1681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STOP With The ICO Garbage on: February 05, 2019, 04:03:26 PM
Well, there were a lot of ICO fraud cases the year before (2017), but back then the market was on a roll and almost anything was profitable. Now, the bill came for that ICO Garbage, some of the lack of trust in crypto is due to them.
Anything will be moving forward and especially with the ico itself. More people will become even smart than before to decide which is best ico. In fact that so many people can't do a proper analyzation to decide which is the best.
1682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Let's talk about this Bittorrent situation $BTT on: February 04, 2019, 09:23:11 AM
The bittorent https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/bittorrent pump is now ongoing but how long before it dips, those who are even able to buy for ICO is already more than 5x their money

Yeah, Binance list is and now my guess is that other big exchnages will list BTT and hype will be even bigger.

I expect BTT price to go up to 0.00000050+ and then slowly get back to 0.00000015 - 0.00000020. But if people adopt the system to pay in BTT for priority traffic, it could goes as high as 0.000003+ and then it will be a real gold mine for everybody buying right now.

BTT launched its ico from the beginning and it's not a big surprise to see that being listed on binance instantly. BTT has a fully worked product. I just a little dump will come and i have been putting my buy orders for this one.
1683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IS BTT a good investment for us ??? on: February 04, 2019, 09:21:00 AM
BTT recently launched on the tron network. It has  a decentralized product and also it is based on seeders and nodes.
It has a working project on its side. So how much profit can you expect from it for mid term.
Stop talking about that in here, look at all of these answers above me and they didn't even understand about that. these guys are giving a lot of garbage feedbacks without known about BTT. It has a working product and this link is enough to explain is it worth to invest in? https://icodrops.com/bittorrent/ 6x return in this big bearish trend and what a surprise.
1684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Republia ICO your thoughts? on: February 04, 2019, 09:13:27 AM
Hello, recently I found out that Republia reached its hard cap, they raised 50 million dollars mainly thanks to Paxnet. There are not so many ICOs that reach even softcap in their presale. What is your thought that they are so successful? Wink

I am sorry to say this, I have seen several projects lied about the amount of figure they raise through their sales just to deceive retail investors and get them Fomo into the project, is their any proof out there to show they indeed raise $50 million. Again another points I want to raise is that raising huge money do not equate to a successful project, wait and see what the team do have to show for the money received
Did you watched it properly? A company has covered all of the funds to run the development. You can check if that was a real company and it has real income and statistik. Not only this but its security shares already traded in the stock exchange site which mean if that was a real company
1685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why ICOs fail on: February 03, 2019, 11:18:20 PM
In fact, more than 50 percent of ICO are fraudulent and so they fail. Few of their good ICO also fail because of the bear market. I think that it is not necessary to invest in ICO now, it is better to wait for the appearance of tokens or coins of interesting and promising projects on the exchange.
The bear market makes these reliable ico out of funds to operate the development process. But usually most of these platform can't build a proper product and that means they can stand with its own leg to make the company alive. This is the worst fail in the crypto.
1686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2019 first quarter market prediction on: February 03, 2019, 11:16:07 PM
I hope that in the first quarter the market will finally fall to the bottom, but I think that this is unlikely to happen. Now prices will jump as well as last month, only adjusted for a slightly lower level.

The price of bitcoin is so stable and the whole of altcoins is following it. This can be considered as bottom and then the stability of market is much better to build the momentum to pump it dude.
The price will not jump a lot in this quarter.
1687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT Tether safe? on: February 01, 2019, 03:24:15 PM
I am not a big fan of centralized stable coins like USDT. It is backed by $ but the real problem is how to control it, and audit it all the time. Some doubt will always be present. I have more faith in decentralized solutions like DAI has.

I personally don't understand why people decided not to give Tether the credit which it is due, there is no Sable coin in the space now that is well capitalized as Tether. I am not saying they have all their tokens backed by USD but they have huge Fiat reserve to backed up their claims. DAI have a good designed but will not scale to a Billion Dollar project IMO because of so many limitations
If i remember right there are rumors about manipulating USDT by bitfinex management who behind this stable coin idea. TrueUsd should have backup and it will be more safe to prefer TrueUsd than USDT.

But then USDT was retested, and it is now guaranteed to have that amount. However, now that many stablecoins exist, I think its position is shaken when there are many competitors and they prove that their currencies are much safer than USDT.
But this one is still lack of transparency and how they can print more USDT in every period? That doesn't make sense and i never heard this company has an active source to get income. This is possible to be called as a manipulation.
1688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEM is struggling on: February 01, 2019, 03:22:51 PM
We've heard about exchanges and crypto projects cutting staff, and to some extent, we all assumed the sh*t projects would be going down under these testing conditions.  But NEM, a somewhat underrated project, has announced it's running out of funding.

https://cryptomenow.com/major-cryptocurrency-project-nem-only-has-a-month-of-runway-left/
This is a difficult truth for NEM. A huge investment of ETH 190,000 with the current price is very low, and it is not able to maintain a large machine that can overcome a long winter like an ice age. NEM was right when it cut 25% of its staff, which would reduce the cost of maintaining the company.
That's the company's fault. Look at binance and anyother ico that can generate profit from the platforms. NEM was creating a big mistake because they are not putting the main concern to the question how they can create such a useful application or platforms that can actively generate revenue to cover the operational of the platform.
1689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seaching hard drives for non-Bitcoin wallets? on: January 27, 2019, 11:06:00 PM
I'm familiar with Bitcoin Core wallets, and their wallet.dat files.  I've looked at old computers and searched them for wallets.

But what about non-BTC wallets?  What is their version of the wallet.dat file and what to search for to find them?  How about other types of BTC wallets?

Does Litecoin Core have the same wallet.dat?
Any different wallet used the different extension too. But i never heard if bitcoin core was having a feature to be used to store our altcoins, is this kind of a plugin only?
If that was created or build in the same wallet and it must have the same extension too.
1690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes one currency able to handle more TPS than another? on: January 27, 2019, 11:01:31 PM
I'm always confused as to what factors actually contribute to a CryptoCurrencies capacity?

If you guys could provide a run down on what do the following blockchains do under the hood to have this TPS and what it's
limitations are in that regard than I'd appreciate it:

Bitcoin (7 TPS)

Ethereum (20 TPS)

IBM Blockchain (1000 TPS)

Ripple (1500 TPS)

Cheers.
There are some blockchain that already created a blockchain with a better scalability than it. you must try to take a look on the medium blockchain just like zilliqa, universa and many more. Some of them are able to surpass ripple.
1691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth tx on: January 26, 2019, 11:45:34 PM
Can anyone tell me how to locate an Ethernet address with a tx amount and an exact time?
It's impossible, i guess you need at least the address that was used as a sender or the destination address. I never saw someone who has putting amount or the time and he can find the tx address. it's impossible for me personally.
1692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrencies be able to use for payment? on: January 26, 2019, 11:42:02 PM
I think in my country there is rarely crypto payment. because until now the government has not approved crypto circulating in my country. so I rarely see people transacting crypto.
I guess that's not even in your country but in some countries too, so far the crypto can be used to buy the gift card and it's working on the US region only. but there are some service which has already created a service that make you able to buy anything.
1693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: altcoins for 2-3 years holding! on: January 25, 2019, 11:47:12 PM
With the current situation of the market... 2-3 years holding doesnt seems something unusual.. in fatc i think for this as very long term investment.. in 2030, crypto will be a solid consolidated industry. Then maybe i sell one of my ETH for 10.000$ Cheesy
if you discuss the price of ethereum in the region of $ 10,000, then it looks like a fantasy. I would be very happy if ethereum returned to the level of the beginning of 2018, when it reached 1,300 dollars or at least 800 dollars.
Just try to create a sense prediction and then we should be optimistic about the price of ethereum. Without the help from bitcoin and it will be impossible to reach that rate again. In fact, the fundamental of bitcoin can affect the whole of major coins.
1694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The death of Ethereum is inevitable? Can ETH on the price of $100? on: January 25, 2019, 11:30:46 PM
The topic of Ethereum's death or replacement keeps coming regularly. Do not see why a topmost project like Ethereum will die. Cannot see it happening in next year or two at least.
Why they are not taking about the death of low or medium cap of altcoin rather than create a non sense one like this thread. The ethereum will stay on this level. This caused by the bitcoin has been doing the same thing to. This created by haters of ethereum.
1695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth buying low-volume tokens? on: January 25, 2019, 11:07:30 PM
I think yes. As you buy it for a cheap price, and then you just wait a bit enough to increase its price then trade or sell it in a profitable income. That's why many investors and traders buys a cheap coin and trade it in a profitable time.
Exactly if you are not investing a lot of money and your portfiolio is divesificated some low-volume altcoin picks may give you a very good ROI in future.
But it must have a lot of potential and creating a product that makes sense. Low volume altcoin may have a potential to give you a huge profit when it gets a big news, there was a possibility for altcoin to inrease more than 50% from its price at once.
1696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung Galaxy S10, Blockchain Keystore Ethereum Wallet on: January 25, 2019, 11:00:31 PM
Just read about this on the /r/cryptocurrency, it's a leak so it might be fake. Need an official source to confirm the legitimacy of this. If it's true that it would be a huge plus, but I doubt that Samsung would take a potential risk in their hands.
Samsung may not be taking so much of a risk,i like to look at it as placing it as an optional app that comes with new phones.users can always delete apps they do not like.In any case, the news is not yet confirmed
It's a built in application which already claimed by scamsung through applied some patents to the regulators. I thought that you can delete it because it has already built in your phone. Samsung has created it for you.
1697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project Initiators and Team need KYC more than Investors on: January 25, 2019, 10:57:47 PM
The decentralized nature of cryptocurrency seems not be effective when it comes to investing in cryptocurrency, seeing that investors in most cases are asked to do KYC, bounty hunters inclusive.

I do not think investors should be compelled or made to do KYC by submitting their personal data and documents, because project initiators do not stand any risk of losing their money. Rather project initiators or developers should be made to do KYC, in order to gain the trust of investors, who want to invest in their projects.

This is necessary because we have seen cases of scam ICOs, which have made investors to lose trust in a lot of them. So to gain the trust back, we would need to know whom we are giving our money to as investors.

Just like that and just try to tell you endchain as the ico project which all of the team have already proven their identity through KYC verification and it has already verified through some parties. We need the more trusted team like this one and KYC verification looks so important to avoid the scammer.
1698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2019 first quarter market prediction on: January 21, 2019, 10:17:19 AM
There is no good sign for the market situation in the first quarter of 2019. Bitcoin value will tend to go down and this could make the market situation worsen.
There will be no a lot of changes in the market, but it was telling us if the bitcoin price will remain stable. In fact that, the crypto gets better while at the same time there was a lot of bad news attack the crypto space. Seems like regulation becomes the main problem.
1699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Truth about altcoins on: January 21, 2019, 10:13:06 AM
People are out there just speculating bad news about Altcoins but trust me they are one of the best source to make it. Just try in some potential ones and you will realize the outcome. Don't always fall to what others say and quickly sell out your coins. Just hold on.
You can generate the decent profit when you are buying it at the correct time just like when it reaches the dip price. You can't get a huge profit when you are taking the wrong time to buy that. The potential coind doesn't mean if that can bring you a huge profit shortly.
1700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Pump after dump? on: January 20, 2019, 03:02:13 AM
Pump and dump happens to every coin, it's not just pump groups working on shitcoins on exchanges like yobit, but real coins being manipulated by whales. It has been dumped a lot so a pump is certainly due
I also saw that and was very disappointed with their actions. they sacrificed many people for their greed. whales dominate the market and monopolize prices while others shout with big losses.
Whales can easily do a pump to a shitcoin to attract the new buyers. that already happened since the crypto has already created by satoshi nakamoto. pump and dump are usual things in the cryptocurrency and you should remember that dude
