2081  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will increase to $100,000 says expert on: November 24, 2017, 05:54:36 PM
it is so hard to be 100,000 in next 10 years but price will incrase more than 10,000 $ in future

about other altcoins yes bitcoin will destroy most of them
As we can see, most of them at the lower end of coinmarketcap are already dead and we may just only end up seeing few altcoins with great projects that will end up staying relevant at the end as long as they are able to convince investors of its maximal usage.

Bitcoin is going to stay on that top for now and obviously, we will just have to see how government regulations worldwide are going to have to play out. $100,000 is a possibility but when is what no one can really say for now.
2082  Economy / Speculation / Re: Its possible bitcoin going down under 7K this weekend? on: November 24, 2017, 03:43:01 PM
Hi guys, Today bitcoin reached 8K, but now is in road to 7K, its good time to buy?

i'll be waiting by yours answers, thanks

Whenever the price drops below $7500 now i would definitely try buy at least 10% of what you've got to buy bitcoin with. But i don't think that it's going to happen at least any time soon this year.

Usually when bitcoin drops happen it is because of altcoins rising in value, especially forks of bitcoin. Now that the BCH bubble has burst and the BTG bubble is also correcting, i doubt we'll see a rise from either any time soon.

Therefore, price of BTC shouldn't go down much.
This is what any reasonable person would do but as far as I am concerned, we may not really get below $7000 as it is one hell of a huge correction to have now.

We have been able to hit a new ATH from a breakout recently and in cases like that and looking at the trends, that usually leads to a new ATH or another level of break out. One thing I have realized though is that bitcoin is full of huge surprises.
2083  Economy / Economics / Re: Is USD being used for illegal activities? on: November 23, 2017, 02:33:26 AM
As other forex or fiat cash are also utilized by terrorist or for every other iligal activities everywhere all over the world , bitcoin or other altcoin may also use for unlawful activities.Even i believe individuals will begin their own altcoin for illegal activities...just thinking
Only if they want to keep the altcoin hidden from the public anyway and except unregulated exchanges will only be trading them on exchanges, I really do not see how creating their coin for the dark world would work, but anything can happen. However, it is a normal thing for these guys who live their days illegally and they will always look for every ways to perform their trade. Moreover, USD being the most important currency for world trade has been the most popular one anyway for across the border payments so what stops them from making use of cryptocurrency when that was still easy for them.
2084  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin drop to $3000? on: November 22, 2017, 12:08:38 PM
Can bitcoin drop to $3000?
Unless some crazy shit happens that caused a huge panic, then I will say you should keep dreaming because there is absolutely no possibility of that. Have you seen what American investors are saying from the surveys ?
Then you should know that bitcoin's price is undervalued at the moment and there is so much increase coming up for bitcoin in the future. Stop thinking about a low value like that, buy now and look into the bright future ahead.
2085  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this Forum full of 'normal people' who over the years became filthy rich? on: November 22, 2017, 08:21:26 AM
I mean people who got interested in bitcoins early, liberals, doomsday government critics, criminals and drug users who used silk road, normal poor people like me. There must be a vast amount of cracy stories of people finding themselves filthy rich.

People who got interested earlier in bitcoin sold it when the price was increasing and they would be in profit. I dont think anyone will keep their investments on if they made a x10 profit from the initial investment.
Also there are a lot of people who buyed bitcoin in 2010 and still have it in wallet. But even if they remember about that, I am sure their wallet informations are lost
Why would anyone not want to keep their investments when they made more than that? X10 is too small. Just this year alone, most people who even got in early this year has been able to make x10, let alone those who have been in the system for a long time now.

If I have been in the system since 2010 and I bought a lot, highest i will do now is to take some out, and diversify offline into several fleet of businesses which I believe no matter what happens with bitcoin tomorrow, I already have a lot coming in for me and that would not make me stop saving in bitcoin the more.
2086  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to become a TRADER on: November 22, 2017, 07:11:00 AM
Its easy to become a trader all you have to do is buy bitcoin in your local exchange and then send it to your desired exchange site like Bittrex or Poloniex. After that you can buy coin that you think its good.
These are some of the posts some users read and ended up being misled thinking that trading is just as simple as that and then they come back running to the thread crying to the whole community that crypto trading sucks. Every trading even asides crypto trading will suck as long as the person refuses to learn first. Hitting Bittrex or poloniex is not what counts, but knowing what to do to make a lot of profit from the trading is what counts.
2087  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: when do you buy ? on: November 22, 2017, 06:40:45 AM
I see a lot of people talking about when to sell; but I think that buying is as important if not more (obviously you buy* low -_-). so do you guys aim to buy the lowest low of the day/week/month/... and do you think that is riskier and/or hard to predict. do you wait for price reversals? do you follow expert advice?? please share your thoughts and your stories (successful or otherwise Smiley)

A lot of people just stick on the old strategy, buy low and sell high. I think that thi is the best strategy if you want to earn money. I was able to earn hundreds of dollars when I sold my bitcoin before it fell down when it reached 7800 dollars a few weeks back and bought bitcoin when it dropped to 5800.
Definitely, but one should always understand how these lows and highs work sometimes. Almost every coin has a pattern which should be understood very well to be able to make some decisions. Bitcoin does to, and one should understand corrections, the low buying and the right point to always sell to make profit and even buy back for more profit later on.

It's all about the mind. You don't necessarily need to stand against the tide. You can just use your own strategies on when to buy and when to sell. If you really think that your strategy is working and efficient. Then stick to it.
Once you have a very good strategy, you cannot make any huge mistakes per se and even if there is a mistake in your decisions which are totally bound to happen even with pro traders, but what makes it different is knowing when to get out and not gamble a situation, and knowing when it is right to get in back. Those are where strategies come to play.
2088  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is the right time to cash out? on: November 22, 2017, 04:25:48 AM
Every time is the best time to cash out,
I actually choose to hold thing now.

It may grow higher
Every time is not the best time to cash out, most especially when you are referring to the state of panic. A lot of people have made this mistake so many times and that is because they never understood what they were getting into before even getting into it.

You can cash out if you need it for something you need to do, but when it comes to trading, you should never panic in situations like a deep correction, knowing so well that it would come back right up.
2089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to start investing with 1$? on: November 21, 2017, 07:08:34 PM
haha, You are too funny man! you wanna get 150$ in the end 2018 with $1.5??? If you are good at technical skills, behavioral psychology you can trade altcoins which has the price under $0.05. Good luck to you

This was my way!
5/2017 i start with 1$ an buy shitcoins by 1Sat.
So i sell by 2 Sat. Set always 2x.

Yes it was a long way. Now I have only with this startinvest 0.1 BTC Wink (excl. other Invest)

Nothing is impossible.

you really did it?
That must have taken a whole lot of time, heartaches and all. And really, I would not want to believe that. 5/2017 is a long way to this time and we really have to consider the crazy moments of shitcoins as well which is not palatable when some of these coins crash looking at the recent incidents. So, I would not want to take anything I hear on this forum to be exactly as it is. It is easy to say than done and I will bet my last dollar that he was lying.
2090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When will altcoins boom again? on: November 21, 2017, 06:36:09 PM
Bitcoin dominance raised from 52% to over 58% in past 24 hours.
Bitcoin price raised from 7200 to over 8000 and now it's back to 7900.

I'm expecting alt 'boom' in next 48 hours to correct the Bitcoin dominance again to 52%-54%. Now it's good time to buy alts.

Btc rise is astronomical! I don't think it will last forever. New money will eventually flow into altcoins. I'm a little pissed for not holding any btc during this pop. But I'm confident alt will go up again.
I doubt if it will last forever too but we cannot really say for now how long it is going to keep doing this. The rise in bitcoin has really made altcoins to feel it badly and most of them are even finding it hard to break any ATH or even sustain it for long if they do as most people are trying as much as possible not to miss the BTC bullish movement cause of any Alt.

However, like you have said, nothing lasts forever, at some point there should be a balance for a while to give the Alts some breathing space.
2091  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling ends on: November 21, 2017, 04:41:30 AM
I don't  believe that gambling will end ,even in the bible gambling do exist and untill now so it will never happen that gambling will gone. People has the attitude of being greedy and people easily  get attracted to gambling because they thought that they can easily get money from gambling.

it's impossible to happen, the biggest management of bitcoin comes from gambling, maybe tens or even hundreds of bitcoins are being gambled on gambling sites in one day, everyone believes that gambling can lead them to wealth, and gambling is a shortcut for someone gain profit and wealth,
And that belief is what has led so many people into becoming a gambling addict cause there is no way that mentality would not lead them into trying to recover their losses at the end and wishing they never started in the first place and at the same time not being able to control the impulse to continue.

It is all about luck and if anyone cannot see as mainly that, better they just give up now.
2092  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you learn from your gambling mistakes? on: November 21, 2017, 03:38:28 AM
Learning from our mistakes is necessary because that will make us stronger and more mature, in gambling where the risk is too big, need to be matured all the time to ensure we will not gonna be facing a big risk. Money is at stake in gambling and if we keep doing the same mistakes again and again, it would not be fun anymore and it might result to bankruptcy which is the worst thing that will happen to a gambler.
Maturity is really needed in gambling and there is no way one can be able to control those impulse without some level of maturity. This is a common mistake most gamblers usually make, which is not being able to control the impulse and also trying to recover losses during that process. It takes a lot of guts, experience to just accept defeat and move on.
2093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The hapiness of a green profit on: November 20, 2017, 04:04:43 PM
I just watched a video of the guy who made 3 btc profit in just around 4 bets. I can imagine how much happy he was when he won that.
I cannot imagine the level of risk he must have taken and the rate at which his heart must have been beating at those moment. Sure, the happiness is always a huge one when you hit a lot of cash and most especially if the greens keep turning up. No one loves red which is normal and in as much as we can say we want to have fun, reds just have a way of terminating that fun.
2094  Economy / Economics / Re: 99% of the people still think that fiat money are better than crypto on: November 20, 2017, 02:40:53 PM
I was talking with a friend of mine about cryptocurrencies and he said:
"Cryptocurrencies are anonymous?Nothing on the internet is anonymous.Having a bunch of dollars or euro in the pocket is the most anonymous way to store money. Grin"
Damn, now i think that he is right and fiat money are still way more convenient ,despite all the inflation, banks monopoly and control. From my personal experiense 99% of the people refuse to believe in bitcoin and refuse to adopt it in their daily life.Any opinions?
Only few people in the world has an idea of what bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies are so most of the people think that fiat money is better than digital money without know what cryptocurrencies can do. Also, some people that think fiat money is better than digital money, experienced a bad thing that make them realize cryptocurrencies are not that good enough.
Even around me lately, my cousin and I were discussing about bitcoin and its present value and the people around were looking at us like dummies and asking questions in the sense like what is bitcoin again ? Is it a Ponzi ? And all that…

The thing is the population of people who know about bitcoin right now is still low and until we start seeing real life usage before we start seeing that population increasing. We here right now are just privilege which is why I keep saying bitcoin is still very low with the present value, wait until then.
2095  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic effects of bitcoins on: November 20, 2017, 07:37:45 AM
This could be possible, but if no one has done it until now, there is little chance they manage to do it in a few years. As bitcoin becomes more and more popular, industries will use it too. But if they have to trust bitcoin, they will probably pay a lot of money to review all the code (to see if their investment is safe).

But if someone cracks it anyway, we should expect a rollback.

Rollback will certainly be out out of the question, as BTC value are based on the demand of the folks that use it, but if something like this happened BTC will certainly crash because no one would trust the technology anymore, thus the hacker/s will not gain anything of value than piss a lot of people.
The worst a hacker would do is to crack your wallet and that is if you leave it vulnerable. Shits happen, no doubt and you are in control of your wallet except if you are using a centralized exchange which we all should know by now that you should not do if you want to be in charge of your money.

Anything that has to do with online or offline required the individual to understand how to level up security and stay safe in case of invaders, so, it is absolutely in everyone's hands.
2096  Economy / Economics / Re: China's complicates Bitcoins miners on: November 20, 2017, 06:47:37 AM
I dont know why that country is releasing so many fuds and complications to the miners/holders or all of those guys who are making profit from cryptocurrencies. they are the most greedy country that have ever seen that affects the crypto world.
They are just applying regulations to everything that concerns about cryptos.. but i dont know, it has been posted yesterday and it was proved that it was a fake one, but it might happen in some time from now, so nobody knows about it yet.

LOL. You do not have to take it personal bro. If they think their actions can have an effect on bitcoin, then they are totally wrong.

Moreover, a lot of fake news has been generated from this region by whales so as to have some free money, but unluckily for them, those times are over and bitcoin is gaining more strength than normal. The mining issue is even something that would have zero impact on bitcoin.
2097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to start investing with 1$? on: November 20, 2017, 05:38:20 AM
So here I am with about 1.5$ in my poloniex account today. What advice would you give me to make this 1.5$ into 150$ by the end of next year that is 2018?

Anyplace I could get to know about pump n dumps before they happen? Any particular cheap crypto that I should hold onto?
It's extremely hard picking 1 alt to invest 1,5$ and expect to get 150 even if it's more than 1 year. But it's definitely possible by doing daily trade if you have some experience on it. It's better to get some job and invest some of you wage later rather than working hard in daily trading from 1,5$ starting capital.
Honestly, 150x is a huge amount to expect from buying into a alt unless the person is just extremely lucky. Moreover, it would not even come that quickly and most of these ICOs even have a minimum amount that can be invested, so does it really sound reasonable ? I totally doubt. $1 is a small amount of money to invest to expect something huge from it and the OP should better just level up.
2098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 50k$ in which coin would make you a millionaire in 1-2 years? on: November 20, 2017, 05:03:30 AM
Litecoin and BTC are my answer. There is no doubt about that. These are great coins with fast growth speed in 2017. Certainly, you will get big profit if investing in them
BTC obviously will be the first on anyone's list right now. However, there are some alts that would really give some huge bullish run in the long run and those are coins that have a huge project backing with some team that would be ready to go a long way to do their best.

I am vouching for some now though, and though they are still new, I will just have to keep my fingers crossed on them. COSS is one of them.
2099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash fork and its effects on Bitcoin on: November 19, 2017, 06:10:06 PM
So, 13th of November is the Bitcoin Cash fork date. Are we getting a new coin or is it like the ETH fork where you get nothing?
I believe it will keep increasing or will stay high until that date, and then it may drop letting bitcoin to increase back its ATH levels.
Not very sure yet what is going on within the BCH community, but from what I can gather, the fork should be an upgrade which I do not think anyone so far is against.

So, this should not really bring about any new coin as it is only going to be fixing some problems. All the abobe, we should not be encouraging forks because of free coins but instead look forward to it as something that should benefit the ecosystem from the upgrades. Who cares about BCH anyway? We should look forward to making bitcoin core more usable.
2100  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Prediction Poll on: November 19, 2017, 03:56:56 PM
Big problem with bitcoin is block size which will effect bad of bitcoin future because High demand mean many transaction which mean high fee and long conformed time.
all this  will reduce price in future till that time bitcoin price will pumped in (7,000$ to 10,000$)

price by the end of 2017 is 8,000$

A lot can change in any minute and I would really expect a lot to change any moment from now. It is glaringly so much needed for a solution to be found to the scaling problem and once that is solved, we will even see more than what we are seeing now. With the huge network fee, bitcoin is still trading presently at around $7500, so I really wonder why bitcoin cannot get up to $10000 by December.
