1482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Big news for Tron tomorrow on: June 02, 2019, 03:29:53 PM
Buy now before the next pump. If you wanna have a quick profit, the time to buy is now.

Justin tryin hard to pump his coin and he did succeed.
Ah, the latest news about coinplay acquisition by tron and i just heard this from someone else. But this hype just temporary. I don't believe if this will not be so long and have sold some tron to anticipate another bearish trend that will come very soon after a little bull trend.
If there will be the next good news and this will not give a huge impact on the tron.
1483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Old ICO tokens earned in bounty campaigns. on: June 02, 2019, 03:18:47 PM
Hello, I did a big mistake and hold every coin that I earned in bounty campaign. All of them are now worthless.

Do you know about some progress/news or something that could revive these coins?

I am talking about coins that all of you know:
Thrive, Tradove, Savedroid, LHCoin, Araw, Shivom, Skyfchain, Amon, Sp8de, Qurrex, Verasity, DCC, TheKey, VelixID, 4NEW?
I bet that all of these coins were TOP in the days of token sale, the best ratings, but are they still alive with promising future?

I would be thankful for every information about these coins.
They are still alive but not all of them are alive right now. I can say thrive, tradove, qurrex, amon dead. But the rest still alive with the condition the demand was getting less and less every day. You can check it on CMC and join in the telegram group to check if that still active on the development progress or not.
1484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Wifi vs wired internet for the rig on: June 02, 2019, 03:06:36 PM
I have never used wi-fi.
I use wired internet, there is a RJ-45 plug on each board, a simple router costs 10-15 dollars.
There is nothing more reliable than wired connection.
And then you must read what already written by him. His problem to connect the rig at the different room. He has already used wifi adapter but it's more complicated because that needs a lot of room. a wired connection will always become the best choice but how when you have only a small room what will you do? Im feeling very complicated to use wire in this day because of that needs more room to be placed.
1485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ✅ [ANN] Matic Network ⭐TOKENSALE OPEN NOW BINANCE ⭐ LAUNCHPAD PROJECT ✅ on: June 01, 2019, 04:27:08 AM
So is this an addittion to Ethereum blockchain only? There will be no own blockchain? And what different between Matic and Loom Network? As far as I know they are working on Ethereum scale too...  Huh
It has contributed and i guess you should give a red marker to the contributed word. But you must read the whole of thread carefully and that's already mentioned if this project is still in the testnet and that means there will be a main net in the future. It much better to talk with the team directly through its telegram group.
1486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PoW] [PoS] VEIL - Privacy without compromise on: June 01, 2019, 04:23:19 AM
I don't know what was the actual problem for My wallet from the past 2 days it is saying "Unknown. Syncing Headers". In order to solve this what was the procedure, i need to follow for the blocks to be matured again?

I suggest restarting the wallet and see if it can get past that stage. Also, were you able to sync up properly in the past? The blockchain data is currently 11GB+ so will take a while to download. Using a snapshot will greatly speed up the process.

https://veil.tools/docs/snapshots.html

You need to mention the size of the snapshots as well. I tried to download some of them, but cancelled the download after finding out that the average size is around 8 GB. But if you can afford that much data, then these snapshots can prove quite useful. The wallets are currently facing sync issues in some cases and if you use snapshots, then you can resolve this.
He doesn't need to mention the size because the size will have changed anytime as per the increase of the block, he just need to visit that link and they will see the size and he can decide does he need to download it or not.
1487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOES IEO PROTECT BOUNTY HUNTERS ? on: May 31, 2019, 03:06:35 PM
Well sort of but not fully protected imo

Despite a coin is listed, doesn't mean that the Bounty campaign manager won't be dodgy and give shitty excuse and don't paid the participants
But of course if they are serious about their project with the listing of IEO
It reduce the chance of bounty fraud there
Remember IEO helps the majority of icos to reach its hardcap and the dev can smile without doing any bad action to not pay the bounty hunters maybe some icos in the past have been doing it but this time looks a bit different.
I participated in some IEO bounty and after all, i got all of the payments that i deserve to received it.
1488  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the day trading profitable ? on: May 30, 2019, 11:17:44 PM
I am prepared myself for trading. But i need some suggetions from here. There are many way for trading in cryptocurrency. But i need correct one which is profitabe. I am prepared myself for day trading. Is it profitabe?
Yes, it is, i trade a medium altcoin and i can get up to 0.03 btc in my daily trade and i used only a little amount of bitcoin. I just try to take the bounce trade as my chance. As long as you are doing it so well and that will be very profitable.
Buy when it goes to the red zone and then just put a rational sell order. that's what im doing right now.
1489  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Google suspends Huawei's Android support on: May 30, 2019, 11:14:30 PM
That's really bad news for Huawei and mostly because their users have already created the need for Google apps such as Maps or Youtube.
It is a new way of trading war and it will either make Huawei stronger as it will no longer rely on Google apps and probably they will create their own or they will be destroyed and lose many users.
That only forces them to remove google apps from the default installation, but it doesn't prohibit user from installing them manually. Many of chinese vendors are lacking the google certification nowadays. That's not a problem, it is resolved by placing a shortcut on the home screen, which is letting user to install google apps, if these are needed.
But this company has already announced the hongmeng OS  Cheesy
As far as i know, a lot of rumours said if huawei will change their future devices to use hongmeng OS. but the problem when there were a few big companies is even using their own OS can't attract a lot of developers and demand. Remember windows mobile OS, Bada OS and tizen OS.
Another ban from various company makes the position of huawei even worst.
1490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STO vs ICO - security on: May 30, 2019, 03:57:00 PM
Hi,

I've compared a few ICOs and STOs.

In my opinion, they are nothing different when it comes to security.

What do you think?

When we join in STO, its like we having stocks in that company. Its different between STO and ICO because most token we hold beside STO is not a security and most of it are utility token. I think its more safe invest in STO because its regulated
Please, stop it and you have created a misleading post about STO. Did you know what meant of STO and that's "Security token offering and that means the company was offering the security token to be bought by investors and it's not a utility token. You should go to the Investopedia and learn more about what it is.
That's much better for you to know the difference between utility and security.
1491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining grin with raspberry pi 3 possible? on: May 29, 2019, 11:40:14 PM
You'll need a GPU that has at least 6GB of VRAM to mine GRIN according to the mimblewimble GitHub page (click here for link). The RPI is incredibly underpowered for such a task (and mining anything in general), and so it's not worth using the RPI to mine anything at all, though you could always try running a Grin node with it. You wouldn't be making very much at all even mining other coins with the RPI, and even if you had free electricity you'd likely be making pennies a month with it.
GRIN node doesn't have a specific requirement, and that will be different if we want to run MN on Raspberry. For me, raspberry will be very suitable to become my alternative(hardware) wallet.

Staking is the only thing that can be done in this device. Because im using it right now.  Cheesy
1492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO is not for crypto startups on: May 29, 2019, 11:26:13 PM
In my opinion, IEO is not for crypto startups that are seeking funds to kick start their project but for projects that have raised capital already or have rich advisor and team to fund the project. Fund-raising through IEO can be very challenging for startups that need money to kickstart their project, because they will need large amount of money to conduct their tokensale on good exchanges, as this exchanges only list projects that meet their legal requirements and can also afford to pay their listing fees. So the best means to raise money or capital for new projects is to present their proposal to Venture capital firms or Angel investors.
if we don't know about how much exchange site was charging for ICO to listed and become IEO we can't create a lot of assumption about that. But that's indeed and i just consider the listing fees on binance which around 5 million dollars and with IEO binance maybe charge even more than it. But i never saw a real mechanism that already used exchange site about how its listing works.
An ico like bcnex has already done to get the funds from angel but that platform still tries to get more finds through ICO mechanism.
1493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Wifi vs wired internet for the rig on: May 28, 2019, 11:20:02 PM
My current rigs are all using wired connection through wifi adapter. I am planning to move to use usb wifi adapter. The reason is to make rig more compact. Any suggestions from the community. My worry is that wifi connection may not be good due to proximity of GPUs. Any recommendation for the USB wifi adapter would be appreciated. Thank you.

My farm consist of 10x 12GPU rigs. I started off with Wifi usb adaptors but as the farm grew I started having endless problems with it. When the rigs are in idle state the network was fine but as soon it`s start mining I had latency, signal drop and re-connection problems all round. I didn't even use 1mbps combined on the wifi. I guess firing up the GPU`s have some kind of impact on interference (even mounted on the roof for better line of sight)

I do however have one or two test rigs running on dongles but I dont monitor them 24/7 to check if there any disconnects.

I recommend for stability stick with wire.
My rigs are in different parts of apartment and therefore using Wired is not possible. I had to use wifi extender and connect rig to that extender using wired connection. It works usually but still wanted to find out option of removing the extender.
Thanks everyone for help.
But wired internet still the best for me. I used two kinds of internet(WIFI and Wired connection) in my house for my mining rig
I used 100Mbps WIFI for my mining rig that used wifi adapter because i just focus to get the best latency. Whatever how much bandwith is not so important as long as i can get the best latency for my rigs.No doubt wired will always give you best latency but about WIFI and that needs more effort to do that. I just use Xiaomi Mi Wifi USB dongle maybe it's not so good but it's not bad at all.
1494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Do you realize a Crypto project is scam or Fraud? on: May 28, 2019, 10:49:05 PM
At a point the team start given excuses to abide by what they promised to do or stop communicating with the community then I can sense the project is scam. How do you determine a project is gone bad and won't fulfil it promise? What criteria do you use ? or you wait for years thinking all will be well ?
If that was running by an unreputable person, I will only trust a platform that tries to develop a platform that makes sense. You should read the concept and think about the possibility of it. If you feel a little bit difficult to determine it and then i suggest you to try to use icodrop as your reference because that's having a big community that was putting high criteria to put ico into the icodrop list.

1496  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [HELP] I need help and advice on: May 27, 2019, 03:58:46 PM
I really need advice, I am a crypto currency trader and I, feel the self-mistrust that is happening to me now.

so that self-confidence makes me pause in trading, and now I want to ask you for your opinion,
I have a capital of about 1 ethereum and I want a 10% profit every day from the trade that I do.
where is the right exchanger and what coins should I trade. please help and advice.
You should choose the exchange site with a lot of liquidity to make you easy to liquidate your money into the USD or Bitcoin value instantly. this will be a very important thing when you are interested to do that.
Major exchange site will be the best thing but remember to gain 10% profit in a day is not so easy but let's started how to earn at least 3% and that will be a reasonable amount to earn in day trade.
Remember only choose the coin that was trading at the red candle and wait to get a little bump and get your profit. Binance, okex are the best exchange sites to trade.
1497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTOCURRENCY TRADE PRINCIPLE. on: May 25, 2019, 11:23:50 PM
Everyone who conducts crypto trading must already have principles and know about profit or loss. My principle is that I will never sell when I see the results will lose, I better hold when the coins that I have bought are decreasing in price (holding is not afraid of losses) but part of the strategy. And I will sell when I increase, although I will definitely sell a little. Never be afraid to experience a loss, because loss is one of the risks in trading. But you must have a strategy.
It looks like you are doing something wrong with it. if you have been in lost and then you sold them when you got a little increase just like you buy 1000 gets decreased 900 and after a little recovery to the 300 and you sold them and that's the wrong principle in trade and you have missed the pump more than 1000 at the beginning to hold it.
just sell when you are in the profit and you should not care about long term caused by you can get long term coin and never try to speculate short term coin for long term
1498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: TAU(True Asset Unit) launched it's mainnet! Mobile mining is on the board, baby! on: May 25, 2019, 11:08:58 PM
I found out what it was.. TAUT is the second coin, developers felt sorry to close the test network TAU and they did it. Looks like greed. Undecided
*lol this another crap and why the dev needs to create even second coin and they can't even create the one properly? Just curious about why people are still interested to burn their phone by mine this crap coin.
if that was a second coin and does it build in the same blockchain? or it uses a new one as per the app is not even merged into the one app.
1499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀[ANN] TWOGAP - Thriving Crypto Market by Cross-Exchanges and Crypto-Securities on: May 24, 2019, 10:59:07 PM
~

Why are people calling it a scam?
I have numerous friends who have warned me against investing in this project but they do not have any solid proof to me to believe what they are saying. Is there any one who can help me?
Are you so stupid and lazy to read the whole posts that already made above you? You should not only imusify campaign consider you don't even wanna see the old post to get reliable news and scam accusations.
I will repeat it again for you and then read the whole explanations that already created by a good guy to reveal this is another crap coin

1500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CZ/Binance accussed of Pumd&dump. SEC busts ponzi scheme on: May 24, 2019, 10:52:08 PM
It can be true that it was a pump scheme for Binance coin. But nobody really know if it is true or not. But i won't be surprised if it is true. But the dump has still not arrived. We don't really know what is the price when the dumping will start.
lol and don't you count those services that created by binance as a good source to increase the value of binance coin? it doesn't make sense to judge based on the analyst's opinion. Remember there was also a lot of whales are always manipulating the market too. Do you think CZ is the only one? There was a lot of possibilities that pnd scheme has been done by some parties.
Remember a lot of short traders and early speculators in these days.
