2261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Skill Based Slot Machines on: March 28, 2023, 09:23:30 PM
I have never tried it and don't even know what a skill based slot machine is like because as far as I know, slot games are just luck based. And if you are unlucky, you lose. But if something could offer the perks of getting a spin bonus like @OP said, I suspect some gamblers are willing to try it. Gamblers will always look for something new that can provide an opportunity to win from gambling because they have often experienced defeat. Since I didn't know the type of skill-based slot machine yet, I still favored the traditional slots found in online casinos.
I don't also want to go too deep with that. Slots are better to remain as luck based and if there have been some changes made by the slots providers or any developer to make it just as skilled based game, I don't think that it will click. There's already the belief that it's a luck based game and that's the fun starts. I have not known any casinos that do have it but if there's the reinvention on this, those who wants to try, may try it if that's what you want. I'll just stick to what I've used to.
2262  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can we experience $80k this year? on: March 28, 2023, 08:53:30 PM
With this massive pump few days ago, you still doubt if the price will reach $80 before the end of this year. Since the price has moved to $28 in this month of march show that investors will surely experience high price that will make them to start releasing BTC for sale soon because, the price will increase higher than this current price in the market. Based on what is happening in the cryptocurrency market made many long term investors to believed that they will sell their coins when the price of their satisfaction come before the end of this year which it will surely come any moment from next 5 months.
The time will truly come for everyone to sell their bitcoins and even I, I've got my plans to sell when I see the price go high. And $80k is just one of the targets of many and that's close to the $100k line that everyone is thinking. If we've got a DCA strategy in accumulation, there's also the DCA type of style in selling. So, if it hits $80k then it is no doubt that many will sell at that price before it reaches to $100k and because many don't want to miss that as how many have missed selling at the peak of $69k.
2263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Tether crash to $0? on: March 28, 2023, 08:19:42 PM
Come to think of it, before this whole FTX and Binance drama begins people already have it in mind that USDT will go to zero, some are speculating that USDT will bring the next bear market to crypto, instead it started with FTX and now the banks, other stable coins are the ones affected, no single touch on USDT. This is  Cheesy Cheesy laughable.
It's a speculation but likely that it can happen if things got crumpled for Tether. With what happened to UST and Luna, the stablecoin that it has got went down to zero until there's a new launching of its new stable coin. While for Tether, it's been the most known crypto in terms of stable coins but anything can happen on it as the US dollars have been more in the circulation and there's still the issue for USDT that it have about printing issue as well.
2264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is the next altcoin season? on: March 28, 2023, 03:05:36 PM
Do we have any idea when the next altcoin season is due?
It's most likely before the pump of bitcoin, you'll hear people say that it could happen by the end of this year but nothing is certain for this year. But what's certain is that by next year bitcoin will have its halving and that will lead again for the price of it to pump which will lead to altcoin season again. The cycle sometimes isn't being followed and we don't know if that's going to be the exact time that it will pump.
Once the bull run is activated, all of the efforts being done during this phase through accumulation will be paid off.
2265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 28, 2023, 11:59:31 AM
Finally, a win for Dallas Mavericks.
I like what Coach Jason Kidd did there, use McGee if you need some height, he is in their roster for a reason so better use him. Don't just stick with Powell especially if they are up against a team whose strength is using the paint. Without Haliburton and Hield, the Pacers will surely attack the rim to get points.
Credits to Jaden Hardy too for helping out the Mavs on the offensive end.
Yeah, those outside shootings that have been done were perfect. It was most of them that have outside shooting and if they become consistent in doing it, they'll also get the shot and win against their next opponent which is against 76ers.
That was also an advantage for the Pacers that it was under their homecourt but still then, they've been blasted with outside and three-point shooting. Luka sent a lot of threes there.

Meanwhile the Joke posted a monster triple double ( his 100th ) with 25 points (8-11 FG), 17 rebounds, and 12 assists.

Well Embiid always complains he can't get MVP but if you dodge the big players all you get is 2nd place sometimes.

LOL, I also saw this one a while ago.  Grin
2266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a casino ever run without the government's awareness? on: March 28, 2023, 10:24:04 AM
Yes, it's possible.
You know that the government will just intervene when the company is quite big already. They'll do all the means to track the owners down and make the business at risk by applying such laws that haven't been seen by the developers.
If the law states that they can't do it then that's questionable because they didn't enforce it when it was just launched. But it's because the company was too small to be considered and apply the law on them. That's mostly the status of many startups and even new casinos, it's like a test and dry run for them. If it's a success, they'll be recognized and too big not to be noticed.

Oo si gcash, may gstocks na din. (https://www.yugatech.com/news/what-is-globe-gstocks/)
Hindi po ata lahat pwede mag GStocks no?

2269  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 1$ per day crypto investment plan any good ? on: March 27, 2023, 10:53:46 PM
The only thing that you'll be worried on this strategy is the fee. Transaction fees, makers fee and other types of fees when you're already in the exchange.
It's discouraging if you're going to calculate it but since you just want to be consistent on it, nothing matters as long as you're eager to do what you've planned.
We'll get more bitcoins in terms of satoshis and that's much better than having nothing. You don't know how each bitcoiner is struggling to make ends meet and if someone is doing something for his own portfolio, it should be acknowledge any strategy he does.

In fact, the plan may not be effective because transaction fees and other types of costs will indeed be a challenge for OP if implementing this strategy.
But you are right, everyone has their own way of owning Bitcoin whether it's by trading or investing or whatever way they have Bitcoin and of course each person will have a different nominal amount that will be used, the most important thing is that it must be adjusted to their abilities and it's better if they already have the desire to get started rather than have no plans to start at all.
But here what I'm focusing on is the OP's intention to want to start even with a low nominal, this is an intention that we must appreciate.
If done consistently it is good because it will build a good consistent habit of investing, while OP starts investing in small amounts he has to learn more to find more effective ways before increasing the nominal amount to be used to invest.
Right, the initiative that OP has shown is more than already for someone to have the courage to invest in bitcoin. The matter is that he's willing to do it in every way that he can and depending on his capacity. That's why if there's his will wanting to buy, he'll do everything he can based on the budget that he's got. But he has to consider those that we've said about this strategy like he needs to save all of it first before buying and it's okay if it's not going to happen on a daily basis and like maybe after a week or two or more, as long as he keeps the money on his hand and buys it bitcoin. As you've said, he has to do it consistently and he'll see the difference why we're telling people that they all have to buy bitcoin and they'll see the reason why when it goes up again.
2270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about this? on: March 27, 2023, 10:16:15 PM
I am also a Christian but our church strictly prohibits all forms of gambling because the reason is that people who become gambling addicts will only commit crimes to gamble and not everyone is able to control it
All if not the majority of Christian churches don't allow gambling, it's a sin for all of that types of churches.

however, if the church in Uganda makes sense of what the priest is doing then they really go too far, and the domino effect that will occur will truly be unstoppable, many other priests will become gamblers and close their churches
It's an act that can't be removed too quick and that's why people go to churches for them to remove vices like this. But if the pastor is the one that has it, how can those members hope to remove that vice of them if the one that teaches them also has it? It's a sad situation for those members that have been left by him but also, it's better to be seen that situation too early before it's too late.
2271  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 1$ per day crypto investment plan any good ? on: March 27, 2023, 05:10:43 PM
That's what I mean guys. $1 will not be enough to make an investment because each exchange may impose a minimum limit on each deposit which may be above $1.
And that's why he can collect it on his own and then until he reaches the minimum amount for deposit and exchange it on bitcoin. For if it will take around 10 days to complete the $10 less fee, he has to plan it well and make sure that he's doing it rightfully so that the savings that he's got won't just be taken into fees. There have been altcoins that seem to be cheap but in terms of their network fees, they're eating a lot of money from all of their users and investors. That's why if someone is still doing this strategy of DCAing for $1 daily, you save it first and then deposit it all at once like when it's big enough for the minimum deposit.
collecting each day personally and eventually building up the minimum limit to buy it into is a great way to invest. if this is done regularly then in one year we can see how much money we have invested, especially during a bearish season like today, of course we will get more bitcoins, and that means we can make a profit faster. this is better done than saving fiat in the bank because our money will actually shrink due to inflation, let alone collect it little by little
The only thing that you'll be worried on this strategy is the fee. Transaction fees, makers fee and other types of fees when you're already in the exchange.
It's discouraging if you're going to calculate it but since you just want to be consistent on it, nothing matters as long as you're eager to do what you've planned.

2272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is your best investment tool recommendation??? on: March 27, 2023, 03:34:22 PM
Gold and Coins Both make a lot of money. However, investing in gold is also considered a form of investment that is promising and can provide attractive benefits for you.
But gold isn't more volatile than bitcoin however, they're both volatile. And if I am to choose, I'll choose bitcoin over gold. No need for that much space to keep it. Because keeping bitcoin is already suited for a hardware wallet that isn't consuming a lot of space. Both have got benefits and those gold enthusiasts and maximalists will say that gold investments are the best and there's no argument for it. And for people like me that has investments in bitcoin and crypto, I'll say that this is the best investment that I've ever found. Since this thread have been made since 2021, too many things have changed in the market and the price of bitcoin is cheaper today, no brainer so choose btc.
2273  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What your opinion? on: March 27, 2023, 12:58:43 PM

Recommendation & Tips

Learn First and practice in demo and Spot account to avoid major loss,
Don't trade in the future directly.
Do not trade with Laon Money.
Be consistent, Don't lose confidence in the loss situations.
Follow the market trend, and trade with the trend to avoid liquidations.
Never lie on a single indicator, use multiple tools and indicators to analyze the market.
Dont be greedy book profit on time.
I want to add that don't believe in trading gurus. If they're the best, it means that they're full time traders and won't manage to have time for other things like editing videos and having some time to sell those courses. Because the reality is that they're selling courses for them to earn more and not to trade and earn more. That's their other source of income because it's easier to sell course than to win trades in the market because it's difficult to have more wins in the actuality of the market. So, that's why avoid those seller gurus that sells trading courses because most of their resources can be found online for free.
2274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zksync Era Mainnet launch on: March 27, 2023, 11:48:31 AM
Those that have missed the arbitrum airdrop like me, this is another project that has gathered a lot of funding and they'll also be releasing an airdrop soon.
I don't know if the snapshot was already done to test them and other details about it but since op has shared it, it's time for you guys to know more about it.
There's always these projects that are attracting users because eventually they're gonna get some users to test their network as they launch their mainnet.
But as said, it's not about forcing to get into it but just some sharing if ever wants to try it.
2275  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: March 27, 2023, 08:03:02 AM
One major difference between a rich and a poor gambler is the betting amount. Gamblers who actually have enough money are able to take big risks. But since gambling luck is one of the reasons for winning, many poor gamblers can hit the big jackpots and become rich. Even a wealthy gambler can lose money through uncontrolled gambling.
Like the one who has lost $1.4M dollars, he's certainly a rich guy that wouldn't bother to lose that amount. If I was rich, I might do that as well with confidence based on the given odds. But then, it's not always a holiday, and even if with that odd, you are unsure of the outcome of the game that you're betting for.

Above all I see no gap between the rich and the poor in gambling. Those who practice responsible gambling will succeed.
There's still a huge gap between rich, middle, and poor gamblers. I might be on the latter part and I do gamble only when I feel it and it's not always on the go. And I'm too delicate with the amount that I bet for because it's not that easy money that I'm betting.
2276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does your country tax your gambling winnings? on: March 27, 2023, 06:58:46 AM
In my country, it's mostly taxed but it all depends. If the casino says that it's all tax-free then they'll be the one to shoulder it or it's actually tax-free. But if you haven't heard any word from them that your winnings are tax-free then you know what it is, it's taxable.
That's how the gambling winnings do happen in our country but at most time, they're all taxed.

I think it is unfair if you lost say $10 000 and then suddenly win say $5000.... and then they expect you to pay taxes on the $5000 that you have won, but unfortunately that is how it is working in my country.

The online gambling provide nice bet history for you to use, but they do not want that, they are just interested in your winnings. I have heard that they are in the process of changing this, because they want to tax crypto winnings as capital gains.  Roll Eyes
I think that there's an exemption on this and there will be some rules applied so that the gambler wouldn't be shouldered a lot just because of winnings are taxable. As long as you'll be able to declare that to the bureau then I think that you'll be spared if that's the case.
2277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The bear market is your friend on: March 27, 2023, 06:32:30 AM
Yeah, Bear markets are part of the market, whether we like it or not.  Bear markets have an impact on the entire market but their target will be thwarted and even if bear market dumping occurs it is an opportunity to take advantage of to buy cheaply.  hence the bear market is compared as a mate.  There is no need to panic or panic with the bear market, but be ready to go with it.
The first timers will feel panic when the bear market has arrived but all bear markets will have their end and will be replaced by the bull market. And that's the market cycle and everyone who's been aware of that won't feel any pressure at all in the long run. There will be disappointments but that's normal as we look at it specifically at the time we're checking it. Panicking is an option and it can do little better if it's about cutting losses but if you're panicking without having your emotions controlled, you're doing the wrong thing and you're bound to have more losses because you haven't planned every time. And such, the title says that it's your friend, yeah, if you're a long term guy you'll say that it truly is a friend that you can count on for accumulating cheaper bitcoins.
2278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Games & Metaverse Category Altcoins (are there any projects worth monitoring?) on: March 27, 2023, 05:44:35 AM
Honestly, I'm done with my enthusiasm for these games and metaverse projects. Although I'm not closing my door on them, for sure that there will be some of them that shall be up whenever we are back at bull run. Too many good games to play but when there's money involved, we're looking at it as an investment and we're missing the fun. I guess it's hard to find a game that's truly fun and we're not going to think of our investment there because that's losing the purpose of it being a game. But can't blame also our minds since we've placed on with the money that we've worked hard for so, it can't ignore that fact. IMO, just try to follow maybe at least 2 or three or even 1 and look if they've got still the potential by having a good community that's supporting the game which makes the ecosystem, tokenomics and everything revolves around that project's survivability.
2279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The End of the Bitcoin Mixing Service, Should We Worry about Our Privacy? on: March 27, 2023, 05:06:36 AM
We will have to see to it that we'll see more cracking down of these mixers eventually. And while we've got some notable mixers that are rising and starting to gain traction, they might just take it down in the future but knowing when are we have no idea.
It appears to be that the authorities are only waiting for the right time until they crack down on these mixers when they become huge. But while some are in existence and not yet that big to shutdown, that's likely the pattern that they're doing. Because IMO, if they want to shut them down, they can do it to all of it if they've got leads. And that's making me think that's what they're only doing when it's got that many bitcoins already for them to confiscate.

You Philippine jokers are simply out of luck... if the US lives up to its current stupid state.

America could turn the Philippines into the next Ukraine in proxy war with China

https://www.naturalnews.com/2023-03-24-philippines-next-ukraine-us-proxy-war-china.html
The United States could turn the Philippines into the next Ukraine by using the Southeast Asian nation to fight a proxy war against China.

~snip~
You have said it so and you know what the situation is right here? Many don't seem to be aware of the state affairs of these visits that have happened in our country. And it was the total opposite of the past administration to the current one we've got. The peace and relationship between China and the Philippines were on good terms under Duterte's leadership but then it appears to be that type of relationship became lesser and lay low due to the favor that the administration is showing to the flag of the US. It's best for our president BBM to just be neutral on this and think of the welfare and status of our country because we're not really in a good area where the US can send troops as soon as possible. This is one of the latest news that I've seen that the US + the Philippines have sent 17k troops to the South China Sea where the arbitral dispute has been hot like pancakes.

America to expand military presence in the Philippines
...

Cool
And more US troop bases are about to be built in our country soon. I just wish that we won't be ending up in a war because China doesn't really like what's with it. Everyone knows that US and China aren't really in good terms with Biden's administration.  Undecided
