221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin teaching approach on: May 04, 2022, 05:59:51 PM
I have some suggestions as someone who already did some teachings at my university for a few months about bitcoin and investment skills. Since the students can have different levels of knowledge of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, there can be some students who don't know a word about it. So, You can start with the basics of investing and why we need to invest, and then you can start with different investment options and markets and why we chose bitcoin. I suggest you do not get into the technical-related stuff like understanding the mempool and hashing algorithms because this can be boring for the students.

Why would you emphasize on investment when teaching about bitcoin?

Why not tell the students about blockchain technology and teach them how to develop smart contracts and how does stuff like staking, and mining work. Let's not ask students to invest in the crypto as then their focus will be only on earning and not on learning.
222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where does your country stand ? on: May 04, 2022, 03:12:19 PM
I was sitting and wondering which countries might have the highest gambling rates and for me I thought it could be UK or the US but despite this I went on the web to do a rescarch on which countries gamble the most. Let's have a look at this, since this information might be interesting to you guys as well !

1. Australia
2. Singapore ( they only opened their first casino in 2010!)
3. Ireland
4. Canada
5. Finland
6. Italy
7. Hong Kong
8. Norway
9. Greece
10. Spain !!

I was just as surprised as you guys since I did expect other countries to show up here as well instead of the ones that already did but you can recheck the same on the source : https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.worldatlas.com/amp/articles/countries-that-gamble-the-most.html
Other than that US , Canada,. Japan , UK are few of the countries known for their absolute support of the crypto casinos as well.
What about your country as well ??

I am a little surprised as why the top 10 list does not contain US and UK ? I have heard that gambling in US is at its peak but i could not find its name in top 10 list  Shocked

Another thing which i noticed is that these all countries are developed ones, however, i think that there are many gamblers who belong to the underdeveloped countries too. Aren't they included here?
223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Momentum in Crypto World on: May 04, 2022, 02:59:55 PM
Cryptocurrency is gathering momentum every now and then. Organisations and institutions are seeing the need to start accepting the new way to easy life. Now that Bentley University has accepted cryptocurrencies for tuition payment, as one of the first universities in the US to do so, what can we expect?

The adoption of bitcoin is no doubt increased over the years and it will continue to increase. You are asking about expectations of bitcoin related to price or adoption ?
Keep in mind, even with all these institution's adoptions, there will be bear times, and hence do not expect anything for the short term. For the long term, yes the world is shifting from fiat to cryptocurrencies.
224  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: May 04, 2022, 02:05:53 PM
Another issue is that many review sites actually write in favour of 1xbit for various reasons.
The Various reasons are actually greed and money. 1xbit scammed people off thousands if not millions of money and that's some money they use to aggressively advertise in whatever space they can come across. These scammers are everywhere... like tentacles of an octopus Undecided

Are you talking about this forum? If you find any good review written by any member of the forum who is wearing 1xbit signature, then you should ignore that review. 1xbit pay its users for marketing here and those who are in their signature campaign will never write anything bad about them.
To get the real picture of the 1XBIT casino, you should read the reviews by those who are not wearing the 1xbit signature.

Why would any of the participants of the signature campaign write something negative about 1xbit, if the casino has been paying us fairly and regularly for a year? After all, even if someone didn't play at casino, it is natural that it is a sign of honesty.

Yes, 1XBIT has been paying to their signature campaign participants and you should write positively about it to the extent of the signature campaign only.
They have been scamming on their casino, why don't you people (wearing 1xbit signature) highlight that too with honesty. Maybe because the majority of the signature campaign participants never play at 1xbit or they just can't write the truth as they could be banned from the campaign if they do so.
225  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Scammer In Forum Who Want to Steal Private Keys From New Users on: May 04, 2022, 06:23:29 AM
So that type of link isn't dangerous then only visiting it?

Again heard of sites where you visit it and its dangerous such as some sites you visit it might even automatically download a file to your pc.  But you have to open the file in order to be infected.  But also heard of where some files automatically get downloaded to your pc and malware/keylogger/trojan is there.

What about that?

Yes, we should not click on unknown links on different websites as some websites are made to install trojan or malwares into your system without any human intervention.
However. there is no harm in clicking the google form link but if you filled the form, provided the private key, and submitted the form, then you are in big trouble as then another person can move your funds to his own wallets.
226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Horse Racing and Gambling on it should be banned on: May 03, 2022, 11:56:30 PM
I would be interested to know how betting on animals helps people? As food, everything is clear to me, but as a subject of bets - no. Would you care to enlighten me on this matter?

Maybe the user means is by the general.

Since horse betting is a large industry, it helps people on the economic side. It produces jobs and money to support people. If it will be totally banned, it's a big loss in the employment rate.

We should not overreact to animal cruelty because legit horse racing is regulated by the government. If they will do an improper act, they will face the consequences of the law. Horse racing is not what others think as easy as simply running horses. There are guidelines and terms about the proper way of treating horses here before placing them on the race track.

If the horse race game is legal into a country I guess we don't need to worry about but still if there's some not good thing happen to them like into the cruelty I guess this is the time they need to take some actions even though it's legal still it's part of them to have a life. Also we know the industry already of the horse race is since the ancient period of time,, and this is the use as a mode of transportation because of its capability and strengths.

If i remember correctly, horse racing is popular in most parts of the world. You would find competitions of horse racing in US, UK, Australia and hong kong. If the sports are not being declared illegal, I wonder why would anyone want to ban gambling on these sports (horse racing) ?
Does not make sense to me.
227  Economy / Speculation / Re: If Dow Jones falls 80%, bitcoin will fall 99% ? on: May 03, 2022, 11:50:07 PM
It is remarkable that during all these 13 bitcoin years (2009-2021) we have witnessed no big stock market crash - the fiat money mass has only increased and increased.

During this period there have been no years like 1929 or even 2008. But when the last remarkable stock market fall emerged (in March 2020), bitcoin fell much more than major stock indexes...

How sharply will bitcoin price react to the next Big Crash ?

We haven't seen a stock market crash and how bitcoin reacts to it.

As per my analysis, Dow Jones may crash to 80% (which is highly unlikely), bitcoin may crash too but then there will be a V-shaped recovery in bitcoin. The reason is that many people will buy bitcoin at those cheap prices and this bitcoin will decouple itself from stocks.
228  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin price is falling? on: May 03, 2022, 11:43:30 PM
I have been thinking of the possible reasons of the bitcoin falling down. Since I am not an expert on the Currency I cannot predict or give any reason. That is why I want to know the reasons. Please if anyone can tell me I will appreciate. Thanks.

I cannot see any fundamental reason as why the bitcoin price is falling and not increased for many months. I can say that probably the demand of bitcoin has decreased over some time and there has been stop in tether printing which has caused this price dump.
I can see inflation all over the world and soon people will look for safe heaven investments and bitcoin will be the best place where they can keep their money safe.
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you spread BTC to people within you on: May 03, 2022, 11:35:53 PM
Hello all,

As a lover of Bitcoin how do you spread Bitcoin, i mean how do you tell people about Bitcoin and it's adoptions?
To me i have held many discussions with friends in college with me, sometimes teaching them blockchain, the future of Bitcoin and why we should buy and hold Bitcoin, how the world will be in 5 years to 10 years to come. With this little meetings i have been able to share with my friends and also spread bitcoin to mates in college and i know they will do the same and if everyone does the same tell me what will be of Bitcoin today. So let us support Bitcoin max Adoption by telling people arounds us, bitcoin remains the future of money.
I am also still in college and often hold small discussions about bitcoin and the development of cryptocurrencies, I believe that with light discussions and question and answer sessions, knowledge about bitcoin can be spread to everyone. but for the general public I'm not sure I can teach them about bitcoin because many will refuse.

I usually tell my friends about bitcoins on a personal level. I do not have a platform where i could speak and tell a lot of people about bitcoin but yet i still eager to teach my near and dear ones about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
Also, we should not be discouraged if anyone refuses our offer to get knowledge about bitcoin. Some people hate bitcoin and do not want to listen about them.
230  Economy / Gambling / Re: Wizary.com |🚀NEW CRYPTO CASINO🚀| 💵10 FREE COINS FOR NEW MEMBER💵 on: May 03, 2022, 04:34:55 PM
Like most other forum members, I have also stepped back from the registration page when I noticed that they are asking for phone number verification. Maybe they have this requirement to prevent the free sign-up bonus. But there is other way to track those abuses. Hopefully they will change this requirement soon.

Yes, it's been hinted from the representative for wizary that they will rethink this phone number verification and change it to the email verification.
Many people including myself waiting for this change to happen so that i can make an account on this site. I am sure as soon as the change is implement, there will be a flood of registration at wizary.
231  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Game on: May 03, 2022, 03:04:37 PM
From a businessman's perspective, you'll see the challenge because every beginning is always a challenging part.

I've been there as a business owner although it's not a casino I know it's the same for the new casino operators and owners since it's also a business.

Aside from getting new customers or players, the next challenging part is on how to maintain the loyalty of each of them.
That's what I mean.
As a businessman, before we even run a new business, we have seen the challenges because previously, we would have surveyed to see what we will face and how to overcome them.
As long as it is a business, there will be competition among business people and it will depend on how we can avoid and overcome it.
How to keep customers to stay in our business is the only way after we can get them as our customers and it will depend on how we can serve them.
Yeah.

And that's why there's a need to reinvent strategies if there's ever a decline in the users count and activity within a casino. Well, these casinos know how to keep it up and deal with it.

Getting back those customers that have shipped to another one is one of the hardest. If there's a request and demand for a new game, they have to give it to them.

The gamblers around the world are not decreasing but the casino still needs to promote themselves in order to attract more customers and stand out in the competition.
Running a casino is similar to running an business and you need to apply the same marketing skills to promote it.

Saw twitch raffle on the telegram today. I’m amused in how many ways Roobet is publishing themselves and attracting users to play various games. Actually I never participated in the game but seen some videos on YouTube for the live streamer. That guy is really crazy and his energy is always off the roof. Lolz. Just make sure you guys don’t kee your volume 100% while wearing the headphones. Lolz.
I will get into today’s raffle for sure. Twitch twitch guys!
If you happen to check  roobet.com events? then you will find them the only consistent gambling casino site that continuously bringing events here and there.

from games and Rounds section to Service section? indeed as they have just finished a Art contest few days ago.
so Yes thanks for sharing mate , I will check those games later today as I have no time this past few days.

Also the results have been announced which can be found here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5391090.msg60031539#msg60031539

Another great opportunity from Roobet that you can still make the artworks and get the merits for your hard work.

If someone wants to make a list with images to the artworks I'll award it with merit when I have some (currently at 0 to give out, sorry).
234  Economy / Gambling / Re: Wizary.com |🚀NEW CRYPTO CASINO🚀| 💵10 FREE COINS FOR NEW MEMBER💵 on: May 03, 2022, 08:55:32 AM
I want the free coins and to try this new casino but this is the one thing that restricts me from joining, I've been receiving a lot of spam messages business offers, and recommended coins to invest I don't want to add more, other casinos are not implementing this when signing up, is it possible to take away this, so people will not question your casino about their sensitive information.

What is restricting you from signing up at Wizary? You have to fill out the form as shown in your screenshot and you are ready to go.
I don't see any error message shared by you.
However, i hope they will eliminate the phone number option soon as suggested by many members here.
235  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is a game you would like to see in an online crypto casino? on: May 03, 2022, 03:50:36 AM
To anyone who suggest adding sportsbook and esports, I don't think it's relevant with the @OP questions since on their site they're already add both sports and esports, even not really that complete.

I think OP did not ask this question relevant to his gambling site and also he has not given any link to his gambling site in the OP post. He just asked a general question and i believe as the competition among the gambling sites is growing a lot, it is better to have sportsbooks and esports included in the casino site. The more features the casino site can offer, the more gambling audience it can grab.
236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hard earned money - Busted in seconds on: May 01, 2022, 11:50:56 PM
It was almost two months hard earned money. Got busted in few minutes. I don't know why I wasn't able to have me within the limits. Just started with a $3 bet, but it went upto $98 and ended with empty wallet. This is completely unlucky, because every bets were placed to roll above 20 which means the winning probability is quite high. Anyhow I wasn't in control and I didn't follow the rule gamble what you can afford to loss. It was a money saved to repay a debt. Now once again the interest needs to be paid so to manage the debt for some more time. Unlucky me  Sad Sad Sad

You are not a newbie to do this mistake of risking your hard earned money in gambling. You are a Legendary member and we expect that you set an example for us but i understand that sometimes we forget the rules of the games. I can see that you tried to play revenge gambling to recover your losses but kept on losing unless your wallet was emptied but the win did not embrace you.
You should keep the emotions out of the game, if you want to succeed in gambling.
237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: May 01, 2022, 11:29:04 PM
There is no ODI going on and this thread has nothing to discuss about ODI. In fact we are discussing IPL a T20 format in ODI thread. Is there anyone else like me who wanna see international cricket back in action? I dont think blackout of ODI for such a long time is good for cricket fans.

It's been a long break in international cricket because everyone is busy in IPL and in IPL seasons, there are no other formats and series scheduled.

Anyways, I don't think anyone (other than me) is missing ODI / Test Matches as everyone must be enjoying IPL matches. People in Pakistan have no access to watch these matches live.  Undecided

Don't know how can you say that you can't access IPL matches when everything is broadcast online. Even if the matches are not shown on your TV channels, you can watch them online through various subscriptions (by paying of course )or watch illegal broadcasts through Facebook for free.
238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and the future of crypto 10 years from now. on: May 01, 2022, 10:54:27 PM
In the 10 years since the creation of Bitcoin, no coin has been created, leaving Bitcoin behind.Bitcoin is one of the most popular currencies of all time.Bitcoin is one of the most trusted stories in terms of popularity. The popularity of Bitcoin is increasing day by day.In the future, the popularity of Bitcoin will increase exponentially and Bitcoin will not seem to be the currency to be pushed back.

I see "Adoption" to be the next big thing in the next 10 years. The prices of bitcoin and other crypto will increase as the demand is increasing but the major hurdle for the cryptocurrencies is the Adoption. It is yet to see how governments and other financial institutions will allow this adoption of crypto and how will they react to seeing the common man being in control of the finances.
