2181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you send ether with zero gasprice? on: December 21, 2017, 10:26:44 PM
According to https://ethgasstation.info/predictionTable.php the 99% Confidence Confirm Time is the same for 0 Gwei and 0.1 Gwei gas price. Can you send your transaction with a zero gas price or will you get an error?
It will never be delivered to the receiver's wallet address. The gas price to attract the miner mining your block and then that makes your transaction will get verified ot validated by the network. If you are not putting anything and your transaction will be stuck on the network mate.
2182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So why is bitcoin cash a shitcoin? on: December 21, 2017, 04:06:32 PM
So many times on the web, i have seen people claiming bitcoin cash is a shitcoin.
Yet its a coin of the BTC team itself. Its a followup, with good developments incoming, and it carries the bitcoin name.

Note that while there are other alternatives that sure- are better then bitcoin cash.... They do not have the popularity. And this is important, because this attracts stores to start accepting it.
Furthermore alot of investors switched to bitcoin cash.

So what makes this a shit coin?
Are these people just spitting out garbage purely in hopes people will invest more into BTC again? or....?
So many bitcoin fudders in there that spread bullshit anytime. that garbage coin has driven by a lot of politicians just like roger, jihan and another. As you can see how they are all trying to do a lot of efforts to destroy the bitcoin and replace it with garbage cash coin.
2183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: And heeeere is the correction! on: December 21, 2017, 04:04:12 PM
Phew, lost about 20% of my investments today and i am pretty spread. Luckily im a believer in newer tech and in holding on. In fact, this might make me buy a bit more!

Hope not everyone is sad.
I've sold all of my portfolios at the peak. I was always believing about the correction shall happen soon. And it may happen at this time. How the market goes to the red and a lot of altcoin gets plunged to the bottom. Buy more become the best option to doubled our investment soon.
2184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: best good coins for passive income....walton, omg and .... on: December 20, 2017, 11:50:31 AM
I agree PIVX is great, you can get a masternode I think for 10,000 coins which is quite expensive now, or stake.

I prefer to keep my NEO on an exchange should I wish to day trade it as it fluctuates nicely.

I think Steem is great if you convert it to Steem Power, although it locks it up for a while.

And finally, I am not one to go for Ponzi's after losing money in a few in my early days starting in Crypto, but Bitconnect pays me every week without fail.. so far..
Steem is not good as neo, But some exchange sites are still deciding to distribute the gas emission to the neo holders. and that was the best staking coin right now. Neo should become the first option rather than another.

Bitconnect just a ponzi scheme and I would not consider it as investment place.
2185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Your first altcoin experience on: December 20, 2017, 11:46:24 AM
How did you decide to buy some altcoins istead of BTC? And Why?

There are a lot of crypto and its not that easy to decide which one to choose. Some still believe that BTC is the best way to invest. However its getting too expensive.

I just interested in their business plan. Just like neo. i remember that i have participated in the crowdsale and i had bought around 10k neo. but i was selling all of them and that's my big regret about that.
the expensive of the bitcoin makes the smallholders will be so difficult to play in the bitcoin and alt can become an alternative way for that.
2186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Aeternity - the next Ethereum on: December 20, 2017, 11:41:34 AM
I was actually surprise that there is no existing thread about aeternity so far. I'm following this project for quite some time (since July) and wanted to ask what are your thoughts about it? It all started quite bad and there was a lot of FUD, but at the moment it looks like they now have a really strong team and start to deliver what was promised in the beginning. I also invested  when shit hit the fan and it turned out to be quite a good investment so far, but if they continue their good work, this could be one of the best performing projects in months / years. I'm also quite sure that it will continue it's rise in the future, since all weak hands had been shaken out in the beginning of the project and it is still not listed on one of the big exchanges.

Some facts about Aeternity

- Strong team: Yanislav Malahov (worked together with Vitalik), Sascha Hanse (IOTA) and much more
- Main focus on Scaleability (state channels, decentralized oracles)
- Written in Erlang
- New POW algorithm (Cuckoo Cycle - https://blog.aeternity.com/cuckoo-cycle-memory-bandwidth-bound-pow-mining-9aa5695a4c94)
- Raised 60Mio at their ICO
- Testnet available since 6.12.2017
- Mainnet launch expected in Q2 2018

A lot of information can be found at: https://www.aenews.io/

They were under the radar for quite some time, but it looks like they now start to promote their project since they have a running testnet (i.e. their Aepp Hackathon).
There is a lot of people are doing the same with you mate. How they are saying about A,B, or even C as the next ethereum. The main net is not yet even launched and i can't expect something from there. Rather than call aeternity as the next ethereum and it may better to call that as the competitors to the EOS and Cardano. it will be more suitable.
2187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do you think about QTUM? on: December 17, 2017, 01:56:46 PM
How do you think about QTUM?

QTUM is not less than 30 USD.

But I think they have a nice roadmap and development team.

Roger Ver is also their supporter.

They will be able to reach at 50 USD?

Regards
I'm sure they will able to reach that rate at the next year. Because with the development process and that makes the platform will be evolving in the future, Because you are betting on the development process and never think about short-term investment process.
2188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves vs EOS on: December 17, 2017, 01:52:38 PM
Waves vs EOS

Which one is better for 2018 investment?
EOS looks better in my opinion. Cardano and EOS in the same way. The marketcapitalization of eos higher than waves project. that means the waves lost a lot of interest by the investors rather than eos platform. But this time it looks still pegged with ethereum blockchain as the main chain.
2189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin Wallets on: December 17, 2017, 01:47:11 PM
Hi.

This is my first time posting on this board so I figured I'd introduce myself and ask a question that's probably already been asked and answered somewhere among the millions of threads here.

I recently within the past year downloaded Coinbase and over time bought 7 litecoins. Needless to say I'm glad I did. Of course I want to slam my head against the wall every time I watch the price
of Bitcoin go up to where it is today and wish I had a friggin time machine.  DOC!!!!  lol but anyway , I'm looking for advice on what other coin wallets are good for buying cryptocurrencies other that
the only 3 that coinbase supports.

I am as new to this as I was to the internet in 2003 and that was back when I didn't even know how to copy and paste.   Yeah , I was that computer illiterate.

Thanks in advance.
the multicurrency wallet will be suitable for you, just like exodus, jaxx or coinomi. you can try to save various coin or token in there. But remember to keep your data still safe. You need to do the more effort to search for the best multi-currency wallet.
2190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A sudden surge in Dogecoin? What's going on? on: December 17, 2017, 01:44:16 PM
Not sure but Doge has always had cycles of big jumps up and the falls, and seems is at the bottom now ready to fly, but I'm not telling anyone to buy. Just found this post on twitter also https://twitter.com/sadaonet/status/940786341129998336
Just another pump without any reason or fundamental aspect, you can try to sell your dogecoin right now and then wait again until the price will be plunged again. This will be happening asap.
As you can see on the previous chart of doge has the same track with the previous pump.
2191  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Futures Market and Affect on Volatility on: December 16, 2017, 03:23:19 PM
Some believe that the CME Futures and other acceptance or trading of Bitcoin will make have less volatility on Bitcoin.

As traders, we actually like volatility. Will bitcoin become more stable in the coming months?
The bitcoin futures contract means you are predicting the future of the bitcoin price. But i think that will be higher than the bitcoin price itself. it just gives the more volatility to the market. Remember bitcoin it is not controlled by any party. It won't become stable in the coming months as the futures contract already fully operated.
2192  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reach 25,000$ at this year end ?? on: December 16, 2017, 03:21:03 PM
I am not sure bitcoin will reach $ 25 k in the end of year, recently bitcoin price did not change significantly but I think it possible to reach 25000 $ in January 2018.. for me, bitcoin is difficult to predict, I hope bitcoin will reach $ 50 K in the end of 2018..
This will be happening next year. but bitcoin already touched another new all-time high after the people are realizing about the bitcoin futures contract hype. It's so difficult as you say because of the bitcoin as the major cryptocurrency. And remember that was the brain of the crypto in my opinion.
2193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin cash vs other altcoins on: December 15, 2017, 02:37:13 PM
Hello.

I currently hold 5 coins (bitcoin, eth, bitcoin cash, litecoin and iota). I'm interested in diversifying further into ripple, monero or cardano.

Instead of buying w/ cash, I'm considering exchanging bitcoin cash for one of these new coins. Do you think that's a good idea? Does bitcoin cash have a brighter future than the coins I mention above?

Thanks.
Remember ripple still on the peak and there is a possibility about the price will be dumping as soon as possible and cardano in the same way with ripple. Monero looks good because it's got a little correction. But you must be patient for that. wait until the big crash will be happening.
2194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: December 15, 2017, 02:34:17 PM
I love binance fork policy.

They are giving you forks how shitty it is but they are not listing all.

You can withdraw them wherever you want.

Yes that is good policy. Many exchanges gettin those coins and keepint for themselves.

I know!

They are making tons of profit for keeping it themselves. I had 0.25 btc on cryptopia when btg happened and they said they are not supporting it. They made a 75$ worth profit just from me.
But remember a lot of the exchange sites are not distributed the BTG to the bitcoin holders. Just like poloniex and why the team has made tons of money through the bitcoin gold. Binance has a very good policy to still distribute the hardfork to the holders but try to filter the hardfork coin of bitcoin.
2195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest on: December 15, 2017, 02:31:18 PM
Hello i just made 10k from Ripple and now i want to invest all of them in Reddcoin(RDD).
I got this tip from a friend in Dubai same friend which told me to buy Ripple.
What do you think?
Thank you.

I think that the chart will get another bullish again soon. and how the chart gets big decrease time to the time. It looks your friend was predicting about another comeback at the reddcoin and that will be happening asap. it looks good in my opinion if you are put some of your amount in there
2196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NAGA - Most promising ICO ive seen so far. on: December 14, 2017, 11:44:52 PM
The most promising ICOs are usually sold out in minutes, like today's Gifto ICO. They collected 30$ millions in less than a minute!
The correct amount was 10 million dollar based on the ico drop's data. The ico that sold out just in some minutes will give a lot of return. It's about there is another person that doesn't get a place to participate in there and they will try to buy it through exchange site.
2197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance without kyc on: December 14, 2017, 11:35:13 PM
I've been waiting on KYC confirmation from Binance for close to two weeks now. Anyone else in the same boat?
If you are having with your KYC confirmation and you can try to make a ticket. I was submitting my ticket and they are investigating my problem and my kyc gets approved after some days later.
You may need to make a ticket to submit your problem to the team. It may take a lot of time.
2198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase next additions? on: December 14, 2017, 11:33:28 PM
my speculations are 5 options Ripple, ethereum classic, bitcoin cash, ZEC , and maybe maybe cardano(ADA)
It's just a random choice. As far as i know that the fact the cardano still not even listed on another major exchange site like hitbtc and bitfinex. that will so difficult to see the Cardano will be listed on the gdax.
There is another major coin that not even listed on there.
2199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum on: December 13, 2017, 02:57:59 PM
both is good, the problem is how much money you have to buy both of them? if you have small capital i recomended to join some ico , because some ico can increase arround 3-4 times than basic ico price... so you can get more profit from it.
The price of ethereum and bitcoin was growing so high since the last month. that will need a lot of capital to invest in the bitcoin or ethereum. The ico becomes a good way to be the alternative way to invest our money but it will a bit difficult to choose the best ico that gives huge returns.
2200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to buy ΝΕΟ is not expensive? on: December 13, 2017, 02:56:17 PM
How to buy ΝΕΟ is not expensive?
Buy the etherium, then transfer it to the stock exchange (for example Bitrex). Exchange. And then get on a neo wallet?
There are other ways?
There will be no way to buy the neo at the cheap price. The only good thing to buy the neo when the price goes down a lot and you will get cheap neo. All of your effort to buy neo through various waves will have the same result or that will be different if you are wanna taking the risk to buy in the unfamiliar exchange.
