Yes, since 2009 actually  Of course, overall bitcoin has done quite well since it went live in January 2009, yet who the hell really knew about it for some time... except for a few guys that were really in the nerdiest of nerdy circles in terms maybe having some potential technical knowledge. And, still bitcoin did not really get any kind of attempts at tangible price discovery until around May 2010, the time of the pizzas transaction.. and maybe there have been some spreading of the news about bitcoin as the price was getting assigned to it and it was being found out about by more and more people. I am pretty sure that I heard the word, "bitcoin" a few times before I looked into it, and maybe I just thought something superficial that it is a kind of invented money like Lindy Dollars or whatever. I do believe that we should be attempting to consider some of the nuances of bitcoin's price movements and cycles which does seem to cause it to have seasons in which some folks could well be in a world of hurt if they are not able to figure out strategies to get through the cycles.. both financially and psychology, and surely hardly any of us were able to get into bitcoin in 2009 or even sometime soon thereafter be able to have some of the pleasures of experiencing the price appreciation of its whole life... We only know about bitcoin between 2009 and whatever time that we got in through the experiences of others - not that I am saying that you actually "have to" own bitcoin in order to benefit from its invention and they incentive systems that it has set up that will likely end up benefiting everyone, whether they own it or not... and sure the owners of bitcoin do seem to have gotten quite rewarded through the years and likely to continue to be rewarded as far as what seems to be likely in the future. To level up, you need merits and activity, and to become Legendary you need 1000 merits and an activity of 775-1030 (chosen at random).

I hate to quibble with a fellow bull - but seems to me that there is some level of smarts and luck in terms of finding out about bitcoin and then acting upon such knowledge. When I found out about bitcoin in late 2013, I was so damned ready for it because it seemed to have been exactly the investment category that I was looking for and so maybe I am one of the rare ones in which the concept clicked almost immediately in terms of the proposition of bitcoin and my desire to get a stake in it, but I surely am not claiming to be any kind of genius in terms of the strategy that I established and if there might have been some better ways of going about my investment into bitcoin in terms of where I was at at the time that I found out about it. And, yeah, I use the term "found out about it" loosely because I hardly even knew exactly what bitcoin was except for some descriptions of it and what it was trying to achieve, and so part of my initial goal was to start to get a stake in bitcoin but to also study the matter at the same time and to figure out if maybe I needed to readjust my strategies or my ideas about what it was that I was investing into. There are so many people who neither had the luxury of being in the mental/financial place that I was when I got into bitcoin nor are there many people who have the luxury to spend a lot of time studying a matter... Many of us heard about the August 2020 article regarding yuppies dismissing bitcoin ( a r/bitcoin link on the topic, too), and yuppies are considered to be smart people, but the article is likely correct about some mental blocks that cause difficulties for them to take action in terms of either investing into bitcoin or researching into it more. Most of them will likely come around sooner or later, and many of them are likely smarter than a lot of us here, just smart in different ways that end up causing them to be a bit of laggards in the likely largest transfer of wealth in our lifetimes, and perhaps the largest peaceful transfer of wealth in the history of man, perhaps? perhaps? Here's the full story: I heard about bitcoin earlier than i considered to get some. I read about it, which was inevitable in my life as a computer nerd, pretty early. I can't name a year, but it must have been before the pizza event. Later, i heard and read something here, something there, prices, volatility... and i got paid in fiat pretty nicely, had a habit to use drugs in quite some of my free time. I didn't even think about investing at that time at all. In 2014 a friend told me how he was ordering drugs on the darknet and paying them with bitcoin. That's why i wanted to have BTC initially. Then i never bought, because i could get all the drugs i liked easily, so i had no intention to go the darknet way. I also had severe problems with fatigue, weak but low threshold immune response, and much worse memory problems, compared to today. Later, in 2017, i was planning to invest in it. I had three kids at the time, living from insurance money, so i had plenty of reasons to start shaping the financial future of my family. As i knew most of the "well known" fundamentals about BTC already, it was an easy decision. I also found out that i favored the idea of Bitcoin over the fiat system from the time i knew about it. Even if i end up poor, i would still prefer Bitcoin over fiat money. |

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is a natural blood thinner, prevents blood clotting. Zinc helps building up mucosa, the "frontline" barrier of our immune system.
Vitamin D is quite complex, actually a pre-hormone (calciferol) mainly used for the processing and distribution of calcium, in combination with vitamin K2.
Always take Vit-K2 with Vit-D, because VD is raising blood calcium levels and K2 makes sure that it gets where it belongs to (bones, teeth) instead of soft tissues, where it can cause a lot of harm over longer times of use.
Some comments on vit regimens: if you take a large dose on any vitamin, especially water-soluble like vit C, other vitamins will be removed by kidney together with it, so at the minimum take some vit Bs with it. 1g of vit C/hour is a horse size dose anyway, but to each their own. For myself, 0.5g/once a day when i feel under weather is enough. Interesting point reg vit K. It does help with bone metabolism, but it is also widely available in food (K1 in greens and K2 in meats, cheese and eggs) plus half of the daily requirement is being provided by the gut bacteria. Since vit K is essential for blood clotting (which basically means helping survival), I found it interesting that we have a gut co-habitant (bacteria) that helps us to stay alive, which "benefits" them in turn. It's funny how it all fits together. Thanks for adding all the detail i lacked in my post (had to put a kid to sleep). I'd like to add that K2 is also capable of removing (!) arterial plaque, which has been proven in a dutch study, which was a small one, but delivered clear results. Seems like K2 generally helps to regulate clotting in body liquids. A dose of 1g/h of pure vitamin C would make me shit my guts out after a few hours, btw. |

They just started testing this mRNA approach on humans in 2017 for flu.
While I think the mRNA therapy may be something that can help with future illnesses, I remember my mom telling me growing up "don't try any new medicine unless it's been out on the market for at least 10 years". Doesn't Bitcoin usually explode through a bull run after calm times? I feel like Bitcoin has been awkwardly chill in the past few months, something has to happen soon.. perhaps Monday? So far all we have is a double top as far as I can see.. Again: A Double Top is only a Double Top when confirmed (that is, breaking long term support level(s)). So as far as we can "see", we have a possible DT, but nor very likely, because the ascending triangle forms on a higher, midterm magnitude. Maybe some "market forces" try to model the chart into a "probable double top", to make weak hands sell and pick up their coins for cheap. At least it looks to me that this would be the 2nd try to form a DT, but the difference between top1 and top2* is too low. *EDIT: Actually "top2" from above is top3, the current one. |

Breaking ATH today will be so cool! I'm going to visit my little niece & nephew again tonight, and their daddy is the cryptocurrency coiner cousin I posted about earlier! Sadly, he doesn't own BTC, but he's OK with his altcoins, and he's in (modest) profit too, so it's always great to chat with him, the vibes and atmosphere are so upbeat. Whenever we meet, I always recommend to him to move all his altcoins to BTC once he's satisfied with the profits. I hope one day he'll listen to me... I bet he will, but a little (too) late for sure. But i can feel with all the alt- and nocoiners that are insisting that BTC is too high to succeed. Just too bad that they are wrong and don't even know (yet). Have a good time! EDIT: My nocoiner brother in law also comes by tomorrow to finish the tinwork/plumbing. It's been x6 since last time he came for a visit. I think we won't talk about that. |

You might want to know that i planned to get into Bitcoin in 2013 2014, but fucked it up because i was so confused and forgetful all the time. But things improved over time, especially through nutrition and therapy, so i finally made it 2017 (when i had about a tenth of unused money available, compared to 2013). This is not a complaint, btw. Things are fine the way they are. If i wouldn't have learned to think that way, i wouldn't want to know how i would be today...

Damn, I'm having mixed feelings about the outcome of today's market. This is either the beginning of another strong run or the beginning of a drop, because now we're clearly witnessing a double-top unless we go past the high we hit on the 13th of March..
Great morning it is, but tomorrow might suck if the bulls today turn out to be weak! Seems like market signs keep going bullish tho... fuck it, just go all-in and hodl.
Doesn't look quite like a DT to me, but more like an ascending triangle. Also, read investopedia on DT: There is indeed a significant difference between a double top and one that has failed. A real double top is an extremely bearish technical pattern which can lead to an extremely sharp decline in a stock or asset. However, it is essential to be patient and identify the critical support level to confirm a double top's identity. Basing a double top solely on the formation of two consecutive peaks could lead to a false reading and cause an early exit from a position.
To me it seems like whales wanted to make the chart look like double topping by the end of march, but failed. Next try was the recent dip, but they didn't even make it near critical support level(s). Makes me bullish. |
