1341  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why is everyone expecting continuous growth? on: April 23, 2020, 02:28:10 PM
Those who always expect crypto price to climb up always are those who don't really understand the technology, crypto is volatile and it will always fluctuate, this is normal, there will always be up and down not matter how good the coin is
You definitely are wrong, volatility and fluctuation is by any means not crypto's feature and it's purely because of the market. although it's true that there'll be some up and down for most of the coins but imagine if our market is as big as gold, manipulation will be quite hard therefore the market will become more stable.
1342  Economy / Economics / Re: Stimulus package drop in coinbase on: April 23, 2020, 02:17:09 PM
So I've read that coinbase has been receiving a $1,200 deposits which the US government pays their citizen for quarantine relief, stimulus package.

The CEO of Coinbase Brian Armstrong reported that they were getting a huge number of deposits amounting $1,200 that quadrupled over a week.

Are we going to see a massive pump because of this? Or is it just the big players acting to stage a pump like season to set traps for the upcoming halving?

As for Treasury Secretary Steven Munchin, they have distributed the stimulus check last week in nearly half of their target. 80 million people should have received it.

If this is true that American Citizen has been buying bitcoin from last week, or at least half of them, do you believe that this could start the bull to run?

I dont think so. $ 1200 is too little for the whales to make a difference. But the bulls can run at any time when the crowd is not paying attention to the market. We can see that bitcoin always grows when we don't notice. The whales are preparing for bull run and the proof is that hundreds of millions of stablecoins are printed every day. Especially USDT, every 120 days, it prints another $ 120 million and that's the true signal of bull run.
I don't think these huge number spike of $1200 is too little by any means. the coinbase themselves said that the amount quadruple to what they usually get and coinbase is not some measly exchang, most of the people are depositing through there and if the could total the amount they received, i'm sure it's huge money.
1343  Economy / Economics / Re: China’s second corona wave can it crush it’s economy? on: April 22, 2020, 01:51:02 PM
The second wave of coronavirus should not cause much damage to China, because they already have experience in dealing with it, including hospitals with medical personnel. Now the main thing for them is to control everyone arriving in the country.

We are still uncertain about that though, there's recent news about the virus mutation that could potentially reinfect though they might know to handle it but if they fail to contain it once more it could be yet another disaster not only for china but for entire world. At a time like this I have this slight hope for the vaccine to arrive sooner really.
1344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: dForce attacker returns all $25M stolen funds in FULL on: April 22, 2020, 01:37:17 PM
Why would you return the funds if you got caught it's not like the police will forgive your crimes because you return the stolen funds. The hacker could've use the stolen funds to pay the bail and get out of jail.
maybe they are struggling to withdraw it since their address already got traced resulting in many exchanges will immediately suspend them? Beside that it's still a good thing that the funds get sent back to the rightful address whether they will get punished or not who knows atleast the rightful owner of those money didn't lose it .
1345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: dForce attacker returns all $25M stolen funds in FULL on: April 21, 2020, 04:39:36 PM
And that is a one in a million hacker, I'm glad the fund is fully refund and I hope the hacker is well compensated, at least Dforce should know that DeFi is not as great as they think, hope they work better to security a guarantee
lol it's not caused by the hacker but the singapore police who has been holding the IP of the hacker who helps this DeFi platform to get back their money. I just suggest the users of that dex to withdraw their money caused by it has proven if that Defi is a big crap. Move to the secure exchange site will much better.
1346  Other / Politics & Society / Re: COVID-19 teaches all of us. on: April 21, 2020, 02:24:12 PM
I do know that a lot of people are worried about not having any job they are doing right now, but having enough time to spend with our family is very important.
We don't enjoy that togetherness in the family because it's unplanned and economic needs remain a top priority for now. However this can't be left for too long, survival is more important than being together in this case.
lol yeah it's "spending time" or "quality time" for people who have money but it's struggle for people who don't have money. Imagine having our food running out of stock meanwhile having no earning or income it's a torture really. Also, there are news about divorce rate increasing after quarantine because probably the people meet each other too often they become bored or know eachother's true color.
1347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum going upwards brace yourself, and simply hodl now. on: April 20, 2020, 12:10:07 PM
200$ is Ethereum's strong resistance it may be rejected. Because the momentum price of ETH is weak. The coming Bitcoin halving does have some positive affect to Ethereum price as we see it increase continuously last days. But the the momentum is weak, a surprise dump can happen.
Why do you say that the ETH price momentum is weak? while in history Ethereum prices have exceeded the price of $ 200, and it seems you are a little wrong in understanding the price of Ethereum, so try to look at the price chart that has happened to Ethereum from January 2016 to March 2020.

Maybe he meant that the current state of ETH price is rather fragile (which i dont agree ofc) and can be dumped anytime. The fact that 2.0 is up could very well means that ETH will finally have a chance to drive its price up since it's what the fan of ETH has long awaited although the impact will significantly less due to covid-19 but no one knows for sure.
1348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why stable coins/tokens always go opposite to all altcoins on: April 20, 2020, 11:09:52 AM
Sometimes it goes the same way as those altcoins do, if I'm about to give vague answer, it's just a mere coincidence that you found it that way. However, it's just simply demand and supply doing its action. for all I know if bitcoin is being dumped that means people are selling off or in other words buying these stablecoin or the other way around, that clearly explain your question.
1349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will coronavirus encourage people to use crypto more thoroughly? on: April 19, 2020, 02:39:19 PM
Maybe digitally we could actually get some sort of spike? I mean think about it, a lot of people are staying at home right now which means there must be a lot of people who are buying stuff online nowadays, and with a lot of crypto people staying at home as well that means people must be preferring to get the crypto payments as well.
Unfortunately the real problem is that at this point most of people can't be stressed enough into using crypto while they are already freaking out because of financial unstability. Like many people said above most of people will just use conventional way of dealing with transaction and won't bother using crypto  not to mention that the government are usually rather discourage people from using it.
1350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ERC20 Wallet Address on: April 19, 2020, 02:00:49 PM
You need to learn about wallets first, wallet like coinbase are online wallet meaning they keep your private key safe for you, this means you don't have 100% control of your wallet, for me I don't recommend such
That's why we shouldn't use centralized wallets, preferably decentralized wallets, and we have complete control over our address. Go to myetherwallet and create an address with and store your private key as carefully as possible
to be honest centralized wallet serve its purpose as a mere temporary way to store your erc20 token or just simply to exchange it but people are free to save their token there and to be honest it's still relatively safer if you don't know whether your PC is secured or not. It's all jus depends on the people.
1351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Up or Down, People Hodl on: April 18, 2020, 11:16:10 PM
Doesn't it actually mean the opposite? If there are more deposits than withdrawals, it means more people are putting their BTC on an exchange than those who are withdrawing into their personal wallets. I see it this way, maybe my perspective is wrong.
That's true and remember there was a lot of bitcoin comes from the tokenplus too. it looks like the bitcoin that has already sent to the exchange site is getting sold by the sender.
That means it was having the opposite trend. Your perspective is not wrong. That's the fact.
1352  Economy / Economics / Re: Corona has killed economy of many businesses on: April 18, 2020, 11:46:50 AM
We never thought this corona will be so viral and disastrous and even I have mentioned in my previous posts downplaying the seriousness of Corona but now it has collapsed economy of many businesses except pharmacy business which have seen a spike as most of the stocks are out of stock but the restaurant and other daily operational business like tours and travel agency, malls, other event-based business, and meat shops are closed and going through massive loss.

How long will it last? What's the antidote for Corona?
The results of this virus will have couple of digits after trillion of dollars. At this point nobody know for sure for how long this situation will last but at some point they will have to let business to open their doors.
Well the scientist says that the vaccine will be invented 1 year ahead and that's being too overly optimistic and skipping many procedure which might create another problem in the future if the research didn't go smoothly. Before the pandemic ends, I'm worried that the economy across the world will be severely affected and trigger chaos.
1353  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin is made for times like these why is everyone selling at a time like.. on: April 17, 2020, 12:41:02 PM
Believe it or not people still consider bitcoin and the like as instrument of investment which purpose is only to make profit and not as a currency. It's basically the same as stock, you cash out when you need it not to mention the volatility also increase the urge to sell off for most of people. Overall, people are still afraid that crypto might not worth to hold in time of crisis or they are really in need of money.
1354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacken ai IEO failed on: April 17, 2020, 10:21:39 AM
Not to offend anyone but the main reason why people choose IEO over ICO is the fact that the (reputable) exchange could guarantee that the coin is legit and reserved a slot in the exchange listing. Starting an IEO and being hosted by low tier exchange and unproven ones is like seeking their own failure. I wonder if they were using a more reputable exchange the result will turns out different.
1355  Economy / Economics / Re: China will rule world as economy king after crisis end? on: April 16, 2020, 12:55:41 PM
If we look at the economy now, China is more profitable indeed. Because the conditions of the American and European economies
are getting worse.Especially with regard to the co-19 pandemic issue, China looks more ready to face it. Even China is now actively
selling health equipment related to the corona virus to several countries. China's economy is also more stable than other countries.
So I am not surprised that China will control the world economy after the crisis is over.
Never think the US and any countries that got severly affected will not held china responsible. Yes china is the place where majority of manufacturing happens but they got money from the west and if these countries got affected are about to make china responsible for it, well I can't imagine that but something bad will happen .
1356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from centralized wallets on: April 16, 2020, 11:53:01 AM
If you want to save and secure your crypto then I suggest never hold your crypto on centralized wallet because they have access to your assets. In this way they can do anything with your crypto / assets. Therefore I always recommend my friends for decentralized wallet specially hardware wallet is the best or where you can get your wallet key or seeds phrase those wallet are save.

Good luck

It only depends on the user's needs.
Some traders don't like to save a lot of PK because of their active transactions with various types of coins so they prefer multi-crypto wallets to save assets because it is more efficient. Despite losing access due to a password or e-mail, they still have the chance to recover many times with the help of support.

Decentralized wallet has many advantages in terms of security, yep we know that. It's just that, if the PK leak once, then forever the wallet is not ours.
That's indeed the problem that we are facing, something forcing ourselves to adopt the decentralization kind self harming but centralized wallet also come with biggest disadvantages to the people who are using it though they might be ignorant about it simply because it's not happening immediately. For example when the wallet of an exchange got hacked and the client got no reimbursement and many more. Pick what suit you best I guess.
1357  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Well Organized Scam Projects on: April 15, 2020, 10:32:06 PM
Only deep research. I also keep a close eye on how the projects keep their promises and how realistic they are. But of course, no one can give you a 100% guarantee.
As long as what already promised by the project looks realistic and it may be considered as a project that is still in the gray area caused by it has the possibility to be a good project nor bad project too. The fact that if there's not a thing that will give you 100% guarantee. People have already familiar with this as the main thing to determine the project whether it's a scam project or a trusted project.
1358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Coronavirus never happened on: April 15, 2020, 12:46:27 PM
corona caused a very severe global economic crisis and forced everyone to survive and not leave home, if there was no corona maybe the situation of crypto or other stocks would not experience a bad downturn like this.
If everything is going down and that happens to bitcoin too, it will become the new normal. Economic crisis may await while these currencies are somewhat valuable now it could turn the wave anytime soon. So many country is suffering from the economy right now even worse manufacturing country like in asia seem to be hit by the covid though might not be that severe in statistic but there's no guarantee that the information might be misleading due to minimal testing that happen to its people. If food is rare, currency regardless whether it's digital or paper will be worthless.

1360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will this have any impact or not? on: April 04, 2020, 09:31:50 AM
What's going to happen if CZ and binance start getting rid of some projects on Coinmarketcap? Especially those with bad volume and Liquidity and also dead projects, because many are on coinmarketcap, what do you think this will do for crypto space? Will it have any impact or not?
There will be more money can be saved, so many parties used coinmarketcap as the only site to get the latest information regarding the daily trade volume of crypto. I have seen so many developers and newcomers have been getting trapped too. I just hope this will fix all of the problems and those people can go to the right market.
