1181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some people stop their crypto project? on: August 11, 2020, 05:45:33 AM
In my mind now is because they intend to take investors' money or maybe they give up because they have run out of ideas in developing the project. because there are currently many teams that do not have much experience trying to develop projects
Reality is, only 10% of the projects that were succesfully raising money could go on continue their development while the rest is failing with so many problems they faced. It's always works like that and not only happening in the cryptocurrency market but at those startup projects too. Only really few idea is actually turns out to be great.

1184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Investing in Etherium will now be the right decision? on: August 04, 2020, 03:51:58 PM
I hope you have invested in ethereum after creating this topic, because from then until now ethereum prices have risen, but if you still haven't invested then do it now because prices are now cheaper than before (I'm talking about prices in 24 hours)
in my opinion to buy Ethereum now isn't that too expensive? I myself am still waiting at the price of $ 300 again or more than $ 400, because the strongest resistance is there
It's not and you must try to compare the current price with the ATH that has ever reached by ethereum. It has a lot of room to grow and it's not even too late for everyone to buy ethereum again. We must see the fact if ethereum is still having a lot of chance to touch its ATH again.
1185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ampleforth discussion. A better Bitcoin.. on: August 04, 2020, 03:32:07 PM
Ampleforth is somehow looks like a ponzi coin. They do rebase and adjust the token supply based on the market condition. This is insane because the token amount that holders stored in there wallet are changing every rebase. The telegram channel is full of FUD about the token and the admin can't moderate. It's better to stay away on this coin or possibly trade for short term only. There is a chance that you will loss huge amount of instantly based on the coin price history.

AMPL/BTC graph showing that its good to enter right now that's why I do research about this coin. But sadly it is a ponzi DeFi coin. Stay away
That's what I'm thinking about this coin as some people have already accused the scheme that has already used by ampleforth team right now. You can see the supply was getting changed based on the intention by the team and this is a very bad coin. The hype is only helping this coin.
1186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Escrow is a must to avoid disappointment on: August 02, 2020, 12:44:04 PM
Bounties that have escrow have payment guarantees by bounty managers, but bounties now rarely use escrow services because they have the intention to reduce allocations or won't even distribute tokens.
True, they intend to postpone the delivery or wait for the price to drop many times and they will distribute it. I've met a lot of bounty like this year, these are really evil intentions and abusive bounty hunter. Escrow will be a lot better, but it does not guarantee the project will succeed
it should work the same as when they try to advertise to big platform like google ads, someone must as act as enscrow to ensure that no parties will be dissapointed inside the deal. those reasoning which main purpose is to let the bounty receive less what they should shall be called as an abusive act.
1187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO WhitePaper Matter Most? on: August 01, 2020, 02:21:17 PM
This is absolutely true. Most of the ICO are very futuristic when it comes to their whitepaper. The reality always hits us when it comes to this, it always don't work as we expected. However, its been a great journey to each and everyone, being with them from the start until they reach the limit of cryptoverse is the important thing. They help us earn at the same time we help their company grow to extent that we can. So call it quits. There's a bright and dark side in everything.
ico whitepaper always discuss about technical of the project although most of those are just some ideas that need realization first before possibly finding the flaws. Id say it matters if we really want to get invested into the projet and see whether it could really solve problem they are proposing to find the solution for through their project but there's always something that could go wrong as you say.
1188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What old coins are you still holding? on: August 01, 2020, 02:00:32 PM
The old coin that I still hold until now is ethereum and I now only have 9.7 ETH, all I sell little by little just to survive in the pandemic Cry
besides that I also have coins that can be said to be old, I bought them first when ICO. Cheesy LOL
Paragon
Blocklancer
UmbrellaCoin
by that logic then the coin i hold that is most older is bitcoin lol, i guess everyone actually hold that oldest crypto in existence without even realizing it but so far I've converted almost all of my asset to major alts like ETH and BTC just for security and nothing more.
1189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies are safer with top altcoins on: August 01, 2020, 12:28:12 PM
Newbies need to select coin that is really top or popular coin for they will not fall into tragic scam. I beleive that there are so many project, tokens, coin are now scam that is why we need to be careful on investing if we wanted to invest we need to search or sellect the most reliable and trusted tokens or coin for so many years to avoid scams and to make our funds safe.

I think it doesn't matter whether newbies select top and popular tokens like bitcoin, etherum, tron etc for investment; neither does it mean nothing if newbies go for tokens such as doge, ethclassic amongst other low rated coins; if you are not well briefed about crypto currency; there will be losses. Instead, newbies should learn the art of trading; after which top altcoins or low altcoins won't scare them from investment.
that's true but only half, investing to top alts or not is definitely a big thing you should consider, it's like in stocks trading theres this top stocks mostly FANG and then the rest are quite volatile. their market cap really affect a lot.
1190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget bounties and Airdrops on: July 31, 2020, 09:09:41 AM
Bounties have played some big role in few successful projects in crypto space, it will remain one if the best marketing tools for crypto new projects, it's just that some developers shows no respect for many bounty hunters, using your own skill to make money in crypto is good if you can
theres always some people exploiting the hole in everything whether its law or even as simple as paying bounty hunter, hopefully in the future there'll be countermeasure to that but a project that abandon the people working for them is as good as nothing. imagine already scamming many people the first day their ico done.
1191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When is altcoin season??? on: July 31, 2020, 08:41:36 AM
Looking at the Bitcoin price still there is no confirmation from the predictors and the crypto enthusiast the the altcoin seasons is coming or it has the symbol of growing further. This because since after the bull run in 2017 there are many times the the price of Bitcoin and the Ethereum rebound from this level and maybe it has happened 15 times in the last three years. So, wait for the confirmation when the Bitcoin further crosses $20,000.
It is very difficult for Bitcoin price to reach $20,000 again because the market has not really entered the bull phase yet, and there will still be risks during this period. I think it should be more patient because the altcoin season is definitely not going to happen this year, and you need to be more patient. However, during this time you can consider investing in top coins like ETH, LTC, DASH because these are very popular investment options.
its probably gonna be overhyped season if bitcoin could reach $20 000 like it was in the 2017 where so many people talking about this new thing called cryptocurrency and invest in every corner of ICO but i cant see that happening again though the market is quite stable now and people become more hesitant or patient and not just following hype
1192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH LimiteD, Ponzi scheme project from Vietnam on: July 30, 2020, 02:21:35 PM
A piece of advice here: don't waste your time over any MLM bullcrap with cryptocurrency as an investment. Any fools stupid enough to throw their money over crap like this receive no mercy from me. Good find anyways.
true MLM, MMM, Ponzi are just piece of garbage and just recycled scam, what makes me confused is how people keep repeatedly scammed over and over again although so many publication about how dangerous and shady these kind of pseudo-business is. People should google more.
1193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum : Its not too late on: July 30, 2020, 12:25:12 PM
Ethereum price is starts only risiing and it is not too late for us to invest more to the ethereum because ether value is not only for hundred dollars but also it is for the value of thousands value or maybe ten thousands .

So to the people who are wants to get more profit you should try to invest to the ethereum and your money will grow for sure and also for the ethereum investors better to add more ether in your wallet .
no need to dream about these prices. Ethereum's price will never reach $ 10,000. Maybe only in the dreams of ETH holders. But if you will try to hold till this price you will die while waiting
How can you claim that ETH will never go up to 1000$ ? In 2017 I saw ETH at 100$ and after a few months the price went up to 1400$. Everything can still happen in this market and I believe that in the future crypto will continue to grow strongly and the price will go up many times over the present.
hopefully thatll be the case, imagine the rise of ETH to its new ATH it could bring a whole new life to many of altcoins that are erc20 tokens etc. we should not be pessimistic about it and instead growing the hype so that good thing will come to us.
1194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is going up day by day.. on: July 26, 2020, 12:03:15 PM
It's good to finally noticed that ethereum is bullish, it's been a long time honestly, I'm not impressed yet because I'm one of those who buy when price was higher, I will wait till I make my profits back, I think DeFi projects success is why ethereum is this bullish
if ETH released their upgrade more earlier and not delaying we might have had a more massive bullish than it currently is but I guess there's so many problems need to be sorted out on their side and thus the delay. I do agree though that DeFi contributes to the bullish market that ETH currently has.
1195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What more can a project teams wish for ??? on: July 26, 2020, 10:51:43 AM
That's true but usually top exchanges only list the best among the best, in short, there'll be many projects that are actually good that's not listed in exchange or unable to take advantage of its IEO being hosted by popular exchange. to be listed in a popular exchange is no brainer and any team wants that but the problem for them is how?
1196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could this be the best time to invest? on: July 26, 2020, 10:26:36 AM
in my opinion the best time to get in is when the market got dumped so hard, if you are waiting until the market turns all green then that means you just got that last bit of profit because another people already got in first but i guess that's okay for most of people so there. tbh, it's not a bad time for investing anyway so all the choice depends on you.
1197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Escrow is a must to avoid disappointment on: July 25, 2020, 01:58:44 PM
maybe the method you mentioned will be applied if it is effective in the future.
it's just that now there are still many who don't because they think they can handle it, no problem as long as the project you are participating in pays and is managed by a reliable manager.
there was such thing happening in bounty when the manager holds the reserved fund for bounty or promotion as an escrow but I don't know why the practice stopped since then. It's still a good thing if the manager hold the fund as escrow so that there won't be some parties that feels unfair. need to note though, the person handling escrow should be really trusted, because we are not talking about small money.
1198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Very Important Advice for Devs on: July 25, 2020, 01:07:04 PM
Some projects advisors are the real culprits of dead projects sometimes, ive seen people have advice to bitwings for example, that they shouldn't use p2pb2b exchange to raise fund but they say they knew what's best for them and in the end they never raised half of their soft cap target, now they plan to use binance, something they should have done in the first place
I just heard that for first time. its really baffling if the advisors that supposed to bring to project into a success by giving meaningful advice turns out they are the one that gives such a bad advice. those low tier exchange although cheap not really worth it because they not only make supposedly success project to their demise but stain their reputation forever.
1199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Market Analysis through Tokenmarketcaps on: July 23, 2020, 09:47:59 AM
I found it's yet another coinmarketcap website and there's nothing new, not to mention that most of us don't need the second marketcap so it's better if you trying to implement new things like making survey what feature is most desired by user and then implement it. just my 2 cents though and honestly there's already way too much coin list website.
1200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who said that ICOs are dead? on: July 23, 2020, 09:35:07 AM
This public ICO has raised $42 million in under 4.5 hours. This might imply that the another cryptocoin bull market is beginning, I reckon. The pumps are returning hehehe.

Blockchain project Avalanche raises $42 million in a public token sale

Blockchain project Avalanche, spearheaded by Cornell computer science professor Emin Gün Sirer, raised $42 million in a public token sale last week.

The amount was collected in just under 4.5 hours on July 15, AVA Labs announced on Wednesday. There were 72 million Avalanche (AVAX) tokens available for sale, and investors from 100 countries grabbed all of it. Some of the funds also came from Ethereum’s Genesis address.

This is just one of the exceptions. Because this project is supported by many famous people and there are many investment funds, so it has attracted a lot of attention from everyone. Out of 100 ICOs, I think only 1-2 ICOs can raise capital at the moment
Isn't that the same happening to projects in real life aswell. out of many, usually only very few are legit and that alone could means ICO are not really dead but just some good quality projects are hard to come by mainly because the good projects already exist or people already smart enough to ignore some of the bad quality projects. If that's really the case I think that totally fine.
