2321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice for fun or profits on: October 05, 2021, 11:13:24 PM
dice is an easy game to play. You don't even have to do anything but click the button. but when you start losing its not going to be fun. as for me, i will look for another game to try my luck like the lottery. once you try to learn a new strategy to game the game, it starts to get serious if you wanted to earn a living through it. it's still fun when you are winning but we'll see a gambler creating a new thread about how he is tricked by the house when he experiences a losing streak.

I’m not sure how many people from El Salvador use the forum but I’m guessing not that many. I think Bukeke is a legend though & his forward thinking & risk taking is going to be really good for getting the people of El Salvador out of poverty. People doubt him but I think he will go down in history as one of the best South American presidents ever.

maybe. there are already latin countries also interested to make BTC as legal tender like Brazil. these are the presidents that will be appreciated by their people whenthey do it at the right time and i think its the right time to do it while the world is also i n transistion to digitize everything.

companies now will be using the blockchain technology.

casascius bitcoin is a physical BTC, that should represent. butnwe all know BTC is meant to be a digital currency so it has to exist on the internet which today is just too big to fail. not even a government can stop it now so its not possible that we all will be uninterested to BTC and sell. its not gonna happen.

What country if you do not mind me asking lets to get off the hook for operating a illegal gambling website? AFAIK you cannot get a permit if it is illegal in that state because the people who give the permits will check where the business is located and where it is offering a service to. Even if the company and the servers of the website are located in another country where gambling is legal it is still illegal to offer gambling services to states that have made it illegal.
It's the Philippines, the illegal gambling industry here is big, one president was even impeached because they're involved in the protection of a big illegal gambling syndicate.

its not illegal in our country we have casinos in every city by pagcor. erap was just the president that time while he was playing and he got lots of enemies like duterte. its was the time when erap wage a total war against the insugents in the country which the phil arm force took over camp abubakar. many politicians got mad at him too and the media doesnt like him. he wasnt oust thru the impeachment case decison but thru the coup.

phil offshore gaming operators (POGO) is allowed in the country.

Well, in Thiago Santos case he is really a counter puncher, that is why he is waiting for Walker to strike, not an ideal style in MMA, but if this could be boxing then this could be a different story, in regards to the coach I am just speculating things, well Johnny Walker has changed his style because he now has John Kavanagh as his coach, I think there is a huge connection between the two, but as I said this is all speculation, on what has to change Walker's fighting style.
Thiago Santos and Johnny Walker are aggressive fighters who look for a knockout with every punch they throw and not counter punchers, but in this fight there were aware of their reputation and both were cautious and so is the reason it was a boring fight even though i expected to have some fireworks and Johnny Walker who usually starts aggressive was a shell of his old self and the new coaching camp did not help him one bit.

Both Thiago Santos and Johnny Walker were not willing to take any risk and we saw a fight that we could forget in no time.

Well, we all have our speculation on what happens in the fight, I really think that Thiago is a counter puncher sometimes, and he can also be aggressive, but being cautious on the ring is not really Johnny Walkers style, and you are right that his camp didn't really help him one bit if he can surely dump his coaching camp the sooner the better because I really like to see him again with his old self, but the faints might help him in other matches, but if he could see an opening an aggressive approach might be better.

Kevin Holland VS Kyle Daukaus

I have to discuss this fight and I have recently watched this, Kevin Holland a fighter that really wants to be active inside the octagon has fought on March 20, 2021, and immediately on April 10, 2021, that both was a loss, and in this recent fight a No Contest one because of the accidental clash of their heads that have knocked Holland unconscious, when I have seen how Holland handle the situation with a sportsmanship manner I have become a fan, I really like a fighter with a humble personality, I really think he can still make it when he does not stop with his career, and the way he funnily commented DC on how long it is I really think he is a humble and funny guy, I would surely love to see him fight again.

it was scary to watch both santos and walker got inside the cage,  i knew one could drop instantly but the two show they can be very careful to last til the decision. expectation not met but enjoyed it.

been a fan of holland too since the time he knocked someone while on the ground, i think he did this twice in his career in mma.

i was really expecting him to win in that match if it werent for that accidental headbutt, i think he will really win. he handled it well despite it.  we'll be seeing him again.
2326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: About Taproot on: October 03, 2021, 04:48:16 PM
We were in different bubble stage back then in 2017, different volatility, different emotions but yes, we pushed hard. I copied 2017 price action 1.5 month before segwit activation. Thats how chart should look like now:

100k+ in dec 2021. By the way, take a look how it will perfectly dance around my "bubble support line" which I which I drew about 4 months ago when we were testing 30k.
Thank you for the chart and the dance of history.

Bitcoin would not dance exactly as your chart shows in a few coming months but I am not doubtful that it will make a new all time high. It would be a waste of preparation from whales and developers for Taproot development and activation. 4 years, we have a halving event and a big upgrade. It won't make sense if Bitcoin simply test $64,000 for Taproot and won't make a new all time high.

New all time high would not be a few thousands above $64,000. If it is made, it would be x2 from $64,000.

it's still going to be a big update for taproot improves features that the community will appreciate the most especially the investors for BTC privacy improvement and scalability. it's highly anticipated next month, probably more than $64k will happen maybe this December or early next year.

a representation in the video made everyone celebrate https://taproot.watch/

2327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There is something wrong with cryptocurrencies? on: October 03, 2021, 03:46:46 PM

where did you post your number that anyone calls you to invest in crypto?  if you once answered a call and you sounded like you are a pushover, they will call you every time they find out something will make you buy.

What would happen if everybody wants to exchange for a real money?
If it is so good why there is a need for exchange rate to the real money?

if EVERYBODY did it for once maybe the price will drop filling up all the buy orders of lowballers. they should be lucky. the exchange rate is for us to determine the value of the coin. if there will be no rate, it's good as if there is no value.

2328  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance Trading Fee Question on: October 03, 2021, 03:08:54 PM
Okay I think im confusing myself.

Well if im selling an altcoin or bnb for btc... obviously the fee im paying would be in btc right since i would get btc and they deduct the btc percentage fee?
Yes, that's correct. The commission will be taken from BTC.

Again, may be you've not noticed that Binance has a way of charging commission too once you pend a trade. Whether the trade triggers or not, Binance takes its commission immediately you pend it. Even if you decide to cancel it after pending it, the commission is still taken. I don't know if it's just me or any other trader experiences that. Honestly, Binance (yes, I know it's the most trusted exchange to trade on with real trades going on unlike many other big exchanges that are peopled with bot traders) is becoming an expensive exchange to trade on. You dare not withdraw in BTC if you aren't a large volume trader because the 0.0005btc constant withdrawal charge is a killer. Binance needs to review that too but for the best of reasons best known to itself, it has left it that way.

no, they don't charge when you cancel an order. i have tried it several times that i cancel buy orders because when i see the prices are dumping, i will adjust the price of my bid to get more. nothing is taken.

as far as i know we have the option to just click that only BNB are to be taken as fees when we trade on Binance. i'm not sure if the option is offered still i have not traded on binance for a long time already.

2329  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you think about this? on: October 03, 2021, 02:39:50 PM
That situation is more on the ethical part since there's a reason why most platforms never disclose the issue on why users get banned and at the same time some sites even encourage their players to use VPN when it's against their own rules and it could put their players at risk if KYC becomes a requirement. Then again some sites do mention the reason or at least provide some proofs on how accounts get flagged with multi accounting, I remember back then fortunejack received a complaint in their thread and they provided some deposit address that was related between the two.

Yeah, that's the real issues on some crypto platforms, they never disclose the reason for banning an account, they will only said that they have some kind of evidence that the user is cheating. But the user will tell us otherwise, so it's like a "he said she said". There are some kind of arbitration though.

Anyhow, I guess it's case to case basis, whether it's ethical or morale, still the benefit of the doubt is still on the gamblers who have been accused of cheating.

the cheater will still cheat himself thinking he didn't do anything wrong. even if the casino doesn't list that as a violation, he knows to himself that he did something wrong. registering another user under your another account's ref link is not wrong in the eyes of the system but you know it's a cheat.

the casino wouldn't reveal the violation i guess because it still encourages gamblers to register. shady as they are to market their platform.

Thiago Santos vs. Johnny Walker

I guess Johnny Walker has a stylistic style that can surely pressure Thiago Santos, but I think that Thiago Santos has durability with his chin to withstand strikes from Walker and I can not say the same with Johnny Walker if Santos could catch him and land a strike on him this could end Walker, I really think that this is not going for the distance and a lot of fans are betting that it could be a TKO and I think I agree, odds for this fight is 1.65 for Thiago Santos and 2.30 for Johnny Walker that is why I will go with the hype and I really like Thiago Santos personality that why my pick is Thiago Santos.

Antonina Shevchenko vs. Casey O'Neill

For this, I surely don't have any clue about Shevchenko and I am pretty skeptical if she is a pure striker or turning to be grappler because there are fights that but Shevchenko is good at striking, and for Casey O'neil she is a better grappler but not that good with striking but I may be wrong because she might improve that with her training and could get on par with Antonina Shevchenko, and if she does then she is an all-rounder for this event, but she is a good Grappler in this division, and so the odds are, 2.85 for Antonina Shevchenko and 1.45 for Casey O'Neill, I really like the fight on the ground for O'Neill and I think this is what will pressure Shevchenko that is why I will go with Casey O'Neil with this pick.

Thiago Santos vs. Johnny Walker is gonna be a match fight. i'm a fan of walker though, he is also bigger than Santos. it's just a matter of who gets to throw and hit hard and throw a volume of punches after. i'm not seeing this fight to end on the ground so someone must really drop dead.

Antonina Shevchenko vs. Casey O'Neill, the young O'Neill is likely to win but i'm not betting in this fight. been following Kevin Big mouth so will also bet for him. he has to win this time, it's going to be 3rd time. Dana will give up on him if he continues to lose, this got to be a motivation for him to win.
2331  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Bitcoin an independent property? on: October 02, 2021, 03:04:19 PM
If you put Bitcoin in a wallet address and declare that it is your private property before marriage, it will still be your asset after the divorce.
If you use Bitcoin to pay for something, then it is a common property.
The best way is to write a prenuptial agreement before marriage, but for your wife, she may suspect that you do not love her.

You have said a very simple response that I think is reasonable.

OP from your post you wrote like you want to know the situation and if you want to get married you can make the agreement so that your husband will know it but it is not nice to begin thinking of splitting your property when you are not married. However when you think you don't trust your partner, you can put a public will about your bitcoin and your both families know it. In the eyes of law it depends on the law in the land about bitcoin.

i actually think OP is already married and wants a divorce. falling out of love too quickly i guess, if you have children is going to be a big problem for him. freedom is hard to get when a person has imprisoned himself.

all i can say is that be honest to her and give her what is rightful. whether you love her or not this time but the law says she has to have something.
2332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "cash in, cash out" on: October 02, 2021, 02:50:22 PM

it's true that most of the people who come to crypto expect a very high profit especially because they only wait for the bull market to come just like what happened in 2017. those who got disappointed in 2018 may still be here cashing in and out but i don't see the greater effect except they really add the volume in the market which is now more than $2T industry. majority of the new investors have the intention of making money as their objective. isn't this what goes on in forex and stock market too?

this is what made bukele more famous so he hast to tweet whatever is the update if they have gotten just 0.00001BTC with this volcanic energy, he'll announce it because he initiatives this project. they don't have to pay for this electricity, i guess more BTC airdrop from the government?
2334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The misconception when buying/investing in Bitcoin on: October 01, 2021, 02:27:53 PM
having just 1 whole BTC is just better than having 0.03BTC. even today i wanted to have at least 32Eth while in reality i onky have 1.04Eth left. odd number just dont make me feel good. 😁

newbies knew they can buy just 0.0003BTC if $15 is just what they can afford but having
6 ADA sounds alot bigger than having just 0.0003BTC. the brain tricks its own that misconception  persist.

it could be just the start of the month. after a week it may dive to 40k again.

or perhaps the news update. i was reading just the headline of the news, it was jerome powell who said "they will not ban crypto". i guess the investors thought they are guaranteed. maybe they really won't.

you think gpu will be cheaper when bear market happens?

the supply of gpu is probably not reaching to its destination right now because of covid.  shipping lines are disrupted and all stocks are stranded on the ships. i think the bull market will continue to last even after 2022.
2337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: October 01, 2021, 01:20:22 PM
I think Donaire will retire right after he can fight Casimero, but if that does not happen sooner then I think Donaire will step down as a professional boxer like Manny Pacquaio did. Given the age Donaire he's the most likely retiring few years from now after Manny Pacquaio.

But let's look forward to this all Filipino fight showdown soon after this mandatory fights that the WBO ordered.
What??? I don't think that will be the case or worst is "they won't fight at all". His retirement has been a talk even way back 2015 I guess but doesn't happen yet and I guess the one that making the noise is when he makes a rematch with Inoue and if that happens by the next year then I'm expecting that year will be his retirement year too.
Donaire would only retire if he loses against Inoue in a rematch, the fight between Casimero is unlikely to happen as these two does not agree to fight anymore, they are just chasing their opportunity to fight Inoue, hence they should win their mandatory fight in order for that to happen.

We can't say that Casimero vs inoue will not happen. This scenario is still open, if they win against their mandatory, they could set it up again in the future.

One thing this boxers are specially Donaire, already in the twilight of his career, is to go for more lucrative fights before he retire. So Donaire vs Casimero or Donaire vs Inoue can be the biggest potential fight in this weight class.

Filipino vs Filipino, I guess it would only generate a little crowd since the fight will likely take place in the USA, and what happen to the Donaire vs Casimero issue, the "disrespect thing", I guess these two will not anymore fight each other, so it's better to see an Inoue fight against any of the two Filipino champions.

they still can talk trash on  twitter forever until pacs and allah promotion will give them a chance to finally vent it out physically. it really is bothering sometimes when you speculate already that it will be a good action pack fight but disappointing to learn its not going to realized.

i believe theyd regret not pushing for their match. its not casimero thats interested.

nothing  can be done for them to stop scamming, they come back over and over. it will take up your resources and time. since your counter attack will affect the rest of the people, host and other websites when servers are down, you end up disturbing other businesses too.

posts in this forum i believe have helped a lot of people aready especially if those individuals do their DYOR and led here to the negative reviews about the websites.  i'm sure the scams had educate people as well because by then they know it exist not just offline.
2339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting to begin this Thursday in Connecticut on: September 30, 2021, 02:44:07 PM
I don't know if this is a good or bad impact that gambling is legalized in some countries. I'm more looking for what would be a solution and reassurance from people who seem to consider this a form of losing bets. There is absolutely no guarantee of any kind once everyone has started gambling. Even if there is a launch, will the government there only think about the level of income? and the effect later tends to be that the behavior of people who were originally dominant are less interested in gambling, even more wasteful when gambling has been legalized.

a launch like this will often make the area business friendly, it will attrack more people to open their business nearby and make a living. resort casino in my country have been the busiest even after a week where there was a shooting spree.

but this resort will probably not allow unvaccinated individuals to come inside.

the crypto traders in the country expects these to happen probably a long time ago. i would also hide away from the governments survellances because of their stance to crypto if i were them.

using tor or vpn is an option but which exchange are they trading? the only dex today that suddenly make a good comeback is the dydx. are they the cause for its climb among the dex rank?
