aspetto: trovo assurdo che l'Unione Europea stia sempre lì a rompere le palle alla gente comune con normative sempre più rigide per la circolazione dei mezzi piuttosto che l'uso di certi combustili per scaldarsi, insomma cose basilari e necessarie per vivere, e al tempo stesso permetta a queste aziende straniere di vendere tranquillamente mentre inquinano come se non ci fosse un domani. Io sono totalmente a favore della riduzione degli sprechi, faccio tutto quello che posso per riciclare il più possibile, ma al tempo stesso so perfettamente che il mio apporto è una goccia nell'oceano. Certi "nuovi sprechi", come appunto questa nuova moda della moda a bassissimo costo (scusate il gioco di parole) dovrebbe essere soppressa fin dall'inizio, senza neanche dargli il permesso di vendere in Europa. Poi è chiaro che il cittadino normale non si farà mai certe domande e quindi vede il prodotto economico e lo compra senza pensarci su. |

Is this good advice for those who can't afford a hardware wallet? If you can't afford to buy a hardware wallet it means that you have very little amount of bitcoin because nowadays a good hardware wallet is like $60-70, nothing crazy. Of course if you have like $20 in bitcoin it doesn't make sense to buy one. On the other hand if you have a good amount of money invested in bitcoin buying a hardware wallet would give you more security and less stress, so you shouldn't see it as an expense but as an investment. |

So you're saying that it is a simple coincidence that Iran "attacks" Israel with some drones and pretty much at the same time the market drops? I don't think so. I remember that few years ago, when Russia officially attacked Ukraine, it happened exactly the same thing, all markets crashed immediately. We are already recovering so I don't see it as a big deal but for sure it wasn't a coincidence.
There is nothing to worry as long as price of Bitcoin is over 60k$. We saw similar type of volatility back in Jan 2020 when Irani General Qasem Soleimani was killed by U.S. forces in Iraq. Price went down to 62k and has recovered back to 64k after news broke out that Iran has attacked Israel. Halving is just approaching, don't pay much attention to such dips rather HODL you Bitcoin tightly for the big meal. Mate, I'm not worried at all, I was just pointing out that yesterday's dump was clearly related to the Iranian counterattack at Israel following the attack of their embassy in Syria. Pretty much nothing else happened in the world, that was the only big event, I just don't understand why someone would say that it had nothing to do with the dump, why else did the market go down otherwise?  |

The gold investors and fans would argue about it having limited resources or supply too. But no one knows what measurement and what exactly is the limit of it. That is a half true because it's impossible to know exactly how much gold is left, every now and then they discover a new gold vein so technically yes, gold is limited, but how limited? And let's not forget that in the space there is a ton of gold and sooner or later we'll start with asteroid mining so in that case gold supply wouldn't be a problem anymore. Extraction costs would be a different thing of course. |

The BUT here is how people get so weak after the dips finally happen and they do nothing, Wake the hell up, now it's happening right in front of your eye, do not sleep on it. It's because people don't have a clear plan. They are waiting for the dip, then the dip happens, and they start wondering whether buying now or waiting because maybe it could go down even more, and at the end what does it happen? Nothing, they do nothing. If you have the liquidity just place your orders and forget about them. |

Hello I've had a Coinbase account for a couple years, just playing around with trades. I want to get more involved, so I'm watching people on Youtube & they're shorting crypto & using leverage, but I don't see it available in Coinbase. After a lot of research, it turns out I need a 'VPN' subscription first since I'm in the US. Alright, ok... Well I may as well go with an exchange with lower fees while I'm at it, time to take off the training wheels & go with.... let's say Zoomex. One of the Youtube guys likes it, so I guess I do too. Ok, I open an account, go to deposit some money, and it's impossible. It wants USDT... a coin to buy a coin (?)... ok, so I go to buy some USDT with good ole USD and it says I'll get 900 for my $1000. This ain't making much sense. What happened to a simple USD account. Then I wonder how I'd withdraw to my bank, and I read "Enjoy selling Tether with transaction fees as low as 1% for bank transfers" I'm totally lost. I just like to read charts and play the game. Shorting would be fun. All this other stuff has my head in knots. Can someone please help me out here :/ First of all, as other users have already pointed out, if you are in the US I would avoid using a VPN to access services that you are not supposed to use because I guess you did a KYC so they know you're American, don't they? Regarding exchanging USD for USDT, I don't use Coinbase but you're telling me that there is a 10% fee? That doesn't make any sense. At that point just buy BTC using USD and then sell it for USDT. |

I have witnessed two Bitcoin Halving cycles and going through its historical data about the price before the halving, Bitcoin created a new history this cycle, that is breaking through its ATH before the halving, however in as much as we anticipate future significant price growth as usual But we really needs to digest this new record that Bitcoin made.
So, What is your thought seeing the price of Bitcoin smashed the ATH a month before its halving?
1. Could this mean that we are on the verge of witnessing an explosive Bitcoin rally as a result of the Bitcoin ETFs approval.
2. Do you think that the Bitcoin Bull market is going to end sooner than later after the halving? This time the cycle changed because of the ETFs approval, this leaded to billions of dollars entering the market, that's why we had a new ATH before the halving. Hadn't it been for the ETFs, I'm pretty sure we wouldn't have any ATH now. We'll see a rally but it won't be quick, I hope it'll be an organic growth, nothing too crazy, supported by good volumes. |

Al momento ha rimbalzato attorno ai $61.500, sembra che la notizia che abbia scatenato il dump sia l'attacco iraniano a Israele che alla fine non è altro che una rappresaglia dopo l'attacco alla loro ambasciata. Israele comunque è completamente fuori controllo, sono fortunati che che gli USA purtroppo continuano a stargli dietro ma mi chiedo fino a quando. Tantissima gente è stufa di vedere le proprie tasse andare a foraggiare un genocidio. Se Biden avesse un opponente serio e non un personaggio ignobile come Trump per me si sarebbe già giocato la presidenza semplicemente col fatto che continua ad appoggiare Israele incondizionatamente.

In realtà il Satoshi è stato scelto pari ad un centomilionesimo di Bitcoin proprio perchè se Bitcoin dovesse arrivare a valere un milione di dollari, allora un satoshi avrebbe un valor di 1 centesimo, cioè il minor valore "praticamente" possibile. Esattamente, eccolo spiegato dalle parole di Satoshi in persona: If Bitcoin remains a small niche, it’ll be worth less per unit than existing currencies. If you imagine it being used for some fraction of world commerce, then there’s only going to be 21 million coins for the whole world, so it would be worth much more per unit. Values are 64-bit integers with 8 decimal places, so 1 coin is represented internally as 100000000. There’s plenty of granularity if typical prices become small. For example, if 0.001 is worth 1 Euro, then it might be easier to change where the decimal point is displayed, so if you had 1 Bitcoin it’s now displayed as 1000, and 0.001 is displayed as 1.Quindi magari in futuro potremmo essere "costretti" a spostare la virgola per semplificare le operazioni, ed effettivamente è un'idea tanto semplice quanto geniale. Impressionante anche vedere come Satoshi non abbia mai lasciato nulla al caso, ci sono tanti aspetti che sembrano secondari eppure basta una semplice ricerca e si rimane sorpresi. |

Si ma secondo questa teoria gli Halving potrebbero diventare pressappoco che infiniti, che poi già è problematico comprendere quanto possa valere 1 satoshi figuriamoci una unità inferiore al satoshi. Ovviamente sono solo supposizioni mie. Inoltre come verrebbe visualizzato in un wallet che ipoteticamente avrebbe 1btc e 4000hal? Numero tirato a caso ovviamente
Potrebbero, nel senso che nulla vieta di suddividere 1 satoshi indefinitamente, al crescere del suo valore. Che è un po' l'obiezione sollevata a chi sostiene che, essendo in numero finito, prima o poi i bitcoin in circolazione si esauriranno. Per il resto non penso che la visualizzazione sia un problema. Sarebbe più o meno come chiedersi: come viene visualizzato il saldo di un conto che ha depositati 10 milioni di USD + 1 cent? Eh bè, ci saranno un po' di zeri nel mezzo... Il "problema" della visualizzazione dei satoshi è tutta una questione di abitudine mentale perché che ci piaccia o no abbiamo bisogno di avere un riferimento in euro o dollari: se un oggetto costa 40 dollari allora immediatamente sappiamo che in euro costerà poco meno (poi vabbè, ci aggiungi le tasse la differenza si annulla ) ma in satoshi? Qualcuno riesce a fare un calcolo immediato? E lo stesso dicasi al contrario, l'oggetto costa BTC0.0005714, voi sapreste immediatamente che con un cambio a $70k quel valore sarebbero 40 dollari? Magari in un futuro più o meno lontano, quando il prezzo di BTC sarà molto più stabile, avremo i prezzi mostrati anche in satoshi, o magari perfino dei cartellini del prezzo digitali che si aggiornano in tempo reale, un po' tipo come stanno facendo con le targhe delle auto. |
