1142  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 04, 2021, 06:00:27 AM
Its important to see where are we in terms of bitcoin / altcoin season.

What is the meaning of the important thing you are trying to talk about?

The important thing is that this is not a time to invest in the altcoins as many people are shilling their alts (Top 3 altcoins, Altcoins to perform well in April etc etc). Since we are at the top of altseason, its time to sell the alts and get into bitcoins, else you will be stuck in altcoins.

Here is a secret, In the bitcoin season, we should buy cheap alts and sell them in altseason while most people buy alts in altseason.
In altcoin season, we should focus to buy bitcoin to prepare for bitcoin season next.

I bet on your site for the first time that Liverpool will win. I also have a few questions for the first time I bought it. When will it result? And where can I see the bets I have received.
Maybe it has easy visibility but I could not find it. Smiley

For sure, the result of the bet will be declared once the match will be over. Also you can find all the details in the stats Menu and then click on the personal Stats which showed all your earnings from different methods like rolls, lottery, betting etc.

1144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think my ETH is lost. on: April 03, 2021, 08:14:00 PM
I transacted my ETH going to my ETH wallet using the BSC and the amount did not arrived.

I guess I lost my money as I tried again using the ETH network and it came to my wallet.

My question is, why would Binance give you an option to transact with BSC if its not supported on the coin you transacted.
They have this questions that you will answer and if you will agree they'll send the transaction.

It's lost. Ask CZ if he can give it back.
Thing is, the wallet you sent it to probably doesn't support BSC network, so it got lost in the limb.
Fun fact, if you import your wallet on BSC, you might just get it. (IE switch to BSC network on metamask and see if it's there)

I think we should know what happen if we send to the wrong chain by mistake. Importing the wallet to BSC should work but again either the OP or anyone who had this experience would tell.
I am curious to know the solution so i may try to send a small amount to the wrong chain and try to recover funds through this way, just for my knowledge and experimental purpose.

1146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC was a lifetime chance and I don't think we will see a similar opportunity on: April 03, 2021, 07:50:58 PM
I don't imagine anything else that you'll be able to get for free or pennies and then value million times more. I just can't. No lottery will ever give you that. I admire the early adopters and wish I've been one of them, unfortunately no "friend" told me about it and I only joined in 2013 when I've found about it alone, still not bad but could have been better.

In the subject you wrote "BTC was a lifetime chance" which is not true indeed. BTC is a lifetime chance and its not too late to invest in bitcoin. Even if you invest at current market prices, you will be in lot of profit by the end of this year. Bitcoin will reach the marketcap of gold and therefore it has a lot of room to grow.
1147  Other / Meta / Re: Introducing NFTs for forum members on: April 03, 2021, 05:54:03 AM
that this will end on 2nd April.  Smiley

This made it so fun and so successful.
Else I expect people would have been more careful. I would have certainly been more careful with the money  Grin (oh, so many BTC...)

Only careful with bitcoin ?
If it was in real 1000 btc i would not have spend a single bitcoin on the NFTs as bitcoin is here to stay and NFT will vanish one day.  Smiley
1148  Other / Meta / Re: Introducing NFTs for forum members on: April 02, 2021, 03:22:20 PM
Maybe next time it would be better if we can hold the events for a week even though it says only a 'day'

One week?
This will only bring more profit, for the corrupt who rob our beloved NTFs of the forum.  Cool

Too bad it was only one day. Luckily I took a screenshot before the fNFTs disappeared.

This should be no surprise as i already predicted to the exact millisecond that this will end on 2nd April.  Smiley

Exactly as i predicted   Cheesy

Don't think it will last for more than 24 hours because as always everything will be back to normal as soon as its hits 2nd April.

This feature will stay forever in Bitcointalk. 🚀🚀

By the way, i am using the typical traders strategy that is Buy High and Sell Low.  Wink

i have a question for the team. i recently had my friend and his wife put some bitcoin on the site. but i missmanaged the refferal codes. how can they make new accounts with my ref code. i am being coutions , dont want to be flagged as a bot. as i have enjoyed your site very much

So they have already made the accounts not using your referral code ?  and you want then to again make another account only because you want to get referral commission from them.

That's the only way i think but better do not ask them to make another account and don't worry if the they did not use your referral code.  Smiley
1152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Type of people who buy bitcoin. on: March 28, 2021, 11:06:49 AM
Hello. So, I was wondering if bitcoin is something that only the privileged and elite who have extra money leftover can invest in or not. Are normal people working minimum wage buying bitcoin, even if it is a small amount? Thanks.

When it comes to the buying of bitcoin, i has nothing to do with the class. I know many people who are rich but do not invest in crypto because they feel that they may lose the money of bitcoin dumps. However there are other people who save money from their salaries and keep accumulating bitcoins. Only those who have belief in bitcoin, invest in it.
1153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto's first post sale on: March 28, 2021, 10:08:36 AM
Imagine that Satoshi Nakamoto reappears and wants to auction his first Bitcoin Talk post as an NFT

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5.msg28#msg28

At what price do you think it would be sold?

Of course, with a proof that it is him and he who sells it.

 Cheesy

Satoshi Nakamoto did not appear when bitcoin reach a milestone of 50,000$ and you think he will come in front of public only to sell his NFT post ?
That's not going to happen in the first place but if by any chance he does come up with this idea, his NFT post will be sold beyond imagination as people will be willing to pay billions of dollar for this.

What Curious me is that age of 20 is the marrying stage? is this a belief?

I believe this is not a belief but the age of marriage usually depends upon the society. In most countries, men get married once they are well settled to afford their family and normally one is settled between 25-30 years. From the physical prospective, men can get married after 18 as he is adult but usually people marry late only because they need time to stand on their foot.
1155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla now accepts Bitcoin on: March 28, 2021, 08:51:00 AM
Elon Musk just announced that you can now buy a Tesla with Bitcoin. He also says that they will not convert the BTC to fiat.

This is very bullish news and also this means that Elon musk know the importance of bitcoin and he want to collect as many bitcoins as possible.
However, just to be a little curious on his statement, how will we know whether he has converted the bitcoin to fiat or not , which he got from tesla sales ?
Is there any black n white way or system to know this ?

Governments are looking to buy Bitcoin, NYDIG CEO confirms https://cointelegraph.com/news/governments-are-looking-to-buy-bitcoin-nydig-ceo-confirms just so much good news

Currently we have institution fomo where institution are investing in bitcoin one after the other. However in future, we will have countries and government  fomo into bitcoin which will be real adoption of bitcoin. We will get these news more often now that more and more govt. and institutions are buying bitcoins.
1157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to sell my BTC? on: March 28, 2021, 07:48:01 AM
you are very fortunate to have bitcoin in your wallet, now you can become a new rich person, the choice is yours, you want to choose to sell it is good and choose to hold is also good, but my advice is that you better sell and buy other potential alt or new alt that's a very good idea. good and to double the money

Yeah.. this is like the worst advise at this point. Rather than "doubling" your money, you will most probably end up losing all of your capital. What happened to XRP is just a trailer of things to come. In the coming months was can expect more and more altcoins to go down, similar to Ripple. The best thing to do is to hold on to your BTC, without diverting any of it for the purchase of shitcoins.

Yeah selling all your bitcoin for altcoin is really a bad decision and should be avoided. Either keep holding all your bitcoins as it is the safest investment and this is not the peak of bitcoin. Also note that if you still want to buy some altcoins then you can keep 50% of the money in bitcoin and invest the rest 50% in the good altcoins.
1158  Other / Off-topic / Re: Laptop for gaming purposes? on: March 28, 2021, 05:21:39 AM
I bought one last year, ASUS brand. Not because I'm gamer, rather the opposite.
Gaming laptops are great for their power and portability so you can buy it once and have it for a few years and you'll still be able to run heavy software. That's why I've bought mine.
Nothing fancy, just an i5 and a GTX 1080 with 16gb RAM. Point is that if you're the kind of person that travels for work or is constantly on the move, you should do a one time investment and get a gaming laptop.

These days all the new laptops generally equipped with enough ram and hard disk space for all type of use and you can play games on them too. However if you need to play very heavy graphics intensive games, then you should focus on a laptop which have a high end graphics card with a lot of ram. I have an HP laptop with a builtin graphics card which is enough for playing games like PUBG.
1159  Other / Off-topic / Re: Importance of water on: March 28, 2021, 04:58:57 AM
Water is the source of life for the human body. Water can transport nutrients to every cell in the body, and export waste to the lungs and kidneys before being excreted outside the body. The main components of blood, carrying hormones and antibacterial cells. Water is the most important element in the body's chemical reactions, digestion and metabolism. Water can protect the body's cell tissues and the functions of lubricating joints like a soft cushion.

In short, you cannot think of life on earth without water. Water is a big blessing which we do not realize. If water is eliminated from the world, it will take few days for all the living things to die. The existence of the earth is determined by the availably of the water. So we should not waste the water and use it as per the requirement.

*Happy birthday to you, hope you are always safe and healthy...
I think your topic is better moved to the 'meta' or 'off topic' thread. I feel fit there because this section is specifically for discussing Bitcoin. *btw, in my country, 20 years old is too early to get married Grin

This topic has been moved to off-topic and yeah Many happy returns of the day to the OP.

In most countries, the age of 20 is the perfect age of the marriage of the girls whereas boys usually marriage at the age of 25.
