2161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Celtics vs Bucks 2nd round Series. on: May 02, 2022, 01:25:41 PM

Bucks showed their dominance, especially Giannis. Celtics has no other strategy but to shoot outside because they cannot drive inside. if they will not make the right adjustment in game 2, sorry for them, I smell a sweep here.  Grin

It's normal to think that the Bucks can sweep Celtics because they were unstoppable in game 1.
They surprised the world, Bucks were the underdog and yet they are the one who limited the Celtics in that game.

The result of game 1 where the Celtics swept the Nets was the reason why they are overvalued, now we see their real capacity.
Is it a bad match up?
2162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA _ Phoenix Suns vs Dallas Mavericks - 2nd round on: May 02, 2022, 12:49:59 PM
Dallas is +5.5 in my bookie now.

It's very tempting, and I'm also interested in putting a bet on the ML.
I hope this isn't a trap, I would go against the home team as the Suns have lose one game at home against the Pelicans.
2163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 02, 2022, 12:27:36 PM
I got the same pick, Warriors -2.5 in game 1.

Klay Thompson ruined this bet. He missed 2 FT which is very uncharacteristic of him, he was clutch actually but he really missed, it only proved he is a human. LOL.. better luck next time for me, I still got them in game 2.

I was thinking that this bet would have a high chance of winning after that foul that being committed.

Until now I'm still thinking how int he world he will miss important FT like this. There's still enough time for Memphis to snatch
the game, almost, but it's not for Memphis to win the game today.

Time to move forward and sort the games for tomorrow, Heat -7.5 @ 1.93 seems decent since news spread that Sixers will be
Embiid-less this coming game 1.

Many bettors  including myself were shocked by those missed free throws from Klay due to the spreads being affected.

On tomorrow's game. Is it the first time that James Harden playing without Embiid? I still trust Harden's offense but it also depends on how Doc Rivers planned the game. But I do hope Doc will let Harden do his thing. I might take a pass on betting tomorrow's games.

Yeah I put a few bucks down on the Warriors as well and was losing my mind on easy buckets being missed such as those free throws. Memphis is a pretty solid team so maybe I should have given them a little more credit especially with as well as Ja Morant has been playing.

It was a very competitive game, Warriors could have cover the spread if Klay did not missed the 2 FTs. Ja Morant was trying to have a game winner, but we know how good the Warriors are in terms of defense, they will not let that happen, I think a 3 point shot would be better than the last play of Morant.
2164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin staking a thing? on: May 02, 2022, 11:49:00 AM
If I were you, don't let this Binance use your Bitcoin. You'll be growing your money for just only 8% while Binance makes it double or even more. Without giving the assurance and guaranteed safety while depositing your Bitcoin on them, you're taking a high risk. You'll never how these people would do with your deposit.

Don't get fooled by the 8% offer, I'd rather keep my Bitcoin safe on my wallet rather than be curious about receiving a few bucks while there is a chance that we can lose them all at any time. If we agreed on this term, then you are ready to lose it. Honestly, Binance is losing its credibility now.
2165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty is taking another direction on: May 02, 2022, 08:25:50 AM
What's your view, opinion and suggestions on this?
It moves away from going good and it looks bad as their reputation has been ruined by scam projects which have been sprouting and spreading.
As this situation will continue, the worse it looks in the future if these useless and clone projects won't stop. May we have strong market restriction and rules to follow as this is the only way to help to stop this from growing or else, people won't invest them anymore, and no support it happens to new projects.
2166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are new bitcoin users early or late to the party? on: May 01, 2022, 10:52:03 PM

Beginners will always end up being overtly scared of every single volatile movement, that is going to change the more they see it because they will eventually get used to it. Having daily profit would be impossible for the long term as well, I mean you could profit for a day, a week, or maybe even a month if you are lucky and a veteran but eventually you will lose, nobody should be focusing on making a profit every day.

Investing is different from a day trader that we could expect either losses or profit every day. Investors will look for long-term results, not daily. That is why even to say they are latecomers, doesn't mean they are also late for the party. The value of Bitcoin fluctuates, the volatility of the markets will somehow give us latecomers to take the opportunity of buying at a cheaper price and earn selling at its peak. This is the beauty of the crypto market, everyone has given the chance but yes, the outcomes vary on how we manage our investment.
2167  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders Stop Being Greedy. on: May 01, 2022, 10:22:06 PM
Your decision making will be affected by it and with those positive results for sometimes that you think of.

It could be much more than that and you'll usually bear losses because of that attitude towards the market. That is why it's better to think neutral and always in discipline.
We neither use our emotions to decide and never let our greed deceives us for I am sure this never has good results, we ended up in regrets.
I know we can't rid of this greed in our life but having it controlled, seems fine.

To become a trader we don't just focus on how we earn a profit, we'd also have to learn how to manage our emotions. Wrong decisions come and result from losses because of these things.
2168  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mistake I made till now investing on crypto projects. on: May 01, 2022, 02:50:46 PM
Mistakes are normal, but if we are still a newbiew and not familiar then starting with a small value is better, and when I'm still a newbie I rely on earnings that I get free from giveaway and faucets for trading, cloud mining, hyip and even gambling and so on , if it disappears or loses then I'm not too regret.
We usually put an excuse of losing because we are new to the market. That was right, I know. But we can let this negative insight as a beginner, we indeed can change it depending on how we prepared ourselves before entering the market and before investing. In fact, it was just like we start a business and we need to study it first before we launch. Of course, we can make it perfectly but at least we do something to minimize mistakes and losses, and we don't allow these things to happen to us.

Anticipating the market is very important and we don't have to underestimate the market volatility.
2169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any Bounty who is giving Big Reward. on: May 01, 2022, 01:14:32 PM
You lose nothing if you don't get paid that's why it's not a worse thing to engage in, all you have to do is complete some task, if you are lucky you will get what you deserve and if you aren't you have to move on, nothing but time is lost here it's not the end if the world and its not even close to losing money to scam projects.
Meaning we just rely on luck in participating bounties which I think was not good? Yet, we can't be hopeless, however, we also never expect something huge out of joining them and be aware of the situation that bounties today are far different from bounties 5-6 years ago.

Likely, if we want to have a decent reward and earn money from here, this is really not the best option to take. We can maximize our skills and knowledge by learning how to trade or being a freelancer.
2170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: May 01, 2022, 12:17:44 PM
Based on what I'm seeing in Vargas past and latest fight this guy is a big challenge to Magsayo, this guy is tall and he takes advantage of his height and reach advantages over all of his opponents, he also has power, it's going to be a tall order for Magsayo and this is a fight that will test Magsayo.
Magsayo's chance of winning the fight is if he can KO his opponent, and if Vargas knows how to use his height advantage, the fight will not favor Magsayo as he doesn't have a good boxing skills like other technical boxers who can still win even if they cannot KO their opponent.

I don't want to judge early, but this is one of the fights which I believe the champion will struggle a bit against the challenger.
2171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 01, 2022, 11:59:58 AM
I got the same pick, Warriors -2.5 in game 1.

I feel that the Warriors would win at least one game on the road, and game 1 is going to be that game.
Talent wise, Warriors has the upper hand so I would always trust them in situation like this.

GL everyone! enjoy the 2nd round of the playoffs

I'm riding this pick mate. I like the Warriors very much so I would just blindly betting in game 1, it doesn't matter if they are on the road, I believe they can win as they have been in this kind of situation before. Just like the Memphis, warriors are also playing a small ball, so I'm also thinking of betting on the over as well.
2172  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bullish and Bearish Limit !!! on: April 30, 2022, 11:51:36 PM
The market is really hard to predict...
I've prepared to have a buy option at $38k and it's filled out already, I thought that was the last drop but it goes down deeper. I was thinking of another buy option at $35k, this seems to be my last option, otherwise, I take a break for a while if this decline continues.

Perhaps, the market is going in a zigzag pattern, yet, it is still not sure when it pumps. And trying to look at the chart closer at hourly change, it is obviously in a downtrend.

For now, I didn't check my portfolio, I feel worried if I check it regularly. And stop trading for a while.
2173  Economy / Speculation / Re: No strength in Bitcoin in higher time frames on: April 30, 2022, 10:27:03 PM
Its not a bear market, we've just gone sideways for about a year.  In momentum terms its a flat to neutral slow market but we arent really negative in big terms.

Sum total people shouldnt be so negative in their outcome, despite the pullback its not a grand move or spiral downwards.   Blue line is here is a yearly average, last year we were of course positive and remained above it till December and since then we've been in a decline but in the two years we went sideways after gaining a massive amount and thats the part that matters still now.
I was not able to see and compared the chart in a 1-year time frame.
The patterns seem to look the same and it was not really to say that we are totally on the bearish side but if we see a closer time frame like 1 month, we can see a huge dump, a continuous dump that appears to our mind as bearish season.

But if the current situation never changes, I'm really going to say that this was not just a common market correction, it is likely we turn to bearish again.
2174  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A single trading tool is not enough on: April 30, 2022, 09:44:10 PM
but with just using one tool like the Fib retracement, I think it is not enough.

Surely using just one tool in trading isn't the best either. We need at least two indicators or three for comparison and confirmation of trade. Doing just a single indicator trading is just a gambling exercise. Trading actually requires the use of indicators and chart but not to cluster your trading window. When I use many indicators, I get really confused.

The use of many indicators is not a good idea and indeed it was confusing which only leads to a wrong decision. Having the chart is enough for me, it already gives us some view of the market and enough to predict what possibly happens in the incoming. In fact, we can draw analysis from that, and perhaps, I was seeing positive results compared to the time that I use different indicators.

What is the best thing is that we can perform better trade and profit as these trading tools are not all effective.
2175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ApeCoin on a massive run on: April 29, 2022, 10:46:11 PM
Is it too risky to buy it now?

When do you expect the drop?

unfortunately i missed the opportunity to buy and now its frustrate me every day
It is not a thing we have to frustrate with, many times we just miss it because nobody even tells us this will happen in the first place and most likely if our focus is not on the particular project. You should have to check the market every day if you don't want to miss the opportunity.

To buy now is not a good idea, it was been at its peak and after this, drops are very possible. I suggest waiting for the correction as this certainly comes after the hype.
2176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] George Kambosos vs Devin Haney - Undisputed Lightweight Title - June 5 on: April 29, 2022, 12:38:40 PM
It's looks like the voting is tie, 12 a piece. So definitely, boxing bettors are not to sure in this fight. Maybe there will be fans of Kambosos because of his huge win against Lopez or Haney because he has the ability to play defense and could survived George power early as he can turtle and try to break Kambosos mentally in this fight. So we will see, definitely an exciting match for us.
This is surely an exciting fight because people believe that it's not only a one-sided fight. Both are champions, so it's a fair match although Kambasos is the underdog per betting sites. Beating Lopez is not easy but Kambasos were able to do that, it was a bloody fight but he survive and won the fight.
Maybe majority believe that it's going to be Haney that will win but not going to be a one-sided fight since we all know how big the heart of Kambasos is. He can fight and survive, the good thing here is that we will see Haney being tested by a more aggressive fighter.
2177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 29, 2022, 11:35:06 AM
I like to bring it here since we have to specific thread for this.

What do you think about this latest news of KAI SOTTO?

Kai Sotto declares for 2022 NBA Draft

Does he have a chance to be drafted? if there is, how big and on what team?
Rumors are still not good, claiming Kai is not the favorite and he’s not even on the list of Mock draft for 2022. With regards to this achievement this is already a step closer to his dream to play on NBA, so whatever will be the result I’m sure Kai will not stop for aiming more, this is a good exposure to us and this can boost a lot of Filipino players to dream higher and of course, to be better. The chance is there as long as you’re part of the draft list, but its hard to tell on which team.

In fact, and actually if the NBA will decide to get Kai, it's like getting the Philippines to the NBA, and that is good for the business because Filipinos are a big fan of basketball. I don't wanna lose my hope yet, I'm still optimistic that Kai will make it.

That's true, they might be able to improve their market in the Philippines if they have at least one NBA player coming from the Philippines. It's been a dream of the Filipino to see a homegrown pure Filipino NBA player and Kai is very close to that dream.

The nation is on support of Kai for his dream because it's not only his dream but our dream as well.

I'm not sure if they are back operating in the Philippines again because I read a news in 2018 that NBA are closing its stores in the Philippines.

https://sports.inquirer.net/314388/nba-close-ph-stores-august

Quote
The NBA Store is closing up its shops here in the Philippines this August.

The SM Megamall and Ayala Cebu branches will close on August 12 and August 15, respectively, while the TriNoma branch will shut down on August 30, according to a post on NBA Philippines’ Facebook.

So, if they still don't re open their business, maybe Kai would be able to help them start a fresh business again.
2178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New generational scamming system in form of airdrops on: April 28, 2022, 11:16:30 PM
This is not a new thing in airdrops, they ask you to comply with some tasks in the exchange for rewards (useless).
Well, of course, they will promise something that could encourage you from joining like,
 * high price after launching
 * your stake tokens will grow after a few months
 * unlock tokens
 * back-up with know exchanges

They will spend the effort on their fake airdrops just for the sake it will look promising but in the end, they will only disappoint you. Much worst if you are asked to do KYC on their platform for some $$$.
2179  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is the end of Fiat money at hand? on: April 28, 2022, 10:38:14 PM
From the inception of bitcoin, it was intended to be used as normal currency so every part of the world could use one online trading currency (electronic currency). But due to its price volatility it makes it a bit difficult to actualize that dream.

The increased adoption of digital currencies may not be the reason why fiat money will dissolve and I believe it was impossible. In fact, some countries are merging fiat money with digital currency (stable coins) just to protect their value. I don't find a reason why we should be worried about losing fiat money on our hands, in fact, many people are still prepared to use paper money over digital currencies, especially if you are not a techy person.
2180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Davis vs Romero: May 28 on: April 28, 2022, 11:58:31 AM
Looks like Davis has more advantage in this match and looks like he gonna explode to score another knockout here. Next month? I think this one has some fast negotiation since Romero sides will only take whatever the offer was because the main prize here is to gamble their boxer with Davis, hoping to win this fight with their prepared tactics.
Dvis have a clear advantage, for me and like many fans he affirms that he will win, although it is a fight that does not have as much relevance as the one we have been waiting for, he may have another type of vision, perhaps due to the fact that he does not have a lot of vision or a lot of visibility before the media, the bettors do not give importance to this fight. On the other hand, when analyzing Romero, it can be seen that he is a boxer who does not have much relevance, but if he can make a difference, I believe that with what Romero is going through, he will not leave it so easy.

It's because of the competition simple as that. Tank Davis is expecting to have a good fight or at least a name opponents.  Unfortunately, they have built a story line on a Romero vs Davis last year and they have to finished it as the original fight has been postponed. Nevertheless, the fight might not ring a bell to many boxing fans because Romero is an unknown opponent for Davis.

Despite that, I still want to see this fight as I want to see how Davis would KO Romero who is an unknown fighter who trashtalk the champion. By the looks of it, I think it's going to be a one-sided beat down, but the question is on how Davis would do that.
