1221  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Experience of failure and success can help us control the emotions. on: March 23, 2023, 10:58:41 PM
In trading the number one enemy is our self emotions, many trader loss because they can't control thier emotions and it really affects thier decision making and sometimes it will become a reason for the big loss, in crypto we cannot be free from different emotions because everytime market condition is changing and it is really a high volatility market, i think experienced had a very big role on decision making, is this a reason why most of the newbie loss is it because they don't have enough of experience?
Experience is a big factor so you will be an efficient and successful trader in the long term. Without experience, you will find it hard to succeed in trading and you will always find it difficult to control your emotions especially when you are chasing for bigger profits, or you want to recover some losses. That’s the reason why controlling one’s emotion is a big challenge in trading, that most of traders fail to achieve it.
1222  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can old trading strategies work again? on: March 23, 2023, 09:27:22 PM
They may be or maybe not. It actually depends on how you trade in the market, if you prefer to use old or new developed strategies. However, old strategies may still be considered productive in the future if they are being updated or recondition and improve its ability to be still usable and productive. But you can always create something new, and develop a strategy based on your trading experiences in the market for years.
1223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how much money is considered as "invest only what you can afford to lose" on: March 22, 2023, 10:53:08 PM
It depends on an individual’s net of income. As long as you are going to invest not above your means, and you can afford to lose it, then that’s fine. After all, investments have still no guarantees to give you profits, some are still bound to lose, so you would always invest not from a borrowed money, but from your extra money that you won’t be used to pay your bills or to supply your basic commodities.
1224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Favorite Play’n Go Games and Experience on: March 20, 2023, 07:34:58 PM
I can tell you that Play'n Go is a well-known provider of online casino games, including slot machines, with a reputation for creating high-quality and engaging games. The high multiplier you achieved on Rise of Olympus is not uncommon for slot games, which frequently offer the possibility of large payouts and exciting gameplay experiences.
However, it should be noted that the outcome of slot games is determined by random chance and cannot be predicted. While you may have had a good time playing new Play'n Go slot games, it's important to remember to gamble responsibly and set limits for yourself.
I played these games numerous times, but I never received a large multiplier.
Maybe there are really some lucky gamblers who got the chance to create large multipliers through Play’n Go games but to be honest, even myself still find it hard to win here. But I still see myself playing most of the slot games because I see good chances here to experience huge profits, as long as I’m lucky enough. However, knowing that slot games are purely based on luck and chances, at least we should only gamble our spare money, that is to avoid regretting when you’re at loss.
1225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs John Ryder - May 6th in Mexico on: March 20, 2023, 07:05:50 PM
Not that surprising because we have already heard this man's name even before Canelo Alvarez underwent to a much needed surgery because his wrist has been in pain since the Canelo-GGG III fight. I'm just glad that this fight is now a done deal because people are waiting for Canelo's return as he have a lot of boxer now queued to fight him afterwards, Canelo may put his belt on the line on this one but let's not forget that this is just a tune-up fight.
Yes, just a tune-up fight but I am still expecting to see a good fight here and would not be surprise if Canelo will definite give his opponent another crucial fight as seen with his devastating body punching. It’s certain that most people will root for Canelo to be the favorite here, but I just hope that John Ryder will also give justice to the fight as he is never an ordinary boxer too seeing his quite impressive boxing record.
1226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The journey of successful business man who were professional gamblers on: March 20, 2023, 06:34:34 PM
Well many people keep saying the casino always win and you will make a lot money after creating a casino, but it's not that simple because the developer need to pay a programmer to create the site, pay the operational costs e.g. live support, marketing etc, they need to pay license, pay the gambling provider etc. If there's not many gamblers who want to gamble, the casino will not make any profit and they need to keep paying the operational costs.
That is why casinos design the provably fair system to favour the house, the house edge will always put the casino ahead of the player and as a matter of fact, luck doesn't always come by, so we all lose to the house at some point.

-But in some instances, the gamblers winz against the house, the impact of high revenue demand on the casino's operators by various bills that wish to be paid, this have made running costs very high and left the casino operator with no choice but to grab all there could from the players.
Gamblers might sometimes take advantage over the house, but in most cases, its always the house that will win over gamblers as gambling casino is certainly design to win, not to lose. However, if gambling casinos cannot stay on top of other casinos and fail to be competitive, then certainly it’s a loss for them. That’s the biggest challenge when you are in a business, you have to make sure that you’re always on top or has the edge over others, otherwise you will lost your business and eventually your expected profits too.
1227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top 3 Reasons Why Cytpocurrency Gambling is more Addictive than Fiat Gambling! on: March 20, 2023, 06:05:55 PM
Due to some advantages, the tendency to gambling with cryptocurrency is much higher. As a result, the crypto gambling platform has developed rapidly. Here the most important thing is that gamblers are tries to remain anonymous. Many people emphasize deposit and withdrawal system. It depends entirely on the gambler's own self. Moreover, I used to do gambling by Fiat Money in 2012. But since getting the advantages of Crypto, i never returned to fiat till today.
Crypto gambling these days has gained more demand than the traditional gambling, and most especially with non-KYC feature, gamblers have become more interested to gamble knowing their privacy is not at risk. And to think that crypto gambling gives you more chances to win such exceptional amount, compared to the winnings in fiat, then it’s not surprising that most gamblers take the risk in crypto gambling than being sucked and left behind with fiat gambling.
1228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's on! 2024 US Presidential Election Biden+Harris Vs Trump Bitcoin betting.... on: March 20, 2023, 05:45:45 PM
~.... and Trump should go back to celebrity TV shows, where he is better equip to blow his own horn.  Roll Eyes

The rush on the US Capital and Trump's contribution to that, should never be forgotten, even if he were acquitted from that.  Roll Eyes

This is what I'm totally agree with you on. It was just a miracle that things didn't turn out much worse. The attack on the United States Capitol, I mean. In a less Democratic country Trump would go to jail for his contribution to that. But unfortunately many Americans, I feel like almost half of them, but I would be happy to be wrong about this, many Americans support Republicans. And among Republicans around 60% want see Donald Trump as the president.
Not sure about the percentage, but one thing is certain is that most Americans put their blame on the camp of Donald Trump about the violence that takes place on the attack on the Capitol. Though the rioters create the huge mess, but Trump should be accountable why the attack happened. I have to agree that in a less democratic country, Trump should go to jail and pay the consequences of his action. But Trump eventually overcome the issue, because he can control the government because of his power.
1229  Economy / Economics / Re: Has anyone felt lost in pursuit of financial freedom ? on: March 19, 2023, 10:05:39 PM
In pursuit of financial freedom we later realize that we are exhausted by too many things that burden us. As they said money makes the world round, and it's true coz nowadays without money, you can no longer survive in this world. We seek money not only  for happiness but for survival, in the end we became tired due to extreme competition that we have to go through to earn money.

Nowadays getting resources such as money to buy our needs is very hard, lots of competition and so many competitors. Not everyone has the same opportunities, but we are all equal on the fact that we are all given the same 24 hours a day. Saying that we are all in the same boat is nonsense, as I've said, not everyone is equal to receive the same opportunities, that is why it's best to utilize what you are good at or what makes you unique. This topic is closely related to getting lost in your way in pursuit of financial freedom, but as long as you keep your feet on the ground while holding your head up, then you will be fine.
Money, whether you accept it or not, is also the reason why we are still alive and actively kicking up to these days. Without money, you will find it hard to stay alive. That’s why people seek a lot of opportunities to earn money and later on tend to forget that life is not all about money. Money is just a single factor, and there are other  factors needed to enjoy and sustain life. But for some people who are eager to earn maximum profits and become financially stable and achieve financial freedom, then they will always struggle and end up seeing themselves tiring and exhausting. But in reality, if you only know how to balance work and pleasure, then you will never have to experience tiredness and being exhausted in pursuit for financial stability and freedom.
1230  Economy / Gambling / Re: No bet is a waste on: March 19, 2023, 09:45:22 PM

Please if you guys will allow me, from now onward I will be dropping daily 3 odds here on this thread, if you want to stick, stick with little amount.

Why not there are guys who do this as long as you are transparent on your bets, you are actually helping some members who bet the same sports as you, by giving them another insight on the match, and you seem confident that your choices are good, because if not you'll not going to create this thread, but there should be a disclaimer that you will not be at fault and members should bet at their own risk.
In fact, this could bring an advantage especially for those who are still starting to bet and find it hard to make a bet from a good analysis, so free bets could help in one way or another as long as they can be trusted bets. And thanks OP for reminding every bettors to try first with a small amount, that thought alone will gain a lot of appreciation from all of us. Keep posting OP, I’ll start following you by then.
1231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How my lack of knowledge has blinded me so far on: March 19, 2023, 09:31:37 PM
There are people like me who dislike KYC verification requirements from online casinos, and I always have two complaints about it.

1. Why the need for KYC.

2. Why pretend they won't ask for KYC, but ask for verification after a big win.

All of that could be part of the terms of service (TOS), or they are required by regulators to verify their clients once they hit a big amount of money. Sometimes, not all the information we need to know is present in the TOS, but as long as it's legally enforceable, we can't blame the gambling site for doing their job to comply with the regulators.

Unless in the case of scam casinos.
There’s no wrong actually for KYC if you see it on the positive side, but if you are completely against it, because you viewed it negatively, then you will never really like the idea that online casinos have made it compulsory for all gamblers, maybe not for small winnings, but definitely for huge winnings amount. However, if you come to understand their TOS, you will never question about KYC, and you will expect that they are just following the rules and regulations coming from the regulators. Otherwise, if they won’t stick to it, their casino business will also be fined because of non-compliance.
1232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will this Statement alone be enough to Prove my Gambling Loses for Tax Deduction on: March 19, 2023, 09:15:21 PM
From my experience with tax laws, no country will tax you for gambling losses, they can only do that if you have an aggregate gambling gain over the tax period.

And the issue is that it's not easy for countries to tax their citizens the way you have explained, though it's viable for you to prove you gained or lost. However, some would still evade tax through that as there are many schemes through which they do this, especially when they could gamble online, and with crypto.

This is why a country that wants to tax its citizens always has arrangements with the gambling company, they might tax your ticket directly or have the record they will duplicate for the government in order to know how to tax you. But one must be living in their country for the latter to be effective.

Either way, it depends on the country, but you shouldn't be taxed if you are not gaining.
I have never seen or heard such countries that imposed taxes even in times when you are at loss. Maybe it could be true for some who are really making it huge in gambling, but for those who are at loss, it will be additional loss for them if ever the government will still taxed them. Like in lottery, although taxes maybe included already in our tickets or bets, but most especially if you hit the jackpot prize, you will never receive the full winning amount indicated in the screen as they will still deduct quite big amount for the tax.
1233  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do You Feel Inadequate or Inspired After Watching These Types of Traders Content on: March 19, 2023, 08:58:38 PM
As a small bitcoin trader, I feel intimidated rather than inspired when watch certain YouTube or Social Media titles or content like "Day in the Life of a Young Millionaire Trader in Dubai" or "Day In The Life of a 23 Year Old Making $10,000 a Day", or "A Day In The Life of a Crypto Trader" etc. They feature young millionaire traders in beautiful places or traders who make thousands of dollars and to be honest, it creates a feeling of inadequacy or distress in me because I am yet to reached those levels of success yet. However, I have begun to avoid them and what I do is to focus on my own trading goals and aspirations. As a small bitcoin trader, have you ever felt intimidated, distressed, inadequate or inspired after watching these types of videos or content?
I never felt intimidated because I know exactly what it’s like to be a trader, and definitely it’s not easy but very hard especially for beginner traders. However, once you develop your skill in trading and master the strategies, then it’s really possible that you could earn huge profits through trading and earn millions. There are already successful traders these days and I’m certainly happy of whatever they achieved. The reason why I am also working on my own so I can be something like them, hopefully in the future.
1234  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will you advice a new trader to join a trading community or group? on: March 18, 2023, 10:32:20 PM
I will not suggest and I also will not prohibit beginners from joining communities or trading groups. That can be fine as long as the goal is to gain knowledge and share experiences with each other on what to do in trading. Also it will not be good if the initial goal is wrong, such as following other people's trading methods, or swallowing what people in the group say. And also don't be mistaken for having a trading community or group, because many of them only take advantage of new members for their own interests, such as selling trading signals or something like that.
There are actually some advantages on joining a trading community, you share trade ideas, you learn from the experiences of others, you find immediate friends to support you on your trades especially when you’re devastated, and while the interest keeps growing, your learning will also not stop. However, if you join these communities to pay others to do trading for you, that is a disadvantage on your part. Although you can be stress free and trade effortless, but in the end you learned nothing and just become loser when those people who trade for you will leave the community. It’s good to engage yourself in a trading community, but never rely on them for your decision making in doing your final trades.
1235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most of the world population involved in gambling on: March 18, 2023, 09:59:15 PM
There must be definite data so we can say most people, that can be done through a survey but if the survey is conducted only in certain countries then it still cannot describe that most people gamble because the culture of a region can affect whether people gamble or not. However, saying that sports make people gamble is not entirely true because many sports lovers stick to the love of watching and not betting. So everyone has to go through a study with an even sample in each country so that we can say most people gamble
It’s a fact that gambling has now become very known to all parts of the world, but I cannot agree that most of the world’s population have been gambling. The fact that some religions and certain traditions are against to it, then these people involved in such religion or tradition are definitely not allowed to gamble. And while most of us love sports and entertainment, it does not mean that we all gamble for that. Some are just being entertained with sports gambling, but not a lot of people involve themselves in gambling.
1236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Physical gambling and internet gambling which is more fun. on: March 18, 2023, 09:45:45 PM
Playing gambling is physically more fun because we interact directly with people who also play there, even interact directly with the dealer, and we don't find that in online gambling. However, for easy access and time efficiency, online gambling is very efficient. We can access anytime and anywhere.
It's natural that physical gambling might be more fun, but for people who don't like crowds, online gambling is more fun. This goes back to each of us in my opinion, which place is more fun in our opinion, physical gambling or online gambling.
I guess no matter how most of us see physical gambling as more fun, but this idea may not be true to all especially for introvert people. They like to be on their own most of the time and they enjoy more when they are not with other people, and that’s where online gambling has existed on their own advantage. Although online gambling has become more useful these days because of its easy accessibility, especially when covid attacks, but if we compare traditional gambling over this online gambling, it’s still more fun and exciting betting in an open crowd where most of the players are also rooting for their individual bets.
1237  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A reminder that with your bitcoin in a cold storage, you can be your own bank on: March 18, 2023, 09:30:31 PM
Having a Bitcoin wallet definitely gives you a lot more control over your funds. You can send and receive money without having to wait for a bank to approve it, and you don't have to worry about fees eating away at your hard-earned cash. Yeah, it's like being your own personal bank, but without all the hassle and paperwork. And let's be real, who wouldn't want that? And who knows, maybe one day we'll all be using it to buy our morning coffee and bagels like it's no big deal.

But like you said, with great power comes great responsibility. You gotta make sure your wallet is safe and secure, or else you risk losing all your coins. So don't forget to keep your private keys under lock and key, and maybe even consider using a hardware wallet for extra security.

That’s actually the best advantage of owning bitcoin because you can have its full control through putting them in your own cold storage wallet. You can do whatever you want without worrying if the banks will approve or not, and you can earn unlimited amount of bitcoin without the interruption of banks like setting your account limited amount of bitcoin to save. This is really giving us freedom over the banks. But apart from this, we should also be responsible of the safety and security of our own account. We should keep it private as much as we can by not disclosing to others that we have bitcoins in our account because that will trigger some scammers to create harm against us so they can steal our coins without our awareness.
1238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I think that there are Dark secrets in every Successful Business on: March 18, 2023, 09:14:04 PM

What they are saying about someone has to lose something for the winning to win big. The real estate business must be a dirty business for some powerful men. For him to have access to acres of land, he has to make people sell.

I saw the documentary about Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos buying up the farmlands, they are a few of the rich who could really implement a smart city on thier own land.
For them to gain more wealth through owning hectares of land, it’s very possible that they will take advantage on the land properties of the poor people and eventually put them into a worst situation so they will be force to sell their lands. I’ve heard the same story here in my country wherein a powerful politician is owning forcefully the lands of the poor people here. That’s why I really believe that every successful business has its own dark secrets, though not all successful businessmen are responsible for this.
1239  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some of the most common mistakes we make as beginners, and how to avoid them. on: March 17, 2023, 10:45:23 PM
Some people believe that these forums are simply places where we can come and succeed in life if we participate in them. This is not the case

For the fact that you're not into ponzi schemes doesn't mean you cannot still make it in life on a quicker track through this forum, this platform is the only community I've ever seen that guide one through a right path in life because you learn here in different aspects, you build a career here, you participate in a campaign if you so wish, you meet people and relate, you got exposed to the real world here because this platform constitute every potential and positive thoughts thinking people allover the world with a common goal, which is bitcoin and many other opportunities that may come through that while being on the forum.
The forum has nothing to do with our success, it’s the potentials within us that we should develop and help them enhanced through the forum’s reliable members. And when we start developing them, we should also learn from other people’s experiences in the forum as we can learn a lot of them especially in making us more confident in facing our mistakes and correcting them.
1240  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Being drunk while trading what was your experience on: March 17, 2023, 10:19:13 PM
Sorry to raise this topic over here, it was too heavy for me to answer all alone so I decided to share here to see some reasonable answer from those that have been in such situations. An hour ago, I went out with a friend of mine and it happens to be a drinking hall (beer parlor) where he got drunk and as well trading.
The question is, can you trade while you are already drunk?
I was asked this question because I have never been in that mood before being drunk while trading and those who have been in that condition what was your actions and reaction while trading because I noticed something very hard for someone to be drunk and as well trade, do you make profits or keep losing maybe do you close your trade after being drunk.

I have reason where this topic should be posted but if any of you think this topic is not at the right place then suggest me the proper place where I can moved it to I will be very grateful.

The floor is always open for more discussions.
You can always trade even when you are drunk, but the chances of winning your trades is very rare as mostly end up losing them. Trading is quite hard and difficult to succeed, so if one trade without the ability to monitor the market consistently, he will always end up failing and lost his money. That’s exactly the reason why people only trade when their minds are active and fresh, and not that they are bothered and not in their whole self being.
