2081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some Tips To Aide Successful Sports Betting. on: July 25, 2022, 08:28:04 AM
Beyond all this basic elements of making sports betting successful, it is a must to go with the sports in which you've got better knowledge about players as well as have more information regarding the game. This can increase the chance of winning than just going over random bets on games that we don't have much knowledge. Maybe for a while one might get lucky, but the same won't last same as we spend and win on the known games.
Yes, it would give you more chances to win if you choose to bet in sports which you have wide knowledge on the game and of the teams involved in it. Otherwise, your betting will only based from other’s bettors judgment which I think will put your money into high risk. Although some prefer experimenting and gaining a good research on the game first, but it will give you an advantage if you know the game well prior to your betting.
2082  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling in Moderation, Pros can out weigh its Cons in Financial and Health? on: July 24, 2022, 11:32:48 PM
Everyone has negative connotations when it comes to gambling activity but little that we know that gambling when done in moderation can offer great benefits to our mental and physical health and finance.

According to this articles[1][2][3] gambling if done in moderation can give us the following benefits.

Makes you Happier

Stress reduction

Relaxation and Comfort

Helps with Socialization

Responsible gamblers know all of these they've to strive on their limit and maintain their moderation, there are a lot of benefits to moderation and we can only moderate gambling if we are not very much into it like having a good family relationship, better working condition, and a healthy environment, that gambling will not take most of our time putting the right perspective in gambling will give us a lot of benefits and we can truly enjoy gambling.
If we live a balance lifestyle, I guess it’s way too far to fall into gambling addiction. Gambling is a form of entertainment, hence it also contributes to a positive well being of a person. But that’s not the case right now as gambling has been abused and become  a source of living instead. In fact, a lot have ruined their lives because of gambling, except for those responsible and disciplined gamblers who always put gambling into moderation.
2083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If There's No Casino Signature Will The Gambling Board Still Be The Same on: July 24, 2022, 09:29:46 PM
obviously, it won't be the same, and not just the gambling board, other boards will probably be affected too. like it or not one of the main reasons why the gambling board is highly active is because of the signature campaign and if the signature campaigns are gone I'm sure we'll see a decrease in posts on this board.
That’s partly true. After all, it’s only the signature campaigns that are requiring the participants to actively post in gambling boards, otherwise it will not be active because not all signature campaign participants are gambling enthusiasts. However, although there are some who finds it more easier to post in gambling boards maybe because they gamble most often, but most likely if this casino signature will be gone, then the gambling boards will be inactive by then.
2084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The characteristics of people who are addicted to online gambling on: July 24, 2022, 08:57:04 PM
People get addicted if they do not discipline themselves, if they have no source of income, if they are not busy with something else. But if they discipline themselves, they will not be addicted.

Some people said that because a gambler win is the reason they get addicted, but that is no. Addicts can first lose, then win and lose again, but hoping to be successful in gambling is the reason they are addicted.

To stay not being addicted, it is always good to know that you can not be successful with gambling, that makes you always think that you should use just little amount that you can afford to lose to gamble.
If a gambler always realize that only the house takes advantage on gambling, then he won’t be gambling for money but more on for pleasure and fun. Otherwise, he’ll end up falling into gambling addiction, yet unsatisfied with the profits he gained.

I believe that gambling addicts never imagine theirselves going there, but since they gamble without discipline that made them lose everything, they start chasing for losses until they end up being addicted in it.
2085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: taking out a loan for a sports bet (UPDATE) + fixed match on: July 24, 2022, 08:32:04 PM
I think it would be dependent on how much you trust the word of your "tipster" or "insider man" that you have. It's going to be a risk to take a large loan just to gamble it. You might regret it in the long run and you might have to pay for nothing. Imagine that outcome, would you want that?

Did you bet on the match that you have shared here?
Gambling will always be gambling, something that the house will always win. Well, you must be lucky in your first attempt but that won’t guarantee that the whole time you’ll gamble, you’ll eventually win. I guess it’s good enough that you never take a large loan, because if you do and you end up winning a huge amount, you’ll eventually take a loan again expecting that you’ll still be lucky. Taking loan is good if it’s necessary, but believe me it will never work in gambling, as you will only see yourself falling into gambling addiction in the end.
2086  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the possibility Bitcoin will rise before the end of the year ? on: July 23, 2022, 11:57:24 PM
it is very difficult to predict the price of bitcoin at the end of the year. but I think now is the time to buy bitcoin. and I think the bear market is coming to an end. and will turn into a bull market.
It is difficult to predict the price of the bitcoin by the end of the year, but with how bitcoin has been working from years, I have an idea how the market will work. Bitcoin will increase and also decrease and it will continue in that method and the price will systematically be going up. One important thing I am sure about is that bitcoin will not a new ATH this year, it might not even happen next first and second quarter. We are expecting a major bull run by 2024/2025. So anyone who wants to invest in bitcoin should check out long time.
Yes, bitcoin price can never be predicted by anyone and seeing it rising this year could lead to another fake news. However, I believe that the following year will be better than today since the history has taught us that every year with bitcoin creates changes and positive price increase because bitcoin is bound to grow and is bound to reach new ATH, it’s just that we don’t know exactly when it will happen. But as long as the community demand for bitcoin continue to grow, then it’s certain that bitcoin will have another new all time high hopefully by next year.
2087  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit 100k or more in 2022? on: July 23, 2022, 11:37:32 PM
Will Bitcoin hit 100k or more in 2022?

Or a new All-Time High (ATH) in 2022?

What is your opinion and what do you think is necessary for this to happen?

You can view Prices and Dates since All-Time High (ATH) at https://coincryptoprice.com/ath/

Not in this year, but yes if keeps on rising in a continuous amount, then maybe in the next year it can reach.
This year the major objective of Bitcoins is to recover it’s price.
If it manages to recover it’s price, then by next year, easily it can reach 100k usd by next year.
We can fasten up the process, it we don’t panic and sell. We need to hold or if possible buy more Bitcoins.
This will only help to increase the price of the coin.
We are almost at the last quarter of this year, and yet bitcoin price is still low to consider. However, in my past experience with bitcoin, I learned not to underestimate bitcoin because it will always move upward faster than we think. So if ever it reaches $100k or more this year or the next year ahead, I think bitcoin deserves it. In order to see continuous progress for bitcoin, at least there should be more big institutions that will backed up bitcoin, and of course we should be more firm on our faith with bitcoin as it’s always intended for long term investment.
2088  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A little profit for $17k+ buyers on: July 23, 2022, 09:51:23 PM
Btc price now was at 22.2k and if they bought at 17k then I think the profit that they are getting isn't really considered as small especially if they bought a lot of coins. You will think that this was another bull trap because this same scenario have happened many times now but we can't always be like that so I think that this one is serious now and this can be an indication that the bull run is starting.

Whatever direction we are heading with, anyone is still welcome to buy because for me, 22k is still a good value. I don't consider this as a high price but if you think it is and you think there are still another dip to come then you are also welcome to wait.
Bitcoin remains unpredictable in all its price movement, that is why a lot would believe that it’s another bull trap, while some are closely believing that we are already taking the next level which if bitcoin price continues to surge, we will witness another bullish market. However, this remains unproven until we finally see bitcoin close to $30k. But the good thing is those who bought bitcoin at its lower price, certainly they are profiting right now, but it will also mean more huge profits if they continue to hold.
2089  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why Bitcoin still remains the leading cryptocurrency in the world. on: July 23, 2022, 09:25:08 PM
It is known over years and now that Bitcoin is a mysterious and some kind of digital currency that is not well known how come about and only the creators of it knows and control it and is a supernatural creature and it like is an idea or vision of the creators to control the planet after God.
Well, Satoshi don’t even have the control over bitcoin because it’s fully decentralized, and this coin is not mysterious but will always be unpredictable. And throughout its struggles over a decade, bitcoin is still dominating the crypto market because it has exceptional potentials that I think the rest of the other coins don’t have. And when we say bitcoin, it comes with a highly expensive price, but also expect for its highly valuable profits in the end.
2090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice from a stranger on: July 23, 2022, 08:57:35 PM
Is it true that new altcoins are the best to invest in right now? Someone said you can easily make better profits from new projects than investing in old altcoins that have already x their values already, what do you think? Good or bad idea.
Partly yes. If the project is really good and has potential, then youll take advantage of being the early bird investor on that. But there are lots of projects that didnt survive because there is no product and use cases, even they got a new project they still failed to deliver and ending up losing investors fund.

But you cant go wrong on old projects that are just experiencing a mild bear scheme since we are on the consolidation phase. Still worth to invest if you find its price more appealing now.
I think once the project is promising, it will always meet the market demand and will sure to grow along with time. Regardless if its old or new, the most important is it can survive from the bear market and also grow along once the market returns to bullish. However, I would suggest to choose those old projects for investment as they have proven their utility cases, unlike new projects which we can’t be sure if they would end useful or useless in time.
2091  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Champions in this Bitcoin Winter on: July 22, 2022, 11:37:22 PM
What's interesting is I don't seem to see a website or company name on the billboard? They've just given this message, and that's it? That's kind of interesting, I thought they'd at least chuck their company name on it. I know there's a bit of text underneath that I can't quite make out, not sure if that's the local language, but even if they did put their company name there, you'd expect their branding to be just as big as the actual message, right?

I relate to the message though, I've had numerous conversations with several people who have been talking about buying Bitcoin for the last six/seven years, and they still haven't to this day, but bring it up at least once a year.
That’s what we call faith. Even if their brand or company name is not on the billboard, but the fact that the whole message is there, people will already understand and some will take the risk to get convinced. For me, those champions are mostly the people who take the risk investing in it while mostly believed that bitcoin is soon to collapse, and staying in the market without panicking even if they come to witness bitcoin continue to dump.
2092  Economy / Economics / Re: Avoid loan apps, a word of advice. on: July 22, 2022, 08:49:52 PM
Over the week, a friend and I had a conversation about loans and loan apps and she shared a bitter experience of how she was unable to write a very important exam because the money meant for payment of fees to qualify for that exam was deducted by a certain loan app that she collected money from a while ago.  Who will you really blame? My friend for not paying up as at when due or the loan app for not notifying her before the deduction.
In all, I advice that we should try to avoid any business with loan apps as they seem to be very numerous these days and are easily accessible. Most importantly, You should know that you are at the danger of developing a habit of borrowing from them if you patronise loan apps even for the smallest amount.
Loans are only helpful if you want rush money for emergencies and you have no other resources that can generate money. However, in situations where there is no necessary to take loans, then it’s better to avoid loans at all cost even through online or in physical lending companies. That way, you will not develop the habit of borrowing money knowing it’s yourself that is taken advantage, and that what you are doing is for them to make progress and become rich companies. In general, do not start taking loans if you think you will find it hard to leave that habit.
2093  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You have not lost a dime if your Bitcoin is in your wallet on: July 21, 2022, 09:49:42 PM
This is purely for newbies in crypto currency and those who does not understand how Bitcoin works, and are always quick to cry when Bitcoin price drop below the price they bought.
Note: if you own 1 btc in your private wallet at a bought price of $40,000 and now the price is $20,000 per Bitcoin, economically you are at $20,000/lost at the moment if you have sold your Bitcoin but if you still hold you 1 Bitcoin the value still remains the same is just the price that have changed. So as long as you have your private keys to the wllet that holds the Bitcoin with the 1 bitcoin balance you have not lost a dime.
My cancel is this
Have a futuristic view and a long term perspective about Bitcoin, and don't sell out of panic of Bitcoin dollars value unless you are at gain.
Some sold at
1:  $69,000
2:  $50,000
3:  $40,000
4'. $30,000
5:  $20,000
All this people sold at different prices but their all sold only 1 Bitcoin.
Hodle hodle hodle is my language.
That's it, 1 bitcoin will always remain 1 bitcoin if you chose to hold it despite of the panic in the market. And you're not losing at all if you never attempt to sell your coin. However, this is not the case for everyone as they always thought that once the value has dropped already, then its already considered a loss. Yes, its a total loss if you stop hodling your bitcoin and decides to sell it on a lower value. But if you prefer to keep it hodling and only sell it when the value skyrocket, then your 1 bitcoin will eventually be worth more than the value of the previous 1 bitcoin.
2094  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Countries have banned Bitcoin; Do you believe is because of criminal activities on: July 21, 2022, 09:24:25 PM

Most countries are giving excuses and  reason for banning Bitcoin is because it can easily be used to fund crimes.
But I think they are afraid of losing control of their citizens' financial activities because they believe being the ones regulating financial activities makes them powerful.
What are your thoughts
You can't expect for the government to say good about bitcoin, they will always create FUDs that will scare and threaten the people to avoid bitcoin at all cost. However, this excuse existed already before and maybe has worked before since the people are not yet familiar with bitcoin. But now that bitcoin has become a mainstream, and has proven its usefulness in more than a decade, only those who believe from this excuse are those left naive and fools. Those who are already aware on the facts about bitcoin will never be fooled anymore.
2095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Discussion] Should Online Gambling be Banned? on: July 18, 2022, 09:56:40 PM
Of course no.

Adult people can decide what to do with their money. It is not the government's business. People should have the right to lose money. If online gambling is going to get banned, they should ban real life gambling too. There is barely a difference.

What we need is a better education system and less population. Without these, there will always be lots of losers.
Gambling has become more established these days as they are now backed with big authorities. So what's the reason of banning it? Just because of a heavy loss? That is why only adults are allowed to gamble because they can already perceive what's right from wrong. If they will gamble all their hard-earned money, then they should be ready for the consequences. Gambling is designed for fun and entertainment, if one gambler goes beyond it and exceeds on his limits, i guess that's already his own problem. The gambling companies should not to be blame for it.
2096  Economy / Gambling / Re: I miss the old OnChain gambling on: July 18, 2022, 09:25:02 PM
Those were the days and I've seen one before that no registration is needed and you just send your bet to the given address per user/guest that visits them.

Well, we have to embrace the changes as before the authorities don't look at crypto gambling as a legit thing and it looks like a game to them. Now that money talks and the value and worth of the entire market is huge, they now have to make rules that they'll have to require the casinos for their customers to follow kyc.
Everything changes, as businesses and gambling casinos these days have been more regulated to be more safe and secured not only for the operators alone, but also for the players. The authorities have seen this coming, and for that KYC has been more established and strictly imposed. Although some still prefer the old and traditional way of gambling, but in most of the new generation these days, they have learn to love the new ways of gambling.
2097  Economy / Gambling / Re: A New Era for Betting - (After Corona Circumstances) on: July 18, 2022, 08:50:46 PM
Considering the time when they played in empty stadiums and then how people were allowed with masks and vaccinations as well I do think that we have come a really long way.

The whole idea is making sure that people do not spread the virus but at the same time there are countries like the UK where it's spreading tremendously but they are still having matches normally, The epidemic have improved the sanitation and provided a new era for gambling and betting undoubtedly.

I do think we are as close as we are going to get to normality but the online betting sites are an excellent alternative to in-person bettering especially concerning with sports betting as well. They provide more offers, have more practical applications and at the same time have better winning percentages in certain areas, what not to love?
If this globally pandemic has brought tremendous effects on most of the physical games, well online betting has also been given a chance to flourish and succeed. You can just enjoy the game watching at the expense of your home. However, since we are now in new normal, football and the rest of sports games have started to be alive again gaining back the interest of the players and the audience themselves. Just never mind the masks and vaccinations as they will always be part of the new normal.
2098  Economy / Gambling / Re: Good gambling tipster on: July 18, 2022, 08:23:23 PM
No, I don't know him. He doesn't have a lot of followers to be famous. And I don't think he can beat the casino in the long run because gambling depends only on luck. If you're not lucky you can't win the jackpot. I advise you to search on popular channels because such people are always looking for new ways to deceive, so pay attention!!!
You can always have other preferences for your bets but you should not rely in them for your decision making. Remember that gambling can't be predicted, as its always a game of chance or luck. If you want to follow some influencers or youtube vloggers for additional ideas, then do it but never trust them fully as they can be sometimes one sided. Always consider the game's statistics as it could be more convincing than relying your luck to some people's views and ideas.
2099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Teofimo Lopez vs Pedro Campa - Aug 13 on: July 18, 2022, 08:04:53 PM
Pedro Campa is very dangerous opponent for him besides he was adjusting on the weight, His opponent has a lot of experience and has a good previous record prior to this upcoming match. This is indeed a good fight because they are both a good hitter type boxer but I’m just concern to Lopez career after this match if he lose again to another dangerous boxer. He just suffer a terrible lose and this will be bad to his career once he lose once again.
I'm sure Lopez has prepared for it, but i think he's still be the underdog this time as majority of the audience will likely to end in favor with Campa. Lopez has endured losses prior to this fights, and if he will not improve his skills in the ring especially that Campa is not just an ordinary opponent, then he will end up with another loss which will create more destructions on his career. Well, will find out soon when August 13 comes, if Lopez can be the new light-welterweight champion.
2100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale Betting Strategy on BlackJack, how effective it is? on: July 18, 2022, 07:31:43 PM
People take it in different way. I personally see anything with gambling needs to be luck than skills to develop strategies. Even with blackjack, if the player is lucky he'll get the right cards after shuffle as well as while making a draw. So, there are more luck factors that decides the winning/losing. This happens even when you play well with good skills and strategies.
Gambling alone is a game of chance and luck. Whether players come to gamble with prepared skills and strategies, i don't think they can easily win bets without luck in them. Although there are games that are sometimes considered skill based, but in reality the fact that you gamble, you should have more luck other then skills for it to work. Martingale may increase our chances to win but its certainly very risky that it could be a source of your quick losses and leaves you empty handed.
