2341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 29, 2021, 03:29:05 PM
On Friday evening, Cologne will play against Greuther Fürth. Another chance for Cologne to win and get another 3 points. The goal for Cologne remains to collect points quickly in order not to play against relegation. At least that is the statement of coach Baumgart.

It's always good if you stay on the ground and only think about the important goals and don't start dreaming of the europa league or even the champions just because your team did perform surprisingly well in the first 6 matches. If they should lose 3 games in a row now then they would pretty quickly be close to the bottom of the table soon. So reminding your own fans that you will probably stay on position 7 for the rest of the season is always a smart thing to do as a coach, because you don't want the fans to boo you just because you lose a few games, if those are even real fans then. Same goes for Freiburg i hope they stay calm and don't start dreaming of bigger things but i am pretty confident that stuff like that won't happen witch Christian Streich.
2342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is coin or token burning? on: September 29, 2021, 03:24:47 PM
Coin burn results:
The result of burning coins is that they will reduce the amount of coins from the supply.  As a result, the supply of that coin will decrease and the price of the coin will increase. We all know that 50% of the bnb coins were burned.  And as a result, the price of bnb coins is much higher now.

I am a really big fan of projects that have some kind of token burn implemented in their tokenomics. As you already said binance is great example for what happens if you have an already good project with a token that has a use case and on top of that you even have a token burn mechanism that will gradually decrease the existing supply of the token. That doesn't mean though that a token burn mechanic is automatically guaranteeing that the price of the token will rise. Just look at all those meme-coins that came out a few months ago, a lot of them had a token burn included in their tokenomics but today 99% of those projects are dead despite that.
2343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: September 29, 2021, 05:46:53 AM
Yesterdays matchday really had some great games to watch and also delivered a huge surprise with the win of tiraspol against real in Madrid. I guess no one expected that to happen and every tiraspol Fan that betted a few bucks on the win of his team for fun has made some nice profit now. It just became obvious that this real team is just not the same as it was a few years ago. Just like Barcelona they had to sell important players for financial reasons and yesterday we saw the result of that.
2344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: September 28, 2021, 04:12:49 PM
In the most interesting PSG - Manchester City match I bet on a draw, although none of the results of this competition will surprise me. PSG has been doing below its capacity in the matches so far. They win matches in the league, but they get tired in them, and with the current composition they should simply destroy their rivals. The victories are mainly due to the individual skills of the players. City as a team is better than its rivals and in this I see as their chances today.

A draw seems like a very likely outcome of this match to me too. I mean so far Paris has not really performed as well as most of us expected and even messi is not playing that incredible yet. I would guess the main reason for that is, that they are just not that motivated in the french league and therefore don't really go all out there and of course all 3 of those world class defenders do almost nothing to help their team defensively which is a huge disadvantage for PSG. I think though that Messi, Neymar and Mbappe will be extremely motivated today and really want to show the world how good they can play together, so it should be a very close game.
2345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitfinex Today Spent Almost $23.6 Million Fees For a Single Ethereum Transaction on: September 28, 2021, 04:09:39 PM
Today Bitfinex Exchange transferred 100000 Usdt from one of their main wallets and for this transection Bitfinex spent 23.7 million $ ( 7,676.619078292762408538 Ether).

Here is the Transection ID : https://etherscan.io/tx/0x2c9931793876db33b1a9aad123ad4921dfb9cd5e59dbb78ce78f277759587115

Still now This is the largest Ethereum Transection Fees ever paid in dollar terms.

And The second highest Ethereum Transection fees paid in June 2020 worth of $5.2 million.

Wow. Do we know how this could happen yet? Was it a mistake of a employee of Bitfinex that just added a few additional numbers at the end of the Gas price  Smiley? I mean 100k $ is a huge amount of money so i can imagine that big exchanges like bitfinex are not just going with the default settings in terms of gas price and that they are manually entering another gas price. So i can imagine that this was the reason for this extremely high gas fee. So i think they just added those additional numbers by mistake and they actually intended to use a gas price 53 gwei instead of 53.000.000. It's interesting though that this transaction actually went trough which means they really had 23 Million dollars worth of ETH in their wallet.
2346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 28, 2021, 10:59:44 AM
Apparently, Fati and his agent met with Barcelona's representatives and they seem close to agreeing a new long-term deal. With Pedri also willing to extend, it seems like Dembele will be the one that will leave next season.

He had a really horrible time there and will probably want a new challenge, Barcelona will want to keep him as well because he's still young and has some value on the market but they will probably be unable to afford extending with all 3 players in the same year.

I know Klopp was a fan of Dembele, Liverpool needs another attacking option. Maybe it would not be the worst deal Liverpool can make.

Dembele going to liverpool seems like a viable option to me for all 3 sides involved. Barca can spare his pretty big salary and they desperately need to save money because they have over 1 B€ of debts. Ousmane Dembele himself will probably be happy if he can leave Barcelona because he never seemed to be really happy there. I also think that he could be a real help for liverpool, because Klopp has proven time and time again that he can also work with players that are pretty sensitive. Kagawa, Sahin and Götze are great examples for that, all of them played absolutetly great under Klopp but could not reach that level with other teams and coaches.
2347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How To recover Lost Transactions in cryptocurrency?? on: September 28, 2021, 10:53:15 AM
IF we send wrong Transactions to anyone who we can recover it??

Like some others in this thread already said, if you sent it to a valid address that is also in the right network and so on, but you just copied or typed in a wrong address by mistake and the transaction goes through then there is sadly nothing that you can do on your side anymore. If that wallet belongs to an exchange and you copied the wrong address of the exchange lets say for example you sent your Ethereum to the address for an Ethereum token instead but within the same exchange, then there is still hope. You need to contact the support of the exchange in that case and hope that they are willing to help you.
2348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: September 28, 2021, 08:14:27 AM

Ajax against Besiktas and Dortmund against sporting these both matches look like one-sided because both home teams in very good form, and they can destroy them very easily.

I am not so sure about your prediction of the Dortmund vs. Sporting match. Dortmund has lost their last game in the Bundesliga against Gladbach with 0-1 and during that whole game they did not manage to produce a single shot on the goal of Gladbach. The main reason for that was probably that both Haaland and Reus could not play on Saturday. According to the latest news it is also not clear if both can play in today's match and i think even if they can play they won't be at 100% and both can probably not play for the whole game. So i personally see pretty big chances today for Sporting to achieve a good result in Dortmund.
2349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is easier? on: September 28, 2021, 08:06:48 AM
To those who are trading consistently, I would like to ask you based on your experience.

Which is easier in making a profit, riding with the hype, or waiting until the price will dip?

Most people say that don't buy when the market is bullish, just wait until there's a price correction and the price will dip.
So with your experience, I like to know which is more effective between the two.

It's hard to give a clear answer on that because both strategies have the potential of huge gains but also of course of huge losses. I personally would never buy into big and established projects like Ethereum, Solana, Polkadot, Cardano, Cosmos etc. while we are already in a Bull market for a couple of weeks or even months because then the prices are just way to high and a correction will happen pretty soon. If you are very early with riding the hype then of course you can make some nice profit but to do that you need to be very well connected or just be very active in the social media to be aware of all the news that are coming in every day.
2350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No vaccine no entry Casino house! on: September 27, 2021, 11:32:56 AM
I was faced with real-life situations in my city over the weekend, I visited a casino house close to my residence to have some fun time but on getting to the casino gate I was stopped by security at the gate and they demanded a covid 19 vaccine card which I don't have at the moment and I was denied entry I felt embarrassed but I have no option than to turn back. Is the situation the same in your neighborhood?

Here where i live the hotels, restaurants, shops and also casinos can decide for themself who they are letting in and a lot of them chose only to let in people that are either vaccined, cured or tested. I went to a restaurant two weeks ago and there we had to show our vaccination cards otherwise we would have been not allowed to get in. It is not mandatory to be vaccinated in my country but if more and more public institutions, shops, bars, restaurants etc. are demanding from you to be vaccinated or tested then you basically have to get a vaccination because otherwise you can not do anything anymore because if you get tested everytime it will become pretty expensive.
2351  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ¿What altcoin is good for beginners? on: September 27, 2021, 11:28:34 AM
When we are going to get involved for the first time with the crypts, we usually have doubts by ignorance and we feel overwhelmed by being inexperienced in this complex crypt. Which project crypt considers that it is the best for beginners? Especially in terms of ease of processes, security and features that facilitate accessibility.

From an investors perspective i would say the safest bets for beginners to invest in are the altcoins that are already established and are already popular like Ethereum, Polkadot, Solana, Cardano and other projects like that. With them you don't have a high risk of completely losing your investment because you don't need to be afraid of a rug pull here or that the project will completely die. If you are an investor that chose the crypto space because of it's extremely high potential profits then you should probably pick newer projects for you investments. There you have still the possibility for a X100 of your investment, but of course it is also possible, that you lose everything with those projects.
2352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 27, 2021, 08:46:14 AM
who the next coach after Koeman?
as we can see, Barcelona is not good, I read the rumors about Ronald Koeman will be replaced soon, but I still don't know who (rumors about Xavi and Martinez). Both (Laporta and Koeman) have Met in-plane for discussing Barca's future after lost vs Cadiz. On another place, Alsadd blessing Xavy for go to barcelona, but is just a rumor, I also don't understand if there can be a change of coach in the middle of the season?.

https://www.espn.com/soccer/barcelona-espbarcelona/story/4482150/barcelona-president-fires-warning-about-ronald-koemans-future
https://www.marca.com/en/football/barcelona/2021/09/25/614ef1f922601d771c8b456a.html

It is true that Barcelona is not performing well at the moment, but i also think that this was to be expected after they had to sell messi because they are over 1B $ in debt, which is a huge number. I don't follow the La Liga that closely but i saw the match of Barcelona vs FC Bayern in the champions league and there it was obvious that this is not the Barcelona that i was a few years ago. Yes they still have a few great players with potential like Busquets, De Jong, Dembele and coutinho but the overall squad is just not strong enough. In the game against Bayer they substituted in a 17 and a 18 year old if i remember correctly. So i don't think a new coach will change that much.
2353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Nft hype-cyvle is over? on: September 27, 2021, 08:41:27 AM
I've been following crypto this recent days and I am surprised about the amazing hype of NFTs, some of the NFTs are selling for unimaginable amounts of money, and many have become millionaire because they are being early or by being part of the minting process.

However, September has not been as wild.

According to Alex Thorn, from Galaxy Digital, NFTs daily trading volume has continuously declined every day after the start of September. What does this all means? Is the NFTs hype- cycle is over?

In the end those NFT's also need a use-case because if you can do nothing with them why should you buy them. Of course a use case in this context is also that the NFT is rare and that it has value for collectors so that it maybe rises in prices if you are holding it for some time just like "real" art does too, but i don't think that this is the case for most of the NFT's that are minted at the moment because it seems to me that every project is releasing NFT's now even if it makes no sense.
So i think that NFT's are definitely here to stay and if the NFT's are good, like from a good artist or a big company and if they are rare, they will always sell and increase in price, but if they are not then why should someone buy them?
2354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worthy Airdrops on: September 26, 2021, 03:01:48 PM
Have joined hundreds of airdrops and have learned something which I would like to share with you as many seems to waste their time on shityy airdrops which tbf aren't even worthy of being called airdrops.

Significant value airdrops did not ask for much info or tasks.

These projects stayed true to what 'airdrop' really is. Only asked for the address so they can send you token, tho sometimes there were requirements to prevent sybil entries.

No follow to tens of social links and other social media bs, didn't attach $ value, no sign up, no lucky winners, no referral shite, and oh, no KYC.

You are right that a "real" airdrop should never require you to do a follow on twitter, retweet the pinned tweet, join the telegram channel and to do other social media stuff, because that is not the definition of an airdrop, at least not for me. The sad truth is though that airdrop like you describe them are not happening anymore in todays cryptoworld, because almost every so called airdrop requires some social media activity for you to be eligible. The dfinity airdrop back in 2017 or 2018 was a real airdrop in my opinion because you had not to do any social media stuff, but then on the other hand you had to make a KYC to be eligible.
2355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] JOSHUA vs USYK on: September 26, 2021, 11:31:45 AM

I am not surprised that Usyk won. Big muscles did not help Joshua. More faster and technical Usyk outboxed him. Where Joshua make 1-2 punches, Usyk make a series of 10.

Joshua is positive that he can still get up on this defeat and he wants to get back to the gym and train again and see what went wrong, there's a possibility of a rematch but I want Usyk to fight on the winner of the Fury - Wilder fight so we can have only one heavyweight champion, we all thought it's going to be easy for Joshua but Usyk proves us all wrong, it's a great achievement for Usyk who was a cruiserweight champion.

I was very surprised to see that Usyk was pretty much outboxing Joshua over the course of the whole fight and Usyk never seemed to be really in danger of losing this fight, so huge congrats to Usyk for his performance and for becoming the new triple champion. He managed to pretty silence the 60.000 british fans which is a very hard thing to do so he totally deserved to win this one. I was unsure if the judges would really give the win to Usyk because everyone knows how many shady and not comprehensible decisions of the judges we have already seen in boxing, but thank god they made the right decision.
It will be interesting to see, if Joshua can recover from that.
2356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How you invest ? when you lose ? on: September 26, 2021, 11:24:02 AM
Hey
im talking about investing in BTC, Altcoin and shit coin
how you invest? like 50% BTC/ETH for long time and 30% alitcoin and 20% shit?

and a general question:
Why people get upset when, for example, bitcoin goes from 42 to 41? they know it will increase to 50, so There is nothing to lose. Their money is safe. I do not know the meaning of loss in this situation

My portfolio consists only of altcoins and by that i mean relatively new altcoins. So i don't own any of the big projects like ETH or Sol or stuff like that either. I know that most of the forum members in here will probably think that this is a bad idea. The reason why my portfolio consists only of relatively new projects is simple. I am pretty new to the crypto space and i don't have enough spare FIAT to buy 1 BTC or 10 ETH or stuff like that and i just don't want to buy 0.1 BTC or ETH. I am also not sure if there is still room for another x10 for BTC and ETH, that is why i put my FIAT into pre-sales of new projects and so far i am in the profit zone so it could be worse.
2357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 25, 2021, 05:36:53 PM
The first half of the match of Gladbach vs. Dortmund is over now and i have to say this match is no beautiful to watch at all. We are seeing a lot of action in the middle of the field but almost no chances are created on both sides. Therefore it was quite logical that the 1-0 lead of Gladbach was more of a lucky coincident than a really well performed offensive play. The second yellow card against Dahoud seemed to be very hard for me, because he did not received it not for the foul but for his gesture after the referee called foul and to me that gesture was really not that bad. I assume the ref was not aware that Dahoud already had a yellow card when he gave the second one.
2358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of meme coins like dogecoin, dogebnb, shib, etc. on: September 25, 2021, 05:32:00 PM
Leave your comments below.  Wink

I voted "memes have no future" but i think we also need to differentiate here a bit because i am pretty sure that Dogecoin is here to stay and will still be around in 10 years. If it will still be a top 10 coin in terms of market cap is another question but i am pretty sure it won't die, simply because it was the first of it's kind and therefore has a huge advantage over all other meme-coins. Shiba Inu also has a chance to survive in the longterm, but that is pretty much the only second generation meme-coin that i think will survive, because in the end they have no use-case at all. I am also pretty happy that the meme-coin hype has died out already again because that was not good for the whole crypto market.
2359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 25, 2021, 09:58:25 AM
So Bayern won their match yesterday against Greuter Fürth like probably everyone expected but it was not the total humiliation for Fürth that many feared. In contrast to Bayern's game against Bochum, yesterday was almost a really close game and the result reflects that. The statistics also show that Bayern have 12 shots, only 2 more than Fürth, and Fürth even have one more shot on goal than Bayern. I think not many have expected that Fürth would do so well and if they have betted that Fürth would score a goal then they also made some nice money with that.

Hello everyone,

I'm thinking about to invest in Zero coin.

Anyone can advice if this could be good investment for the next 2 years ?

Well your Forum Name suggests that you are either from the zero team itself or a bag holder of Zero coin and your thread is just created to shill your coin in a pretty obvious way but that is fine with me. There are a lot of projects out there that are here since a few years now and have proven, at least for me, that they are really here to stay because they keep developing stuff and improving their code and so on, but still they are somehow neglected and not even known to the wide audience for whatever reason and i can imagine that must be really frustrating and demotivating sometimes if you see that absolute sh*t-projects like all those meme-coins are getting hyped like crazy and have a daily trading volume of 10 M$+
