Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi

As we been dey talk about the declaration of Nyeso Wike, him brother CRA from the ruling party come declare interest for the office of the presidency. As na my man wey I like, e get two things wey happen yesterday wey I like.
1.The multitude wey storm Ph yesterday.
2. CRA speech, the closing side. He said "I thank president Buhari for this great opportunity "
That statement wey him make na wise statement, the thing show say na Buhari anoint him say make him declare interest.
Make we dey one side dey watch because the bigger drama wan unfold.
I think all of both wike and Rotimi has no chance in the coming presidential election. Wike has done well for River State I must say, especially in terms of making the city kf River State motorable like his flyover mission every where. But I don't think he has what it take to rule the country, and  Rotimi on the other hand has lot of laundering case on his hand no be that kin person we need as the president.
Abeg reduce your volume abeg, which Wike do well for which State? Hmmm.
Wike no do anything for Rivers State, wetin him do well na to silence all sectors,  him commissioners no get work as some no even get portfolio, some na dummy, him pocket assembly members and continue to contract head bridges in Obio/Akpo to himself. Who does that, who concentrates all bridges in one community in order to collect plenty choppings.
Every average Rivers indigene know wetin sup.

For Amaechi and laundering cases according to you, them no dey calculate am like that. We know say Amaechi obtain money just like Wike dey do now but him no get any case for court concerning laundering. Well, base on party hands, Amaechi get plenty chances o

and my wardrobe, in my wardrobe you can't easily see it because its always dark in there, I use my torchlight to carve those words in there and its even written on the top inside the wardrobe.
Could this not be dangerous if you decide to still keep your seed phrase in your dark wardrobe for a longer time. In the long time, you may forget that you have written something like this and your close friends who could know your forum username will understand it's you. They could use the opportunity and reck you in the future. Always be conscious of security.
I also think that saving your seed phrase in too many places is not a good idea, it will expose it to danger. One place and one backup place is already ok.

This is a great thread. I have seen the title several times and o thought it was it was a thread that was praising members. But I can boldly say that what is in side the thread is more than what the title said.
If it is possible this post can be pinned for everyone to read, especially new people.
I have been having this trouble inside me to give a correct definition of a quality post but was finding it difficult. But as I was reading the OP I saw a perfect definition of a quality post. This is it below;
Quote
It’s all about the knowledge. Try to think about merits as a knowledge exchange: you give merit when you learn something new, you get merit when you teach something new, or you make other people think about something old in a new way
From the above, we can say that a quality post is a post that teaches someone a new thing or a post that makes people think about old things in a new way.

Nice initiative OP, the second option is good and I will consider it to be better. Meanwhile, I have to reason the kind of environment you are leaving that will fetch you the attention of 30 persons willing to learn. Are you in anyway living in a tertiary school environment, because that is where you can get the attention of people.
In my neighbourhood, everyone is as busy as the bee. In the morning everyone goes to work and return in the evening. You do not know anything about your neighbours.

Teaching them, please don't give them the mindset that bitcoin is a get rich quick finance. Please remove their mind from earning so that they can learn.
2066  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: April 09, 2022, 09:55:44 PM

Honestly guys should this be good news, I no know how una dey feel. When I first joined Crypto, then the main topic na crypto-currency is decentralized, this was a core value of crypto-currency one that even got many governments scared, but as e dey go now I feel say the decentralized qualities/nature of crypto-currency done dey fade. Now we Don dey submit our bvn just to verify a Crypto Exchange which is supposed to be decentralized, now I ask Dem don throway the decentralized qualities?
Senior man, this your talk too go well. And me sef don think this thing tire. You see many of us for this side never still believe this bitcoin money, an average Nigerian dey find wey to convert to fiat anytime. Our oyibo mates dem dey practice this privacy well pass us by far. We just dey read theory for this our side.
Another truth be say, based on the kind country we fall out from, before you go begin talk about privacy, in one way or the other, your privacy go done cast.

But I like as him come make this post here. Him try wella, e better pass those ones wey go enter B/H thread open multiple threads wey no go well. imagine say him post dis kind thing for general forum, dey celebrate Binance weh accept BVN for KYC, e for cast us be that.
2067  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: April 09, 2022, 03:02:57 PM
Kyc no be better thing for me to celebrate. Crypto exchanges dey do to make sure say everybody complete kyc for their platform. Binance approve nin for verification last year, from there many Nigerians complete their verification. I no like the idea of linking my bank details to third party.
Snip
I no think say greater risk dey if you use your bvn than if you use your nin. All na the same thing. For people wey get international passport, you go see say nin dey there too, all the information link together.
And I feel say binance no get the whole access to the bvn and the database, the service them dey use na the same service wey website they use know say password wey you put correct or not. Them scrap the bvn data, so if you input your bvn and e match with the data wey government get, e go automatically verify, knowing too well that your details already dey with banks.

My real talk be say, no option of verification for binance dey more risky or less risky, all na same Kyc.
2068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: April 08, 2022, 11:02:49 PM
The match between Newcastle and wolves was a match people two people that has nothing to lose. One is closer to europa level but cannot go to europa while the other is closer to relegation and will not be relegated. The both teams played as if they had equal strengths but Wolves played slightly better in my own view but the day was not in their favour as they lost 1 goal to Newcastle.

I am yet to see the improvement since Newcastle ownership changed, maybe I should wait patiently till next season.
2069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: April 08, 2022, 10:42:03 PM

lucky Lorient was able to score 4 goals in today's match so their ranking is now at rank 16, Kone contributed 2 goals for lorient's win in today's match

As for Saint-Etienne, it looks like they have to be willing to be in the relegation zone until the end of this season

If you ask me i would not say lucky; Lorient ended up the game with a 6-2 victory over Etienne and that shows that it was a very good executed performance by the Lorient team. Now lorient has sent etienne to the relegation spots atleast for tonight. The big questions remain can they beat the drop? i think not.

Lorient 6-2 St Etienne
The overturn of tonight's match was dramatic. As of 60 minutes into the second half the secure was 2: 2 and I didn't believe that Lorient can score four goals within 30 minutes to change the narrative. Well, St Etienne is now looking endangered in the relegation zone. While there is still hope for them, for now kudos to Lorient for a deserved winning. They already scored 4 goals before the Red card of Neyou Y, so it was a clear win for them.
2070  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: April 08, 2022, 10:28:46 PM
Na this one deh make me shock. Government no fit deny am say them no know who the sponsors of this bandits be. If na any other part of the country this thing deh happen military for don run go there and begin assault innocent citizens. But a whole Kaduna and military presence and equipment yet bandits deh play them scores.
Everything wey dey happen for this country just dey show that the insecurity we dey experience dey sponsored by the state (government).

How else wey terrorism go dey since 2010 or even earlier, and yet there has been no solution to it with all the military force and even support from other countries.
You no fit travel by road or train safely and no he everybody fit afford flight. It's just a failed state at this point.
This country mata tire everyone. Na government be bandit, na government be insecurity and, na dem be unknown gun men, na dem be herdsmen and na dem be government. Wetin I discover be say, the head of different security prastatal dem dey hold am hostage. Everyone dey capitalise for our problem dey r*pe us.
Imagine say our president na former General, yet him no fit stop terrorism for going to 8 years now.
E good make we comot mind for Nigerian leaders, dem no fit help us, because as long as the system bad, even if good person enter seat, e go still bad.

Thank you Smartvirus for this thread, I call it a remindal thread. When I became a member of this forum, many people were already requesting for the local board. Initially, I thought that since our thread is pinned there's no need for local board anymore, not until I saw how important topics get buried in the thread. It's very boring creating different topics under one thread.
Again, the existing Nigerian thread is self-moderated, we can lose it if the OP is attacked.
There is a Nigerian adage that says whenever a child cries and points towards a particular direction, if his mother is not in that direction, his father will be there. We Nigerians are crying and pointing your direction.

Incase you may feel there are no strong hands that will organise Nigerian board if given, let me name just a few among many of us;

CryptopreneurBrainboss
Charles-Tim
BIT-BENDER
Upgrade00
Coyster
Igehhh
Mpamaegbu
Pokapoka124
Smartvirus
And many more.
These are reputable and quality posters, who has contributed to the forum in one way or the other.
We Nigerians are looking forward to hearing the goodnews.
2072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another day, Another Lesson for those who want to learn on: April 08, 2022, 02:20:59 PM
Having the consciousness that nothing is free in crypto is an added advantage. If you have not done some kind of bounty or Airdrop activities and sees some free tokens in your wallet, it should be suspicious. I have seen countless times where I would be told to claim some tokens, since I didn't work for them, I don't bother participating because nothing is free.
You can be in the process of claiming these tokens and compromise your wallet.
For tour experience, I can assure you that is a scam because there is the real APE project I know.
2073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: should i invest in new project? on: April 08, 2022, 01:46:48 PM
It is like another meme coin, there is no doubt that the name valentine can give it a good hype for launch but it is a seasonal thing. Maybe after 14th February, everyone will dump the coin and wait for 14th February, 2023. So, in order not to miss out, you can invest a fraction of your portfolio and then be vigilant so that it will not dump on you. If it is risky for you, you can consider looking for other good projects and invest. There are thousands of projects, but only few can be successful.

Op, many things has already been implemented in the forum, adding more things will make the place look messy.
Just like the IQ joke, it was not looking fine and it kept offending me whenever it popped up. For instance the red coloration was too armature and I was wishing the April 1st could end faster than normal so that I will not get to see the IQ test again.

No wonder some high rank members on this forum creates useless posts at times, its because they bought their account from people like you,
Mate, can you please send me link to atleast one high rank member that created a useless post in the forum.
I want to know the high rank member and I still want to know what your definition of a useless post is. Please I am waiting...
... you deserve a ban.
He hasn't done anything to be banned. Incase you can become the admin of bitcointalk tomorrow  Grin that is not how to ban people in the forum. There are people here who has scammed people about 5 to 10 btc, yet they are still in the forum. So it does not move well to ban a newbie who put up an advert which I'm not sure he will be patronised.
2076  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: April 08, 2022, 09:41:21 AM
CryptopreneurBrainboss and Coyster don talk all finish, but I go like to put more stew for you.
You bin ask signature campaign meaning and uses, dem no dey use signature campaign. Just like campaign wey go soon start for Nigeria politics, dem no dey use am. The campaign for election na the process to carry showcase your candidate so that him will be voted during election. Then signature campaign for forum na the way to use showcase projects so that people go join the project or continue to use it.

You been ask about merit and how to rank up speedily, as Coyster tell you, forget about speedy rank up make you no rush your account out of the forum. When I been get my account, I say I no go stress myself, whether the account grow fast or not. I was doing my things before I know, my account don fly. So just do the right thing first, the rest thing go follow.
2077  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: April 07, 2022, 11:05:59 PM
So far, I have counted 14 persons who have already declared interest to be Nigeria's next president. They include:

1. Anyim Pius Anyim
2. Yahaya Bello
3. Orji Uzor Kalu
4. Kingsley Moghalu
5. Dele Momodu
6. Chukwuka Monye
7. Bola Ahmed Tinubu
8. Rochas Okorocha
9. Khadija Okunnu-Lamidi
10. Sam Ohuabunwa
11. Doyin Okupe
12. Bukola Saraki
13. Atiku Abubakar
14. David Umahi
If we talk say make we select leaders based on people wey sabi or wey get foresight, Moghalu suppose be president. Even if we want people wey dey like Barrack Obama, we get am for person like Donald Duke, but things no dey work like that for Nigeria. Na the most corrupt or people willing to corrupt that will emerge. Why you no put Wike for the list na?
Abi, na me no see am...as long as I know, na few options we get.

Talking about people wey go support crypto. All of them no get any good plan for crypto, dem see am as selling point because na wetin youths want and the present government no gree implement it. So, comot mind.

[1].Don't Chase the market:
There is always a next opportunity in the market,
If you miss this opportunity wait for next one.
(....)
I believe this is the common problem of traders that are starting, even me before I can admit this. The feeling of like you FOMOd and you insist on finding a good entry even you already know that it's already too late.

Not all the times you can open a trade, whether it's a short or long position.
Always remember that there are millions of opportunities ahead, capital preservation is the key.
There is always a next opportunity. This should be the watch word of a successful trader. Every candle stick is an opportunity. Every dip is an opportunity, every bull is an opportunity.
The FOMO is a very dangerous. It has made many coins dump on me and tidy I would have made x500 of the coins assuming they didn't dump on me. When you hit your daily target, exit and what for another opportunity. There must be another opportunity.
2079  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is a game of quantity on: April 07, 2022, 10:03:09 PM
I heard that there are people hodling bitcoin for so long. Fine, it is good especially for early adopters.(people that bought at $4000 and below) They know that whatever happens to bitcoin they will still be in great profits. But anyone that bought bitcoin when it crossed $30k should not hodl for life. They should be able to sell and rebuy at dip.
But, every cryptocurrency is a game of quantity. No matter how quality your project is, if people are not interested in your project, it will not prosper.
2080  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The reason people join bitcointalk forum on: April 07, 2022, 09:32:14 PM
If it is to acquire bitcoin knowledge that makes people to join this forum, the population of this forum wouldn't have increased to the level it is now. Again, there also might be decrease in population at some points.
Take for instance;
If I join this forum to learn how to incrypt wallet, immediately I learnt that, I will exit the forum because I have achieved the purpose for which I am here.
Generally, the altcoins section for people looking for new projects, pump and dump etc is why people are here.
Also the bounty section for promoting projects
And the signature campaign.
These are some of the things that makes people join bitcointalk.
