2201  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: perfectmoney.com or perfectmoney.is, which domain name is legit? on: November 18, 2022, 10:16:55 PM
I will always go to the .com domain instead of other domain extension with the same domain name.

Based.on whois[1] the .com domain seems legit
Code:
Domain:perfectmoney.com
Registrar:Gandi SAS
Registered On:2004-11-28
Expires On:2027-11-28
Updated On:2022-09-20

On the other hand the .is  whois[2] looks like owned by the same management/person of .com. Since its copyrighted.
Code:
% This is the ISNIC Whois server.
%
% Rights restricted by copyright.
% See https://www.isnic.is/en/about/copyright
domain:       perfectmoney.is
registrant:   SIL11-IS
created:      May 27 2013
expires:      May 27 2023
source:       ISNIC

Also, the .com is labeled as their website base on their app on google play store[3]

2202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zero KYC tolerance gambling platforms on: November 18, 2022, 09:38:25 PM
I am seeing the KYC option as an option that is not serious or bad for us as users, well maybe for users who are Whales, maybe if they feel some fear of leaving their data on the web or even within a platform , because their greatest fear is that they can leak that data and it comes to them to steal it,
Because you don't get the point why KYC is so dangerous in other way around, and how serious identity theft is. Imagine getting calls from some random company or guy trying to talk to me about crypto is too weird for me on phone calls (that's my experience, because of ledger hack recently)

It doesn't need to be a whale or not, an exposed personal info could lead  you in danger, inconvenience and many more.

but at the same time the benefits of KYC help a lot when the account can be hacked, through KYC it can also be recovered. Before, I gave a lot of importance to anonymity, now I don't care, anonymity is already being removed opco by opco, in all the platforms that I have entered, in most of them 98% always look for KYC.
KYC doesn't work like that. Even a hacked account can be recovered via email only or mobile number only. KYC isn't a thing before, but there's already hacking yet account recovery is possible.

I'm not against KYC because i've submitted my info too on my local exchange for crypto to fiat transaction. But people need to be responsible of their own personal data, that don't just give it just because you dont care anonymity or most casino platform or exchange require it. Exercise your due diligence at least on what platform you should give your info.
2203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance- CZ wanted to orchestrate a bitcoin re-org? on: November 18, 2022, 03:41:17 PM
How is it possible? The 51% attack.
But for binance current pool of minings against the total number of miners/pools, it is not possible. Bringing back that idea again is no help but just to stain his reputation again.
2204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have Lucky Casino? on: November 18, 2022, 07:41:17 AM
If you ask a regular casino that is currently using, yes. But for labeling a casino as your lucky casino? I don't think so, particularly speaking, luck doesn't work like that. You will encounter loss in any numbers of probability, even if you have 90% winning rate in every bet, 10% is still a large whole number to be considered for a loss. So, that won't work, not unless there's a cheating behind, but that's less likely to happen.
2205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to prevent cheating in a game on: November 17, 2022, 11:01:04 PM
Only if someone could tell us on what site casino cheating is allowed or hard to detect, so we will go there and try.
Kidding aside, casinos and game providers are investing their money to softwares that detects more reasonably for cheaters.
But then if these cheaters can successfully operates their bets and win, the fraud detection team will always be there to check any kind of suspicious activity and worst if you get caught. So there's no really good at cheating, unless, you are very good at cheating which i dont think so.
2206  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Curious to know about the UseCase on: November 17, 2022, 10:42:40 PM
Bitcoin is designed only for p2p transfer of money without the use of any third party involve, then later on became store of value. With only that, it was supported by many and now has strongest network that it make more decentralized than any other cryptocurrency (alts and tokens).

If you are questioning the only medium of exchange feature of bitcoin, then what else more do you want or expect bitcoin will be. There's nothing more it could be than having centralized and weak network, price/value of these are influenced by the actions of their team, short period of hype, and other " promised use case". Many thoughts of better alts/tokens are cheap with tx fee, well, those alts are literary has cheap value that's why the tx fee is cheap as well.

Well, to be honest, i only see the fee structure and confirmation time of bitcoin is the main hindrance, but after lightning it's all better now.
2207  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can I clean them up myself? on: November 17, 2022, 10:03:39 PM
I might be wrong though but i think he is just trying to filter his previous posts that are not merit worthy, local posts (if ever), and last thing is to prevent others reporting his posts for various reasons. I see this is a thing of other users where as high ranking accounts (sr to hero) yet their posts are too few considering their rank.
2208  Economy / Gambling / Re: If you were building a Sportsbook... on: November 17, 2022, 03:31:43 PM
This is something only those who own sportsbook, sportsbook directory or anything that relates in monitoring and using sports booking services can only answer. Simple words, business owners as this api probably have charges monthly, fix, or whatever.
I hope you can get a detailed or expected answers.
2209  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Genesis' crypto lending (Genesis Global Capital) halts withdrawals on: November 17, 2022, 05:26:37 AM
More lending services will probably go down but I don't expect them to affect bitcoin price significantly, if it affects at all.
Bitcoin and other alts will be affected from the fomo of closing/shutting down of these crypto related services since it catered not only those alts and tokens but bitcoin as well. But i hope not that much, we are already at $15k's doors so $14k can be a possibility too in the next few weeks.
2210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bad beginning for crypto beginners. on: November 16, 2022, 10:41:52 PM
Beginners with agenda to get rich
These are the ones who just heard crypto in an specific way/opportunity to invest, without getting enough knowledge and eager to make profit but not learn.

Beginners starting the journey with wrong projects
This is the next phase of the first one, these are also the ones who heard a lot in CT, telegrams groups, etc.

Beginners with mindset of taking crypto as job opportunity:
These are the ones who were invited on this forum to make job opportunity only, instead of making/join discussion and learn since this is a forum.
After this next phase is the 1st one (aim to get rich) then 2nd one (pursue different projects to get rich using yhose job opportunities only). After experiencing failures, bad experience, there will be a learning phase (i hope so), and taking different paths which could make them learn and ends its beginners' experience..
2211  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any Casino Android software on: November 16, 2022, 12:20:36 PM
I believe an android application will be flawless and way easier to access..
Only for a certain games that doesn't have large scale screens or nothing much graphics on it, say dice. But for other games, sportsbetting, etc. i bet i would prefer a desktop size screens for much clearer and much better user experience.

2212  Other / Meta / Re: Monthly Report Statistics on: November 15, 2022, 11:06:11 PM
What makes a report go as unhandled status and why is it not later handled?
What i know and understand is, like when user A and user B report the same post with the same description (say moving on particular board or etc.) at different time.

At the time of handling, when mod A handled the report from user A the remarks will be "Good". Then later on say a mere seconds passed, mod B handled the report of user B which is already handled by the mod A (already moved to the reported board) the report will be remarked as "Unhandled"

Well, that's only my guess, much better if a mod will give an specific example.
2213  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sanitize the Gambling Board. on: November 15, 2022, 02:13:58 PM
Sometimes those thread starter actually knows on what board does their topic belongs to, since it will be moved by mods anyway later on so its okay for them to do it. Some of them just post on particular board just to make sure that more people will see it other than on other board.
2214  Other / Meta / Re: theymos; is this a merit system bug? on: November 15, 2022, 01:17:19 PM
This most probably happens when you ignored the board where the post is. Try to checking your ignored boards then unignored the board for the moment then try to merit the post.

Here's quoted reply of theymos explaining the same thing what you experience

Permissions and ignored-boards can also cause info to be missing per-user. In this case I think that it happened because The Pharmacist is ignoring the board in which that post resides.

The ignored-boards page says, "Be advised that by ignoring a board it will be completely inaccessible to you." How it works is that almost all forum systems view you as being not allowed to see the board, just like hidden boards. This is also why you can't quote a post in an ignored board.
2215  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: when using armory dose the offline pc need to be permanently offline on: November 15, 2022, 03:27:45 AM
Not totally safe if your main purpose is to have a cold wallet.

It will be more complicated when you create a transaction, the making of unsigned tx online, signing offline, then broadcasting the transaction online. What if the computer have malware when you do these steps? It will compromised your wallet. That's why cold wallets are designed in a totally offline environment.
2216  Economy / Reputation / Re: Yahoo incorrectly label me. on: November 14, 2022, 11:47:22 PM
I like troll ia make me laugh and he take all eriusly and call me names every thread i make.
Then take the neutral tag as it is. Because instead of humbly asking to remove the tag you just do the opposite, and seems like it will be a permanent tag to you, unless months or years passed and your approach change.
2217  Economy / Reputation / Re: Yahoo incorrectly label me. on: November 14, 2022, 11:29:38 PM
Anyone can make neutral tag feedback, it's not moderated, unless it's an abusive feedback — a red tag. You can call others, and explain your side.

His feedback is not wrong though, from making people believe on your first thread then disagree on it on your another thread. So what's the point of making the first thread?
2218  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]: Laplas, new clipboard malware on: November 14, 2022, 10:48:51 PM
Basic email security to avoid malware and other malicious things should be following this.

If you see emails coming from unknown sources, delete it immediately.

Fortunately, with the use of gmail, most emails that are suspicious are moved to spam folder and sometimes they automatically delete it then tell you what email it is in a notification.

Regarding the malware, i wonder if it's both windows and android phones, same with IoS. Because most smartphone OS are invulnerable on such malware. But regardless, it should be taken seriously, either what device's OS the anyone is using.
2219  Other / Meta / Re: Account hacked on: November 14, 2022, 04:08:34 PM
In my opinion, that thread should be one thread every member who has crossed the newbie status should take seriously. People shouldn't wait until their account is hacked before they do the needful of simply staking their BTC address there.
Creating a thread or posting a staked address on that thread won't actually help if the user don't actually know the importance of staking address there. Unless it's a mandatory to make a post of signed message or staked address on that thread to every newbie and up accounts. Why also for those higher rank accounts? Because some of them still doesn't know why it needs to have a signed message posted of the user.

If you've signed a message before with your account then you're
Unfortunately, he didn't make as what he stated.
2220  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is possible to create e-bitcoin for toll road payment?. on: November 14, 2022, 12:45:15 PM
You can't make bitcoin transaction or sign transaction on those kind of cards when making payments either on tool gates, stores, or any kind if physical stores. Because there is no technology yet for that.

How it usually work is, you just load the card with bitcoin or any crypto to make it above zero balance and use the balance to any stores that accepts such card payments.

Now if you want to pay bitcoin directly to these stores at an instant rate, lightning is the most convenient way to do it.
