1561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The best investment prediction for 2019? on: April 27, 2019, 11:46:47 PM
Hello Bitcointalkers,

Which coin will become the best investment asset in 2019?

Will there be another coin that is going to become as popular as BTC, XRP, and DASH?

Please share your opinions!  Cheesy

in my opinion there is no other coin that is better than Ethereum ... because ethereum has a very strong endurance ... has a lot of interested people and has a platform that is very interested in cryptocurency users in every ICO project .. so for me ethereum is a coin best for short and long term investments ...
Ethereum has become a classic of cryptocurrency like Bitcoin. I hope, some new, really great altcoin will be created this year and it can change the life of many people. I like TRON as well (from the existing alts).
It's not about to create a new altcoin but it's about how the developers can create more and more good products that can be used massively by an ordinary person to attract them all to buy cryptocurrency. that has become the main problem in the cryptocurrency.
1562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EOS at $36 by the end of July on: April 27, 2019, 11:25:46 PM
I really hope you are not following his prediction now Last we hear from this guy is really way back and i think he was just in the crypto space same way as Mcafee Trust me he has bad reputation for a reason Stick with that and listen to him lightly
So many shillers in these days that created non sense prediction. EOS looks better to stay in this rate dude. If that worth double digit and that's totally overvalued consider EOS has no advantages. That prediction doesn't have FA or TA.
1563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are stable coins? on: April 27, 2019, 10:59:09 PM
What are stable coins and why do we need them?
This is one topic that catch my attentions. I have this article about stable coins and they are attracting big league investors. Will quote some part of the article.
"stable coins are designed to keep their price fixed, making them immune to manipulation trading. It could be argued that price stability will help to bring about the mass adoption of cryptocurrencies, as they are seeming more reliable and, therefore, attractive to major financial players. The recent IBM deal — along with other investments mentioned in this article — partly confirm that assumption."

Three types of stable coins can be outlined, depending on the type of collateralization they entail.

1. Fiat-collateralized
2. Non-collateralized
3. Crypto-collateralized

To know more and read the detailed article. Pls chck this link.

Some currencies offer ideas in their projects such as stability through products
For example, a wpp energy project gives a time schedule to stabilize its wpp token by linking the currency to the value of the product it will produce (HYDROGEN GAS (H2)
if they do, it will be a wonderful step and I will trust.

The product will not create a stable value and it needs something that has stable value to create stable value for WPP token. SO many platforms have tried to do that and they are getting fail for that. I know havven and that's a similar platform that has the same idea like WPP but its fail.
1564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Get $40 stellar very easily on: April 27, 2019, 10:48:51 PM
It is 25$ worth not 40$ worth.

But in return, they are asking for personal information and a kyc. 25$ worth your kyc is something debatable.
Indeed, but here you have to remember that these 25$ are really worth 25$ because of how big market cap and daily volume is on XLM.
Is it worth to exchange your identity with $25? it's not n wallet. worth anymore at all. The fact that a lot of people have claimed it and throw thousands of IDs to the blockchain wallet. whatever big the mcap of stellar and it's not worth.
1565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will EOS fly to the moon like BNB soon?! on: April 25, 2019, 11:54:25 PM
EOS is a great coin, but I don't think it will grow like BNB will, Binance are the best exchange, most people have an account there, most people still only buy EOS for a short trade where they keep there EOS on an exchange.
Great for what? EOS was the worst DPOS coin in history. that's overvalued coin in my opinion. Binance is much better. They are using tron as a short term and they never used tron as long term holders. that looks different with the binance holders.
1566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New Coins with huge ICO price on: April 25, 2019, 11:31:06 PM
What is your take on new tokens with unnecessarily large ICO prices? Scam or Genuine?

With such prices, their ICO usually takes a lot of time and people still invest, is there a possibility of it being a good project because I just stumbled on one now with with current ICO price of $2.74 and they intend on increasing it in the future

You can not say if the project is real or if it is a scam, looking only at a price.
Developers tend to think that a lower price and a larger total supply is easier to sell and later, after completing the ICO, to raise the price on the market in an easier way.But the price really does not matter much and it all depends on the project itself and its developers.

Most probably you had a point price is important but we need to consedired the support of the dev and team behind for contnuing the project success. To encourage people to invest in the project.
People will not blatantly invest in the scam project and that's the fact about the crypto right now. The price can't be determined as a very strong indicator to determine if the team is legit or not.
The team is really important because the trusted team can bring FOMO.
1567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do lot of people hate bounty dumpers? on: April 25, 2019, 11:28:25 PM
I honestly have a problem with this issue why most people consider that bounty hunters are the most dumpers. As said already, mostly 1-5% of tokens are allocated for bounty and why are we the bounty hunters always blamed for dumping. Don't we the bounty hunters worth what we do and wish to hold to get a good value? Those who hate bounty dumpers really don't read more and haven't come to the idea that only few percentage is always allocated to bounties.
there will always be a bad person, remember not all of the bounty hunters are good person dude. the fact that we have seen some of them are dumping their bounty tokens instantly. Without thinking a strategy to never try to create such a panic sell that will be affecting the market. But we can't blame them for this.
1568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I fell for FOMO on: April 25, 2019, 11:23:46 PM
I fell as well to fomo and rushed the then xmrg moneto gold token on coinexchange.io only to be left red faced
As they ended up as a scam exit and went away with my investments
But I have learnt which is all that matters; learn the lesson, move on and be better than before
You should not rush to buy shitcoin dude. Why you buy monero gold when you are able to buy a real one like monero? Anycoin that called themselves as the fork from the major coin is a scam and mark my words. i hope you can learn from there. Fork coin is a scam.
1569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Analysis on: April 24, 2019, 11:50:44 PM
Very nice comparison. Thanks for sharing, it can spare a lot of time for someone looking to buy a new/older generation Nvidia card and try mining. I see you've included also one of the GPUs I'm considering to buy (1660 Ti). RVN is definitely a standard nowadays to make benchmarks in the alt arena.

Thanks,
I've been told that the 1660 is as good as the 166TI for mining, but I don't have any RVN hash rates for it yet. I own a 1660TI and it's just like a 1070 with a lot less power consumption. I'm also waiting to see what the 1650 can produce too.
The performance of 1060TI is a little bit lower than 1070TI and it will have a similar result on how much hash rate that can be produced by 1060TI. it must be the same as 1070TI. there was no a lot of differences between 1060TI and 1070TI.
1570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The price of coins starts in green on: April 24, 2019, 11:29:15 PM
Those that bought at this rate are now smile everyday. I knew very well then that the market will appreciate but many pessimist doubted it. But now it is no longer a news rather a reality. Cryptos have come to stay.
that's why it takes patience and trust in crypto investment because getting profits isn't as easy as many people imagine. Unless we come at the right time.
so take a lesson from this situation so that we can be better at investing.
Many coins come close to at least a year at their price. In my portfolio, almost all Altcoins have fallen in price by 30% over the last month. I do not even know what will happen next.
Just hold it and try to use some of your coins to trade in the market. this will become the best way rather than keep them all only in your cold storage. I have been getting a huge loss too and i just try to do that strategy to cover my lost and i did it.
1571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do to recover your losses? on: April 24, 2019, 11:26:18 PM
What if after selling the coin, the price starts pumping hard.
So to be on a dmsafer side, I would sell part of my holdings of the coin and add fiat from my pocket to buy the hyped coin.
Sell some amounts from all of our portfolios will become the best choice. But usually, the pump will have started after we have already sold our coin. that looks so strange but a lot of people have been getting that situation and that's why to create an alternative way is needed.
1572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too much crypto payment projects but little people accepting crypto payments on: April 24, 2019, 11:20:14 PM
I believe one of the major setbacks of the present crypto space is a lot of new projects are focused on providing the fastest easiest crypto coin to be used for payment purposes and transactions however considerably lower effort is placed on the vendors who are actually going to be accepting payment in form of cryptocurrencies because what is the use of having a crypto payment card full of money that you cannot spend.

Whitmore payment gateways a inform of PayPal and the likes accepting crypto payments from multiple coins without necessarily issuing their own coin then there will be better adoption of cryptocurrencies by both business owners and customers.

But you can get another way to liquidate your coin or convert it into the crypto which already accepted by a lot of merchants such as bitcoin. Basically, crypto payment will work like converting your money into the fiat directly.

1574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO. Buy or not? on: April 22, 2019, 01:43:40 AM
Don't buy. NEO was good when china was involved in crypto. They banned everything and also they killed NEO. If they acted differently, NEO could be huge.
i thought China still was supporting NEO?
anyway it is too centralized and just is not as good as Ethereum
the price might get pumped hard by manipulators anytime but it is not what you want to have as a long term hold
China is not supporting neo and any other blockchain. they are only taking the advantage from it and put really strict rules and restriction to the blockchain companies and you can see how neo doesn't even get any hype till this time and that means a lot of people are not trusting it again.
1575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New opportunities? on: April 22, 2019, 12:38:14 AM
While others are looking to ICOs, majority of the people now are into IEOs.

If you identify that the project is no longer good, don't put effort and money in it.
But a lot of people are still betting on ICO remember there was a chance to buy more when it's not yet listed on exchange site. My friend has bought a lot of celer before it gets listed on the binance. As far as i know, some people try to take it as their opportunity to buy more.
1576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Just a warning that Sapien Network ICO is a scam. on: April 22, 2019, 12:23:30 AM
They have app, which works but the purpose of the app is not clear and not sure whether it will be successful. They constantly do promotion on vyper, without paying so far. Telegram group does not have any good discussions. This what i saw.
They have created an app but that looks useless and so many people are aware if that was only a garbage app. I said this based on the fact about how terrible they are dude. Sapian is untrusted platform and so many people know about that.
1577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance(BNB) best alt coin ! on: April 21, 2019, 11:32:28 PM
Im alsp fan of Binance or BNB and I believe too that coin will reach $100 maybe this year or next coming few years.
I invested also to the ICO of Binance before and Im happy to earn more profit and my money grow and I think more new investors are investing to Binance because maybe it is the next ethereum and I believe in the next few months it will become more potential than the others.

If BNB maintains the current pace then I agree 3 digit price can be obtainable by the year-end. But before the mainnet launch, I am quite sure that the price will go above .005
Buy the news and sell the facts. A clear example of how markets are rigged and this is not only applied to financial markets. After the mainnet launch BNB price will dump by the same investors who bought early.
They have bought BNB caused by that rumour and when the rumour already appeared and then they will start to sell their BNB instantly. This was happening with the crypto market since the beginning of the crypto market itself dude.
1578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your best Privacy-Oriented coin? on: April 21, 2019, 11:31:25 PM
Hello peoples..
I am posting this thread to talk about privacy in general.
I am a fan of privacy coins just like PiVx and monero etc..
I just want the peoples to vote for their best coins
From this list, what's the projects that you are supporting?
-Deeponion
-Pivx
-Monero
-Veil
-beam
-Monero Classic
-ZCASH
-ZCoin
-ZenCash
-Particl
- GRIN
- ZCLASSIC
- Zero
- Quantis
- Elixxir

I didn't mention Privcy because they banned me, they are shady.. They are not honest.

I am personally supporting all of the coins listed above but I don't like neither Grin neither Monero Classic and my best pick is DO.
What about you folks?
I vote for veil, it looks an undervalued coin consider about its features and usefulness to the users. It has created founder of PIVX and im sure veil will become the best privacy coin in the future. Im putting veil as my best privacy coin.
1579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Red Trusted Managers Don't Accept Red Trusted Participants on: April 21, 2019, 11:02:15 PM
Isn't it unfair?

Most of the bounty managers has red trust but they never accept red trusted participants mostly on their signature campaign. If ico making this decision so why are they hiring a red trusted manager?
We know that even those scam managers are only accepting new participants with neutral trust caused by the fact that they don't wanna destroy their own credibility. It looks unfair because basically, they are holding everything. But move to another campaign if you are thinking if that's not unfair for you.
1580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you determine potentiality of any Altcoins? on: April 21, 2019, 01:55:07 PM
Community — without community coin/token has nothing backing up and thus it can't increase in value.
It caused by the community can give various advantages to the platforms and it's not only the one. But it was giving a huge impact to the advertisement, liquidity and many more. The community will only try to trust the trusted project.
