Not only sportsbet but every bookmaker is chasing return of sports games. It was a very bad time for those crypto casinos that added bet options lately, they started business when it paused. It will be interesting to know what will happen to contract that sportsbet has with Watford FC.

Btw anyone knows, when sportsbet added casino section? It's the first time I saw it (but yeah, I amn't frequent visitor).
Hope it won't be rude to suggest but I think your white theme is very bright and hard for eye. I guess it worths to set this colors: background: #f2f2f2, containers: #dee2e6, major text: #53667a.
Belive me it will be better, click on this for higher quality.

2002  Economy / Economics / Re: Is a real estate crash/dip due? on: May 10, 2020, 08:15:46 PM
Of course real estate prices will fall a lot including commercial parts.
As for now a lot of people are left without job like OP mentioned. When there high supply / low demand = price fall. See what happened on grid oil, a thing that history has never seen. Of course no one will pay you to rent their house/apartment but prices will fall a lot. Also there is another bonus factor too: Some people were depend on income from rents. If you set high prices, there will be zero demand. You need money to survive too, so this kind of people will lower their rent prices to get customers and earn some money for themselves.

Serious crash will come and it may last for some years. That's great at some point: Products and life is expensive because of these rental prices, on long term if there are low rental prices and normal prices on products, that will have a good impact on people's life. Money won't be easily made from service offers but from regular work.
2003  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Blockchain a Good Career? on: May 09, 2020, 11:56:52 PM
If I amn't wrong you have to know C++, Python, Java and other programming languages to start your career as a blockchain developer, right? So if a person knows C++ well, he/she will get a high paying job in any way.
Btw I haven't heard if anyone works in gov job because of blockchain cause as far as I know governments hire blockchain developer companies. For example Georgia hired Bitfury to further develop and integrate blockchain technologies in services like land title registry and etc where there is a need of extra layer of protection on stored data.
2004  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun - PROVABLY FAIR Blackjack Accepts Dash/Bitcoin/Litecoin on: May 09, 2020, 10:57:32 PM
Thank you guy's for constructive feedback.
2fA and overlap bug are on the task list and getting fixed soon.

Meanwhile we are planning to launch a wagering campaign.
Please, if you have any concrete ideas how to pull it of, could help allot.

Kind regards,
blackjack.fun
I guess in blackjack you have better options than just wagering contests.
For example you can offer following promotions:
1. Collect blackjack 10 times and get a chance to take part in our daily wagering contest. The more blackjack you collect, the higher the chance to win.
2. Win 20K (example) USD with four suited 7s.
3. Wager $10 and get $30 welcome bonus.
4. Bonus cards during game.

I guess there are some good options out there.
2005  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why risk management is so important ? on: May 09, 2020, 10:12:23 PM
Every medal has two sides and for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Of course everything has risk and trading isn't exception but when you trade, pros have to outweigh cons. But...

Quote
It's harder to recover losses than to preserve funds.
Task isn't that simple. Sometimes for some people loss causes more reward in their brain, so as a result person tries his/her best to overcome this loses and tries to minimize mistakes. Loss can become a motivation of success.

Quote
Think of how much you can lose on a trade.
I guess that alone isn't a good advice. You need some optimism and luck during trading along other major things. So if you already think about loses, then you will never be able to risk much and those who doesn't risk, don't get reward.

Quote
Also win % does not make a successful trader, but strategy and risk management do.
In any way trading is strategy cause you have to calculate best time to sell and buy. On long term if your win % is higher, in any way you are good trader (call it luck or not).
2006  Economy / Economics / Re: Money History - Introduction to Ancient Exchanges on: May 08, 2020, 11:55:26 PM
Quote
Here when a farmer wanted to trade his farming product for mild he didn’t know how much farming product he must give in return.
I don't agree with you in this. The reason why people started to use coins was that they were looking for something unique that would be valuable for everyone. Maybe I want to buy product from you but you don't want hen from me, so deal was something unique and with help of this I would be able to sell hen on someone and with collected coins, I would be able to buy product from you cause what I offer is something that everyone is looking for and no one is exception.
And this type of exchange is called Barter.

Quote
Here the first generation of the exchanges (Ancient Exchanges) came out, when you wanted to carry 10 million coins with you from Boston to Paris
I hugely doubt anyone even know continent of America that time. I hope you don't think that 18th century is ancient. And if we really talk about ancient exchanges, then I want to remind you that such system belongs to banking 17th century banking.

Quote
governments started to print a huge amount of banknotes and printing huge amount of banknotes lowering value of the money.
It doesn't lower value of money in reality cause society needs money. No money = no work. What lower value of it is banking system where a lot of money is collected and stored.
2007  Economy / Gambling / Re: JacksClub.io | Bitcoin Casino | Amazing VIP ☆ Rewards on: May 08, 2020, 11:13:46 PM
Oh, is Rollin.io team back in game? (well, yeah some part).

Quote
Just like before we will offer an incredibly low 1% house edge, and provide instant provable fairness verification.
Not "incredibly low 1% house edge" <-- That already become standard.
On your VIP club page, you say that you offer personal account manager. Can you further explain it? How is it different from regular standard customer support? Will VIP users have immediate 24/7 personal assistant?

Quote
We will start with a single game called Blaze.
Right now I guess I see dice.

Please can you tell us a little bit what happened around you? As I remember you were selling rollin.io in order to keep your attention on another projects and prioritize capital for it. I guess that website wasn't sold on forum. So what happened? Will be glad if you clarify it cause I am hyped.

Btw wish you success!
2008  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 65% of Global Bitcoin Hashrate Concentrated in China on: May 08, 2020, 08:36:50 PM
65% of Global Bitcoin Hashrate Concentrated in China. Half of the country’s hash rate is produced in just one place, the autonomous Xinjiang region, which makes up 35.76% of the global total. Can bitcoin be banned there and, if so, will it effect the crypto market?
That's not a good indicator to judge that because in overall one company doesn't own 50% of all coins and if china owns that much in overall, then we have to keep in mind that their population is far more than for example whole european population.
Btw it will be interesting to know what will happen in china around this task. They wanted to ban bitcoin. Now europe and usa wants to get factories back from china. China left without bitcoin and factory industries will be in very bad situation (bitcoin won't have huge affect but it's source of income).
2009  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: CoinCode.sh - Analyze your Coin Code on: May 08, 2020, 07:59:23 PM
So what does 'parent' actually mean? If Bitcoin does not have any parent and those coins 'forked' it, why you assume those 62 repos are 'parent'? Can you give the names of these parents?
The "parent fork" is intended as repo mostly used to create new cryptocurrency but different than bitcoin, for example: PIVX, Ethereum, Monero and so on..
I cannot include the full list of this parent because it is in an evolving stage.

the problem with your approach is that you can't call a coin that is already a copy of another coin, "parent". for example litecoin is a copy of bitcoin that forked bitcoin's code. then Dogecoin is a copy of litecoin that forked litecoin. you can't call litecoin parent of Dogecoin because it is a copy coin itself. bitcoin is still the parent of both of them.
That's what I wanted to write too but seems you were first. I guess it worths to have a look on this thread that was started by theymos: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2095328.0
OP also add grin coin, seems interesting one.
Btw as hugeblack said, something like tree chart will be good to see. And bitcoin isn't the first cryptocurrency by all means in this world. When you talk that bitcoin is the parent of every coin and etc, then I guess it worths to note how idea of cryptocurrencies came. I suggest you to check this: https://medium.com/blockwhat/82-the-birth-of-digital-cash-ea08b53379d8

2010  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Does Bitcoin Have Value? on: May 07, 2020, 09:04:25 PM
I'm not gonna write typical answer like others...
Value of something is psychological factor in any way. If you teach me that stone has value and everyday I see that, for me it will become value. What's cash? Paper money + some costs of everything associated to printing process. So with that logic, 50$ and 100$ has the same value, what differs them is the number shown on paper, nothing more. If we see 100, we think it has value of 100$ and so on. But everything isn't like that, economics plays important role too and combination of economics, political stability, people's education and almost combination of everything that happens in this world, gives value to our currencies and everything.
But when we talk about bitcoin, yeah, there are some different and important factors too. When calculating of bitcoin's price, mining profitability matters too, that's why people are waiting so positively for halving. On another hand, even this process is psychological factor too, people think that price will rise because of this and in reality nothing happens itself, we make this reality. Bitcoin will have zero value if one day people wake up and discovered that they don't have access to their wallets. So again, psychological aspect plays huge role too. Bitcoin has zero value for old person who knows nothing about internet and computer and don't have enough possibility to learn it because of age.
2011  Economy / Economics / Re: Get ready for more tax. Save your BTC! on: May 07, 2020, 07:48:54 PM
We see it everywhere. To counter that coronavirus disaster, governments are spending money like there's no tomorrow. Budget's deficit will rise to new heights, never seen before except during war times. In US and EU, debts are staggering. The Federal Reserve and the European Central Bank are printing money faster that I'm writing it. If you ask what's next, I'm afraid there's only one answer.

In most countries, governments will have no other choice but to raise taxes. They will have to be smart to avoid killing the economy, but they will need to bring more money to balance their budget (or more likely to reduce their operating deficit).

As I haven't paid any income tax since 1997, that's all right with me, but I urge all fellow Bitcoiners to organize themselves, and to plan ahead to avoid the worst...

Or could I be wrong? There will be no more taxes next year?
Printing money is an escape from bad today but is a way into worse tomorrow. This will really create inflation in countries. In any way, expectation about economic situation is very bad right now and when we add printing money it looks like adding fuel to the fire. Id they raise taxes, then it means business will fail and in this situation economic fall is guaranteed. Right now some business needs support to keep functioning and emploeeys. If you raise taxes, wages should be reduced or even some people will be left without job.
In any way situation is bad and printing money is only a deal for a while. Psychology playes big role in economics too. When someone starts selling something, people follow it in panic. Can say the same on opposite process - buying. So they have to somehow balance situation and slowly and steadily overcome this economic crisis.
2012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why there are no Stable coin gambling sites? on: May 07, 2020, 05:58:19 PM
Wouldn't it be much easier and attractive if there were gambling sites that dealt with stablecoins? Stablecoins could be easily exchanged with both fiat and crypto and are generally faster and cheaper for transaction.
I always dream about bustabit and crypto.games accepting stable coins like DAI and USDT. What makes them not look at this potential?
If you dream to play with stablecoins on crypto casino websites, then luckily for you, there are a lot of options: You can play dice, crash (bustabit) and other games with USDT on Bitsler and believe me, this is one of the top casino. If you are looking for sportsbook (which I highly doubt right now but still...) then sportsbet.io <- one of the most trustwortht and popular crypto bookmaker will accept your tether.
Tether was never in my interest when it comes to gambling but I guess stake.com may accept some stablecoins because there is high demand on it from users.
2013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig wright found to have plagiarized his PhD-not really a doctor of anything on: May 06, 2020, 09:19:27 PM
haha, that's so funny. To be fair this news wasn't something that amazed me but in heart it's something that should be this way. Craig Wright is a copy/paste man who copies from original sources and claims it's his creation. This even further proves why he isn't bitcoin creator. Is there really someone who believes that Wright is right?
Even his surname leaks everything about him. Wright <-- W means wrong (short abbreviation) and right (just right). So in reality he is wrong but he wants to show us that he is right, that's called wright.
P.S Wrote that just for fun.

2014  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How copy trading can prevent you from becoming a statistic. on: May 06, 2020, 07:47:42 PM
It will be curious to see versus on eToro where only two traders are left and others are backed by "follow trader investors". That advice to follow trader because it's hard, for me sounds like to hire baker to bake instead of you because it's "hard nowadays". So there is no logic here in eToro's words, of course it's their marketing campaign and their website is based on that strategy to collect people who will follow some traders and that campaign works because something that sounds nice somehow pours spell on people.
2015  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Request - Projects to create Bitcoin job opportunities. on: May 06, 2020, 06:17:16 PM
Bitcoin isn't magic that can create jobs and solve the problem of poverty (some people think like: if you are homeless just buy a house).
Right now there are as much online jobs as possible according to companies and knowledge/skills of employees and believe me everyone tries to get job online but that's not possible without skills.
If you don't have some basis in web development, articles writing and etc, you just have to get through the day. Some bitcoin "enthusiast" think like you can't get money online without bitcoin.

Quote
If you have a online company and you can afford to launch a signature campaign, please do that or create some sort of micro earning opportunity to help people to survive.
Business is far from charity (sometimes it's even profitable business too but). Right now it's not a time to waste money. It doesn't matter whether you can handle to run campaign or not, it matters whether there is a need of it because of marketing purposes.
I guess you should stay away from new "micro earning" possibilities, especially right now.
2016  Economy / Gambling / Re: [NEW: DICE ★REINVENTED★] ➫ ➬ ➫ ➬ LUCKYB.IT on: May 06, 2020, 04:49:01 PM
It's the most strange dice game that I have ever seen but to be fair it somehow fascinated me. I appreciate that you upgraded your dice game and it's not similar of every random one where the only difference is website and nothing more. It's in old style and has some vibe of an old military technics and ancient latters.
Btw the team behind this website has to optimize it for smartphones/tablets cause nowadays a lot of people prefer to gamble from website when they aren't at home.
2017  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Webmoney locked my account [Get Scammed] on: May 05, 2020, 08:57:41 PM
If it was fresh account and got deposit of huge money, then I guess they should block it. Btw webmoney isn't as strict as paypal when it comes to money refunds (they don't do it easily as pp).
Webmonry has bitcoin exchange service too, it's not a wallet where fraud transactions are controlled on high level, a lot of people use it for that reason.
It's better to ask this question on Russian board because webmoney is very popular Russian wallet, ask someone help in translation of your issue when opening thread in that board, they'll help.
2018  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CEO of Bitcoin according to Google is Roger Ver. WTF Google?! on: May 05, 2020, 07:58:27 PM
I just googled different keywords "ceo of bitcoin, bitcoin ceo, bitcoin creator" and etc. I didn't get any information stating that Roger Ver is the ceo of bitcoin but yeah, when you type it, you get an automatic result from google that shows him as the ceo of bitcoin.com and we can't deny that. That happens because of google's search algorithm, no one is "ceo of bitcoin" but on wikipedia and other websites, Roger Ver is stated as the ceo of bitcoin.com so google automatically thinks about bitcoin.com next to btc when you type bitcoin.
It's possible to leave feedback in that section and rate the accuracy of shown information.
