1881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RIPPLE on: July 31, 2018, 07:37:59 AM
With ripple at the current price of 67c do you think its worth investing in it or not?

Do you belive it will increase in price in the near future?

If you are ready to bet in pump and dump coin?then what are you waiting for,buy ripple and let it on your portfolio since theres a lot of speculation about this banking cryptocurrency that will have growth sooner yet this wasnt happening until now

But if you are a real investor, then have a good look about the market and choose the coins that has potential on its own capabilities not with pumping and dumping schemes
A very nice piece of advise which is actually true. I dont really treat XRP to be similar into most altcoins in the market since we do know that this coins is backed up by traditional bankers.
This is really susceptible to pump and dump but if you do have the money to risk up then buying up would be on your own choice but you should always think up that not all speculative claims would happen ahead.
They are not backed it but they are only creating such a partnership to transfer the ripple technology (blockchain) to be adopted by them to replace their traditional system to reduce the cost of operational.
They are not using ripple coin and it's totally worthless.
1882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is a bubble? on: July 31, 2018, 07:19:14 AM
Most of them are bubbles, so we need to carefully observe the coins in the market.  Understand their background and technical representatives.

t's not most of them but all of them even bitcoin can be included on the bubble list too. that's why "DYOR" will always become the responsibility of investor before they will try to join in the crypto. The volatility of bitcoin has made it can be called as bubble. It's based on the demand and supply.
1883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin in August? on: July 30, 2018, 10:52:25 AM
maybe the Bitcoin costs between 10,000 and 12,000 USD in August and will increase more over the months ... And in the first 2019 more than 20,000 USDBTC
Are you kidding me, it's a few days before 1 august and the bitcoin chart still remain the same and it doesn't get a lot of movement in these days. The deadline about how the future of bitcoin will be declared after ETF decision by SEC which is getting delayed till september
1884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How Bitcoin Price Effects Alt Coins Price on: July 30, 2018, 10:40:52 AM
Hi All

I am a newbie and have a couple of questions, I am hoping you can provide advice on. I have bought XLM/BTC and XRP/BTC which has dropped over the last couple of days. I have heard the SEC may approve the EFT on the 16 August 2018 which will boost the BTC price. With the BTC Dominance at 47.3% should I sell and accept a loss or not sell and wait till I make my money back? Also in your opinions will the Alt coins vs BTC plummet if the BTC shoots up to $15-20K? If this is the case I take it you stay with BTC and then buy the ALT coins when the XLM/BTC is very low?

Many Thanks

Seabass22
Bitcoin is a driving force in cryptocurrencies market and if you can understand how the Bitcoin market works you can actually invest in altcoins along side.. Any of us fail in trading buy flipping our coins at the wrong time but the reality is that what happens to bitcoin is what affects the altcoins market.
No, it's not driving the whole of crypto. The fact that the whole of cryptos are using the bitcoin/USD pair to determine how much their value. Remember even all of major crypto such as ethereum, ripple and many more still use it to determine how much price for each coin.
1885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MoneyToken Hired Auditors Are Playing god on: July 30, 2018, 09:52:09 AM
It's not a strong evidence until you can try to prove it use the transaction bill that has created when you were sending the payment to others. We know that any social media can be manipulated and then that's the point.
1886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin Climbing Stable while most other Altcoins get RED? on: July 30, 2018, 09:41:37 AM
I think this the matter of trend now. As people are seeing that the price is going to increase with the bull run, So, more and more people are getting involved again to bitcoin. As a result, the price may $12000+. What do you think?
A trand you say? Bitcoin from the beginning was the most popular and trand coin and investment, but this didn't bother it to fall down almost to 5k $ this winter. So, I think the point here is not about the trand, but something else. Unfortunately, I have not too much experience with crypto to give an answer for such event.
The point is about the bitcoin ETF. people are betting on it and there will be massive buy if the bitcoin gets approved by SEC. that looks like a big thing for bitcoin and the whole of crypto and you can imagine how much money will be flying to the crypto if that gets approved  by SEC
1887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth buying low-volume tokens? on: July 30, 2018, 09:40:05 AM
A year ago there was a high probability of finding an interesting coin with a low volume. Now it's easier to turn water into wine than to do it.
At the moment there are a lot of altcoins on the market and they continue to appear, so it's very difficult to choose a coin with a small volume that can bring a big profit. I am sure that some altcoins will not be able to rise in price after the fall.

You cannot be sure of what altcoin will rise up, most of the coins are bought by a pump group. I strongly advise that you do not buy such low volume tokens during the dip because not all tokens do pump after the dump.
I guess only those coins are never going up for long period is worth to buy and basically those pump groups will try to choose the coins which are still traded at the low price. Look at the latest gainers and loses in the CMC and you will see the differences
1888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Dominance Gradually increasing - Green Signal on: July 30, 2018, 09:38:37 AM
Btc mooning is an inevitability, just as the correction was. I think most everyone is prepared to see a constant rise from september. Alts too will rise accordingly.
Constant rise for what? The current rate of bitcoin still more than 50% less from its ATH at the end of the last year and i hope that the bitcoin ETF will be approved SEC and it can bring the bitcoin to the moon again soon. This is only a little recovery from the bitcoin.;
1889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins will die due to Bitcoin bull run(ETF, big institutional investors)? on: July 29, 2018, 02:05:35 PM
Hi, crypto enthusiasts!
I am thinking about recent situation on the crypto market. It seems that Bitcoin found the bottom and big investments are coming, but if you look at altcoins, almost every altcoin is bleeding and money is now moving into Bitcoin. Current Bitcoin dominance 47%!
Don´t you think that this could be end for many altcoins? Big institutional investors will not invest into altcoins...
What is your opinion.
Thank you!

No, it is normal for altcoins to bleed once the bitcoin price starts to rise. Once bitcoin price became stable and increased, the altcoin price will start recovering, investors will buy back on altcoins. Some altcoin might die, especially those who have no working product or no real purpose.

This is quite true and in fact am surprise that people can still get surprised with what can be the latest trends with Bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrency market. This is a roller-coaster type of a market where we should be expecting the unexpected at all times. In other words, this is just a natural occurrence and soon things will start to be balancing off...soon there will be time where the alts can be recovering especially those which are considered to be good projects. We will just have to relax and wait for it!
It has been expecting to be happened after the bitcoin ETF announcement. People are believing in the rumour and they will be selling when the news about ETF decision will have announced by SEC. I think after 21 september and there will be another waves.
1890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS or ETH, which one is preferable?? on: July 28, 2018, 02:29:01 PM
For me, ETH is preferable because it is already a popular coin.  And a lot of people continue to invest in ETH.
ETH is the most worthy coin we'll invest in the future because many tokens use platforms that automatically make ethereum usage steadily improving.
Even there was a bunch of new smartcontract platforms claimed to be the ethereum killer and at the end of story the majority of them have no demand at all. Because they are providing very low liquidity and it's not worth to use another asset to invest in the ico.
1891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple will be great again on: July 26, 2018, 11:36:30 AM
On the macro side, there are a number of positive developments that have helped push the popularity of the cryptocurrency up.  Ripple has been working on a deal with the Bank of America, the latest institution to jump into the cryptocurrency market.

Ripple has a number of bank partnerships, including Santander and Master Card that have elevated the cryptocurrency in the minds of retail investors...

Ripple (XRP.X) price prediction: what to expect?

I believe Ripple will bull again!!!
Most likely Ripple will not be a successful coin.  The price on Ripple has very strongly fallen and almost does not grow.
And it goes even lower because the ripple coin has no actual use and the holders are only holding their coin and they can't do anything with it. Ripple is absolutely security token and this has been stated in so many times. I'm not surprised to see the ripple coin gets less on its demand.
1892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep all your bounty coins or you convert some to ETH and BTC? on: July 26, 2018, 11:33:38 AM
Most times i sell them and exchange for fiat, but recently i have learned a new skill

i sell them, buy back same quantity at cheap cost and then i convert the profit to fiat and enjoy the profit and both the investment for another of pump
Thats the sequence that has to be followed.
I think i like your strategy and would love to buy into it. But my question is, what are you going to do in case that particular coin never drop down below the price you sold at first?
And then the only possibility for you to move into another coin if that will never go back to that price and it will be wasting a lot of time.  There are dozens of altcoin that you can try to choose one that makes you feel interested in it.

that situation has already happened in my life and that's the only choice for you.
1893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC follows the BTC trend on: July 26, 2018, 09:19:20 AM
Like BTC trends , i usually see always LTC follows the BTC trends , Do you agree ?

last year we have seen it , Price of BTC increases similarly LTC price too increased
Two days ago we could watch another picture when the bitcoin price was pumping up, and the price of altcoins, including LTC, was declining. Obviously, this is a very rare phenomenon, when investors purposefully withdraw money from altcoins and put them into bitcoin, but nevertheless, such facts happen and it is necessary to take them into account.
They are only expecting to get more profit by converting their litecoin to the bitcoin as fast as possible to join in the pump, but the price of altcoin remain stable right now. Litecoin follows bitcoin on the development but as far as i can see that the chart of litecoin still opposite to the bitcoin so far.
1894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't buy Bitcoin with alts! on: July 26, 2018, 08:56:33 AM
It seems many people are speculating the rise of BTC and therefore are transfering value from alts to BTC. But if you want BTC, buy it with FIAT! Fresh new funds are needed on the market! You are dumping alts making prices dump hard and maybe are speculating you will be able to buy more of the alts later on, but what idiot will selll it to you at that dumped price?? So if you want BTC, buy it with FIAT or at least don't expect to buy back more of the alts for cheap!
When the price of altcoin growth instantly and then those are selling their alts for bitcoin will get a big lost because it will take a lot of time to liquidate their bitcoin to the altcoin again. you can see that how the majority of people are still speculating about that right now instead of spend new money to buy bitcoin when the price was so cheap.
1895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it suitable to buy Bitcoin in 2018 with a long haul perspective of 2-4 year? on: July 26, 2018, 08:51:42 AM
With such a fluctuation in the crypto market, will it be preferable to purchase bitcoin in 2018 with a long-term view of 2-4 years?
It will, i was buying a lot of bitcoin and i bought more and more bitcoin as much as i can and i hold them fall for the long-term investment in fact the bitcoin has liited supply and it can become a very good point to argue about the price of bitcoin will worth a lot in the future and more countries are considering bitcoin as an invesment opportunity after gold.
1896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what causes the price of crypto down on: July 26, 2018, 08:43:07 AM
Multiple factors -- news, expected news, technical analysis and so on.

Or just figure it's all market manipulation, and forget about trying to figure anything out, and
just go with the flow.
From all of these factors and there is one that give a very big domination to the crypto market. This is not the first time to see the market doesn't give a lot of reaction about the good news of cryptocurrency.
are you sure about TA gives a contribution to the downtrend of the market?
1897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not panic on: July 25, 2018, 10:32:41 PM
Surely not as I hold AML Bitcoin (ABTC) the token of the future. I can warranty it.  AML Bitcoins are in compliant with worldwide regulations that is a great benefit for ABTC holders. These regulations inlcudes: U.S Patriot Act, Bank Secrecy Act,Anti-Money Laundering, U.S Office of Foreign Assets, Control Compliant, Know Your Customer, and more. Click on this link for more information: https://amlbitcoin.com
Don't try to fool others with your shitcoin. there is no one can be a compliant token and only bitcoin and ethereum does it. can you prove it and that was officially accepted by the regulators and i guess that will be appearing on the SEC's site.
1898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what can you tell me about the dangers of investing in an American ICO? on: July 25, 2018, 11:39:49 AM
I've heard that eMusic is moving towards an ICO.

Well, there is no doubt the music industry is one of the most centralized, there are no good alternatives to Spotify and Pandora,
we need to take the power back from the big labels, by listening to music through decentralized platforms.

From what I understand, emusic allows independent music artists and small labels to negotiate directly,

indeed looks like a refreshing project, though isn’t it a huge risk investing in projects coming from the US before the SEC will regulate ICOs?

In fact there is a lot of chance the ico violatnig the SEC rules and the dev could be arrested just like what has already happened with centra and any other US ico. I will suggest you never try to participate in the US ico. Tbar has been giving the best example how the majority of US icos can't comply with US rules,
1899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are Americans blocked from participating ICO Telegram groups? on: July 25, 2018, 11:37:56 AM
My friend also told me this thing today. I think this is something related to SEC. There are many ICOs which have already blocked users from certain countries. And I don’t think it’s weird.
Because the majority of the icos can't even fill all of the SEC compliant to be the investment place. I think that you can see that about how the majority of people are thinking about that right now. US citizens are getting banned to participate in any ico because that will give them all the more risk.
1900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I buy BItcoin or Litecoin on: July 25, 2018, 10:42:40 AM
I choose Btc because it is more reliable cryptocurrency than ltc is. Ltc won't be competetive altcoin which will be able to compete on the market and beat others.
litecoin is only following bitcoin and no more. Any development of litecoin will be related to the development of BIP and this has already proven in so many times if litecoin is pegged with the bitcoin. as you can see that how the litecoin price will be declining if there will be no any update about that
