2081  Other / Off-topic / Re: your internet costs and income on: January 16, 2020, 09:19:39 PM
along with the development of digital technology, have you ever thought about the internet costs that you use for your needs ...? where we always open the market every day and trade your cryptocurrency assets, let's calculate with your income, in one day whether you always explore exchanges, social media, upload, share and other sites, is it commensurate with your income or is it commensurate with the sale and purchase of your cryptocurrency assets ...? where every time we make a sale and purchase there will be a cost, and the time we spend does not count how many hours we live on our computer or smartphone and etc, ..?
When talking about internet's costs and income, let's talk about it's benefits too and whether they outweigh income or not. With internet you can have conversations with people, watch movies, download games, book hotel, check discounts and a lot of fun. In overall internet saves our time, gives us possibility to do a lot of job with little cost and from home without even going anywhere. When you want to buy fragrance for example, prices offered online are far beneficial than those ones in local stores, we save rental prices here and other costs. So the one answer to your question from business perspective can be that internet gives some business possibility to save tons of money and have store available for 24/7 (online).
Internet cost isn't huge at all, it's pretty cheap but still depends on the country where you live but I agree with that mobile data is expensive but people use flat internet most of the times because of no data restrictions and affordable price.
2082  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain the most desirable skill of 2020 according to LinkedIn on: January 16, 2020, 09:54:10 AM
Blockchain isn't skill, blockchain is technology and skills are following: Public Speaking, Communication, Writing, Creative thinking and etc. Being a blockchain developer is really top profession as for now because lately there was huge demand on implementing of blockchain technologies. There were a lot of news on websites like: Newborn registry in Brasil via blockchain technologies, Some contracts with Bitfury regarding to BC integration, HSBC's huge interest in BC technologies, there are even more things. So demand on integration of blockchain technologies skyrockets daily while blockchain developers remain few, this is huge opportunity for people who are in information technologies to move on it and develop further.
2083  Other / Archival / Re: Ever played at any of these casinos? on: January 15, 2020, 10:22:01 PM
Has anyone ever? I think you are joking. Fortunejack is very well known on this forum. Only responses from us can't be enough to give you accurate imagination of top casinos. At some point number of replies in ANN threads of casinos can help you to determine it because for example PrimeDice has highest number of replies and is really one of the most famous dice website. To consider the number of replies and time frame, casino Stake is really on top positions too. You need to reset your list because there aren't a lot of very popular casinos included and for some reason you have 1xbit in your list, very well known scam casino.
2084  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: to be able to get a large profit in today's trading is very difficult! on: January 15, 2020, 09:25:06 PM
I wouldn't say that these last months or this year in overall was bad for even daily trading because price rise/fall was common daily. It was like following: One day price was 9000, then 9500, then 9000, then 8500, then 8200 and then 8600 and so on, I take this numbers as an example. This is great opportunity for trader, such price movement is what attracts traders but of course it makes difficult to guess tomorrow's price, this could be the reason why some may say that profitable trading was difficult this month, at some point yes cause current price was making it extra hard to trade often (it was like 50/50 rise and fall) but it was great for holders, saw great price? Sell, wait for a while to see low one, did you see it? Then buy immediately and sell again when you'll see high price. This year was like that, pretty easy to catch not all but only good moments.
See so nice chart:
2085  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright provided the list of addresses that contains 1.1 million btc on: January 15, 2020, 08:07:31 PM
@LoyceV Hide your tools or Craig Wright will come and use them to prove that he has list of first 1000 bitcointalk user or something similar.
Btw it's very funny but the funniest thing is that Craig Wright is under crypto media's attention but the worst is that he is in Hot Stories.
Well, let's mention McAfee for a while, he and Craig share a lot of things in claiming but... McAfee states that Wright was part of creating of bitcoin (totally eleven people in group) but he says that Wright isn't satoshi and he knows who he is (but somehow doesn't seem to prove).
So finally I don't understand what's the aim, you can't build house with singing, you need action and this is the parallel of what Wright is doing. Anyone can provide list, his this action proves that he is joking again, jokes worse than baby and this thing is still official, it's really shame from court.
2086  Other / Meta / Re: What exactly needs to be entered in "website field" of the profile page? on: January 15, 2020, 02:05:23 PM
As I mentioned there was profile where I saw it was displayed telegram and on click it was a referral link I asked about that.
Was there a t.me link? If yes, then there is nothing wrong with it but please can you link us the profile to understand it better what you mean (if I am wrong)?
In overall you can feel free to enter any link you wish in your profile's website field. You can see this option on many website/forum and some people put their website's link in order to get backlink and improve seo. But for that purpose I think using of your signature will be better, it will index a lot of links with meta text (some of them may have PR 1 and higher) while your profile link may not be that much usable, I hugely doubt anyone will click on earth icon under your profile.

2088  Other / Meta / Re: Why does Bitcointalk not have a custom (specific) logotype? on: January 15, 2020, 01:34:07 PM
Web design, logo and overall look was never a priority of this forum. If you use web.archive.org then you'll see that website looks the same as it was years ago, the only difference is that there was merit and some features added, otherwise there is still place to enter your ICQ:AIM:MSN:YIM. Almost no one uses these communication methods right now. This website may needs rebranding (I still like it this way) and new forum software will be the result of that, after finishing working on that and already integrating with current one, they may be offer for logo from theymos on this website with good reward. But still better to get answer from him, hope he will post there.
2089  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Ready to start my marketing campaign - Any Tips and Hints? on: January 15, 2020, 01:20:08 PM
Ok so we have everything we need to launch the marketing campaign for ProxiAir (https://proxiair.com)
Need to find a  useful way of keeping my audience updated on our campaign.

Curt

First of all you have to contact airline companies and be partner of famous ones like Turkish Airlines, British airways and etc. Ryanair and wizzair are great options too because they have high demand because of cheap prices. Well, contact as much airlines company as possible and present yourself to them. You know how to do it, it's very complex task to talk about.
Once you do this, then you have to run campaign, I think it will be possible to get some support from airlines companies because adoption of your technology will be beneficial for them and they have to introduce this benefit to their customers or possible customers and make them sure that by integrating this new technology, their bags won't be lost.
Another way that comes to my mind is to run massive advertisements on youtube like wix.com and ipage.com did. Also you can partner with TV shows, for example there is one Russian tv show Орел и Решка (their youtube has 2,55 million subscriber) and be sponsor of them, I think it sounds nice and very beneficial.
2090  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Motivate currency exchangers in big city centres to exchange bitcoin ? on: January 15, 2020, 11:45:06 AM
I didn't know if people had so high ambition 9-10 years ago when bitcoin was just 1-2 years old. I think this thread mustn't be so dead and that's why I am posting too.
There are a lot of currency exchanges in streets, they have better exchange rates than banks and people usually use them (I don't mean exclusive exchange rates from banks, those are for millionaires). They are good in offline work but it can be possible to offer bitcoin exchange rates that will be better than the ones that are offered from online exchanges, at least they will be far better than bitcoin ATM rates but it needs analyse and some staff to make it work. Once people will see stick of Bitcoin logo on doors/walls of many exchanges, they'll get more interested with it + most of the times there are shops near to exchanges, when owner of this shop will see that these exchanges have B logo, they may as well get interested to accept bitcoin payments. OP's opinion is really correct, we don't only need to offer better exchange rates and availability but to create high demand on it but Western Union and other money transfer companies that are partners of such exchanges will be against this to happen because they charge high fees and get solid profit from this business + have control on money.
2091  Other / Meta / Re: Request a list of all active accounts registered in 2011. on: January 15, 2020, 10:17:38 AM
Perhaps it would be possible if most of member search options weren't disabled but there is one option that comes to my mind. The first account that registered in 2011 starts with profile ID: 3130 and ends with 48828. It seems in just 2011 year, 45,698 members were registered. Idk how can I help you further, you need program with algorithm that will check this URLs like bruteforce and save information about them in one file and then you manually check their last activity with search of 2019 like you do in excel for example.
Some accounts that I just found are:
ElectricMucus
kano <-- he is known good guy.
Cluster2k

2092  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When trading, never ignore the statoshi value of your coins on: January 15, 2020, 09:30:27 AM
Few days ago I decided to utilize some fraction of bitcoin just sitting in my trading wallet to try profiting from the market. Although I may profit when the profits was calculated in dollars but unknowingly I lost massively in Satoshi value. That means assuming I just kept hold of my coins I would had made almost the same value I made with the coins i bought. Many traders haven't realized this yet but just get carried away with the US value of their trades without realizing they lost some satosh in the process.  When training, what are you mostly concerned about, to gain more profit in bitcoin or gain more in usd dollar without minding if you lost some Satoshi value?.
Final aim is to get more profit in USD dollar but for this I need to gain more profit in bitcoin you know. So when price is low, I mostly concentrate on when to sell bitcoin and how soon will I see low price to buy even more bitcoins, then I repeat the same process, mostly successfully but it's still hard decision for me. For example when price was 13K last year (in summer), I immediately sold my bitcoin and when price felt on 9K, I bought them back. I know it wasn't a good time cause we saw further fall but I am still satisfied with the result. Now I have even more bitcoins and waiting further rise to sell them and profit.
2093  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bet and win Crypto! Crypsino 💲🎲🃏 Crypto Casino on: January 14, 2020, 11:41:03 PM
It's really a shame, maybe you can buy casino script for learning purposes or to take some free time with already written code and modify it for own casino but you can't launch casino business with just paying 100$ in script and that's all. It still even depends on script, I have seen professional ones that are rented. You can keep that script, but at least keep some shame and show your website to people with different template cause almost every new casino wears same cms and same design, it's not nice.
I'll include link of official script to prove fairness of my words: https://codecanyon.net/item/crypto-casino-slot-machine-online-gambling-platform-laravel-5-application/23088602
2094  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why only 6.2 percent of American citizens own Bitcoin? on: January 14, 2020, 10:41:26 PM
At first I want to say that we don't depend on America to see the adoption of bitcoin, no, it will be their problem if they don't take care of it. According to survey published by Spencer Bogart, 11% of Americans own bitcoin. It's not small number and we have to consider that bitcoin is 11 years old currency, for this period of time it's even highly adopted.
When we talk around that numbers, we don't have to forget that quality over quantity matters and this, another fact that's sad in reality: In 2007 the richest 1% of the American population owned 35% of the country's total wealth. <-- This need to be fixed, not number of Americans who own bitcoin as for now.
2095  Economy / Economics / Re: 10M Bitcoins Haven’t Moved in More Than a Year, Highest Since 2017 on: January 14, 2020, 10:16:54 PM
There is no reason for many people to sell over the past year, even though the rises were due to the good news about accepting/creating digital payments in China that makes many people predict the good future of digital currencies.

I expect the scales to change if the price drops sharply after the next halving.
The fact that about 8 million coins did not move seems scary, which could lead to a complete collapse in prices if things do not go well after the next halving.
Don't know what to say and hope anymore because once I think things are getting better, then opposite happens. Pretty often there is some lit that has to turn into fire but somehow it quickly fades away. The fact that more than 10 million bitcoins haven't moved means a lot, it means that almost 60% of people is strictly looking for price to rise and of course another 40% one can't be in opposition, we all need higher price for high profit, current statistics shows that we are ready for that as we were ready in past when bitcoin reach to 20K. Personally I look it like a very positive forecast and still again have hope that price will rise a lot. Today' situation is even great, we had 7% rise and price hit to 8800 USD, that' pretty good.
2096  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else think "long term" hodlers are idiots? on: January 14, 2020, 10:45:58 AM
Some people even think that those who invested in bitcoin and hold it are all idiots but who cares? Because just see statistics, no one can say that holding or even hodling wasn't beneficial because numbers are just proof of that. So now imagine those who invested in bitcoin when price was some cents and sold it when price was 20K. It would be a long term hold because price was some cents in 2008-2009 and we saw huge price rise in 2017 so what? If someone hold for 9 years, it would be more than 50000x rise in price. Are those people silly and are you smart who did 5% profit from trading or even lose that?
2097  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BiFi - Bitcoin Paid VPN Wifi (Need Investor/Support) on: January 14, 2020, 10:20:13 AM
Idea is pretty good, really, I especially liked that you are going to offer solar powered charging cable, that shows not only benefits of free energy but also the support of further clean energy. You need serious amount of money and finding investor that will fulfill your hopes will be hard. If I were you, I would look for investors in your local country too. Also going on some meetups and events and presenting of your idea will be a good.
What about to think on something like this: In countries there are paid wifi networks around the cities, for example Orange in Paris. What about to offer such WiFi with VPN service but paid with visa/mastercard and others along bitcoin?
2098  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotalk Future on: January 14, 2020, 09:35:50 AM
Seems they already have serious traffic, according to Alexa.com cryptotalk's alexa rank is 47,475 and bitcointalk's alexa rank - 10,398. Also most part of their visitors are Russian, then comes Pakistan and India. For bitcointalk it looks following: India, United States and Brazil. Also Daily Time on Site on cryptotalk is 1.5x higher compared to bitcointalk (this last one has 5:54). So I would say that cryptotalk really achieved something significant during their campaign in a very short time.
But there is one thing that I think about: Cryptotalk has just better design and their own pay per post which is pretty similar of our signature campaigns, so nothing significant there. Also they don't have as much erudite people as we have and even level of bitcointalk's erudite people is huge. Now imagine bitcointalk moved on new forum software, we will achieve better design and functions so why will anyone use cryptotalk? It's current benefits will be written off.
2099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling cashback services? on: January 13, 2020, 11:15:43 PM
OP you mean rakeback, yeah? Bitsler has integrated amazing Vip Levels system on their website. There are Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and even higher Vip Levels with a lot of rewards. You can claim Reward Chest and key from wagering on bronze level, reward and possibilities growth when your level increases, for example on silver there is higher reward and you can participate in Billionth bet event, from gold level you can have access on gold rakeback (the thing that you are looking for).
There is given an example from bitslerregarding to rakeback:
Quote
if you have a rakeback rate of 24%, weekly rakeback boost of 2% and bet BTC 200 on a game with 2% house edge (like Boom.) You will earn: 200 * 0.02 * 0.26 = BTC1.04 in rakeback
.
From other casinos, as far as I know, bitdice has good rakeback system. Also maybe FJ offers something similar via points.
2100  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: bitcoin-converter.com on: January 13, 2020, 09:43:37 PM
1. Find a shorter and better domain name.
2. Make the conversion instant (without the need of clicking the convert button).
3. Add smaller units. (mBTC, Satoshi's etc.)
4. I know you're probably doing it for SEO but you should avoid filling the page with FAQs, descriptions, and random articles. It's clear what your website does, it's self-explanatory.
I think his domain is pretty good, especially for seo purposes. Second one is really good advice but at the same time also he has bitcoin conversion table where all prices are shown. Also if you checked, he has that option on prices that are shown on top (but make it like to get rid of web refresh).
Random articles are great choice from his side to my mind but these articles mustn't be really random, I would include articles which are written about bitcoin's price that includes weekly analytics, really hot news and other important ones, news that may be beneficial and interesting for a person who is looking for conversation rates. As an example I can tell you recent news where it was written that Bitcoin is selling for 24000$ in Iran but he has to refresh them very often.
