2201  Economy / Gambling / Re: Researching for Upcoming Game on: April 03, 2023, 01:00:49 AM
Casinos made to deceive people will not show that the casino is a fraud casino but will provide good service so that this service will fool many people. And after many people started registering and depositing their money, problems started to arise. Casinos can make excuses for updating their website so that the withdrawal process can't be done quickly. Apart from that, there have also been other cases that should have aroused suspicion among the members so they can begin to question the casino's credibility.
It is a sad truth that's happening mostly. They're too good to be unnoticed because they offer great service and they won't show some signs that they're about to turn the table and go the opposite direction because it's part of the plan. Part of it is to make themselves look like they're the best in terms of everything until proven everything that they should be trusted. I know that many casinos thrives to be at their best but fraud and fake casinos tend to do that as well to get rapport and build their trust from their customers until they find some good and hefty amount of deposits from their players, that's when the problem will start to get and then mostly it's going to be with the withdrawals. You'll notice them that they're trying to give some solutions but they're not appropriate and they're just doing some delaying tactics to make it look like you're loosing interest for the resolve.
2202  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Not about to give up hope. on: April 02, 2023, 11:53:13 PM
I don’t know about the rest but the case of FTX I would have seen it coming, the case of FTX was not all about it crashing, FTX has circumstances that lead to it crashing.

The boss of FTX made some bad decisions and took peoples funds to try to create more wealth for himself. Taking peoples fund without their consent is wrong regardless of the outcome of what he used it for. But in his case he lost big time from using peoples fund leading to a crash. This are the risk of centralized exchanges you should be watchful over.
And it won't be known that the signs were there if CZ didn't speak about it. But then it got the attention when it was been said through him. That was one of the biggest swindlings that have ever happened in a thought genuine crypto exchange in history. That crash was also due to them, I mean all of these crashes and frauds that resulted to make everyone in panic mode especially those folks that have got funds into those platforms. I know that my wish won't be that easy but it's all about that we shouldn't see anything like this more in the future but I guess that's just a wishful thinking that won't be granted.
2203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The bear market is your friend on: April 02, 2023, 11:25:51 PM
People talk about this often that the bear market is the best time to buy, true but how many people have funds left to buy during this period, not many people, and a lot of wealth got destroyed during this period, I could remember holding a token of $10,000 during the bull market and at the end of the bear market the price was $25, the price of this token never recover. This is easy to preach than to practice IMO. Just look for a working strategy that works for you and sticks to it.
That's a terrible experience if you haven't sold any from that token you've been holding and got $10k already. If I was on that shoe, I'll be quick in selling them since most of these tokens are just going to literally pump and then be dumped. Because I was once in there when things didn't go in my likes that a token pumped and I thought that it was a wise idea to keep it because it may pump some more but it all ended up the opposite way and that's to quickly dumped. It was a worst experience but that happens to most of us when we're not getting and securing those profits because we're all too confident that it's not going to happen to us until it happens.
2204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chasing looses Vs Finding closure: Any difference? on: April 02, 2023, 10:54:29 PM
Maybe he just to excuse himself from the fact that he's already addicted. People find ways to keep on going and create reasons that will justify what they've been doing in their favor in an understandable way like asking for others' approval that they're just doing it correctly and nothing wrong with it. If you want closure when you gamble, you will have not to make any agreement or such because you just want to stop. But if you want to chase your losses whether with reasons or none, you'll keep on chasing it.
2205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 02, 2023, 10:02:24 PM
I love the New York Knicks somehow finding a way to steal a win against the strong Cavaliers in their home and without Julius Randle.
Jalen Brunson, 48 monster points! Is he really that small? Grin Who else can score that much at 6'1?!
He's a beast, a low-key beast and I'm sure that is being recognized by most. I can't get over that match because I thought that the first-half shooting machine of Mitchell was already on momentum but then Brunson shows how to beat it.
The knicks are sneaky becoming a team no one wants to see in the playoffs.  They are one of the best road teams and are tough to beat back to back.  They are gritty and withstood a cavs first quarter of 47 points.  No Randle no problem.

And I'm gonna say this someone tell me I'm wrong.  Brunson was the best steal in free agency in the last 10 years.

Dallas declined extending him 4 years for $55mil mid season last year 😂
And there's this now rumor made by how good Knicks are this season and that's to acquire Luka on them. Well, I don't think that it will ever happen and I do agree that Knicks did the right thing by acquiring Brunson.
No one wouldn't want to face them in the playoffs because of how good they are and they are not overrated while we're saying this. It's just common that they're noticeably good and that's why.
2206  Economy / Economics / Re: Planning avoids unnecessary expenses on: April 02, 2023, 06:28:06 PM
Failure to plan make one a failure already. Every success made in life is from a well defined plan.
Some successes have been made by surprise but the whole process isn't a surprise & I agree that it's all in accordance with a plan.

this is because there are many temptations to spend money such as food, gadgets, to unforeseen needs such as illness or the vehicle we usually use is lost so we have to buy it again.
Food is a necessity but if you eat out and you've got no budget for it. Then, it's better to just eat the traditional way and just cook at home. Eating out can be planned but it cost some money depending on how much budget you've got from eating but usually, it's becoming more.
2207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Litecoin ever reach $1k? on: April 02, 2023, 05:28:53 PM
I can't be completely sure, because anything can happen in cryptocurrency (even the impossible can happen), but if you look at the movement of Litecoin chart, then I think there is a possibility that the price of Litecoin could reach $1k in the future, especially if the total marketcap of cryptocurrency is increase very high and Litecoin is still in the top 20, so I'm sure if the price of Litecoin can reach $1k.
There is that moment that it could reach but we've been on a bull run and it didn't move a lot. But we'll get to see if the next bull run will make it happen.
It's still one of the best coins so far in terms of transfer and I use it but I've got no longer hold of it because I've sold it already. Just as you have said, even the impossible can happen in the market so Litecoin has been one of the oldest and known altcoins and is even attached to bitcoin categorizing it as the silver btc. While two years has passed since this thread has made, we'll see by 2024 if it will.

There's a rumor and report that Jeff Cariaso might be the new coach of Blackwater. This is a developing story and news but no confirmation yet from both party. Is it possible that this farm team might come to an end as a farm team?

2209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are about to enter altcoin season, what do you think? on: April 02, 2023, 04:02:53 PM
From the historical chart and  according to recent observations, the onset of Altcoin season appears to coincide with the stabilization of Bitcoin prices. As Bitcoin's volatility decreases, traders are seemingly turning towards accumulating altcoins, indicating that we may be on the cusp of an Altcoin season.

What is your thoughts? Are you agree with the point?
Yes, I agree. Every time we're about to get into the bull run, the first thing that pumps is the altcoins. And that's why everyone is rushing to get the best altcoin they can and those projects they think will bring wealth to them by just simply being lucky. But like what everyone is doing, if you're about to get some altcoins, do not rush on it and take your time by DYOR. Because you'll never know if the one that the others are following will be successful at the beginning and by the time you're enticed to buy it as well, that might be the time that it will start dumping. So, don't be too excited about that and think about every move that you'll do in this market because volatility is an advantage as well as a disappointing thing.
2210  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance - a new problem on the horizon? on: April 02, 2023, 01:14:04 PM
Here's what really worries me in this case:
if earlier everything conditionally rested on "tax" issues, today it is a violation of the rules of the game in the global financial market, a violation of obligations to the United States, and sponsorship in essence of terrorism. Such a package of accusations can create real difficulties for binance, whose weight in the crypto market is very large. For example, the consequence of the development of the problem may be, let's say - sanctions on the BNB protocol, and the entire BNB network - simply the SEC will prohibit official exchanges from supporting transactions in this network under threat of punishment.
Is there a bail on this thing? I guess that if there is, BNB can easily get away from it. We've been seeing these chasing of issues from different exchanges within their US jurisdictions and they always get some resolution out of it.

This will obviously have a very negative impact on Binance and the crypto market as a whole.
If this goes deeper, there's for sure that it will be a big problem for them and this will give a lot of worry to their customers including me. But as of now, I'm still neutral on it but ready to pull out my funds there if urgent.
2211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme coins still a good invest? on: April 02, 2023, 12:48:22 PM
I don't want to invest in Shiba Inu coin platform. Because I have seen a pumping in the past but no more pumping in subsequent price increases. The Shibi Inu platform and road map doesn't seem very clear to me. And many platforms become inactive with website down so I don't want to invest in all these platforms.
You just better avoid the meme coins that you don't feel investing. And if you don't want to invest in it then you better not because it's important to know first what you're having with your money and where you're investing it. Shiba Inu isn't a platform but it's a token, a meme coin where you get to invest if you want to just like Dogecoin. I think the platform you're talking are those ponzi websites that have used Shiba Inu as their accepted coin.

I have invested once in the past and didn't get much profit so I don't want to take a second chance.
That's okay if you're just taking some precautionary measures since it's very important for you to decide where you invest.
2212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paying bills with digital currency cards, gift cards on: April 01, 2023, 09:56:09 PM
I walk into a shopping mall and I saw simplicity of life, that's the mall makes things easier for customers. There is several terminal machines and electronics device that calculate items as soon as you pick anything and before you're done shopping the electronics machine knew the total price already. Payment was excellently quick and sharp, you made payments with digital currency (bitcoin and ETH), gifts cards.

But you've cash like neat dollars you can still pay directly with machines or sales reps around. It will be nice see people living the streets of the world with bitcoin digital pay cards.
That's already happening and we're in the transition, soon more gift and pay cards will have an integration with bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies that's acceptable.
It's just a matter of time until we see that most of them will have these cards that we will not be needing to bring cash anymore because that's how it's going to be in the future, cashless but more with digital wallets, pay cards, and even gift cards. That's going to be convenient for most of us but I doubt that cash will be neglected even with those options because there will be people that will have a hard time adopting the transition and these new technologies.
2213  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will you advice a new trader to join a trading community or group? on: April 01, 2023, 09:31:24 PM
Hello. I think its individually. I began my journey in thematic communities and groups too. I think for beginners this is the best way to quickly and efficiently understand the topic. I have now switched to p2p arbitrage, this is a more Low-risk trading strategy. By the way, now I began to train beginners and created my own P2P arbitrage team. If anyone wants to join, welcome Grin
And that's the purpose of having a trading group, you can teach them personally but I've got a different vibe with it. It's hard to distinguish those groups that have an experience rather than just opinions that will be shared with them. Maybe it was the experience was just different and didn't went well for most of us and that's why the impression remains but I think I'll adhere to that feeling that many of these groups aren't really good. I'll agree for newbies, there's an advantage just to having somewhere to start but in the long run, it depends until the group starts asking some fees to keep going on and that's the time to start the trading journey unassisted.
2214  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Supercycle? on: April 01, 2023, 08:58:58 PM
Is it possible to have a bull run for the next couple of years? I mean more people and companies start using bitcoin often and knowing there's a limited supply of it, the demand for the crypto will go up eventually.
No brainer, yes.

Do you think it's possible considering inflation and our global economy today? I know its a very volatile asset but what do you think?
Definitely.
Financial institutions, companies, and anything related to finance will find a way to hedge against inflation. And with bad stuff and news happening in the banking scene, that's gonna make them find another way to fight the inflation and potential collapse of these institutions. I think that these companies are done studying bitcoin and they do know the cycles are happening and with halvings, they do get what's in it for bitcoin and if they do understand it correctly. That means that they don't want to be left behind by potential profits that might get in their way. Yes, it's volatile but nothing is volatile that shall give them sweet profits even gold and stocks are also volatile.
2215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your local gambling game that you didn’t see in the crypto casino on: April 01, 2023, 08:26:18 PM
I know all of those games kabayan.  Cheesy
I think what casinos don't have is our local game which is called kara'y cruz or the flip coin. Not all casinos do have it but I think I've seen one casino that has it before but it didn't flourish and that casino was already gone in a glance. Too many nostalgic games when I've been playing as a kid before, yes, in my neighborhood too many games that I thought were just games but they're gambling and grew up with it until I left that neighborhood and grew somewhere else.
2216  Economy / Economics / Re: Should you save, when you are wealthy? on: April 01, 2023, 10:56:59 AM
Probably now I am thinking that I would not like to save all the time, I would like to reach the level at which I would be a wealthy person and I would not have to worry about money, but I have no idea when I can achieve this.
When I am on my way to being wealthy, I'll keep on saving and investing at the same time. It may not be seen for now but I believe that bitcoin will play an important role in that. And if you have no idea of achieving that, take some reading about financial education or watch those videos from educational/financial coaches. They'll give you the idea of having several income streams and you can choose where you're good at and start with that chosen path you want. We can assume that when we're already wealthy, our money works for us and we still need to work for some time but we can mostly enjoy it during that time.
2217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 01, 2023, 10:13:56 AM
Something that Luka is missing, Brunson as we all know what he contributes way back with the Mavs, and now
he continues to play that level of confidence even the main Alpha is not around.

Congrats to those who backed the Knicks even Randle is not around, they've got Brunson's solid productions.

Together with his teammates they managed to survive and snatch the win against the Cavs.
Props to Mitchell but still that's not enough to win over against Knicks because Brunson was also on fire.

2218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is your best investment tool recommendation??? on: April 01, 2023, 09:14:45 AM
it depends on you want to buy gold or coins or want both but if I am with $ 1000 maybe I will buy coins like BTC and ETH when the market is bear in order to get cheap prices why I choose BTC and ETH I think these 2 coins are low risk coins
Well, we're in a bitcoin forum and this is the best crypto forum of all time so it's not gold that people want to buy here but bitcoin and any other cryptocurrencies.
Just as you, many who will have spare money will also buy the same cryptocurrencies as that's the common strategy and picks that has been so reliable and proven to be tested.

and according to my analysis 2 coins will grow and will print a new all time high at the time of the bitcoin halving or at the next bull run this is my opinion if I want to invest with $ 1000.
That will for sure gonna happen, they're like the sure cryptocurrencies in the market despite being volatile, we've got some safe haven through these two.

2220  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: ETH - 1ST QUARTER PRICE PREDICTION FREE (2023) on: April 01, 2023, 07:47:00 AM
$1800 na Ethereum at mukhang si Johnyz ata magwawagi ha.  Grin

$1,700.00 - julerz12
$1,759.00 - crzy
$1,888.88 - Johnyz
$2,000.00 - blockman

Wag mo masyadong batiin mate, baka maging iba nag resulta.
Grin

ETH looks more stable from a price of $1700-$1800.
Mukang magiging stable ang market for now after Bitcoin reaches the peak price and possible den ang correction, pero sana wala ng big change si ETH para magkaroon naman ng chance to win here since konte lang naman ang nagparticipate.  Cheesy
Cheesy
