2021  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Futures - the beginning of the end...? on: December 12, 2017, 02:16:44 PM
it is tough to say really but things are just getting started. the futures are not the way people buy and end up hoarding bitcoin, the actual markets are. people are literary pouring into exchanges such as Coinbase and Gemeni to buy bitcoin. these exchange servers are having a tough time even handling this increase in demand all of a sudden.

the "big money" that you are talking about is big but it is not bigger than the total money coming from millions of people and coming from "all around the world". that "big money" of yours is so centralized and in one place.
Things are really just getting started. We cannot say how this whole thing will end but rather than going around raising unnecessary FUDs, I would rather be optimistic and see how this will end. I always remember one thing with bitcoin, the stronger hands always win while the weaker hands always live up to regret it and for those calling bitcoin tulips, I am sure they really have no idea about bitcoin.
2022  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Bitcoin Cross $50,000 on: December 12, 2017, 01:13:36 PM
Well if this trend continues, it will happen in January at this rate.
January is bit too early though but anything is possible. The percentage rate of increase is going higher and the period between each increase compared to before is decreasing.

Bitcoin is consolidating right now, and any moment from now, anything can still happen. However, I would not want to be too hopeful for $50,000 this year though, but I really at this stage just want to keep to my charts and just see exactly where it is headed as anything can happen.
2023  Economy / Speculation / Re: This guy predicts bitcoin to be $20,000 in 2 years. What do you think? on: December 12, 2017, 12:38:40 PM
Who still thinks it is impossible to reach $20000 in two years? As long as the market has a continuous vitality, it may be very fast, and it may be able to reach $15000 this year.
Funny enough, this was just said in October and then the OP said 2020 for $20000 was impossible. Only if we could all see the future. Still, we have not even finished 2017 yet and we are already on the average of all exchanges approaching $20000. I am so optimistic that in this year, we will definitely get to $20000.

Even you did not expect it could pass $15000. How funny could that have been considering the price right now? The thing is we cannot predict, and what bitcoin would be in value tomorrow, only tomorrow can tell.
2024  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL bitcoin? why and why not? on: December 12, 2017, 11:04:36 AM
to hold bitcoin is a very wise decision, why? because it can cause of price hike, many newbie people in crypto are getting panic when the price of this bitcoin decrease and they are simultaneously selling their bitcoin that can cause of price drops. so why not to hold your bitcoin for long period of time to see how many profits that you can get by holding your bitcoin.

Holding bitcoin had been very beneficial and profitable for us who have been saving since we started earning here. I started when bitcoin was less than $1 000 and look at the price now. I had sold so many bitcoin before because of financial needs and I do regret selling because if I have hold it, I could have earn more. Good thing, I still have bitcoin left in my wallet to hold. Holding may be risky but this is how it works here and between crypto currencies. Anyways, it looks like that bitcoin will continue to rise so it is a good opportunity to hold now, hold as long as you can because the higher the price of bitcoin will be, the more people will be interested in it.

About the panic selling, as a newbie trader once, it is really alarming when you are just starting and is really hoping to earn and then bitcoin suddenly goes down. SO before the price really goes down, they will sell hoping that they will still be able to earn a profit.
Yeah, for those who have been here earlier and still earning or buying and then holding, I am sure they must have attested to the fact that holding seems to be a more interesting thing to do than to be panicking and allowing some whales to spread FUD to their own advantage.

So far everything is fine, it is so glaring that someone who has been doing pretty well from the onset would have been able to store up something tangible that would have increased hugely in price over time and who knows, for those here now, anything is still very much possible.
2025  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin - new Business Opportunities on: December 12, 2017, 08:44:08 AM
bitcoin business opportunities are still very wide open and bitcoin investment opportunities also look very promising, especially for investors and stock players crypto .
Other than investment opportunities, mining farm is a very good one that we can enjoy along with bitcoins. Long term and profitable if done well. One good thing about mining is that once you have been able to recover all your capital, the rest is just going to be profit as long as you want.

Bitcoin so far is going to keep being profitable and there are so many other altcoins that have huge prospects that has really made miners some pretty big bucks in the long run now by taking a look at Monero.
2026  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading vs holding on: December 12, 2017, 06:04:42 AM
Under what circumstances is trading preferred over holding?
Btc reaching 10k$ way before new year is a big shock, your opinions would be very helpful.

Trading must do all of the time and if you want to hold, just hold it without any circumstances. Holding is the best thing to do with bitcoin and it has been with several challenges but it has been surpassed and bitcoin is still good and kicking. It's even shocking that there are people who are saying that bitcoin can reach $20,000 before this year ends but I highly doubt it.
I would not consider holding as the best thing to do, but I will consider it as a best thing to do instead, if you do not have a single idea about trading.

Definitely, in that case, you will be doing yourself more harm than good since you will always end up losing than having any profit. Trading requires knowledge, which will allow you to have a strategy on every trade which can give one a lot if you are good. Considering the fact that it gives you more in the long run, if you can do it well, I consider it the best.
2027  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to choose good coin!? on: December 11, 2017, 07:13:09 PM
good developers are being hired as well by different projects being an adviser or something the same. And with contributes to their success from their past projects it'll make those upcoming projects that they are with to be successful too. And there will be a guarantee that those projects they are working currently will not do something cheeky by the time after the ICOs success.
When you see some notable devs on some projects, then you can at least be rest assured knowing the works they have successfully done in the past. Sure, no one can really know in the long run how a project ends up fairing but one thing is certain, which is the fact that every good project with a good product can always do pretty well in the long run.

the most important thing to consider is its recent price according to history and events, updates as well as the project.
Most cryptos can be pumped in the long run but that does not make them stand the chance of staying on top of their game in the long run. However, with a good product, superb developers who are always eager to work every time, then it is expected to see a coin doing great. Even with some of the coins that seem good, it is still more of a gamble because not all of them will still succeed just like in normal life.
2028  Economy / Speculation / Re: What does the Chinese market now consist of? on: December 11, 2017, 03:55:13 PM
They are trying to stop their people from cashing out in local currency, Cashing out Yuan will cause inflation for them, People now are trying to cash out in other countries to get dollar in exchange, They are in a war with the west. War of the coins Cheesy
I really want to see how it won't end up causing inflation still for them. China is just one controlling freaks and they have always been known to always come up with strict policies and I really do not know what they really want to drive at with them trying to make themselves feel good with their currency.

I am sure most of the traders ended up moving to neighboring markets which I am sure is the reason why BTC-JPY market is on top now.
2029  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will crash one day? on: December 11, 2017, 03:16:22 PM
Do you think Bitcoin will crash one day?

I think there is a possibility of this especially now that major players or countries in the world are suddenly closing ta doors not just on bitcoin but cryptocurreny as a whole. Its only a matter of time and few more countries to follow and it can be disastrous
No one is closing their doors and trust me bro, without the major players you are talking about, bitcoin has been doing awesomely well over the years as well as other cryptocurrencies and if any government like they should even bolt the door, nothing is going to change the revolution that is on and that is what would keep making bitcoin to kick better in the long run.
2030  Economy / Speculation / Re: will we see bitcoin price 20k by jaunary 1st 2018 on: December 11, 2017, 02:40:05 PM
I do not think that it easily disappears so. The Bitcoin price has been adjusted even though at the moment its price is very high and it is difficult to reduce quickly. This will collapse the market, causing great crisis. So, in my opinion, it will still increase in the future and may reach 20k in early 2018
Crisis will only happen if we allow it. Yeah, we always see some whales playing with the market to see how strong it really is after all so they can buy in at a lower price for those who were dumb enough to sell to them at a lower price. It is the world we are in and anything should be expected. All the above, I am not sure anything can really cause any huge crisis right now as the market is more matured than it used to.
2031  Economy / Economics / Re: Best tip on saving money on: December 10, 2017, 07:31:48 AM
I never spend more than 50% of my salary. I give 10% of my salary to the church, and I eat everyday by cooking myself (I mean, I still live with my mom, hahaha). I never buy food outside, I just buy a small snack just on weekends. I was deliberately not spend money to hang out or eat in restaurants, I also do not have a boyfriend. I was determined to save and invest for my future. I'm determined to buy a house and make my family happy, that's when I'll start thinking about hanging out and having fun. Or get a girldfriend.
Nice one! The fact that you are even a lady and working well for yourself to build a future is a pretty good thing. Your guy would definitely be a lucky man if you end up finding one. 50% is good and trust me, with the fact that you do not have much responsibility; you can try to do more.

Yeah, it is important to have a mindset of a certain percentage you want to save as that would always help. Nevertheless, it is always good not to be reasonable as well, it is important to understand that some things can always come up so, it is good to always plan for them.

But it all depends on you and how much you really hope to want to save up for the future, but at least that is a good start.
Budget is good and when writing down the list, savings and miscellaneous among other things is very important.
2032  Economy / Economics / Re: do you know about improper use of bitcoin? on: December 10, 2017, 06:20:07 AM
I think OP regards this issue in some technequlities that bitcoin users faces, which is really true, the securities that users encountering
But peolpe leads to the improper use of bitcoin, on how people spend and use it and where to use it, whih people involve in some criminalities that pays using of bitcoin.
Criminality has always been on even before the existence of bitcoin. Bitcoin anonymous characteristics (which is not even fully anonymous anyway), may be one of the reasons for us to keep looking at the fact that it makes criminal activities easy but we have to realize that even USD, gold etc. have always been used as a form of exchange for criminal activities in the past.

I know about it activity. I prefer to say cyber crime activity like what hacker do.
Yes, any types of crime can be defined as improper use of bitcoins. But crime activities are not just due to introduction of bitcoins hence every men do something  as per their needs.
2033  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is the right time to cash out? on: December 10, 2017, 03:55:05 AM
I ve been thinking that now is the right time to cash out.
Not sure.
HODL First
If those are your thoughts, you may really want to have a rethink. Still, anytime is a good time to cash out as well as buy depending on each individual as long as they are willing to hold up to their decisions no matter what comes out of it. It is not everybody that wants to hold for too long and some may actually have been holding for a while now and they are willing to let some go based on some projects they may need to get done. That is what makes the ball keep rolling on anyway.

For someone who is really thinking of long term investment, this is really one thing to always look forward to, which is the future. Bitcoin is not a means to just make huge quick bucks and those who have been holding the coin all along knew what they had to stomach before even reaching here.

Nothing good comes easy, you have to understand the risk, stay as long as you can and then expect the worst but at the same time the best.
2034  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: i lost 20% of my budget on: December 09, 2017, 05:45:42 PM
why are all these cryptocurrencies are going down?

this may be due to the rise in bitcoin prices but believe in certain altcoin prices will soon rise after the bitcoin is corrected
Yeah. Most of the cryptocurrencies have been falling down in the last few days. Because of the price correction. But it is starting to rise back up now. Bitcoin's price is also starting to rise again, even hitting an all time high. Almost reaching $12,000.
Yeah, the thing is that patience is all that is needed. No one can have it all at once. The fact that they are 20% lesser today does not mean they may not be 100% greater in value or more by tomorrow. I have seen a lot of altcoin with such a huge level of increase in a short while.

There is always no point selling at loss if someone is sure of the coin they are holding not to be shit coin which in that case would be the worst thing to do bag holding any shit coin, except you luckily get out when the market gets pumped.
2035  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How I can make money with cryptocurrencies? on: December 09, 2017, 01:39:59 PM
Educate yourself on what makes a coin valuable, and then look for good ones to trade. You can try and rely on expensive newsletters, or you can get your hands dirty and figure out what makes the good coins valuable, and then look for emerging ones that fit a similar or better model.
Educating oneself is just the real deal or trying to read the charts to see a coin with some pretty good chart to trade. However, I will want to buttress on the education.

Most people do not value that and they end up focusing on just trying to make money instead of doing the right thing first. The best way that I tell people is that, if you cannot hone your skills in trading or whatever you want to do to make money, better just works hard to earn it.
2036  Economy / Speculation / Re: Lightning Network was tested on mainnet today! on: December 09, 2017, 01:03:25 PM
It has to come out. More people than ever are finding their way into Bitcoin, and what they are dealing with are the steep fees that in their eyes may look massive. It not only deals with the transaction fees, but also with the confirmation times that happen to be a bother to people. It's indeed bullish, but as long as there isn't an actual date, it can basically take till the end of 2018 if it isn't longer. Overall, it's giving people something to look forward to despite of how much we have been spoiled already with how this market has gone up. We're building up something special here, and I'll keep holding through.
Do not worry bro! At least the Ethereum most people have been praising has shown them what they really needed to know. Bitcoin is still the king and every other coin is just a counterfeit as far as I am concerned. This is great news and once this starts, I am really imagining how the mainstream entrance is going to be like.

Great times ahead and I hope there won't be any complications in the long run and since the devs have mentioned there would always be room for upgrades, I guess we will just keep getting better and better.
2037  Economy / Speculation / Re: John McAfee Bets His Manhood that BTC will reach $1 mil by 2020 on: December 09, 2017, 12:07:57 PM

Even if he believes in it, I think making this kind of wager is extreme. There are multiple other ways to emphasize your confidence.
$1 Million does look extreme. He has revised his prediction of $500K by 2020 to $1 million by 2020. And he has done this based on Bitcoin's strong rally in 2017.
He has really been an ardent believer of bitcoin right from the onset and his predictions have been out of this world. However, I guess we will just have to wait and see if he ends up right or wrong. 2020 is just by the corner, but even if he is looking at the trends and the way things are, that sounds pretty insane, but not like if it happens, no one will be happy.
2038  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price correction -10k- on: December 07, 2017, 03:38:56 PM
What's new? people and big investors wants to give this type of analysis so that many will buy this thing and start selling their coins. And when it all happens, that will be the time for them to buy more bitcoins at the lowest price that it may dip. This has been their technique and remember the FUD thing that Dimon has spread and now his company starts to bitcoin.
Yeah, that has always been their intentions and they are really having a bad day as it is not really making any impact.
What they are doing is to use their position to create FUD in the minds of investors, so that once they get some huge profit, they can quickly dump. Bitcoin has grown stronger than that and for those looking for huge corrections, they should better not be too relaxed waiting for it and missing the point until bitcoin hits a higher state than they can imagine.
2039  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin fall again soon? on: December 07, 2017, 07:45:11 AM
The people have different views towards the price of bitcoin will fall again soon. From my views the price of bitcoin will not fall again soon because the need of bitcoin is very essentially by the people and  that affect the popularity of bitcoin and it countinously increases so that the price of bitcoin will also increases and it will be increase very rapidly because now the days bitcoin become famous in all over the world. Now the time the price of bitcoin is $10000 and it countinously increases.
I have to say that I do not think that itīs going to fall soon either, currently there seems to be too much interest about BTC that's why I think the price is based on that more than anything,so I would essentially also say that a larger decrease is not going to happen as many still think,at least I do not think that will happen in this month.
Anything can happen at any time; therefore it is always good to be ready. Definitely, I cannot say how long the bull is going to keep running at this stage, but there is going to be some corrections.

The only problem now is no one really knows and at this stage, it just keeps increasing and breaking every possible resistance with a huge uncertainty for traders to even know when to sell or not. This is something we are going to keep seeing for a while and I am very sure $15000 before the end of the year is certain.
2040  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoin on: December 06, 2017, 03:16:44 PM
Bitcoin is always better for doing start trade or daily trade and holding.I start trade few days ago.I buy some bitcoin dollar and start daily trade.so I think bitcoin is best.
Definitely! In the crypto world, the first currency that comes to mind for a new investor is bitcoin and which is what is creating the huge demand for it.

Bitcoin pulls the market with it and which is why I started all my stuff on bitcoin first rather than on Alts and I started acquiring Alts from trading. It seems better for me since I know I am going to be holding a lot of them in the long run, so anyone that decides not to do well, that is their cup of tea. I watch the Alt I hold anyway and not just some shitcoin.
