1181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi crypto (legit?) Or a hoax? on: March 19, 2021, 06:36:50 AM
There is already a thread that talks about PI, and you will find answers to your questions here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5237735.0
I have also downloaded it but ended up deleting it because of the many oddities in this project.
If we have downloaded the Pi Network application, we will know the answer, as you said, indeed the oddity occurs because some of the ones that are mined don't make sense so I think this is not a real project but only utilizing something the team wants, I have already read the thread you mentioned and it looks like it will be more interesting for the OP to see it on the reputation board.
I also don't know how these tokens are traded because in CMC the track data cannot be read, meaning that it is clear that this is a mining application, not a legitimate one, if you already know everything, the OP should be able to avoid the application.
It should be like that but unfortunately it could be that the OP is also looking for answers outside of this forum which is often the answer is the opposite of what the members of this forum convey.
Not tracked in CMC because to my knowledge they are not listed on any exchange.

Pi coin is of zero value because no one can buy/sell this coin. Its been so long that this coin is avaible in the market for mining but not available on the exchanges. Unless this coin is not on exchanges, i am not interested to follow this project or involve in the mining of Pi coin.
1182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SFP can go to 5$ on: March 19, 2021, 06:15:09 AM
There has been a lot of hype around this coin (Safepal) and I think it is a solid project. I think it can go to 5$ comparing it to several coins.
Hmmm that's interesting to discuss about SFP but it looks like $5 is still over valued to be reached by SFP consider about this wallet is still a new wallet and if we are seeing it based on the features that owned by this wallet and then it's very clear to say that if trust wallet is a step ahead from SFP.
I would not say if this is a bad project but for this project is still overvalued but i do agree if this coin has potential to go to the $5 in the future.

I am holding this coin and my average buying is around 2.5$. This coin can easily go to 5$ or more. They are offering  the cheapest hardware wallet and have binance support. This is a fundamentally strong coin and recommended for investment in mid-long term.
1183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 mistakes to avoid when investing in Crypto on: March 19, 2021, 06:01:42 AM
Yes, not all FOMO is bad sometimes it's profitable but the OP here is talking about "beginners in crypto" because don't have the experience yet.
Of course not all of them, but I believe what the OP meant was mostly FOMO. I also believe that FOMO is a bad trend and should not be followed, as most FOMO ends in a loss. FOMO is the biggest enemy of traders and investors alike, because FOMO can be easily played by whales, so be careful if you trade/nvest based on FOMO trends.

Very few people understand fomo. The experienced traders always buy when the coin is in the dip and do not follow the coin which have already raised to 40-50%. If you miss the gain in one coin, its better to wait for the coin to retrace back or perhaps we could look for opportunity in other coins.
1184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: March 19, 2021, 05:46:27 AM
I am yet to see a strong performance from New Zealand outside their home ground advantage and India does have a strong team but they are not playing with their strongest team in recent times, they might be experimenting to get the right combination or whatever but i said what i said with the established team they will be playing during the World cup.

India do have a very strong lineup, but they are struggling against England in the ongoing T20 series, although they are having the home advantage. Everything else is working for India - spin/pace bowling, middle order batting.etc. But the openers are not in good form. KL Rahul had yet another pathetic outing yesterday, and Kohli wants to stick with him instead of giving opportunity to some of the younger players such as Shubman, Devdutt, Ishan Kishan or Prithvi Shaw.
Just because KL Rahul is not able to bat does not mean Indian team is struggling. Every team has home advantage but it still does not mean home team will dominate the series. A lot of new players are being tested in this T20 series before the T20 worldcup which I think is a good idea before Indian selectors sit and choose the final worldcup squad.

Sometime home advantage become as a disadvantage because there is also a lot of home pressure. If your openers are not performing well consistently, this will impact a lot of pressure on the middle order and can impact their performance also. Sometimes shuffling in the batting line up also works good for the team.
1185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Internet connectivity - Gambling wins/losses on: March 19, 2021, 05:19:57 AM
Have you guys experienced any loss/win out of the issue with internet connectivity. I've mentioned about wins/losses, but mostly people get affected negatively when there is connectivity issues. I personally believe that the internet connection is also a reason with our gambling wins. Here it is about casino games and not sports betting.

Few times, i have experienced the same problem. I started a crash game and i was unable to stop it because of slow/no internet. This caused my bet to be lost.
Now i only play gambling when i know that my internet is stable so i don't have to bear this unfortunate loss.
1186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any successful and relatively new casinos? on: March 19, 2021, 05:03:33 AM
Sometimes luck factor also can decide whether the person will stay on this casino or move to a new one, when someone keep losing all their bets then there is high chance of they will move to another one to test their luck their. But as you said there is huge competition in the gambling business so every casino is trying to give best out of them to lure players into their site.

If a person is lucky, he would be able to win in any casino. I don't think that luck changes with casino switching. I mostly switch casino if i found a better interface in other casino or if there is any promotion going on. However, keep in mind, that we should only switch between trusted casinos which have good feedback. Playing in a brand new casino with no feedback is a risk in itself.
1187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has anyone placed esports bets? on: March 19, 2021, 04:35:47 AM
Last year there was a time when i was interested in placing esports bets because all other sports were not being held because of covid-19. Although i did enjoyed esports and placing bets on it but since the physical sports have resumed, i have stopped placing the bets on esports and focus on other sports.
1188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Its coming i faster and would shock most people on: March 19, 2021, 04:23:12 AM
Friends, I think the moment we've been waiting on is fast approaching and should it come as a shocker to most of us. O saw this on coindesk.
https://www.coindesk.com/luxury-us-hotel-group-now-accepts-bitcoin-dogecoin-and-other-cryptos?amp=1

what would our reaction be like?
When bitcoin and crypto finally emerges as the future?

Well uhmmm, we still won't reap the world into halves but then, it's going to be something for the crypto community.

What could that something be for you, haven't scaled through the scarry news of your investment days and have finally over came the challenge.

For most of us, who are active in bitcointalk, this is not a surprise. The bitcoin adaption takes time but once few big companies will adopt bitcoin, then we will see a rush of companies integrating bitcoin into their businesses. I will not be surprised that sooner we may expect every major company will support bitcoin payments.
1189  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie traders - Learn from my mistakes on: March 18, 2021, 12:18:04 PM
Every human being has to face many crises at the beginning of the business but gradually they move forward by gaining good experience about the market. No one can do business without mistakes losses must be faced and corrected not everyone is wrong in the same place business mistakes vary from person to person if you have good skills about trading techniques and its charts before trading you are less likely to make mistakes.

To tell you the truth, even the experienced traders are making a lot of mistakes. Trading is something in which everyone become perfect after learning for his/her mistakes. There are people who keep on doing the same mistakes again and again and never try to avoid it. If you do not learn from your mistakes, you gonna lose money in trading.
1190  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading your strategy on DEMO is a waste of time on: March 18, 2021, 10:04:53 AM
I have no intention of riling up anyone, but as a learning trader it is good that we discuss facts with one another. The first truth is that there is no spare money anywhere in the world; every money are valuable. To improve your trading psychology, you must practice your trade strategies on a live trade; even if you start out with 10$; you need to feel the heat, be under pressure.

Trading is for individuals who can afford to lose money, so if you cannot afford to loose money; please do not trade. In trading we are here to multiply money and not create it; live trading helps you compound losses or multiply money; while demo trading creates money for you.

No risk, no reward; start practicing your trading strategy on a live trade; even if it is 1$; feel the heat and develop instinctively.

I completely agree with you. I remember how 10 years ago I decided to try my hand at Forex trading for the first time. I was offered training and trading on a demo account, but I decided not to waste time and went to trade immediately on a real account for real money. My contribution was $ 1 and was able to increase it 10 times in some time, that is, to earn $ 10. Since I just tried my hand at forex, my task was just to try and then I stopped trading, as it took too long. But I am glad that I got experience on a real account and very quickly understood what and how it works.

If anyone wants to trade in real environment from the start, there are two things which need to be taken care of.

1- Learn trading as without learning you will lose in the long run
2- Start with a small amount which you can afford to lose. Once you make profit , then you can invest more amount to gain more profits.
1191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk!! A name behind another scam on: March 18, 2021, 09:14:45 AM
Elon Musk is not a scammer. Twitter is his personal space and he can write anything on this twitter profile / bio. He never wrote in this profile to buy bitcoin and dogecoin. If people start buying dogecoin after seeing his tweets, then its people mistake who do not think before investing and blindly invest in a shit coin like dogecoin.
1192  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how do you catch your deals as a scalper? on: March 18, 2021, 09:03:15 AM

what do you think of my way of trading? , tell us how you scalp.
Usually these things do particularly means with price actions. Things ive been using? Common ones.

-Fibonanacci
-EMA
-RSI
-MCD
-BB
-Some candle patterns (Usually reversal ones)

These are the main technical tools ive been using when doing day trades.

Other then these indicators, it is very important to trade in a certain time frame. If you are scalper, it not good if you open the 4hr chart and apply these indicators there. You need to focus more on 15 mins or 5 mins charts and identify the M and W pattern to quickly get-in get-out of the trades.
1193  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: whale tactics? on: March 18, 2021, 08:49:57 AM
If you brought low and it was now high, then you could start off selling high and keep selling lower to lower the price.  People like a bargain would keep buying as it went down.  As long as you don't go below your "low" then you know you could immediately buy it all back for a fraction of what you sold it for?  Is there a name for this tactic?

That's the tactics used by the whales. Since they have a big quantity of the coins with them which they bought at low prices, so if they dump straight away it will dump the market but at same time they won't have buyers order to whom they can sell. So they usually sell some portion and then let the market recovers and then sell more.
1194  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much did you make in Bitcoin trading? on: March 14, 2021, 11:38:49 AM

Things are going back to March 13, 2020, the second day of the 312 crash. I personally watched Bitcoin fall to 3,800 U.S. dollars, which is a few hundred U.S. dollars per second. I was shocked, because in my trading history , I’ve never seen the btc so low before, not to mention that there are only two months left before the 512 reduction

If you're being impatient on your Bitcoin investment you'll do a short trading/day trading which I think is not that profitable compared to long trading/holding but it really depends on the person and how good he/she is on handling investments. FUD is really a patience killer so better DYOR (do your own research) at all times.

No matter how much experienced and patience you're ,its not easy to see this big crash at it happen on 13 March, 2020. Seeing your portfolio going to half or zero (if you were in future trade at that time) is not easy. Traders are ready for small corrections but what happened on that day was not expected by anyone.

1196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [NFT] NFT Moon token on: March 14, 2021, 09:45:19 AM
There are so many NFC project this days and you need to choose very carefully where to spend your money. NFT Moon looks pretty interesting as it is a combination of space technology and collectibles

How do you see NFT Moon to be a promising project ? As per their slogan to buy a virtual space on the moon and get a NFT token seems to be a something which may not be real. No one has gone on the moon and there is no point creating a fake moon space and selling it.
Let me know how i am wrong on this analysis  Huh
1197  Other / Off-topic / Re: Corruption and Sports on: March 14, 2021, 09:14:37 AM
In my country every government during the election campaign have the statement we'll abolish corruption on the sports in the manifesto.

Governments should focus on removing corruption from all fields of life and not just the sports. Also if in your country, there is a lot of corruption it won't be easy to get rid of it. Government have to take big steps which may involve prisons to some popular personalities involved in this sin. What i have observed, that the law enforcement agencies are themselves corrupt so they just take money and keep the corruption ongoing.
1198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: DOES ANYONE HERE STILL PLAYS IN NITROGEN SPORTS? on: March 14, 2021, 08:57:29 AM
Does anyone here still plays in Nitrogen Sports? Did you ever tried depositing in their site?

I have a balance in there, but they require me to deposit 0.005BTC first before I can withdraw the balance (which I won from their NitroSpread contest promotion).

I am not sure about the authenticity of the nitrogen sports site because i have not played and deposit there recently. However, there are some sites which require you to deposit certain amount first because you withdraw the money which you won from a promotion. This could also be a trap to collect money from people and do not let them withdraw. Its better to see the feedback of other users who deposit there, before taking any action on this.
1199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another insane win!! $ 1B mega million jackpot on: March 14, 2021, 08:39:04 AM
I agree that even though you have money, you can't buy everything even you win $1B. But having such huge amount can make you or anyone happy by giving them what they need. It's the only thing that one who's in good status and very fortunate to give back if they want to bring smile to others face. Spending that money correctly and wisely will also rely on the attitude of the winner, too bad that there are wealthy winners that have been reported to be broke because they spent it like there's no tomorrow.

If I'm not mistaken, one of these lucky/losers sold the rights to film his case in the cinema. The situation is standard - won something like $ 100 million, quickly spent it and returned to work as a loader. I don't know if the movie helped him to start moving forward again or not  Smiley

If a gambler won $ 100 million in a jackpot or lottery and then he loses all his money very quickly, then whose fault is this ? If the winner does not care about the money or if he is not willing to learn money management, then i am afraid he will never gain money even if he won a lot of money many times.
1200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do I need to pay Tax on my Crypto Gambling Winnings? A guide on: March 14, 2021, 07:25:54 AM
A common question that I see asked is "do I need to pay tax on my crypto gambling winnings?".

It varies from country to country but in most countries you will get away with the tax because the authorities will never trace you if you gamble online with crypto.
In simple words if you cash out your winnings in local fiat, then you may have to pay tax only on that amount.
