1461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Kin opinions and predictions on: June 12, 2019, 01:58:07 PM
I have sold my KIN in march.
But this time the problem that already faced by KIN to be battle with SEC and that will be a big bet. Caused by this news and more platforms are not interested again to trade kin. Some of them have started delisted it. Forget about the product and that doesn't important when you are facing a legal problem.
1462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Zcash to BTC on: June 12, 2019, 10:11:41 AM
Why is the Zcash to BTC value always relatively stable since its inception, but every other crypto I look up has its gold line (in coinmarketcap.com) wildly swinging all over the place?  Also, the market cap is always way higher than the other two lines.
this coin is still getting dumped by the team  Roll Eyes
I guess before you wanna say anything and let's take a look at this chart https://bitinfocharts.com/zcash/
You will see how the price of zcash was getting dropped anytime. Stop to see that on CMC and try to watch another relevant site.
1463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥[ANN][POST-IEO] ⭐️VOLUME NETWORK - THE NEW DECENTRALIZED TRON FOR EVERYONE⭐️🔥 on: June 11, 2019, 03:30:08 PM
Can you tell me which exchange site that has already traded this coin? What makes volume will be more decentralized compared with TRON?

Ah I see that's already traded on biss and do i need KYC to trade on biss? is there an instruction about how to mine this coin because of im not familiar with harddisk mining mechanism. Thanks mate.
1464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [QKC] QuarkChain -Mining -now TestNet [PoSW Consensus][ETHASH-DSHA256-QKCHASH] on: June 11, 2019, 11:51:23 AM
Mining this coin is a very long-term investment. and for this reason, you should be able to ensure that the growth of this mount will not start soon.
The network looks being monopolized by some miners and it looks like the reward is very small adjusted with the price of QKC right now.

Can someone tell me about a simple calculation about the block reward? As per the old article has already explained about the testnet but i was seeing the different configuration after it comes to the main net.
1465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETC / Ethereum Classic is testing a change of its mining algo on: June 11, 2019, 11:40:14 AM
As far as i remember they faced a %51 attack on their blockchain so just changing algo would save them from future attacks?

I think they should choose a method like dpos which is nearly impossible to face that kind of an attack.
It's much better for you to read the whole article and that is very well explained by the author about the viability of SHA3 to be used in the POW consensus. if you are suggesting you about DPOS and have you seen the latest news about EOS and it's the possibility of centralization? I thought that is worth to read that news.
1466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the end for EOS? on: June 10, 2019, 01:39:11 PM
Guys what the hell this article freaked me out: https://cryptotradernews.com/insights/weiss-crypto-ratings-downgrades-eos/

I mean it's just a rating I get that and the author of the article says that EOS is doing just fine but this whole centralization idea has sparked negative comments around EOS.

Thoughts?
I believe if the future of EOS will be the same as waves, wasting a lot of money for nothing. People still prefer using ethereum rather than EOS. Remember this is crypto when anything must be decentralized because crypto built at the top of the decentralization. Just waiting for the response from those are a part of investors were throwing 4 billions for EOS dev.
1467  Economy / Speculation / Re: Which way will it go? Which trend will it follow? on: June 10, 2019, 01:04:01 PM

It looks like a little rebound is coming right now. i can't even believe there will be another big decrease again. The support is much stronger compared with the selling pressure that happened in the market. Even bad news about regulation comes from g20 but it looks like bitcoin is really strong like the early bullish trend of 2017.
1468  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency, KYC and Terrorism on: June 10, 2019, 12:31:47 PM
I understand that KYC can prevent people from abusing fraud or embezzlement of money, but on the other hand KYC can also be misused by its requesters, so that bounty participants or investors feel afraid to provide KYC documents, which are actually personal
That's why the ico created must do or verify to the regulators about their identity. This to prevent the possibility the ID that already used to verify KYC will be stolen by the scammer and sold it in the dark market.
KYC is good as long as the team already verified and register its company to the regulators.

1470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [EON] EXSCUDO - ICO successfully finished! on: June 09, 2019, 03:22:57 PM
should be not a problem, so many coin with no volume is listed on CMC, but it will not make sense to have it on cmc if EON is without volume exchange!
but investor need to take profit from their investement, atleast exscudo need listing on other exchangers to make more volume
after all, this project has been going on for a long time and many investors who expect profits to be a large business will increase the attractiveness and of course the benefits expected
but this project has been going on for 2 years, and investors expect to get benefit from their investment
maybe they have to wait again
too long investors wait for unclear projects! 2 years Exscudo should be able to provide some benefits to investors, and they don't think about it,
Two projects are scam one is this project and another should be encryptotel.
A year or even more has passed and this shit scam platform still stays at the same level. When a lot of new platforms have created a lot of money in the market and this did nothing for its investors.
None will buy EON node.
1471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BANANO Miner - Earn BANANO while Helping to Cure Cancer [CPU/GPU/ on: June 08, 2019, 11:54:49 PM
I noticed Banano isn't listed on CMC, is that because not enough trading volume or not enough listing on big exchanges?

I'm sure it will come over time - interest in Banano will go up like crazy as soon as it appears on the CMC 'recently added' list.
It's not and i think the main problem banano is not listed on at least 3 exchange site that was supported by CMC. That should be the main reason why banano is not even there.
CMC doesn't need a big exchange but just need at least 3 exchange sites that is integrated with CMC.
1472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Speculation on: June 07, 2019, 02:01:34 PM
selling bitcoin right now?
It's too late to sell it right now because are at the bottom position and that will much better to hold our coin. This time a little rebound just happen and I believe another wave will come in this quarter.

Bitcoin will remain stable at 7k - 8k range. if that can go down below that range and that looks possible for bitcoin to reach another bottom range.

This time bitcoin still holds its position.
1473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: June 07, 2019, 01:29:57 PM
It looks strong right now and ethereum just waiting for the bitcoin to get FOMO then it will be following bitcoin at the same time. Ethereum gets lost a lot in the bitcoin pair and that will be a bit difficult to attract those people back again.
The support is really strong right now.

1474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining ETH is now no profit on: June 06, 2019, 02:28:48 PM
you don't HAVE TO PAY for electricity then you're getting profitable right?

And you have to go to jail after the police already discovered your activity. if you have been stealing electricity to mine crypto like most of the cases that happened in china. Even you don't pay your electricity doesn't mean if you will be always on the profit. I just think when you got a big wave of new miners.
1475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The real Satoshi? on: June 05, 2019, 10:42:14 PM

It could be a reason that Satoshi was a criminal, thus he wanted to protect his identity in order not to give to the invention the name of "the creation of a criminal" and make people think that it is something bad.
This would be a great case that Solotshi was the creator that never passed my mind.
So, we must back in a few months ago when satoshi was active for a while to reply to DM from someone and was there a clue if that was him? How he must hide his identity as a criminal?
You don't have evidence if satoshi was a criminal then.  Roll Eyes
1476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TEM] Temtum - Ultra lightweight, quantum secure decentralised network. on: June 05, 2019, 10:11:14 PM
Just curious about what makes this blockchain will be ultra-lightweight? and What algo that will be used by this platform? what means of the quantum secure decentralized network? is that means this one will be quantum resistance?
How many nodes participated in your tested to achieve 120k TPS? is there a proof for that?
1477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think coins that perform a 100% cashback loyalty works? on: June 05, 2019, 08:38:15 AM
Alright

So recently i found out this company, there are actually a MLM company which sells Health Care Products, Healthy products
They are issue-ing their own coins
Supply: 1000,000,000 (1 Billion Token Maximum)
Price : $0.10

This is what they do
You bought a product worth $150, you will get back $150 worth of their token (0.07% per days until 100%(Mature Date))

In this case, it actually benefit their customer more because it is an extra added value for customer because they don't get any tokens in the past but they do get now
So every token you get back 0.07% daily can be spent on the products

However here's the problem, do you think a 100% cashback loyalty program really works?
IMO, they are paying back too much to the customer
100% in the case price always stuck at $0.10

What if the coins went below $0.10 or above $0.10?
What happen then?

Kindly share your view

Thanks
100% cashback just like a dream and can you expect the product will be running smoothly and it will be having a lot of demand? you must remember they pay you a token and this will be very volatile.
I will not put a high expectation for that. Remember where is the company gets its revenue if that's not coming from the product? It will not work for long term operation.
1478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How much would it cost to build mining rig? on: June 05, 2019, 08:31:58 AM
Hi bitcointalk, I want to build mining rig but I dont have the slightest idea how will i build one and how much would it cost me. Currently I have $ 2000. Would it suffice to build mining rig?

Yes, $2000 is probably about the average investment in mining equipment. With that amount you could build a nice rig of 4 to 6 cards and the associated support hardware. Much of the choice will come down to which coins you want to mine. Ethereum typically favors AMD and Equihash (Zcash) favors Nvidia, but they both can mine the other algorithm in a pinch.

Typical ETH build:

5 x RX580 8 GB - $310 ea or $1,550 total
1 x mobo with support for 5 or 6 GPUs - ~$120
1 x CPU (Intel G4400) - ~$50
1 x RAM 4 GB - ~ $30
1 x 120 GB SSD - ~$50
5 x PCIe USB risers - $50
1 x 1000 watts PSU - $150

This would put you right at your $2,000 budget. You would also need some type of frame to hold everything so you might need another $50 or so in materials.

A Zcash (Equihash) build would be much the same except you would pick some Nvidia cards such as the 1070's or perhaps the 1060's instead. The 1070's run around $500 so you could run 3 x of them and the 1060's go for $200 for the 3 GB version and $350 for the 6 GB version so you could run 5 or even 6x (if your motherboard supports it).

That was a great suggestion, however, as per my understanding, this equipment is not good enough to mine Bitcoin, but it can be a good option for altcoins like Litecoin. Also, I think the RAM should be 8 or 16 GB.
Seriously, is this for real? i suggest you take a look when that post has been made. A lot of things have changed in these years. It's not all about mine bitcoin but altcoin is much better to consider it has less difficulty rather than bitcoin. Dude, that equipment already out of dated and i prefer to get used 1070ti or waiting for NAVI if that specification built on this time.
1479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron founder Justin Sun announced the auction of buffett’s expensive lunch on: June 05, 2019, 12:04:24 AM
Did he meet with Warren buffet? If he did, what exactly is the goal or purpose of the meeting? To market his blockchain or get funding from the billionaire?
He didn't meet warren and have you watched that news? That news says if justin was reported by some medias of he was winning the auction. But justin's not written about when the lunch will be held or im not yet find that news.
1480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitex Exchange on: June 03, 2019, 02:33:43 PM
Hi all!

Someone was asking me to invest to Bitex coin, and I want to hear some feedbacks from you since I cant see their thread running in this forum and they are only operating on telegram and most of them are unprofessional moderating that is why I am doubtful.
Forget it because that was a crap platform. That's a new exchange site with unprofessional team, this day there was only a little percentage of team that can create such a friendly exchange site.
I was actively watching the telegram group and the dev is amateur.
Avoid investing in the bitex.
