1361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had 50k and it was life or death situation to triple that money to pay... on: June 05, 2022, 03:12:51 PM
To pay for your fathers surgery who he is really really ill I am willing to risk this 50k and invest it to triple to be able to save him. What would you save on this next bull run ?
Much help would be highly highly appreciated !
(I will updated you guys as how it goes)

Hello OP. First off all i am sorry to hear that your father is in such a situation and i hope he is ok given the circumstances. To your question about tripling your money fast in order to pay for your fathers needed surgery think that you should not risk a crypto investment here. The risk of losing all those 50k usd is just way too high in my opinion. Also i think that you need to be really lucky at the moment to make a x3 of your investment because the whole crypto market is in bear mode.

Anybody watching Nadal-Zverev? Really strange second set with bunch of breaks, WTA stuff. Not a good day for Zverev, spilling 6:2 in set one tie break, not managing to serve out for second set and just now bad ankle twist. I think this match is over and most bets are off. If he comes back after this I'll be really surprised.

I could not watch the match of nadal vs zverev and i just read the news about the injury of zverev. I also saw the picture now where the injury happened and it really looks pretty bad. Zverev himself said that it looks like that there are several of his outer bands torn, but that he will fly to germany tomorrow to get a proper examination and an exact diagnose. If his outer Bands are really torn though, then he will probably also miss Wimbledon, which would be very sad for him.
1363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Depression Starts in Cryptocurrency Anytime on: June 04, 2022, 07:49:37 PM
Why Depression Starts in Cryptocurrency Anytime. some time gain profit some time loss.i feel any time depression.

It's always a matter of the personal view on things. For some people the bottle is always half full for others it is always half empty. I usually also have a rather unemotional or even negative view on things. So according to your statement i would guess that you are also a pretty negative person in general. If it is really true though, that you are still unhappy or even depressive even though you made an successful investment and are making a profit, then you should really try to change your perspective.

Transfer rumours:
Liverpool's Senegal forward Sadio Mane, 30, says he will do what the people want in response to an online poll in Senegal which found 60-70% of people want him to leave the Reds. Mane could have become a Liverpool legend and now he has managed to quarrel with the fans and no one wants him at the club anymore.

I have not heard that news yet and to be honest i don't really think that there is any substance to it. What i believe though is, that the majority of his countryman wants Mane to leave Liverpool, because i saw reports recently that Mane is unhappy with the appreciation he gets at Liverpool in comparison to Mohammed Salah. Given the fact that Mane is a huge hero in his country it definitely makes sense that his countrymen want him to leave Liverpool but i highly doubt, that he will really leave his club just because of this poll.
1365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana has two power outages in a month, causing prices to plummet on: June 04, 2022, 07:05:11 AM
The validator on the network did not process the new block for several hours. As a result, applications built on Solana's blockchain are now offline.
I don't own any Solana myself sadly, therefore i don't follow the developments around Solana that closely to be honest. Still i also had the news about the recent outages of the Solana blockchain in the news feed of my social media accounts.
I am also not really an IT expert but for me it is a pretty concerning thing, if a blockchain completely breaks down twice in only 1 month. So i am pretty surprised that the price of Solana stays relatively stable despite this news.

As said, yes it was a Ferrari mistake caused by Sainz but AGAIN we missing 2 penalties for Redbull for both cars.
You can't change the rules because they were almost on track, it is 0 or 1, It can't be 0.8.
And the past year they won the title for it.
I think that Red Bull is not to blame for the mistakes of the FIA. I think that the FIA just did not learn from the mistakes that they have made last year where they have pretty much handed the drivers championship to verstappen.
I think they just make clear to the drivers and the teams that they will give a penalty even if you are only an inch off the track and then they can start to be more strict.
Then they would have probably also gave a penalty to leclerc when he did not drive on the scale at first.
1367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Market 2022 | Back to the Bearish cycle: 2018-2020 year? on: June 03, 2022, 12:50:13 PM
This market cap has fallen 43% since the start of the year, which is equivalent to $1 trillion leaving the market.
For those of you who have been on this forum for a long time, I would like to ask about the current state of the crypto market. Does this mark the start of a protracted bearish cycle. Like in the 2018-2020 season?

I doubt that anyone on this forum can give you a clear and definitive answer to that question. All we can do is to give you our personal opinion and our best guesses about what will happen with the cryptomarket in the upcoming months and years.
I have to say that i really have no idea at the moment in what direction the crypto market will move in the future. I think though that it is very much possible that this just the beginning of a long bear market like the one that started in 2018.
1368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 03, 2022, 10:48:17 AM
Gnabry has rejected the latest contract offer from Bayern - reportedly around 18 million euros per season. Bayern won't be increasing their offer and he will probably be sold in the summer - considering that his contract is expiring next year.

If Gnabry is really demanding more than 18 millions per year as salary, then i can totally understand the FC Bayern officials if they don't want to meet those demands. It seems like the players don't understand, that the covid pandemic lead to huge financial losses for the football clubs because of the missing income from ticket sales. Players are just asking for more ans more money with each consecitive contract as if there was no pandemic. Totally decoupled from reality.
1369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What NFT do you recommend to keep an eye on? on: June 03, 2022, 08:11:01 AM
Hello everyone, I am new to this world, I have become very passionate about nft and digital art so I have decided to invest time in some new and interesting project.
I am also interested in promoting the best projects.
I would like your favorites.. come on!

To be honest i don't really have a NFT project that i observing at the moment and from what i think that i definitely need to buy a few of those NFT's. I just think that it is just not the right time to buy into a NFT project right now. The market is on a downward trend for a few weeks now and therefore all project have lost significant value. As usual during a bear market new and small cap projects are suffering a lot more than established and big coins like Bitcoin or Ethereum and NFT projects are in most cases still relatively small projects and relatively new too. I also think that the big hype wave of NFT's is also over now.
That does not mean that NFT's are dead but i think that a lot of NFT projects will die in the coming weeks and only the good ones will survive.
1370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 02, 2022, 09:00:57 PM
Juventus are making a quick start to the transfer season. The Italian team which added Dusan Vlahovic to its squad is now in contact with Salah. Juventus wants to make its mark on the Champions League and Italia Serie A next year by strengthening their squad. If Salah's salary is not raised we may see him next year at Juventus.

I highly doubt that there is much substance to that rumor. Mohammad Salah is probably playing at the second best football club at the moment (Manchester City is the strongest club for me)  and he is loved by everyone their and also the biggest star of Liverpool. That worship for Mohammad Salah is probably also one of the reasons why Sadio Mane apparently wants to leave Liverpool now to join Bayern Munich. So i highly doubt that Mo Salah is unhappy at Liverpool at the moment. I don't really know how high the demands from Salah are in terms of the salary but i highly doubt that he has such extraordinary high demands like Haaland or Mbappe.
So i really don't see Salah joining Juventus, as he has no reason to do so.
1371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bear Market Can Be A Waste Of Time or Useful Depending on How We Approach It on: June 02, 2022, 06:58:44 PM
During a bear market, almost every new project is going to fail immediately.

Besides the new cryptocurrencies, from my perspective, I'd look more at cryptocurrencies that hold utility, keep developing and have a serious community.

My general take on investing in bear or bull markets within the whole crypto space is, that during a bull market you can achieve the highest potential profit when you invest into new and upcoming projects that have a strong team, a real use case, a roadmap that makes sense and of course also fair tokenomics. Of course even if a new projects is fulfilling all of those requirements then there is still a chance that it will fail and that the money you invested is lost, but that is just the nature of the game in the crypto space.
During a bear market though we have the chance to invest into projects that are already big and established for a discounted price. For my personal taste those price ranges have not been reached yet but if we are in for another few months of bear market i might invest into projects like ETH or BNB.
1372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: June 02, 2022, 02:36:57 PM
We may have another GP in the USA.
This time is New York, they are thinking about it, and not clear if already asked it officially FIA.
With the American owners, we will have more and more GPs in the USA and it is not a bad thing if the tracks are beautiful over GPs like Monaco, Imola, Hungary...

One of the big goals when the new owners took over the Formula 1 from Bernie Ecclestone was to make the Formula 1 as a product more attractive for the north american viewers because that is pretty much the only reason where the Formula 1 is not really popular yet. This is also the reason i guess why the races are now starting 2 hours later in comparison to the years before, so the race is not starting in the early morning for viewers from america.
So it would definitely make sense if they would try to add a second grand prix in the United states to the race calendar and even though it is not perfect for me because i am from europe and the race will start in the late evening i would still prefer a cool new race track over Monaco any time, because that always is the most boring race possible.
1373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can anyone explain what is the value of meme coins? on: June 02, 2022, 02:30:28 PM
I am confused that there are meme coins whose prices are sky rocketing but I dont see any real value these meme coins are providing

Well i can only say that i have the same opinion about meme-coins as you. They don't really have a real use-case and they don't offer any functionality for their users. That is also a reason why a lot of people call them shit-coins. The reason why a lot of those shit-coins showed such a good price performance was pretty simple and also pretty ridiculous to be honest. Elon Musk made a tweet about Dogecoin a few months ago and that was enough to make the price of Dogecoin itself rise significantly it also was the reason why the wave of second generation meme-coins started a few months ago. During the peak of the meme-coin craze there were like hundreds of new meme-coins appearing every week and 99% percent of them were dead again after a few days.
Thank god the meme-coin hype is over.
1374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 winner - Real Madrid! on: June 01, 2022, 09:40:31 PM
Real Madrid's quality is actually still below Real Madrid in Europe, that's a fact that can't be hidden. Of course Liverpool have a chance to beat Madrid, but what is clear is that Real Madrid are far more experienced than them. If the two teams meet again, then I think Liverpool will still lose with the strategy and experience that Madrid have so far.

I think you wanted to say that the quality of Liverpool in Europe is still below the one of Real Madrid. If that is the case then i have to disagree because i think that at the moment Manchester City is the strongest team in Europe (and therefore also in the world obviously) and Liverpool is probably the second strongest one. Real Madrid was very lucky in the knockout stage this is a fact for me. Of course it is a huge quality of Real Madrid to never give up and to always believe in yourself even if you are 2 goals down and it is already the 90th minute, but still you also need a huge amount of luck to score two goals in two minutes.
In the final Liverpool was also the better team and i would guess that if the current team of Liverpool would play against the current team of Real Madrid ten times then Liverpool would win 7 or 8 matches out of that 10.
1375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it good time for alts on: June 01, 2022, 08:27:41 PM
Do we need to wait more 1- 2 years then buy alts now before right before bull market kick in?

No one can give you a clear answer to that question because no one in here can look into the future and therefore all we can give you is our personal opinion and maybe our best guesses what could happen in the next few months or so. I personally think that we will be in a bear market for a couple more months at least, which would mean that especially small cap altcoins would probably will be going down even more from this point on because in a bear market altcoins and especially small and new ones are falling way harder than Bitcoin and the big altcoins like Ethereum, Solana, BNB and so on. So i personally wait a little longer until i invest.
1376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 01, 2022, 11:03:23 AM
The news of the departure of Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich has been circulating in several football media some time ago. And I'm sure this time Lewandowski will really leave the Allianz Arena, but where is Lewandowski's destination which is still a question mark?
In some media, Bayern Munich has also been linked with negotiations with Liverpool striker, Sadio Mane. This has further strengthened speculation about Lewandowski's departure from Munich.

So far i always thought that the recent wish of Lewandowski to leave Bayern Munich is just a way to get himself a better contract after the next season at Munich again, because Lewandowski and his agents has done that every time so far when his contract was running out, but this time it really seems to be different. The statement of Lewandowski that he made a few days ago that his history at Bayern Munich is definitely over was very clear and i don't think he will have a future at Munich anymore and it would be pretty stupid from the Bayern officials to insist that Lewandowski has to stay another year.
I am pretty sure that his transfer to Barca will be announced within the next few weeks.
1377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why most crypto projects' team members are made public these days? on: June 01, 2022, 11:00:28 AM
I've noticed that most crypto projects have team members which are publicly known by the public. Projects like Ethereum, Cardano, Terra, and others have founders whose identities are known by everyone around the world. Wasn't Bitcoin designed by an unknown person (or group of persons) named Satoshi Nakamoto?
What are your thoughts about this? Will this greatly affect the decentralization of the whole crypto/Blockchain industry? If not, why? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

To be honest for me it is a good thing that most teams that are behind new crypto projects are now transparent and that you can check in what kind of positions they were working before and what they have done so far. I know that the inventor of Bitcoin is still unknown to this day and that is also a important factor why Bitcoin has become such a huge success because in the end Bitcoin was about giving the power back to the normal people and to not be dependent on a big company or a country.
The whole crypto industry has matured though since the introduction of Bitcoin and i don't think that you can except people to fund your project with a lot of money when you don't even tell them who you are.
1378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 31, 2022, 06:36:08 PM
Tottenham Hotspur signed Ivan Perisic for two years. His contract with Inter end in May, he was there for seven years. Ivan Perisic had a good season with ten goals in forty eight games, he was a starter and played in almost all games. I don't know why Inter released him instead of renew his contract. I guess they think about replacing him with better player. It's a good deal for Spurs since they get him for free. We don't know about contract details, he may get some signing on fee but it would be less than a transfer fee anyway.

I think that Ivan Perisic is a really good player that was maybe never considered to be a really world class player but he definitely has the quality to improve the quality of every squad in the world if not in the starting eleven then at least as a substitute for the last 30 minutes or something like that. I watched a lot of his games when he was playing for Bayern for 1 season two years ago and there he always delivered great performances and was always a reliable player when he came in as a substitute.
I also don't think that he is too old already as he is just as old as Lewandowski and i think he has at least 2 or 3 more years ahead of him where he can deliver great performances.
1379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Shiba getting rugged like Luna? on: May 31, 2022, 05:13:57 PM
I do not know what to make out of the news today about Shiba Inu's founder Ryosh distancing himself from Shiba and deleting all media posts across his handles. Usually this is a red flag and whenever it happens it gives the impression of a rugpull. Is that what we are likely going to have here, a similar situation of investors losing money like they lost in Luna. What is your observation on this? Please share with us.
Source link: https://www.moneycontrol.com/news/business/cryptocurrency/shiba-inu-founder-deletes-all-tweets-blogs-8613841.html

I don't invest into meme-coins (because they are shit-coins for me) therefore i don't really follow the news regarding Shiba Inu that closely. I think though that the founder of Shiba Inu should be a pretty well known man by now as Shiba Inu was the most successful one among all those hundreds of second generation meme-coins that came out in the last months, so i don't think that deleting all social media posts would not really help him to disappear.
That is why i don't think that this is a sign for a rug-pull that is coming shortly. I also think that a complete rugpull is not even possible anymore with Shiba Inu, as it is also listed on centralized exchanges by now. Of course if the founder of Shiba Inu would dump all of his tokens at once then this is pretty much the end of the project too..rugpull or not.
1380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bear markets are a time for building, development and research on: May 31, 2022, 10:09:30 AM
I saw a thread suggesting that new coins will bring big profit. This is true, however, these new projects that might bring big profit are harder to find during a bear market. This is not anymore a market where you can buy the most stupid coin similar to memecoins and profit 100x. This time we need to do more research on the project, what it does, the tokenomics, how much coins or tokens are issued and how much are emitted daily, weekly or monthly and the development team, if they are good and if they have enough funds to develop the project all throughout the bear market.

My general take on the crypto market is that during a full out bull market it gives you the best profit when you invest into new and upcoming projects that have a promising use case, a solid team, a roadmap that makes sense and of course also tokenomics that are fair for everyone. It is also true though that during a bear market like the one that we are in right now those new projects are suffering usually way harder than established projects. My portfolio consists mainly of new projects and it's value is almost down to 0 compared to it's ATH which is a shame.
A bear market is a good chance though to invest into big and established projects that are to expensive during a bull market to enter, but a long bear market might be a good opportunity here.
