2282  Economy / Speculation / Re: SELL SELL SELL SELL SELL SELL SELL SELL on: September 27, 2019, 12:47:25 PM

I am also sure that many people have not sold their bitcoin since the high price increase in June-July this year, and I don't think that they will sell at the current price. halving is in sight, who have a weak mentality will sell their current bitcoin. very loss when you wait for a high price, and you never take it. but when prices are low, you sell it out of panic. chill your head,  we ever to see the rise in the price of bitcoin that ever happened when halving on 2017.

I chose to wait, and I think that this is a good moment for investors to increase the number of their assets. I might not sell the bitcoin that I have before the price of bitcoin reaches above $ 15,000.

Selling is not bad if you follow the swings in the market, but it's only to accumulate more bitcoin not to cash out completely.
If you have the nerves and the time to follow the market you need only to trade once twice a month and you can make quite a lot.
2283  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 10% ROI every day offer? on: September 27, 2019, 12:04:59 PM
Thanks for all that info Lauren. The thing with this is, even if it seemed impossible to me (10% a day), you have some hope, that you are one of the few who is going to take advantage. When you get contacted the first time with that kind of offer you think all but realistically. From now on I will of course know, but it's a totally different thing the first time.

I think the thing that saved me was the fact I already invested in Bitcoin and her offer was very suspicious, but I was hoping this was a new method and so on... You start dreaming but you shouldn't I know Smiley

Anyways this is a closed case, I hope others learn from it as well and thanks everyone for the help!

Always ask yourself, why just a random guy on internet will find you somehow and give you free money?
Same as the Nigerian prince... My cousins won a couple of millions from a lottery he never participated in, then those guys called him from Canada that they  need a his bank accont to transfer the prize but they needed some small amount to open a account. He just said, use the money from the reward to open it.. and guess what, they never called again.
2284  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: {WARNING} Cybersecurity vulnerabilities/flaws that may affect you. Up to date. on: September 27, 2019, 09:31:01 AM
A new warning to all of you who are using iPhones and have 3rd-party keyboard installed.
You can can loose your passwords, private keys and fund if you keep them on your mobile. Read the article!!

iOS 13 Bug Lets 3rd-Party Keyboards Gain 'Full Access' — Even When You Deny

Quote
Following the release of iOS 13 and iPadOS earlier this week, Apple has issued an advisory warning iPhone and iPad users of an unpatched security bug impacting third-party keyboard apps.

On iOS, third-party keyboard extensions can run entirely standalone without access to external services and thus, are forbidden from storing what you type unless you grant "full access" permissions to enable some additional features through network access.
...
However, in the brief security advisory, Apple says that an unpatched issue in iOS 13 and iPadOS could allow third-party keyboard apps to grant themselves "full access" permission to access what you are typing—even if you deny this permission request in the first place.

It should be noted that the iOS 13 bug doesn't affect Apple's built-in keyboards or third-party keyboards that don't make use of full access.

...
Instead, the bug only impacts users who have third-party keyboard apps—such as popular Gboard, Grammarly, and Swiftkey—installed on their iPhones or iPads, which are designed to request full access from users.

Though having full access allows app developers to capture all keystroke data and everything you type, it's worth noting that likely no reputable third-party keyboard apps would by default abuse this issue.

Even if that doesn't satisfy you, and you want to check if any of the installed third-party keyboards on your iPhone or iPad has enabled full access without your knowledge by exploiting this bug, you can open the Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards.

Apple assured its users that the company is already working on a fix to address this issue, which it plans to release in its upcoming software update.

Until Apple comes up with a fix, you can mitigate this issue by temporarily uninstalling all third-party keyboards from your device just to be on the safer side.

2285  Economy / Speculation / Re: SELL SELL SELL SELL SELL SELL SELL SELL on: September 27, 2019, 08:31:26 AM
So bitcoin is dying... again?

Haha I didn't sell when it was at 20 000$, then I didn't sell when it went to 3 000$ ( i never thought that I could buy again that cheep btw), later went almost to 14 000$, I still manage to HODL. Now it's at 8 000$, what makes you think I'll sell at 8k? Nothing...

The halving is just around the corner, stop speeding FUD, if you want to sell, it's your choice, sell but don't mess with the other people, everyone should be intelligent enough to make their own decisions.
You made one, than thank you for the cheap bitcoins  Smiley
2286  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CatchAbtc.com SCAM on: September 26, 2019, 08:55:31 PM
Better move this topic to Scam accusations section it's more appropriate place for it.
You can move it easily, just look down the bottom left corner for a Move button (link) and choose the right section.
2287  Other / Meta / Re: And the yobit.net campaign is back on: September 26, 2019, 08:43:46 PM
How can they be so moronic, this it probably the fourth time they try with this spam-storm requirements. I bearly reach 20 posts per week they are requiring 20 per day. I'll guess I'll be busy reporting the next few days.
2288  Other / Meta / Re: Bumping changes on some boards on: September 26, 2019, 01:40:20 PM
Seems that the marked for red trusted accounts is also wakening up. What else you can do with tagged high ranked accounts? Often those have earned some merit, and can be used for a bumping and make more bumping accounts if there is still smerit left. If you get an army of 30 accounts you can bump a thread once every day.
2289  Economy / Computer hardware / Anyone interested in old PC hardware {EU}? on: September 26, 2019, 01:18:07 PM
I have some RAM, motherboards and CPUs lying around. I'm planning to clear up all the old hardware and with the money buy me a one normal PC.

What I have are some i7s first and second gen. with motherboards.
8Core AMD CUP with Motherboard and some 1Gb, 2Gb and 4Gb DDR3s.
I don't know if there is market for such stuff here.

Will test everything before I send it.
I'll post a proper list with prices if someone is interested.

Everything will be shipped from EU.
2290  Economy / Reputation / Re: Red Trust Senior, Hero , Legendary Member Account Buyer. on: September 26, 2019, 12:18:58 PM
... Or start bumping service with those high ranked accounts, if they have merit then the bumping power will be higher and there you go, nobody cares that those accounts are with red trust.
I was suspecting that this might happen and here we have a fresh example.
2291  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Confusing personal message on: September 26, 2019, 11:11:31 AM
Hi,

I got below personal message, link in the message is not working. Is it a spam?

And is it mentioned sent to @Yamifoud? I never sent any message to anyone. Please guide.

Let me just quote the OP for reference and better overview.
This is interesting case, for those who said that he replied to someone here is how it look when you reply :

On the other hand, I just checked my history of messages and got some more examples so what I can conclude is that the message was sent to multiple recipients and Yamifoud happen to be the first one.

2292  Other / Meta / Re: Let's make Off-topic section signature-free. on: September 26, 2019, 06:33:42 AM
~
Shitposters will move around, and try to do anything they are capable of (making funny posts, pseudo-good posts) to earn a single merit to become Junior Members. They will try to do this (with their low-quality posts) as their 'efforts' to earn extra money with Junior Member rank if they fortunately make someone laugh and send them a single merit.

I don't think anyone is hunting for merit in the Off-topic section. Almost nobody with good reputation is checking the section regularly. The majority of those  posting there are for to gain activity and to spam posts for their signatures campaigns.
Of course there are good discussions there and I've seen regular members posing like OgNasty and Vod.

I don't think any of those shitposters will move to the main sections to shitpost, it won't take long before they get banned.

Woo-hoo look what I just got in my mail today:

I want to play a bit with it first and later I'll move my full node to the Pi.
Have other projects on the way so I'll need to wait with the testing and benchmarking, but when that time comes I'll share my experience with you guys Smiley

Thanks to the Bitcoin I can play with my new toy, thanks Satoshi Wink
2295  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcointalk Crossword Puzzle - Round 2 on: September 25, 2019, 10:59:57 AM
13 is actually two words separated by a underscore. 7 letters then 3 letters.
1 is also a part of your head.

See if that helps!  Smiley

There is an answer key which hugeblack has given the password for in his first post, so no need to post the solution.

*facepalm* I just saw now what hugeblack posted. Then there is no point to post the answers anymore.
Regading the 13, I would never guess what it was. There should be a tip somewhrere that you are looking for two words. Maybe the two words should be put toghter without the underscore.
2296  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcointalk Crossword Puzzle - Round 2 on: September 25, 2019, 10:12:08 AM
Damn I stuck on 1 and 13... for 1 a have a few solutions but for 13.. no chance at all.
So I almost solved it.
Nice puzzle btw Smiley

Love those ones

When I come solve it I can post the solution Wink but I'm sure someone will be before me.
2297  Other / Meta / Re: Let's make Off-topic section signature-free. on: September 25, 2019, 07:58:10 AM
All of what you're suggesting has been proposed in the past, but at this point I'd rather just keep them quarantined in the off topic section than them infecting any where else as you'll just get them shitposting wherever is easiest for them and they'll move from board to board until there's none left. The problem again comes down to shoddy signature campaign managers who don't really care where someone is posting or about the quality of those posts. If people are abusing the off topic section or anywhere else and there's specific campaigns that are paying them for this then they should be dealt with. People can make decent posts in there but the whole reason it's become a cesspool is because of the few campaigns that are allowing themselves to be abused so they should be dealt with if they're causing a problem.

OK, let them spam the Off topic, but shall I continue reporting posts abd threads there? If I continue doing so and there is no moderator assigned to the section I just keep the global mods busy with all the usless crap that was posted there? I think we need at least a own section mod.
The business in developing accounts there is dying so I suspect that all that shitposting will end soon.
2298  Other / Meta / Re: Let's make Off-topic section signature-free. on: September 24, 2019, 08:36:04 PM
Don’t think I’ve ever posted in the Off Topic section. I’ve had a quick peek in there once or twice & it’s so full of absolute shit that I don’t think most campaigns pay their participants to post there any way.
If they do then that needs to change. Off Topic is a hive for some of the shittiest posters on the entire forum.

This is a place where all the account farmers generate activity and later sell those accounts. I see no point anymore as you can sell only Newbies if you don't have a Merit Source on a speed dial and those newbies even Jr worht nothing.

Given that the Off-topic section is already a cesspool, this seems like a wonderful idea to start our purge of nonsense threads.

If there's no rank-up incentive to post there, we'll have genuine discussions, not just "what's your favorite food" or "what kind music you like?"
Since Serious discussion + Ivory tower are kind of an amalgamation of genuine off-topic + bitcoin this would be a proper way shift things towards that direction in a more public sector of the forum.

Yeah, this just feels naturally right. So let's f*king do it! Smiley I know theymos don't like restrictions but this will be a positive one Wink

A few signature campaigns don't pay for posts in the Off-Topic section, and I think that's how would approach it if I was managing a campaign.  But it is the off-topic section, and I don't see any reason to restrict a subject's worthiness.  If a manger wants to pay for posts about avoiding toenail fungus, I don't know if that really hurts the forum in general.  Sure, it may lead to sig-spamming but at least it's contained in that section.  Most of the threads in that section don't hold any interest to me, so I don't click on them.

This is the only section that it's a mess and has no moderator. See how Flying Hellfish is dealing with the Politics section, it was almost the same before that so Off-topic can be usefull.

As all of you guys said, you don't get in this section because it's a mess, but if it wasn't like it is today, you may find some interesting things there for sure.
2299  Other / Meta / Let's make Off-topic section signature-free. on: September 24, 2019, 08:14:08 PM
There is a lot of pollution in the Off-topic section. I haven't got the time to browse there last few months but I was browsing patrol and suddenly came to a post in "Why do people watch and follow sport?"
This is ridiculous. Well I kept browsing and reporting similar threads but I see a lot of people wearing signatures posting there. Somewhere I read that some sig. campaigns pay for posts in Off-topic, which as ridiculous as the first thread I gave as example.

Why don't we make the off-topic section free of signatures. Why advertising crypto in non-crypto section of the forum? Reduce a bit the spam there and assign a moderator as well?
There are some great threads there but are burred under the shit like this :

Where did you go this year?
How to sleep better?
I always feel tired

I have some additional ideas, like make restrictions like in the Ivory Tower, so no posts and activity are generated from posting in that section then the spam will Suddenly disappear from there, and all those account farmers will have to find a real job Cheesy. (i know what you gonna say, they will move to the other sections to spam, but hey, it won't be easy, i try to report shitposters every day)
