1541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why Binance Is Enthusiastic About Stablecoins? on: May 06, 2019, 02:20:13 PM
stable coints are very good for mass transactions like USDT but do we still need more stable coins ... Huh
I think that can happen if the need for real transactions in the community between countries happens, maybe ...
but basically the main goal of cryptocurrency is not to make stable coins or just a business opportunity to earn money
Why we need stable coins for mass transactions? Bitcoin can be used for huge transactions and the units will also get reduced greatly.

Stable coins are not safe to buy at any time because they can change their policy and we will lose the value of our holdings.

Bitcoin has volatility and that will not become a good choice to cash our profit and then convert it into the bitcoin even if that was the best coin all the time. the safety of the stable coin can be achieved if each stable coin will have backed by each dollar. that's the main point to make the stable coin will be safe.

Binance only tries to add stable coin because there was a lot of demand for that too. traders are not only thinking about how to get profit but they always thinking about how to secure their profit too.
1542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What coins can my computer mine? AMD A8-6410 on: May 06, 2019, 11:31:31 AM
There are many coin I would have suggest for you to mine, but it sems as if your PC processor is not that strong to handle the process you might want to increase the capacity or you buy minning rig. But for now you can start wirh minng Uplexa token their mining pool and earnings is encouraging. That should get you started for the time being
OP's pc processor is not recommended to be used to mine crypto right now. That only waste a lot of time and that will make OP needs to pay more. He can't even get a buck in a day. This time the recommended CPU to mine crypto at least ryzen. But it's still not too strong enough compared with the GPU. That's better to sell his CPU and try to convert it into the GPU. Even second-hand GPU is much better than it. https://www.miningbenchmark.net/cpus.php
that gives a lot of insight about the profitability of A8
1543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cancellation of project at the eleventh hour on: May 03, 2019, 03:47:49 AM
What it would be like when your long wait for a project listing on exchanges will be ended up by an apparent apology by a project for its failure to continue citing various reasons. On the part of the project team, they try to be honest by promising to return their investment to investors. But what about bounty hunters? And what about time, efforts by investors and bounty hunters? I think it will be a sort of a scam by cancelling a project at the eleventh hour under various pretexts.
Your views guys?
It's a scam. But that's better when this project that closed all of the operations fund all of the money that they have been raised. Some projects that closed their operations are even running away with the money. That's such a scam or project created by 5 old years kid.
1544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto suffer from inflation? on: May 03, 2019, 03:42:13 AM
As you all know. now more and more crypto projects are born. So does crypto have inflation and lose its original value?
It doesn't because when there was a newborn to the world and there must be another old one that died too. CMC is too lazy to update about the real working platforms and delisting a died one. It's still having its original value and that's the point.
1545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pooled staking. Is it any good? on: May 03, 2019, 02:43:44 AM
Do you think that staking pools have any future? Are they any good? Last time, I've heard most of them are scam since they leave at will without returning your hard-earned crypto.

As far as I know, only StakeNet's staking pool seems to be a viable option now. However, I look forward to an Ethereum staking pool named Rocket Pool, that will become highly usable once ETH switches to PoS.

Nonetheless, what do you think about this? Any good legit staking service that you would like to recommend, would be highly appreciated. Wink

for me, the staking pools still good as long the staking pools is not a scam.
the trusted staking pool maybe cobo wallet, in cobo wallet it just not a wallet that accepts many coins in it but it contains a staking pool.
you can visit their website here https://cobo.com/
But ethereum is not listed yet on COBO. I know that's created by co founded of F2pool and that can be trusted. I just try that and it looks like all were going very smooth. COBO is a wallet service that makes you easy to get your reward without doing a complicated setup like when you do that manually.
1546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one do you prefer between fee discount and deposit bonus? on: May 03, 2019, 02:21:24 AM
Which one do you prefer between fee discount and deposit bonus?

Is there any crypto exchange which offers deposit bonus?
that depends on how much bonus or discount that will you get. I agree with someone above me to get it needs a lot of requirements and it looks so difficult.

With deposit bonus, same as casinos, they will offer you good deposit bonus but the requirement is too much. I'll go realistic with fee discount especially if I'm already a regular trader to that exchange.
Just like there was a minimum deposit to get that bonus and that's too risky because there must be another requirement too. discount fees are more preferable.
1547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best CPU Mineable Coins in 2019 and CPU Mining Guides [UPDATED!] on: May 03, 2019, 02:16:15 AM
If I wanted to start mining today and had $200 and a laptop, what cpu miners or usb miners would you recommend ? I want to get started mining and know more about if it will be profitable.
Hi!If the laptop has a good powerful processor-at least 4 cores, try to get these coins.
1-YENTEN
2-BANANO
at the moment are produced very well-only in the configuration file to register the number of cores-load to not more than 80 percent.Still, the laptop is not designed for mining. The main watch processor temperature!
I'm mining Banano and I'm using a browser-based mining through https://powerplant.banano.cc/ they have a folding@home version but my computer keeps getting lagged I have no option but to shift to browser mining, it's more profitable then YENTEN and UPLEXA

It is better to engage in mining Banano through the application. For example, you can select mining GPU only. Using the browser is running CPU or CPU and GPU.

could you tell me which app do you mean ? i can't see anything except browser mining

I use banano.cc. There, after entering your address, a window with the name of your account and also a link to the folding@home client application appears. You can download it and install it on your computer. Look at this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5134772.msg50809255#msg50809255 here are the answers to frequently asked questions. And of course you can join the discord. But you've probably already done it.
How to release the CPU and leave only the GPU to work: the easiest way in the application on the tab with the list of devices to remove the CPU from the list, then only the GPU will work.
Be sure to get a passkey. In the app, enter your account, team number and passkey.
Did try this one a few days ago where i do let my other pc mine using CPU for the entire day and lets me earn for about 7,800 which is currently
$11.25 basing on Mercatox exchange rate.I dont know that you can opt out to switch into GPU and lets see on how much it would generate on my part
currently have RX570.
What kind of CPU that you have used to mine banano? I have some PCs that used i7-8700. Im a bit interesting after see how much you get just in a day from your CPU mining. Can someone give me the direct link to the calculator of banano?
1548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why we have this guy to thank for Mixing and Privacy Coins on: May 02, 2019, 04:37:56 AM
David Chaum seems to have made a massive impact on today's connection between privacy and digital currency. I really want to see the Elixxir project to be successful
Elixx is confirmed supported by XRP which means a big company has been trusting it. David is a good person and you can talk with him directly through use elixxir telegram. I just waiting for the public sale of elixxir and im interesting to become an investor.
1549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any Use Cases For Dogecoin? on: May 02, 2019, 04:36:07 AM
Indeed Dogecoin infinite supply will can't make the price grow up, but Dogecoin can be used to send small amount of money and also to use for faster confirmation and maybe will be used more on future for small payment between people or to buy something.
When more doge comes to the market and it gets less demand and then the price will go down. That's the only use of dogecoin and it has no other usefulness. But not so many people are using it as pump and dump coin rather than use it as their transaction or payment system.
1550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All ICO Project Proponents Must Also Submit KYC on: May 02, 2019, 04:34:33 AM

The KYC requirement in many ICO projects has been the bone of contention of many investors and supporters with many thinking and feeling that this is not needed as this is the industry that proposes decentralization, anonymity and privacy. However, a project can argue that it is the law that requires them to know their customers and they are in fact just following the regulation. The problem is that KYC is not a guarantee that a project can never go down the coffin and run with the investors' money...maybe travelling to the "moon" and have an indefinite vacation in there until the victims can forget their misfortune of trusting them.

Now, if these project owners can require us to undergo the KYC process...should it not be rational that they themselves submit to the same so that we can be sure that we are dealing with real people with real address?

if people can trick bounty KYC thru passing fake ID's then the team behind the bounty can also did that if they really wants to scam people, the only thing that can make bounty great again I think is the intercede by the government to the team behind bounties.
But only a little percentage the bounty participants that used a fake ID and it can be identified easily. you can create such a comparison between how much scam icos that used fake ids. Most of the bounty hunters are getting scammed by them too. You should see that from various perspectives.
1551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading or Recurring earning through dividend??? on: May 02, 2019, 04:33:11 AM
I have one question to my dearest community
Now i am thinking of restart trading . till now i invested in some Recurring earnign Coins or Token like NEO were giving some GAS. KCS was giving some KCS token whhile holding in Kucoin Exchange . SXDT was giving some return in the form of Ether . Dropil was one of the good Arbitrage platform was giving good returns in the form of Dropil Token Even some more . It was safe investment in bearish market . But now i am again thinking to trade what do you think guys .

I think trading is more profitable than recurring earning through dividend. We can earn profits daily if we do trade, not like when we waiting dividend. But trading is risky and i think should careful and preparing a good technical skill
How much dividend that we will get depend on how many coins we can afford to stake it into the network. Trading can bring us more profit because actually there was a lot of possibilities the price of coins can be pumped easily. That means it's much better if we have a little money.
1552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: End of FAKE volume reporting on: May 02, 2019, 01:26:50 AM
Coinmarketcap already does exclude some volume, but they can go a little bit further than that.
It's good that they exlude volume from zero fees exchanges, since people can just increase the volume exponentially.

You can see it when you click on the exchanges tab for each coin.
But when you are seeing another marketcap site and there was a lot of gap between CMC and another marketcap site. i don't talk about coingecko at this moment. there was a marketcap site that only counts the real volume but i forget about the name of that site.
1553  Other / Archival / Re: Choose your favorite mining option on: May 01, 2019, 06:19:41 AM
I prefer POS mining because it's not require hardware equipment and electricity costs.
But there are risks of losing money when investing in some shit coins.
I thought that we can't close our staking wallet or can we do that? I prefer to use MN and POS. Op should remove cloud mining because that was a scam. The risk depends on the coin itself and when you get lose your key and then it will disappear.
1554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: the Veil Project Mining- Privacy without Compromise on: May 01, 2019, 06:17:50 AM
I have been thinking about switching to a different miner. Right now using suprminer.

While mining is it possible that two different miner software can give us two different results? I mean is it possible that one miner will give us slower speed compared to another?

Instead of mining can we stake the coin in their wallet will it help us to make some decent profit or not? What was the percentage they allocated to the people who are holding the coins in the wallets?

Yes, you can definitely stake VEIL and make a decent profit but you will need to start with over 10k VEILs (even more now) in order to get a stake daily. I am still staking around 3k VEIL but now I am getting a reward every 5-7 days

Do you need to open your pc 7/24 or if you open it time to time, it is resuming where it stopped before. 10k veil is huge and i don't like to open my pc 7/24 so that is why i am asking Smiley

In order to get a stake, you must keep your wallet qt open otherwise the coins won't stake. I got two PCs at home that way I can alternate the machines so that it can get some rest and function at best capacity.

Oh really, i thought we can close the wallet and it will automatically adjust the balance which we are maintaining in the wallet. So we should always open the wallets for staking the Veil coins in order to get the staking rewards.
As far as i know POS works similar to the masternode and you must have to make sure you are opening your wallet. I guess POS system means if the hashpower has already distributed to each coin that can be used to taking in the network. Most of the people are using VPS.
1555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I stopped trading. 3 reasons why. on: May 01, 2019, 01:32:44 AM

1) Too much stress.

Yes, I believe you understand me. My mood depended on one or another token value. I couldn't work sleep and eat. I was checking value for 15-20 times per day. I could not live like that any more.

2) Too much time.

Again, when you are checking value for 10-15 times per day it takes a lot of time. I was always tired and exchausted.

3) I started playing blockchain games.

It could be called another addiction but I don’t care. I do like it much more. It interesting and funny. It seems like blockchain games take too much time and money. However, it’s not! Trading and bounty take waaaayyyyyy more!

I'm going to continue your list:

4) Only professional traders make deals with a profit

5) Basically principles of technical analysis don't work in crypto

6) Whales control this market

So, once again, it is very difficult to be a trader on cryptomarket.

Number 6 is the most critical you can't really gain profit if the token you trade have so many whales. I also experienced that much with my WPP token and whales making me to always look at the price so I can't lose my trade.
The whales can become the main player in any market. Remember about when the whales can manipulate the market. but i just take an opportunity to do a swing trade but that's for short term only.
that depends on how you can see an opportunity and manage it to become your profit.
1556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $matic Vs $Nexo logo on: May 01, 2019, 01:29:19 AM
I think everyone following news $Matic token in binance exchange , I noticed the logo of this token similar the $Nexo token , What do you say?

I thought that matic gets inspired by nexo but it doesn't seem a coincidence.

Is there a correlation between both of these platforms? This looks so strange about how they can copy that. It's very similar for me personally to see that.

I guess that will be an interesting thing to know.
1557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Shows Love to Ethereum, Justin Sun Gets Jealous and replies Tron on: May 01, 2019, 01:18:39 AM
Can you provide the link that will be directed me to the elon's tweet? Im so glad to see that if elon is more interested with ether rather than tron. Tron is such garbage caused by it has created a partnership with scam company like tether.

1559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crowdholding - Bounty 2.0 or just the same as the rest? on: April 29, 2019, 12:31:28 PM
I don't see anything new to the mentioned ways mostly with microtasks. There's nothing new to it and its almost identical as bounty.
- You create a review, they pay you with their token or stakes.
- You test the product and they give you reward with tokens and stakes.
To call that as bounty 2.0 just like a marketing trick only but it has no differences with the old one. A lot of platforms have used that functionality and it's not new or unique for me. Even some icos created their own one.
1560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Masternodes/POS the future of mining? on: April 29, 2019, 12:22:09 PM
DPOS is definitely worth looking at. LISK was one of the first to implement it, but they are going to change it due to monopoly issues. Tezos is a better dpos system and great investment
Lisk is the first but it's not so impressive as those people said about how good DPOS based on their argumentations. I would like to see a hybrid system like POS combined with POW rather than DPOS.
