2321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ADA VS IOTA 2018 on: March 22, 2018, 10:05:32 PM
Cardano.ADA is another smart contract platform similar to ETH.The basic purpose of ADA is to use block chain technology to bring banking systems where they have previously been to expensive to implement specifically to developing world.Ada is currently traded at a low price and is easily affordable.Investment in ADA and to hold it for long term would be extremely profitable.

IOTA. MIOTA addresses the transaction fees and scalibilty issue of block chain technology by getting rid of block and chain. In MIOT there is no need of miners to power the network.MIOTA promises free fast transactions. It would facilitate whole machine to machine micro economy.

So both the technologies in both coins are worth of importance and developers are working constantly behind them.Currently both are traded at low prices and investment in these two coins would be highly beneficial and hold them for long term when they would be at maturity level then price would be immensely high.

LOL

How do you figure these are traded at low prices?

How does being in the top 5 mc mean they are cheap ?

more noob trash spamming this over priced junk

Any reason why you are claiming it as a junk?
IMO, its one of the great coin because it has a team which go through a Peer Reviewed session
It will be more decentralized compare to most other coins in this case

But yeah, overprice in Crypto doesn't make sense if Ripple could hit $1 Cheesy

The latest and greatest is only that for a few moments in crypto

The initial distribution jap only looks suspect. Looks narrow and open to gross manipulation.

How can you have a decentralised trustless crypto distributed like that. I've seen many its going to be great because of bla bla over the years here and always before its released there is another its going to be even better because of bla bla bla.

When I see 99% noobs spamming and shilling it on the main board constantly I also get alarm bells

but how will i sending immediately over the internets tangible value for my goods i wanted to order from other side the world??

this is internets money pal

we are all living in a simulation apparently where tangible is merely a matter of perspective

get with the times

If we all asked for the tangible value of our current fiat at once you  would find that little would be delivered to each of us.

It is no longer backed by gold and is just a faith based system too.

You could argue that golds value is faith based.

The only real things you need are food, water, shelter, and pussy. Trading in anything else is a leap of faith of eventually trading back into those things at an advantage.

Again, numerical values are NOT money, they are abstract mathematical objects. Money is either commodity or legally binding instrument that provides its holder with legal path to goods or services. If you give an iPhone to someone as a gift and then you mark this gift by writing a number into the computer's memory, this number won't magically become money. It's still a number. If you send it to someone, or record it on blockchain it is still... a number. Creating, transferring and storing numbers has nothing to do with money. Money is not based on faith but on legal obligations. Borrowers are legally obligated to use money for their loan payments. Legal obligation is not faith, but a duty that is enforced by a court of law. You are like a member of some crazy cult with this vehement denial of reality.

I'm not sure about this vintage distortion of reality you are clinging too

legally binding , courts of law with regard payment and receiving goods/services??  that's all useful but I'm sure most would like to see less need for such things anyway.

We are trying to build a decentralised trustless end to end arena here.

Those mechanisms you mention will soon be obsolete or greatly reduced in their role.

Double Deposit Escrow and a trustless end to end (for real currency) will obliterate the squabbling and need for middle men or centralised authorities sorting out your personal shit. The entire point is that there is not need at any point for trust so you should not be in a position not to receive your goods or services for your magic internets money.

Before we reach that stage I am not even sure why you would assume if amazon offered btc as payment and you bought an item there and paid in BTC you would have no legal right to ensure you received goods or services.

Perhaps I am not grasping your  point or else your point is soon to be pointless.

If BTC can serve as a better alternative to "money" in that i use it and get what I want.. then why even clutter the board with this kind of nonsense.

You could argue that golds value is faith based. Try eating or drinking it try building a shelter or fucking it. (both possible I guess )

The only real things you need are food, water, shelter, and pussy. Trading in anything else is a leap of faith of eventually trading back into those things at an advantage.

Things obviously do not have to be tangible to have value

Would you rather watch a bunch of 0 and 1 generate images of a hot model getting dp in vr or have some tangible dog shit rubbed in your eyes

Information is very very valuable i hear and it is not tangible in all cases.

Value is about survival then perception.

Tell me ... what is real..

2331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN - [BEE] - 2014 -2018 - BEE COIN - the original BEE === on: March 20, 2018, 04:15:24 PM
has anyone got a fully synced bee (3) wallet and if so can you post some nodes?

I don't think there is a fully synced bee chain yet. I believe the 20000 blocks is all there is

I set 20000 blocks as a trial, staking tx have to mature which means blocks have to be initially mined until the staking weight starts to support the network. PoS didn't kick in as I expected so I guess there's something that I don't yet properly understand but then again the network consisted of just three of my machines and PoS alcoins can get really cranky with small numbers of nodes. I need to look again at the code.

Cheers

Graham

I did notice palmdetroit is back in the game and I did ask if he may be interested in helping out a bit. I think he said he had collaborated on a project with you before and maybe he can take a look at the pos side and see if he can see any bugs. I think he is familiar with pos from PHS.

Thanks for all you have done so far graham these things do take a lot more time and effort that people actually understand cbx is still getting their code straight  and have 2 devs on it. Good design and code takes a lot more effort and time than people sometimes understand..

Also next time if you announce ahead of time a date and time to start testing we will get a few community members to sync up and try to start pos off at the same time.

2333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How did you prepare for the next bloodbath? on: March 20, 2018, 09:17:41 AM
I certainly hope that before the next blood bath there is a bull run. I will sell off my altcoins and bitcoin (if I have any)  for USDT. And when the blood bath is over I buy the favorable coins back and hold till they moon again..

then tether implodes whilst you are holding it

Well shit... Looks like I've lost all my DT Token/Jio in swaps that I didn't keep up with.  Figured this was a dead coin and I was out all of my money anyway... But is it actually alive?  If so, anything I can do to reclaim my 390k tokens?

so these dt tokens on bittrex are now rendered useless? some shady swap happened ?
