2121  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Exchange] Liqui - trade and earn 24 APR on BTC, ETH on: January 01, 2018, 12:26:34 PM
Liqui could pull ahead of others if they offered lower fees and did a little PR on it  Word of mouth advertising would go from there.  Other exchanges seem to be getting lazy and fat with the success of crypto.   Liqui would make more money in the long run because of higher volume.

Can confirm boat wallet offline on coinexchange for about 2 days now. I'd submit a support ticket but it's unlikely to be answered. My last transfer to this wallet was 400+ coins and was never received. I'm assuming they will show up when the wallet is back online?

I have been mining to the first wallet given in the qt wallet and didn't realize it did not have "Reusable receiving address" checked. I've received 3 transactions to it.

I created another wallet (that had many more digits) and checked "Reusable" but wasn't able to mine to it.   Am I doing something wrong? Is it safe to mine to that first wallet?

This isn't good.  I saw another exchange pretty much deny the right of an existence of a coin.  We need more fair players at the level of exchanges.  I saw there was a YouTube video, something like "Create your own cryptocurrency exchange in 10 minutes"!  I'm tired of high fees, wallets getting taking offline during pumps, and just not caring about working properly to ensure a blockchain is stable.  That's what happens when employees become investors! lol

Being a crypto exchange takes a lot of responsibility, security measurements, reliable people involved, legal stuff.
Don't underestimate it.

A trading fee of 0.1% / 0.2% is very acceptable if you ask me.

Witdrawal fees with the most exchanges are relatively high if you do it in BTC BTC.
But that's mainly because the transaction, network fees within the BTC network are really high as well, so it's to cover that matter.

With a lot of other currencies, like BOAT the withdrawal fees are acceptable to my opinion.

In the future there is perhaps space for a second exchange (like Cryptopia), but that is all depending if the community is willing to contribute.
Or if we find a whale investor.  Cool

Months ago I requested a 0.02BTC fee within the BOAT community for a signature design, because somebody else is going to do that for us,
but the result was zilch... (PM if people want to contribute for this!)
If we want to make steps, we need to invest in such relatively small things. If for example 10/20 people within this forum will promote BOAT signature.
It could give a huge boost!

This week I'll add some additional info to the website and when it's finished I'll have it translated.
Russian, Spanish, Portugese, German ,Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese), French, Dutch and hopefully Korean & Japanese.
& other proposed translations of course...

I'm going to put a lot of effort in this and in the graphical interface of the wallet.

Wish you all the best for the year 2018.

Same to you.

I understand not to villianize them and i have stood up for them before.  I think at some point a business has to hire other employees or check their
own intentions about the level of service they can provide verses what they are taking from their customers.

What is wrong with this coin right now?   Two exchanges having problems must mean something is seriously wrong, or both have the same bad luck at the same time.

I have a little bit BOAT coin, then how to take POS this coin.

Sorry for my english language.

Download the wallet, hit the receive button on it, send your coins to that address from the exchange. Then keep the wallet open continually or as much as you can.  You may need to encrypt it also.
2125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin. 2017 will be $ 1 in December. on: January 01, 2018, 01:59:27 AM
Doge will probably be $1 within a year or two because people will realize they need to buy/diversify in many coins at once to get max profits, and to do that takes DOGE because it's almost free to send between exchanges.  Everyone wins.  DOGE is a man (and woman)'s best friend.

Can anybody answer me? The coinage is 17 day and no any stake!

Does anyone know the maximum block size for successful mining?
Are the blocks of more than 1 million coins workers?
I compiled one block larger than 1.1 million and now, it seems, it does not want to get stake. Sad

It works! Just my block received 458733.92 coins!

PoS diff is tougher than ever, word around town is it takes 5 million+ now to get paid stake in 10 days.

I'm still getting some nice stakes now and then around 100,000 coins (which I have two piles of ~100K on two different machines), but adding to my pile now I see the community is holding strong.

Tradesatoshi deposits aren't working right either.  It's been 4 hours since I sent one to them, hasn't shown up.

Not sure why it says I have unmature coins now since 12/20.

It's pumping and Coinexchange has the wallet offline.  Exchanges frequently will do that.  I did have some on there but it's wise to keep a lot of any good staking coin you like online.
2131  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] Bittrex - Next generation exchange (btc/ltc/eac/ppc/rdd/ftc/and more) on: December 31, 2017, 05:17:38 PM
I just noticed that Bittrex isn't updating the percentages of gains.  CMC shows BTC up 10% 24 hour and 2.4% 1 hr.   Bittrex shows 0% and has for the last hour, also BCC not up when it is.

As far as freezing coin wallets when they are pumping, I've seen this literally dozens of times in the last year.

It's not that I'm picking on Bittrex.  If they play more fair, then less facts need to be discussed.   Clearly my screen shots showed them not playing by their own rules, or overpricing costs of withdrawing coins.
2132  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 2018 Tax Strategy For Cryptocurrency Investing For USA Investors on: December 31, 2017, 01:49:14 AM
I just heard some YouTube videos discuss we have to keep a record of every trade.  That sounds a little hard to believe.

Here's something I found:

It's hard to get much from staking so don't sell for too cheap!

You mean it's not getting confirmations?  I found that often happens with blocks bigger than normal.

Wonderful how this and 808 had a recent climb.  I would like to buy more coins but it's best to wait a few days to see if it will retain the level.

2136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DAO][VR] The Movement | Fully Decentralized Organization | VR Headquarter on: December 29, 2017, 10:37:31 PM
All participants of The Movement are invited to join BitcoinVR, decentralized peer-to-peer network for discussion and trade.

Looks interesting.  I'll post more questions I have in that thread, but for the sake of those reading it in this thread, maybe you can clarify.  Are you going to have a peer-to-peer app or use an existing one?  I wasn't sure if we had to join it by paying to get the airdrop, and if you just wanted those interested in the airdrop to send you a message with our Eth address.

This thread explains more about the interface:

So, will this BTC be able to create tokens like WAVES and Ethereum?

Yes, there is a deep silence in this coin Smiley

There are dozens of coins kept alive by teams.  I have a theory that there are much fewer developers than we think.  They start coins and cash in and then go on to the next one.  The code is open source so they expect others to step up and take their place.

I wondering, why there are people so far using the shittrex service? after they are scamming many people with millions of $$$

which site would you recommend? which site after you will be sure and without problem like bittrex or kraken?

HitBTC, Cryptopia, Coinexchange are the major ones  Binance is a little expensive, and I like sites that let you trade in LTC and DOGE.  It's funny, but Yobit gave everyone the forks (and even others no one else did), so they are beginning to even look better.  At least they are not being cut throat in fees like the sluggard exchanges like Bittrex.  Sloth always has the same end.

I will create an account at home to see then, I thank you for the advice.
I am a beginner, I only had a bittrex account and I have never succeed to validate one on kranken.
Thanks Wink

I should have said those are the major ones I use now.  I also have accounts on Binance and Mercatox.  I basically will open an account at any one of 20 top exchanges if there is a coin there I want very bad.  An exchange usually only wants your email address and password to start.
