2101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: HOW I BECAME A GAMBLER on: May 22, 2019, 02:07:13 PM
~snip~
Not true for a lot of man here. Most think it as an easy of earning some passive income despite the risk of losing everything. It's entertainment to me as well. I occasionally or sometimes gamble 1 or 2 hour max.
I am a sports gambler especially in cricket. I don't gamble much is casino games or in real life casinos. Sports gambling it's less riskier than casino gambling.

It is true that Sports gambling is less risky than casino gambling but let's be honest, it is still gambling and there are still these risks that we deal with. Gambling will always be gambling and as said by a lot of gamblers, even if it is a skill-based game, luck is still needed though for me that is just a coincidence. People should avoid gambling since every bet they will make will give them false hope of winning a lot of money and making it a source of income, in reality, it is the reverse of what they are expecting.
2102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You cannot win in gambling on: May 22, 2019, 12:27:24 PM
It will depend on pure luck I as I am very unlucky also in terms in gambling. I've been a sports gambling addict before, NBA playoffs is my favorite time to gamble a good amount of money as the thrill is there.

You already said it, that will depend on pure luck and I don't think that it exists, it is just all coincidences and we thought that it is your lucky day, well for me it is just a series of coincidences following things that you want to happen at that time. Everyone has their own shares of lucky day and that is the same with gamblers out there though it only happens so rarely that you can count that scenarios with your fingers.
2103  Economy / Economics / Re: Jobs Created by the Blockchain & Bitcoin on: May 22, 2019, 12:03:00 PM
Well, with the volatile price of Bitcoin, a lot of people invested their money into it. There are a lot of platforms that accept Bitcoin have investors ranging from gambling sites, exchange and even lending sites. Advertisements are not of an old job but with a lot of projects of crypto currencies on the internet, advertisers are needed to spread their certain goals and objectives to call out investors.
2104  Economy / Economics / Re: Dont believe on sale on: May 22, 2019, 11:34:45 AM
Sales are their strategies to earn or sell the things that are not that popular with its normal price. It is true though that there are some items on the sale that is much higher than it's normal price but not all of the stores are doing such a thing. For example, I've set my eyes on an item for months in a store and I thought that it will be bought quickly since for me it is a great painting. But while time passes, it is not been taken by anyone so I consider myself lucky and at that time, they start to put a discount on it, so lucky indeed.
2105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC and Gold? on: May 21, 2019, 11:22:43 PM
I think BTC and Gold really have their own advantages and disadvantages. Not only because Gold is tangible the reason it is so popular and mostly used but because it is the used reserve of a country. We don't need to choose one of them, we can just invest in those two. That is what other people is doing, well they can afford to invest in a lot of assets.
2106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big Merchants Now Accepting Bitcoin on: May 19, 2019, 12:09:05 AM
That is so great, and I hope that continues since if there are a lot of users of Bitcoin, that means that there will be also a high chance of price getting higher, well the higher the demand, the higher the price. Even though Bitcoin is legal in our country, I don't see much people using Bitcoin as a payment method the reason they usually hold it rather than use it.
2107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you are regretting not encashing read this ' on: May 18, 2019, 11:45:12 PM
Despite my wife laughing at the last word, she misread that, the price is falling but it is not lower than the previous price that we have which is in the range of $3000 to $4000. We should be really patient, patience is a great virtue especially as an investor. If you invested earlier at the price that I said, even if the price is falling, you should have no regrets.
2108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you know game like pusoy or tongits? on: May 18, 2019, 11:20:27 PM
I really don't know what is the game that you are mentioned in your topic but after reading this I definitely try to search them how to use this and how to play this .

This is an awesomely popular card game in the Philippines, I am a Filipino the reason I know it. Some say it is the poker of our country but I don't know about that. From teenagers to adult here, they know what it is. The popularity of it makes a lot of developers to make a game out of it, and you can search it on the play store if you want to. Another popular card games here in the Philippines are Lucky 9 and well the variation of Pusoy which is the Pusoy uno and the Pusoy dos.
2109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Skill-based Gambling/games? on: May 18, 2019, 10:32:03 PM
The only true skill-based gambling game that I can think of is Poker.

There are a lot of other skill-based games, not just poker. There are blackjack and the popular sports betting. Setting that aside, this is a great information for some gamblers thay usually bet on pure luck based games.
2110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How did today bullish trend affect gambling! on: May 18, 2019, 02:58:03 PM
Bitcoin went as higher as $4909 today on some exchanges platforms!  It is the highest this year and will like to find out how does today sparked affect gambling and betting?

This post is still last month but we can now say it did happen but at a higher price. For me nothing changed here, gamblers will stay at gambling and use their crypto currencies or their fiats, whatever they prefer. The only thing that changes here is the price of BTC which I think is better since they can bet higher than normal but with a normal amount if you know what I mean.
2111  Economy / Economics / Re: what makes us good investors. on: May 18, 2019, 02:28:19 PM
One who is ready to face the market with alternate plans make an user a good investor, before investing analyzing well about the market is must. After analyzing when invested and if things go out of hands we should have patience or the alternate plan to eliminate loss and get back the investment fund.

Loss is part of investing and it is inevitable since we are talking about crypto currency here. They are so volatile, we all know that and that is the reason why losing is inevitable. Usually, most of the investors of cryptos hold their currencies, the reason they don't usually use their investments they just hold it hoping it will increase more. There are ways to lessen the loss but as I've said, it is inevitable.
2112  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is heading back to $6k on: May 18, 2019, 01:51:37 PM
Right now we are way above $6k. About a some few days ago we touched the heights of $8k and now we have declined again into the regions of $7k. My next prediction is $10k hahaha...Let's watch folks, hold some bitcoins before it's too late guys.

in my opinion, so we get All time high again, we need strong support and by retracement or correction, the market will grow and be healthy enough and it will continue to increase, but it must be increasing gradually to have strength in upcoming bullish trend

Well, correction is really inevitable when it comes to these sudden price increases. I don't think we should be surprised by the sudden price decrease as it will be the start of another pump. When the price pumps, people should take the opportunity to invest again since we all know that when the price dumps, the next movement will be a pump.
2113  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining in the cloud vs simply buying bitcoin on: May 18, 2019, 11:42:54 AM
Well, buying Bitcoin is much better than mining in the cloud. As far as I know, there are a lot of people that are scammed by a site in the past, I don't know the site though since all I heard is that this site did not make the payout to the people that need to be paid. Mining is hard now, and with a lot of miners in the world, I'd rather buy BTC than to mine, even with BTC miner, can't afford it.
2114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the point of these hacks? on: May 18, 2019, 11:05:09 AM
A lot of these hacks you hear about are fake.  Its just an excuse for excchage operators use to run away with customer funds.  Sure real hacks happen sometimes but those are actually rare at an exchange level without an inside employee that is involved.

This is so true. There are a lot of agencies in our country that are scamming people and their escape or route way out is Bitcoin. Last year, when the Bitcoin dumps after the ATH, a lot of scammers run with their client's money and if they asked about what happened, well they will be saying that the price of Bitcoin fell and the blame will be all pointed to Bitcoin.
2115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you buy a coffee using BTC during current times? on: May 18, 2019, 12:51:17 AM
It is not a problem to use Bitcoin buying coffee but the problem is what you've said, fees will eat up that payment. I know there will be a solution to these but I think, for now, some exchanges will do. In our country, you will be able to transact Bitcoin in the same exchange without any fees. It is amazing and it can solve this problem, the problem is whether the store will be using the same app or if they will be accepting Bitcoin in their store.
2116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble or think it's a waste of money and time? on: May 18, 2019, 12:19:24 AM
For me, I still choose to gamble because it is fun and entertaining and aside from that I can get few profits as well while having fun. I don’t consider it as a waste of time but some people may look at it that ways it actually depends.

One should be like this only where they play to entertain themself and just in that process if you won the money consider yourself lucky because maximum time people will lose money and sometimes only you end up winning the money .

This guy should be a rich guy. I mean not all of the time you can win, as you've said and also, remember that you can't always win in gambling the reason you should be rich and should be able to support your habit. Also, this might be just good for people that can support what they want to do since not all of the people who gamble can support their gambling habits.
2117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What importance is kyc In gambling section on: May 17, 2019, 11:43:56 PM
I disagree requiring kyc for the crypto currency gambling site, people choosing crypto gambling because they want to secured their anonymity as a gambler But if government forcing that kyc requirements nothing to do is follow the law inforcing by the government.

I don't think the government is behind this and we all know the site's owner can apply this in their site whenever they want because they own it and I think he is also thinking for the greater good of the site. It is true that there will be no anonymity in that but the thing is that people are taking advantage of that anonymity and sometimes, it is not that good.
2118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best sports betting movies on: May 17, 2019, 11:19:24 PM
This might not be an on-point sports betting but I do love the scene of Margot Robbie and Will Smith in Focus, the one that leads their victim to pick the number they want to. Before that, they made some bets and I think that will count as sports betting right? It is amazing and to be honest, I only know a few movies that include sports betting and I can only remember one.

I remember watching a movie called "The Last Boy Scout" I think that was the first gambling movie I watch it's from 1991 and I much have watched a year or two later, on the cast are Bruce Willis and Damon Wayans. It was a great movie back then but I doubt it will be worth to watch today.

You can try to watch 21. I love that movie and it might not be close to the real thing that is happening but I think it is a great one.
2119  Economy / Economics / Re: Price of goods goes up, salary never goes up!!! on: May 17, 2019, 10:53:36 PM
I think crypto can be an alternative source to help with financial problems that are difficult because of salary standards in formal employment.

If we will be talking about big scales, it depends. You see, not all of the people are actually using their Bitcoins to transact or pay for somerhing instead they just hold it in their wallet and have fun it is increasing. Salary should be the one being used in this position but with that in problem, some other sources should also be taken and be used
2120  Economy / Economics / Re: What can be done to make bitcoin stable? on: May 17, 2019, 03:37:44 PM
How can the decentralized cryptocurrency be controlled?  The demand for it will be always an unknown thing. That is why Bitcoin cannot be ever stable. Its stability is in its growth, however.

There is a way if you ask me but the answer is so close to impossible it will not happen. I think there are two ways in order to make Bitcoin stable, the first one is making the investors connected to each other and talk to how much they will be selling and be holding to balance the price, which as I've said is impossible. Another is making Bitcoin a centralized crypto currency which is another that will not happen.
