the inflation makes it risky to hold the stablecoins. they may look like the value has gotten stronger compared to the value of your local currency but the purchasing power is not getting stronger.
you may have to start buying BTC or any altcoins you prefer because this could just be the hedge for that inflation. stablecoins are not for long-term saving but Gold and BTC.

I have a discussion with a close relative about online gambling and he said something that about how he hate gambling online because it's too addictive, he claimed real life casinos are better and less addictive because he will have to drive down to Las Vegas to gamble or drive down to a local casino and this still takes some physical effort and it discourages many people from frequenting gambling.
He said with online gambling it's available on through mobile phones and you can play at any time, this means no shortage of gambling around the clock and no shortage of losing money as well, you can easily pull out your phone and gamble with any free time, a bit compulsive and too accessible.
What do you think about this claim? Is he right or wrong?
For me it's just the same though, and as far as Las Vegas goes, the last time I was there, a lot of slots machines are place in strategic places not just casinos. So in a case you don't need to drive or travel to the Strip to play slot games, it's everywhere there. And once you are addicted, even though how far the casinos are, you are going to travel no matter what time of the day it is. I'm talking about my experience before, when I was so addicted that I will even skip office or go to casino office hours to play and gamble. So it doesn't make any difference in my opinion. online is more accessible for everyone, all they need is a phone and money. and when they feel lucky, they will play. there are several casinos that can just be installed and they are good to go. no need to travel somewhere but sit around a corner. the addiction is still the same, you'll travel to gamble whenever you think you can win back the money lost. but with the online casino option, even with just $10 left in the account, the addict will still bet it. |

Unless the majority of the world abandons the US Dollar, China will still be dependent in using it for foreign trades. Only a few select countries are willing to trade goods in exchange for CNY, and the rest of the world still deals with USD a lot. Even if they were the first one to introduce the digitization of their currency, most of the success of their CBDC will still be dependent on the amount of people willing to use and receive it. They can force their people to use it as long as they like, but outside of China, it'll be a hard task to do that since there really isn't any incentive to use digital Yuan just yet.
both countries need the market with each other, and they both dependent on each other despite the rivalry. even when countries are already dedollarizing, they will still need to trade with the US since most of the product buyers are Americans. and also the CBDC of China seems to be flipping, many Chinese are not using it but thier alternatives like the alipay and wechat. |

^ every country has a government-sponsored lottery which helps the government. when the government couldn't generate enough collection, they legalize things to raise funds. i bet in this economic downturn there will be more illegal stuff that will be legal.
a bit of hypocrisy but this doesn't happen in Japan only. many countries around the world made gambling illegal but casinos are in every city.

You can use AI like this also, You can use AI as a validation or a second opinion to your chosen bet. You will put an additional work from doing it but the chances of you winning also increases given that you have an AI opinion. It's like your bet is backed by a compilation of data, Which AI is most likely doing since it rely on the data you are feeding it. Knowing that you have a great chance of winning also makes your inner self kicks a strong sense of confidence that can be undeniably make you bet more than what you are planning to do.
Same with how I see it, though we still needed to consider that there are luck factors and there's also fixed matches where AI won't be able to read from the data that he will be using, we should always consider that in anyhow we will be victims of those match fixing and even how high the chance that we and AI will provide the outcome might be on the other-side. That instinct of adding the amount of our bets, it will be triggered as we can't deny the fact that we wanted to win a more human instinct that's always inside us, can be good if we win but worse if things went to the other side. You will not be able to know fixed matches most of the time neither, it would be quite troubling to learn it beforehand for us too, to know how dirty football could become, or any other sport, but if you know about it then you do not need AI. This is more about AI being able to read every single data, and we can't, and in that regard AI could give points to every single situation, even a player with enough yellow cars that may get penalty for getting another one, so possibly playing less aggressive, it could consider even that much in detail, and we rarely can. This is why AI "could" be better than most gamblers, because it would consider these, I personally don't, I just gamble whatever my gut feeling tells me. it would take a higher AI with emotions involved to see a mismatch or perhaps just the odds itself where AI can see it as a fixed match. but people will not look at it as a fixed match, we can only say it's an upset fight because we are fixed on seeing the bookmaker's favorite to win. when the underdog wins, the AI will never foresee it. but definitely, the AI or any other sports picker will predict which team has a high probability of winning. |

Curious , do you think one deserves prison more as the other, one doesn't deserve prison? Both should be there? None should? Both of them deserve equal punishment. Life imprisonment is the best for both. But if you ask me personally, silk road was more deadly than ftx, many might have different opinions though  I heard Ross was even involved in crimes like "paying for murders"?! That’s what the movie Silk Road told us, but would it be truth? i saw the documentary about it. it could be that it's just the story they tell. the issue with Ross is that with Silkroad market going on, it's making the authorities powerless so they have to take him down. freeing him will also make people think the penalty is nothing. but sure i will still vote for him to be free since he created something unique than FTX. |
